Jasper Gates Resort

Roomy. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker similar to kuric.elwctric water kettle. Coffee, tea ready. Plate bowl utensil includes. Heat and cold appliances. 16 minutes drive to little town. 1 hour drive to Jasper town.

The log cabin are lovely, they contain everything you could need and have good quality furniture and decorations. The huge bed is an extra bonus.

There are some fire pits scattered among the cabins but could do with more as some groups were quite territorial over them. My children and I were making s’mores just for one evening on our nearest pit and were made to feel quite unwelcome by people in two other nearby cabins. This was not the fault of Jasper Gates Resort of course but could be helped by adding some extra pits.

Beautiful accomodation with cosy rooms. Close to Jasper NP (+- 1 hour dive to Jasper town).

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Die Nationalparkgrenze ist ca 3 km entfernt und in die andere Richtung fährt man 15 min ins grössere Hinton, wo man sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat. Nach Jasper Stadt fährt man allerdings 35 min. Auf dem Weg dorthin gibt es aber diverse Highlights wie die Miete Hot Springs oder Wanderungen.

The air conditioner did not work and a bit pricey

Friendly staff and an assortment of products to buy from the lobby. The room was fairly equipped with everything we needed. Also we loved the entry gate, reminded us of Jurassic Park

Eran unas cabañas de buen tamaño y cómodas, con cocina, mesa y calefacción. Al lado de las cabañas hay un espacio donde hacer fuego y pasar una buena velada.

Nuestra habitación no olía bien y necesitamos ventilarla bastante tiempo. A nuestros amigos, que tenían la reserva hecha desde hacía meses, les indicaron que debían cambiar de cabaña al mitad de estancia. Están próximas a la carretera.

Het personeel, de bedden waren top. Ruime kamers, schoon. Top verblijf gehad.

De locatie is ver rijden naar het park, maar daar waren wij van op de hoogte.

Insgesamt eine sehr nette, gut organisierte Anlage. Alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Häuschen sind sehr gut ausgestattet und alles ist penibel sauber. Wir waren dei Nächte dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Es gibt nichts zu meckern :)

We were looking for a place to stay near Jasper, AB, but were rather late making reservations so we booked the camper at Jasper Gates. It was a fun change from a regular stay and we enjoyed it. The main setback was the small size of the bathroom but, hey, we were staying in a camper so we expected it! We traveled about 40 - 45 minutes to Jasper (we were informed prior to booking of this) but the scenery along the way made the journey seem shorter. It was a bit of a small adventure to stay here but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

The swimming pool, water slides, and jacuzzi are amazing. The water is cold though.

We had accommodation in Jasper cancelled last minute and had to stay at Jasper gates. It worked out really well as the mitie springs are excellent and we were forced to travel later in the day and earlier in the morning which was great for wildlife spotting. It’s a bit further out but it was very clean and safe and great for a family on a budget. Would recommend.

All good for the price paid.

The resort was great. We liked everything: it was simple but well thought out, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Miette hot springs are a short drive from the hotel.

It is about 40 min drive from Jasper town. The hotel is however very transparent about it.

Ja, die Lage ist ca. 45 min Autofahrt von der Stadt Jasper entfernt und am Highway - was soll's. Toll die weitläufige Anlage, mit Campingplatz und Hütten sowie den Appartements, dazu Parkmöglichkeiten. Und Spielmöglichkeiten, nicht nur für Kinder. Es gab eine Art Garage mit Spielsachen zum Wegnehmen und wieder Einräumen, dazu einen aufblasbaren Pool mit Rutsche (für Kinder). Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im direkter Nachbarschaft Mini-Brauerei mit Restaurant und Pizzabäcker, top. Unser Appartement hell und freundlich, sauber und ordentlich.

Unser Appartement hatte Betten für insgesamt 8 Personen. Dafür war das Geschirr zu knapp und es fehlten wirklich große Töpfe. Gab auch keine mehr zum Ausleihen etc.

This was the 2nd time staying here. The staff is always friendly. Its comfortable and clean. We havent had an issue with anything. I just wish they had wifi somewhere other than the main building where you check in but we knew that prior to staying. They have down a lot of upgrades since we stayed 11 months ago.

The location isnt the greatest for the Natuonal park but we just make sure if were going to Jasper we do everything in 1 day then spend the other days doing things outside the park.

Hele nieuwe en schone ruimte waar goed is nagedacht over de inrichting. Je kunt er ontbijten, maar niet koken. Fijn daarom dat er ook een goed restaurant naast is. In Hinton (15 min rijden) kun je boodschappen doen

Heel vreemd dat er geen glazen en kopjes in de keuken zijn, terwijl we wel bestek en borden en schaaltjes zijn

Bedden (queen is veel te smal voor 2 volwassenen) slecht verlicht op terrein, geen wifi, maar ook nauwelijks 4g bereik. Zeer luidruchtige airco, maar te benauwd om zonder te slapen.

Sarebbe stato comodo avere un servizio di lavanderia e Wi-Fi disponibile anche nel lodge

Attention, c’est à 46km de Jasper. Prévoir 40min de route pour rejoindre Jasper.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great to tackle Jasper park. The site was beautiful and relaxing.

Cabins were not super clean, but good enough.

Perfect for a 3 night stop off (2ad & 2 teens) in the motel, really lovely resort. Rooms had everything we needed. Great brewery food & drink, & pizza van just nextdoor.

Fine for us as we knew ahead of time, but this is nearer to Hinton than Jasper, but still a great location for exploring both & everything in between!

La posizione è abbastanza lontana da Jasper, nelle vicinanze c'è un solo locale dove poter andare, ma queste le sapevamo già in fase di prenotazione ed era molto chiaro. Il complesso è comunque carino, immerso nella natura e ben organizzato. Le stanze spaziose.

Avevamo prenotato per 3 persone e di pronto c'era solo il letto matrimoniale, il divano letto abbiamo dovuto farlo completamente noi. Il wifi non arrivava fino alla nostra camera, si doveva uscire e fare una ventina di metri perchè prendesse. E la tv non funzionava tolto la radio.

Camera spaziosa e cucina abbastanza attrezzata. Piccolo dolore all’esterno. In un’ora si arriva a Jasper.

Materasso e letto un po’ scomodo (forse troppo vecchio e usato)

Fun environment. Cabin was great. Good location just outside of Jasper.

Near a highway so you hear cars rip by from your property often. This distracts from the beautiful area.

Eine tolle Anlage, alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ganz nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Auch Geschirr, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank vorhanden. Viele Spielangebote für Kinder in jedem Alter auf den Gelände. Gegenüber den Aussagen in der Booking-Beschreibung hatten wir auch ausgezeichneten WLAN Empfang.

Die Entfernung zu den Highlights im Nationalpark ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Durch eine aktuelle Baustelle auf dem Highway im Nationalpark haben wir in Summe schon ein paar zusätzliche Stunden auf der Straße zugebracht.

One thing I don’t like is it’s very hot and almost every one every night put on the fire pits with some kind of kerosene the smell was very bad 🙀

We thought that it was in Jasper and it wasn’t until we had paid that it said it was in Hinton and the payment was non refundable!

Super nice cabins and very friendly staff. Location is perfect dor exploring the park. The area is not affected by the 2024 fire.

Logement très agréable, personnel très sympathique. Le cadre est très calme malgré une grande route à proximité. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait dans la chambre pour se faire à manger rapidement, très pratique. Le logement est à 45mn de Jasper mais la route est très belle avec beaucoup de belvédères. Il n'y a pas de wifi dans les chambres mais il y a du réseau donc ce n'est pas dérangeant, cela permet de déconnecter.

It was our first time there. We really liked it. Great location. Wonderful staff, clean beds, and the cottage has everything you need—dishes, towels, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator. Parking is nearby. The only thing is a little noise from cars because there’s a highway nearby. I highly recommend this place; we’ll definitely be back.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the motel loft apartment which was spacious, cool. Limited kitchen but fine for what we needed. Lots of activities for kids. Brewery next door was great for food and drink.

Curtains rather than doors between bedrooms so not great on sound proofing.

Mon fils a oublié ses airpods sous son coussin. Nous les avons contacté car ils étaient localisé là bas... presque 3 jours pour répondre... mon message était en français mais il existe des moyens... Bref...comme pas hasard rien vu, mais ils sont localisés chez eux!!!

The room was really large and well-supplied with silverware, bowls, plates, refrigerator, coffee, and tea. I think there was a microwave - we didn’t use it. We always saw animals driving back and forth - elk, deer, and mountain goats.

It was a 45 min drive to Jasper. I knew that when I booked it, but it was a bit of a drive at the end of the day. The good part is that we always saw animals.

Ubicacion en plena naturaleza y a pie de carretera, muy cerca de los baños termales, trato genial con el personal e instalaciones muy completas.

Schoon en eenvoudig maar voldoende comfortabel huisje. Er was een goed bed en voldoende handdoeken.

De huisjes zijn nogal gehorig. De keukenkraan lekte en sommige douchekopgaatjes waren verstopt waardoor het water in je gezicht sproeide. De bank was wat smoezelig en hard. Het park ligt aan een doorgaande weg dus je hoort de auto's langsrazen.

It was a lovely place to stay but a bit further from Jasper than we anticipated and a bit of doubling back travel wise

It was clean, and had all the needed supplies, in the kitchen and bathroom.

Es war netter Campingplatzflair. Zimmer geräumig und in Ordnung. War alles da, was wir brauchten. Tolle Tips an der Rezeption bekommen, die über die klassischen 'Must see in Jasper' hinausgehen.

Hatten das Zimmer zum Highway, da waren schon früh morgens die Trucks unterwegs. Aber so ist es ja aber den meisten Unterkünften dort.

It’s a great little place to stay. Just off the highway but you don’t hear it. So close to the national park. I’d definitely recommend it and go back myself if I were ever there again

We got upgraded to the room with a view and a loft. It was an awesome room. Beautiful view, had everything we needed. Good beds. Quiet. Not too far from Hinton which had all the restaurants and stores you need.

Wir waren begeistert von den vielen Feuerstellen und den zahlreichen Gasgrills zwischen den Häusern. Das war super, so dass wir fast täglich gegrillt haben. Alles sehr sauber und notwendige vorhanden. Die Häuschen sind klein aber mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Direkt anschließend ist auch ein Restaurant, falls man nicht selbst kochen möchte. Ein Spielplatz mit Basketball Korb ist auch vorhanden.

Die Anlage liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, was vor allen Nachts recht laut ist.

Lodge feel and decent size

Room wasnt cleaned despite leaving the 'Please clean my room tag', no vent for the toilet to external space, bed covers had dust mites, room lacked adequate cooling given it was a warm day

Was een mooie locatie, schoonr en vriendellijke mensen.

We hadden de pech dat er een gezin met 5 jonge kinderen in het appartement boven ons zaten. Het zijn houten appartementen en heel gehorig.
