Miette Mountain Cabins

Die Cabin hat es an nichts fehlen lassen. Es war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Die Lage war nahe an der Natur, jedoch am Rand des Jasper National Parks.

Da gab es nicht das geringste zu bemängeln.

The facilities were very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We were unable to book 4 consecutive nights in Jasper itself so ended up 2 nights here. Quite quaint cabins. Nice having dinner in our cabin and watching the deer grazing on the playground area. A very easy drive to the Miette hot springs which we loved. Easy drive to Hinton and the shopping mall, the Beaver Boardwalk and the Folding Mountain Brewery and restaurant

오후 5시쯤 도착했는데 정전이라고 전기도 물도 안나온다고 합니다 아침까지 화장실 물도 못내려서 계속 다른사람이 소변 눈 변기에 또 소변을 봐야 하는 끔찍한 경험이었어요 보상도 없다고 했습니다 전등도 마련되어 있지 않아서 일회용 작은 형광라이트 두개만 받았어요 위생도 최악입니다. 침구에 먼지가 많아서 재채기가 계속 나왔고 샤워시설도 곰팡이 때문에 비위가 상했어요 하우스키핑 서비스도 전혀 해주지 않아 수건이 부족해서 로비에 가서 수건을 달라고 하니 달랑 한장밖에 안줬어요

Beautiful area, BBQ facilities and outdoor gas fire pits a bonus. Though when we were there in July there were too many mosquitoes.

The people were nice. We were only looking for a one night stay near Jasper, nothing fancy, that is it. The room seemed clean and the bed was comfy.

The road in front of our room was very loud, unfortunately so was the person snoring next door, it made our night very difficult. We arrived during a powercut and had to settle in the room in the dark, the power didn't come back until long after we were fast asleep (past 11PM). The hotel provided glow sticks but if this is a recurring occurrence, which we understand it is, maybe some battery-powered lamps for each cabin would be a nice addition.

Very comfortable and up to date. The kitchen area was well supplied and just what we needed.

It was a little far from Jasper but that turned out to be okay. Any lodging is expensive this time of year which is why we were here. Lodging in Jasper is much higher.

We had such a lovely welcome arriving here quite late in the evening when we were tired. The reception staff were wonderful and so accommodating - the best we'd met across our whole road-trip. The location was also very convenient for us - near the hot springs and on our way driving on to Edmonton for our plane.

The pool is dated, but it really didn't matter to us. Everything else was great.

Esta alejado de los puntos de interés. El lago Maligne a más de 1 hora

We paid $500 per night for very small cabins which lacked basic amenities. No wardrobe or drawers, no aircon, cheap toasters. When we arrived hot water plumbing didn’t work, so no showers or toilet flushing. We tried a cold shower and discovered the taps were faulty. After we complained, and an unexpected cancellation happened, we were moved to a better room thankfully

Schön ist die gesamte Anlage. Man kann jederzeit kostenlos Tee, Kaffee, Kakao und Kekse holen. Die Gaslagerfeuer sind gemütlich und die Grillstation bestens ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Auch der Pool ist für Kinder eine tolle Abwechslung.

Es ist sehr hellhörig und liegt direkt am Highway. Das heißt, man hört auf der einen Seite die Autos vorbeidonnern und auf der anderen Seite die Nachbarn schnarchen. Das Schlafsofa war unbequem, da gibt es sicher hochwertigere Lösungen.

Guests and staff were smoking, having to smell cigarettes smoke while trying to enjoy the pool. Also, coffee in guest room was awful.

La location suggestiva accanto al bosco. La sala giochi in comune con servizio macchina del caffè e biscotti a disposizione degli ospiti. Area esterna comune molto carina con le tipiche sedie Canadesi attorno al fuoco.

La pulizia da rivedere, abbiamo trovato diverse zanzare spiaccicate sui muri e la coperta del letto con macchie gialle non ben definite. La mancata presenza di un addetto alla Reception durante la notte. C'è stato un blackout e nessuno del personale ha potuto dare indicazioni sino alle 8:00 del mattino. C'è un telefono per emergenze ma essendo saltata la corrente non funzionava, oltretutto se hai la casetta lontana dalla Reception raggiungere il telefono in caso di emergenza non è il massimo della comodità e sicurezza.

Las cabañas son fantásticas, limpias, amplias, con cocina y muy bonitas. Están situadas en los linderos de un bosque, al lado de la carretera que va a Jasper (35 min).

La ubicación está muy bien si se quiere estar un poco aislado y se busca más bosque que ciudad. El complejo tiene una tienda pequeña pero realmente tiene muy pocas cosas, así que para suministros de comida hay que ir a Jasper o a Hinton.

They double booked our room!!! We booked four cabins for a 3 night family reunion almost a year before. Suddenly a couple of weeks before the trip were told our room was double booked and they couldn’t accommodate us. Luckily (?) not all of our party could make it so they stuck us in a miners cabin but we had to change to a different room for the last night. Where do we go for the 6 hours between check out and check in?!? Do not stay in a miners cabin. Dirty and run down.

Molto suggestiva, si tratta di strutture in legno immerse nel verde, il contatto con la natura è molto piacevole. Anche la zona centrale con il fuoco e la griglia per barbecue può rappresentare un gradevole momento di socializzazione con altre famiglie villeggianti. Un grande senso di rilassatezza per apprezzare al meglio la splendida natura canadese.

Le stanze evidentemente hanno un comfort medio ma questo va valutato e contestualizzato tenuto conto che più che un hotel è sostanzialmente un glamping e quindi nel valutare la struttura occorre partire da questa consapevolezza.

Just be aware that not all of the cabins have a kitchenette, despite the photos presented in Bookings. We thought we would have a kitchenette, but didn't. The staff were so helpful though and upgraded us to a cabin with a kitchenette.

La location era molto suggestiva e ben curata. L’edificio principale aveva te e biscotti e una sala giochi ben fornita.

La stanza era abbastanza piccola, non c'era spazio per le valigie. Il bagno molto piccolo, non c'era spazio per appoggiare nulla. L'angolo cottura molto piccolo con quanto necessario per cucinare. Il contesto fantastico, a ridosso del bosco, dalla finestra della camera abbiamo visto transitare nel giardino leprotti, caprioli, scoiattoli e una sera anche un orso. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Diciamo che eravamo veramente a contatto con la natura.

La stanza infestata dalle zanzare all'arrivo e purtroppo non avevano insetticidi ma solo una lampada che le dovrebbe attirare .... con scarso successo. Abbiamo passato un'ora a cercare di liberarci delle zanzare, diciamo che però il contesto e la natura ci hanno ripagati.

Laut, da direkt an der Autobahn, kein Restaurant, auch nicht in der Nähe. Nach Jasper dauert die Fahrt schon 35 Minuten.

Proximité de la route qui est vraiment une nuisance sonore y compris pour les chalets dits haut de gamme Le chauffage en panne de la piscine dure depuis plusieurs semaines, pas de réparation à notre arrivée et aucune remise sur le prix sachant qu’on est à 45 min de Jasper, la piscine était le vrai argument pour aller jusqu’à la bas On a signalé une lumière qui dysfonctionne dans la salle à manger, ils ont inversés les ampoules avec d’autres pièces.

Die größeren Häuser sind evtl komfortabler aber für 2 Personen reichen die Hütten. Es fehlt ein bisschen Stauraum, wenn man mal auspacken möchte.

Très bonne literie. Salle de jeux (ping pong, billard, baby foot ...) agréable. Machines à laver le linge et sèche-linge bien utiles : 3 dollars le programme. Durée lavage linge de couleur 35 mn, séchage medium 1 h.

Cabine peu fonctionnelle, aucun rangement pour ses affaires, ni patère, ni cintre, ni meuble dans la pièce et la salle d'eau minuscule. Nous devons garder les valises pleines au sol. Dans la cuisine vaisselle très insuffisante et peu de place pour utiliser le petit électroménager. Douche trop petite avec douchette non orientable, on ne peut pas se laver sans se mouiller la tête. Énormément de moustiques, le premier soir nous avons été envahis à notre arrivée en début de soirée, nous avons passé la première heure à en faire la chasse. Impossible de s'installer sur les chaises extérieures car trop de moustiques. Wi-Fi très mauvais et 5G très instable, nous étions souvent sans aucun réseau. La piscine extérieure n'était pas utilisable car non chauffée et cela semble être habituel qu'elle soit ainsi. Beaucoup trop loin de Jasper (une cinquantaine de kms) où l'on doit acheter sa nourriture car la "supérette" ne propose rien de frais, que des pâtes. Beaucoup trop d'inconvénients pour un prix si élevé.

The location

The staff failed to return an item of value that was left in the cabin.

Our "cabin" was spacious and comfortable. Two bedrooms and a full bath are up rustic stairs. There is a kitchen and half bath downstairs along with a sitting area. (If both bedrooms are occupied, whoever stays in the front bedroom either has to walk through the back bedroom to get to the shower or use the half bath downstairs.) The grounds are nice, and so is the lobby area, which has coffee and cookies 24/7, as well as a Ping-Pong and billiards table. There is a store with basic and gift-shop items. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful.

The location (Brule Mines) is on the way to the Miette Hot Springs, but is a bit isolated, so you'll want to either eat at restaurants in Jasper town or shop for groceries there. The mosquitoes come out at night, so bring bug spray.

Cleanliness was very poor, wifi was not working, sofa bed when opened does not fit the room unless you move out the furniture, very cramped. It’s far from Jasper, no food places nearby and the place does not have a restaurant or eating joint

The place was at the back and dark and the windows were filthy. It was expensive for what it was and just the 2 of us. We didn’t use any of the facilities

This ‘hotel’ did not meet the expectations that were set from the description set out. I did not feel safe or comfortable in this ‘hotel’. Motel is more accurate and the price was excessive for what was given, especially since they told us that our family wouldn’t fit in one room, we could have easily done so. The second room was an unnecessary and just an extra charge.

This establishment was was not accurately described in this site at all. The location was totally wrong. This establishment was located 45 minutes from Jasper town. Plus the anijt of mosquitoes made it incredibly uncomfortable

Staff were friendly and helpful. There was an outdoor pool, laundry services, bbq facilities and a lounge/games room. The cabin was clean, there was free parking and the surroundings were lovely and well kept. Close to Miette Hot Springs. Travel cot available on request. Basic utensils in the kitchenette.

It was further outside Jasper than expected and added extra time in the car with a toddler! The bedroom was tight with a travel cot. We also struggled to regulate the temperature of the bedroom. There was a range in the living area which quickly warmed the rooms but when turned down there was a vent beside the bed which blew cold air. I would also suggest including in the cabins with the kitchenette a sweeping brush and dust pan. There didn’t appear to be an area to bring rubbish/recycling to so we asked reception and they said housekeeping would collect it but they didn’t. We were leaving the next day so it wasn’t a big issue.

We booked one of the smaller cabins which was well equipped for making our own meals (we stopped for food in Jasper on the way up as we knew there wasn’t much nearby, and went to Hinton the next day). Cabins are about 30mins from the Miette Hot Springs - which is a great drive for the chance to see bears (at a safe distance). Overall loved the stay here - very peaceful and relaxing with, other amenities such as a small pool, fire pits, hammocks, small shop - plus free coffee and cookies!

We arrived late evening after a particularly warm day, so the cabin was extremely warm. Didn’t help that the thermostat had been left on high, so the furnace had been adding to the heat of the property. Although no a/c there were two fans which eventually helped cool things down for the 2nd night, after keeping blinds shut throughout the day.

The room was large and well equipped. The facilities were great and the staff were helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful.

There wasn't much to buy in the shop for meal times so shopping had to be done in Jasper which is a half hour drive away. Some of the rooms equipment could do with an update but was all usable.

Beds were squeaky. Toilets were making lot of noise. Floors were also squeaky. Fans given were too small. Mosquitoes were a nuisance

Das Internet war sehr schlecht. Die Bildübertragung war miserabel. Das Zimmer war nicht vollkommen sauber. Der Pool war kalt und nicht sauber. Die Cabins sind weit weg gelegen von Jasper, jedoch sehr gute Lage zu den Hotsprings.

Unsere Cabin war für drei Leute sehr klein, zwar renoviert aber trotzdem in die Jahre gekommen. Die großen Cabins sahen toll aus.

For the price I would say breakfast should be included since it is almost 40 mins drive from Jasper too.

It was very expensive for pne night but we knew that when we booked it, for what we paid yph would hope there would be Wi-Fi, better than it was. I needed to log into work but wasn't even strong enough for that. It is not necessary for everyone but was important to me and I was told it was high speed. That was disappointing and wouldn't stay again. Otherwise it was ok.

Amazing location, close to Miette Hot Springs and we sighted black bears on the drive! Comfortable cabin. Lots of mosquitoes in the summer but easy to keep out of the room.

So good about everything! Cozy and comfortable! My daughter loves the game room, and the cookies! The staffs are really friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful place for a family vacation!

Erg vriendelijk personeel, we mochten alvast gebruik maken van het zwembad om nadat we te vroeg waren. Handdoeken lagen klaar! De locatie is ook prima: rustig hoewel direct aan de Highway- goede uitvalsbasis voor de Hot Springs. We hadden een luxe cabin met een aparte slaapkamer: erg prettig. In de lounge was er gratis koffie en koekjes: heerlijke koffie! Leuke tip gekregen van Princess, de receptioniste, bezoeken van de BeaverWalk in Hinton: we hebben ze inderdaad gezien!

Hoewel alles schoon was waren er inderdaad wat spinnenwebben aan de balken.

I love that the kitchen is fully equipped. They have bbq station available and the pool water is warm.

It has plenty of tables outside to do picnic. The staff are extremely nice and provided all the info I needed.

The room was nice size and clean. Out of town and not any food close by. The facility was clean and lots of games in the main lodge, a store where you can purchase some food, drinks and stuff and a nice pool.

I thought I was getting a cabin but ended up in more of a hotel room upstairs. Was looking forward to sitting out on the porch but the place was fine, living room and bedroom. Room was a bit noisy from the traffic.

1. חדרים פשוטים , מקלחת קטנה מאוד, אביזרים בסיסיים לחלוטין. 2. שירות חדרים על פי בקשה בלבד! ביקשנו מוקדם בבוקר לסדר את החדר שלנו… כשהגענו לחדר בחזרה בשעה 18:00 החדר עדיין לא סודר, והיינו צריכים לבקש שנית. 3. כשקיבלנו את החדר ביום הראשון - המצעים לא היו נקיים… 4. חיבור אינטרנט - בעייתי ביותר! מתחבר ומתנתק מעצמו כל הזמן. 5. לסיכום - המחיר לא שווה את התמורה שקבלנו, וזאת בהשוואה לחדרים אחרים בהם היינו במהלך הטיול שלנו בתקופה זו - יוני 2026.

Catherine was lovely at check in. The cabin had lots of good amenities, as did the wider accommodation.

There was a heater/cooler in the room which was a little noisy and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it off! And the Cabins were a smidge dated.

Super ausgestattet, sah sehr hochwertig & neu aus. Ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze. Der Spiele/Unterhaltungsraum war genial. 😊 Die Kostenfrein Kekse & heiße Schokolade/Kaffee Falls wir je zum Skifahren nach Kanada gehen würden, dann hierher 😊😇 (aber auch falls wir mal wieder im Sommer kommen würden)

Sehr schöne Außenanlage, es stehen Grills zur Verfügung, tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten um Gasfeuerstellen. Die Blockhäuser in der Anlage sahen sehr gut aus, wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2 Stock mit einer kleinen Sitzgelegenheit. Pool war sauber. Es gab Kaffee, Tee und Cookies kostenfrei.

Restaurants weit weg. Leider war das Badezimmer nicht ordentlich geputzt, es waren in den Ecken und in der Badewanne noch die Haare von den Vorgängern.

I liked the location. It was nice being out of Jasper and close to walking trails.

The wifi was awful. I had a couple of work related issues to attend to and had to drive into Hinton to get it done. Also, this was the most I'd paid for two nights accomodation in a month of touring western Canada and expected more.

Un petit chalet très coquet situé tout près des sources thermales. L’accueil du personnel était chaleureux.

These cabins offer a great remote feeling for a trip to Jasper. They are a 35 minute drive from Jasper town so they function as a lovely get away. The cabin was very big with an amazing kitchenette and clean bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the facilities such as the games room and pool were lots of fun.

I would note that there is basically no WiFi. It constantly drops and most of the time doesn’t work. We flagged this to the staff who did their very best to try fix it but, understandably, with the remote nature of the cabins there is not much they can do.

Blisko do popularnych szlaków np. Sulphur Trail. Przytulna i spokojna lokalizacja.świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania okolic Jasper. Dobre udogodnienia na obiekcie np. grill, basen, sala gier.

Byliśmy w chatce dwu-osobowej przez 4 dni i mogłoby być troche wiecej miejsca na przechowywanie ubrań, ale to mały szczegół 😉

Good location and especially as we watched a black bear walk across the adjoining park area. The room was warm and the bed comfortableThe staff were nice.

Wifi was poor during peak times and dropped out. The amount of crockery and glasses and cooking items were inadequate given that the cabins are designed for self catering as it is a 40 minute drive to Jasper

Had the best 48 th Wedding Anniversary there, clean friendly staff, I would recommend it to anyone. Loved it 😊❤️

50 dollars par jour de caution à payer dès l arrivée qu on nous rendra plus tard une fois partis... piscine pas très propre au fond. Un peu loin de Jasper 48 km. Aucun placard dans la chambre pour ranger ses affaires. Douche petite.

Het huisje was oud en sober ingericht, de kwaliteit/prijs was gewoon ver te zoeken. Wij betaalden bijna 800 euro voor 2 nachten. Je kunt beter doorrijden naar Hinton of naar Edmonton.

Отдельные домики вблизи гор и леса - это очень приятно и красиво. Недалеко расположены термальные источники. Рядом с каждым домиком есть парковочное место для машины. В номере есть косметические принадлежности.

В описании проживания было написано, что check-in до 23:00. Мы на это время и рассчитывали. В день заезда ни с утра ни в обед никаких изменений не было. Когда мы были в пути и появилась связь (в тех районах на больших расстояниях часто нет связи), то получили сообщение от хозяина отеля (или управляющего), что они закрываюся в 22:00, а было уже 21:30... В общем, доехали мы, заселились. Ложимся спать - а постель использованная, видимо после предыдущих постояльцев ещё осталась...

Miette Cabins is a perfect place to relax in the mountains. The ameneties were great and in top notch condition. The chalet we stayed at was clean, modern with that « cozy chalet » vibe. The staff was kind and welcoming !
