Overlander Mountain Lodge

Beautiful location 30mins outside of Jasper. The newly renovated rooms were warm and cosy. The views were beautiful and the restaurant was fantastic.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

Location was great. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the late afternoon with my coffee. Loved having a kitchen so we could eat when we wanted.

Die Cabin war sehr klein für drei Personen mit Gepäck. Ein Fenster war defekt und konnte während unseres 3-Nächte-Aufenthalts nicht repariert werden; der Kühlschrank war sehr laut; die Spülung der Toilette lief entweder immer weiter oder auch schon mal gar nicht; eine Renovierung ist wohl für November 2026 geplant 40 Minuten von Jasper entfernt

No elevator. Staying in the lodge our room was above the outside seating for their dining room and when sitting on our balcony no privacy. Difficult to regulate temperature in room.

The location is quite beautiful but it is outside Jasper National Park, not inside as advertised.

Room 136: Squeaky bed, heater ran constantly and was noisy, dead bugs in the ceiling light, soap dish in the shower had black gunk underneath (where caulking would be), baseboard behind the toilet not secured, rusty plugs for sinks, stovetop installed backwards.

The View was beautiful

There was left over food on the floor from previous occupants. Beds were really small. Walls paper thin. I could hear the person occupying the cabin beside me go to the bathroom and play on their pho e. No TV no microwave and horrible coffee!!

Man muss wissen, dass es von hier aus bis Jasper fast 40 Autominuten sind.

The surroundings were stunning & views from infront of the restaurant were beautiful! Staff were very friendly & super helpful. Room was very clean.

Our room was a little tucked away & no view. The hob was a nightmare, kept turning itself off & was installed back to front, with the controls at the back behind. With the saucepans on was a little tricky. & took a long time to cook our meal due to it turning itself off.

Sehr nette gepflegte historische Lodge im alpinen Stil mit Blick auf die Rockies. Unser Doppelzimmer war im Haupthaus und hatte einen Balkon eine Kaffeemaschine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Das Bett waren sehr angenehm. Der Ausblick auf die Rockies und den Jasper NP ist großartig und der Nachthimmel ist unbeschreiblich! Man sieht unfassbar viele Sterne und sogar die Milchstraße! Die Lage ca. 50km von Jasper entfernt muss man bei der Buchung bedenken. Vorort kann man gegen Bezahlung im Restaurant Stone Peak Frühstücken oder Abendessen.

A little bit out of Jasper but a pretty drive . Old log cabin style lodging. BEAUTIFUL view from the main area!!! Restaurant was good people were very , very friendly. I’d definitely go back !!

Might need a few more options on the dinner menu if you plan to eat there. Our room was nice , bathroom pretty small but again it’s older.

I take full ownership for not digging into the details, but I felt very mislead about what I was booking. For the price it was a major disappointment. I paid over $2,100 for 2 nights in a place that wasn’t worth anywhere near that price. I learned a valuable lesson. I would not stay here again.

We liked the cabin style and general feel of the property. It wasn’t very busy and so had more of a relaxing atmosphere. Lovely big fire in the reception area too.

Disappointed in the restaurant experience. Tried it the first night of our stay, and made a conscious effort not to return for food again throughout. Overpriced for what it was, service wasn’t the best (e.g. steak knives had to be requested half way through meal and had to request to put in any orders), and very little flexibility with the food menu (one of our party had a dislike and requested to swap the side salad it came with to any vegetable the kitchen may have, lots options detailed on the menu, offered to pay for the swap, but unfortunately this was declined).

they gave us the corner suite, which is a slightly bigger space with SPECTACULAR View. Wonderful!! however, it is almost 45 minutes from Jasper and it is in the boonies. Not many restaurants to choose.The overlander restaurant (in the main building)has also SPECTACULAR view but very pricey. The room is clean , with a fireplace (very good) but bathroom is clean but a bit dated (1960ish).

And the room is $750 US for 2 nights, for a pretty dated room, which is not what I expect.

Everything!! Beautiful property, staff was wonderful, Rishi the operations manager, makes everyone feel like friends versus a customer! Outstanding view outside our spacious Mountain View room.

Gepflegte Anlage - überaus freundliches Personal. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen, nur die Geräusche durch Lüftung usw. auch aus den nebenliegenden Räumen war etwas zu gross.

Zimmer könnte ruhiger sein, Waschbecken extrem unpraktisch, da zu tief liegend.

A bit of a drive to Jasper, but in a pretty spot. Our cabin seemed to have been recently refurbished and was very comfortable. Breakfast was extra but the price was fairly reasonable and my salmon bagel was excellent.

The food was excellent but the food service could have been faster. We waited over an hour after ordering to be served breakfast.

La stanza è tipo baita montana con caminetto in camera da letto. Tutto nuovissimo. Location molto suggestiva all'interno di un parco con sentieri tra i boschi.

L'autostrada vicina è un pò rumorosa.

The location and the staff

Our room had a terrible smell and when we were moved (which was great) the new room had a broken fire, coffee machine, & extractor fan in the bathroom. Then, when we'd booked a room in the restaurant we were only offered tge limited but very expensive menu when all other guests were also offered the "chefs special menu" it felt like we were being conned into paying premium.

是我想象中的森林小木屋的感觉，很有氛围感，虽然比较偏远，但这不正是来jasper的意义吗？远离喧嚣走进森林。早餐口味很好，价格适中，吃早餐时的风景很美。

可能是因为没有其他的房间了，前台员工给到了主楼最后一间的位置，应该是在厨房的正上方，机器的声音和震动很大影响睡眠和整体体验，在这种森林小木屋本身是可以接受清洁度设施便利性差一点房屋老旧一点的，但我得到的这件房间确实不太适合居住，不应该拿出来给客人。

The place is enchanching and the people running it are wonderful welcoming and helpful we had some car trouble and the assisted is impeccably higly recommended we d like to than them again

Tipica baita di montagna appena prima dell'ingresso nel Jasper National Park. Terrazza del ristorante nell'area comune stupenda, con vista mozzafiato sulle montagne del jasper. Consigliatissima!!

Arrived at my unit (admittedly late) and found my parking space taken by someone else. So had to park at an adjacent unit and drag my luggage across the dirt road to my unit. Heat in the room could not be shut off even though the thermostat was off and got very hot in the night. Mentioned to front desk and was given an 8" desk fan and an apology. Miserable night of minimal sleep. Mentioned to front desk at checkout and requested a reduction in our room rate. Was told she couldn't do that but would mention to manager who was away for several days. Never heard anything back. This stay wins the award for both the most miserable and the most expensive of my 3 week vacation. Too embarrassed to say what I paid.

Staff very nice, the food was great (had breakfast and dinner there) and the view from the deck is spectacular…! Well located near a brewery too.

Rooms are very dated for the price and as a result very noisy (can hear the pipes when different rooms are showering - was like a drill in the room). So for £200 a night, I would say very steep for the standard of room…

la struttura è un po' distante da Jasper e, la sera, il percorso di rientro risultava scomodo a causa della scarsa illuminazione delle strade.

Cuando llegamos le habían dado la habitación que teníamos reservada para cuatro personas a otros clientes, pero nos dieron una alternativa magnífica, mejor que la reservada. Dos habitaciones con vistas a la montaña espectaculares, nos hicieron un 50% de descuento y nos invitaron a una cena fantástica. El gerente y el resto de personal un 10. Totalmente recomendable.

Nette Hütte mit Aussicht, schönes Badezimmer

Betten waren sehr schmal, Kamin war im Hochsommer an. Hütte hat keine Klimaanlage, dementsprechend war es sehr warm in der Hütte.

Die Lodge liegt etwa 40 min von Jasper im Miettetal. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für diese Gegend aber auch für den Jasper NP. Im hauseigenen Restaurant kann man sehr gut Frühstücken aber auch zum Dinner gehen. Grandios ist der Blick ins Miettetal.

Ubicació idílica, amb unes vistes espectaculars. L’habitació és molt pràctica i està molt ben equipada. El personal de l’allotjament és super amable i hi vam estar molt a gust. El menjar del restaurant també és molt bo.

La dutxa és una mica anticuada i el preu, molt alt pel tipus d’allotjament. Queda una mica allunyat del poble de Jasper.

Frühstück war lecker. Die Küche in der Lodge war ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Lodge ist großzügig für 4 Personen.

Das Bad war klein. Die Dusche in der Dachschräge für große Menschen ein Problem und vor allem war der Duschkopf total verkalkt. Es kam nur sehr spärlich Wasser. Die Lodge wird als Unterkunft in Jasper angegeben. Tatsächlich ist sie 50 km entfernt vom Ort. Die Lage vor Ort ist traumhaft.

Incredible views in the mountains, lovely lodges and fantastic food and drinks in the restaurant. Menu of high quality with an excellent service by the resort staff.

The only downside is it is around 30 minutes drive to Jasper main town however this meant the resort felt lovely and secluded.

Een rustige plek, heel stil en je kan 's nachts prachtig de sterren zien. Het ligt nl 55 km boven Jsper. Er zit een goed en sfeervol restaurant bij met prachtig uitzicht. Prima bedden.

De kamer is aan de kleine kant voor 3 personen (2 volw en tiener plus bagage).

Le chalet était spacieux, propre et bien aménagé. La terrasse était un super endroit pour le petit déjeuner. Tout était très calme.

Le restaurant ne propose pas beaucoup d’alternatives ni de dessert pour les enfants, c’est dommage…

Nous avons eu la chance d'être upgradé en Chalet. C'était incroyable. Très bien équipé. Le restaurant est très bon avec une très belle vue.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und erhielten viele Informationen. Unser Häuschen verfügte über ein großes Schlafzimmer mit zwei großen Betten. Im Flur war eine Pantry-Küche mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle sowie die Möglichkeit zur Kaffee- und Teezubereitung. Alles war sehr sauber und das WLAN war sehr gut. Im Restaurant haben wir hervorragendes Essen zum Abend und zum Frühstück genossen.

It's a little bit expensive, but that's what you get for wanting to sleep in the rocky mountains :P

Location was isolated. It was expensive for what you got. Internet was patchy. Serving room was by request. Ended up getting coffee supplies myself from front desk.

Das Bettzeug war schmutzig und voll Haare. Das Bett wurde dann neu angezogen aber das schlechte Gefühl blieb.

Estaba un poco anticuado nuestro bungalow que era el 125. No estaba demasiado limpio. Faltaban muchas cosas en la cocina, sobre todo de cubertería, no había ni para abrir latas, por ejemplo.

Great location away from the crowds in Jasper. Beautiful Mountain Views. Good restaurant and comfortable rooms.

Bathroom was a little bit cramped. Service in the restaurant could have been a bit quicker and more attentive. The dessert selection in the restaurant could have been a little more imaginative and expansive.

Tout à savoir le lit inconfortable qui grince dès qu’on bouge, le canapé en mauvais état, la salle de bain vétuste, la plaque de cuisson installée à l’envers, la table avec seulement deux chaises et la chambre absolument pas adaptée pour 4 personnes. En plus le sol était répugnant, tout était sale

We found the kitchen a bit lacking when it came to cooking. There were no spices ready - usually one finds a set of the basics either left by the owner or previous guests - and utensils were a bit basic too. Manages to cook a simple pasta dish one night. Would have been nice to be notified beforehand that there was a wedding at the restaurant and therefore we would not be able to have dinner there on arrival or breakfast the first morning - we came without any supplies expecting to use the on-site facilities

The area that the facility is built in is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Your staff were all super approachable and friendly.

The "cozy" sitting area was quite uncomfortable. The chairs were hard and not comfortable as described, it would also be useful to have an ottoman. The outdoor seating by the room was also quite uncomfortable. Maybe cushions on the wooden slats could help. The large outdoor sitting area could use some umbrellas so that they could be used in the evening.

Kurz vor dem Jasper National Park liegt diese schöne Unterkunft, mitten in der Natur. Unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet mit Sitzecke und Kamin. Es war sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hinter der Lobby und dem Restaurant gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten mit traumhafter Aussicht, wo wir den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten.

Chalets on property are all Different. Unit 120 was comfortable two bedroom. I would definitely ask the team to get the Kitchen stocked with more updated items for cooking. A cutting board, hot pads, more bowls and pans. Other wise, we loved it

The location with the Mountain View‘s was beautiful. The grounds were very well maintained staff were friendly,the reception area with the fireplace was lovely. We didn’t use a restaurant. We found it very expensive. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly, and the location of our room which was not in the main building was excellent for travelling with a large dog.

When we entered the room, the first thing my dog did was go under the sink and find someone else’s hair tie, which means that it hasn’t been swept out .The bathroom tile besides, the toilet was loose and rocked under your feet when sitting on the toilet. The bathtub was disgusting the jets in the tub had black mould in them, and the edge of the tub was also full of grime .there where dirty marks on the walls in the bathroom ,which we didn’t know what they were Brown and colour yuck. There is no TV or AC, but we should’ve noticed that when booking so that’s our fault. We were so disturbed by cleanliness of the room that we didn’t use the coffee machine for fear it had never been descaled over all the room grossed us out.
