Welcoming and helpful staff, especially Chandra and Junior. The rooms are very comfortable and the air conditioning were excellent. The views from the room and restaurants fo the beach/ sea were excellent.

We have just returned from the fabulous Coconut Court. Such a lovely hotel staff are so friendly and so helpful. Rooms are super clean, breakfast at Cocos with lovely staff. The lovely lady in gift shop. The only problem was Jake’s there was seven of us we had to return undercooked food and service was not good. One evening we waited nearly an hour for drinks. We will be returning and it would be lovely if Cocos or Charlie’s would open in evening. Thank you Coconut Court you should be very proud of yourselves.
Conveniently located for access to Caribbean advantage which I was there for an exam
The restaurant staff totally spoilt my stay One in particular in the upper restaurant was unpleasant, made it feel like she was doing you a favour by serving us Just the way she spoke to us was not nice and I will not be back because of this It has a nice relaxed restaurant location but this service you will not want to sit at the restaurant
friendly staff
Room was in the appendix on the other side of the road and wifi did not work
The staff were great special thankyou to the girls that welcomed us I’m so sorry I didn’t take your names but we arrived on the 1st of August Saturday afternoon around 16:30 so all the girls at the desk that day and time top tier staff so friendly such a great welcome!! It was the best boost after an 8hour flight to see their smiles and there kindness for us! Our Kadooment costumes were dropped off and they kindly called us and kept it at the desk just in general the whole team was lovely throughout our stay! Always helpful when we asked questions. We will be back!
That we couldn’t stay longer 😂
We have been to Coconut Court several times, and will return again . The staff is always very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the view breathtaking. Keep in mind there are no elevators, but first floor rooms are available. We went in the slow season so Coco's restaurant was opened for breakfast and lunch but closed for dinner. Jake's right across the street was available for dinner and part of the all inclusive package. If not on the all inclusive packable the dinner prices were reasonable. The hotel bars also close early, so not much night life. There are many restaurants and a grocery stores just minutes away via taxi or busses. The taxi ride from the airport was roughly 20/30 minutes, cost $35 US dollars. There is also a little store across the street from the hotel. They have beer, soda, wine , snacks, limited medicines and in the AM meat pies (yum). We have been to Barbados many, many times and have never been disappointed. So you know, given the time of year and mother nature you may run into massive amounts of seaweed washed up on the beach. Keep in mind the hotel has no control over this. We had one day of terrible seaweed and it was gone the next day. So be patient. I recommend using "Fast Track" for the airport arrival available through Trip Advisor. Well worth the cost. Overall the island is safe and welcoming and totally worth a visit. Until next time our beautiful Island!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The beachfront room view was stunning, and the beach itself was great. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved our visit to Coconut Court! This is a great option for families and folks looking for an affordable vacation spot. The superior ocean view rooms are very comfortable and generally well kept. If you have kids, strollers, mobility devices, or lots of luggage, be warned that there is no elevator to access the upper floor rooms. You will also need to negotiate stairs to access the pool and beach restaurant. The beach is beautiful and the water is lovely and warm. A few mins walk west down the shore there is also a beautiful little clear shallow bay (adjacent to a neighbouring 4 star resort, but the beaches are for everyone!). A short walk east is the Rockley beach boardwalk. Food at Coconut Court is decent but not spectacular. There are lots of fast food and fine dining restaurants around. There is parking at Coconut Court if you rent a car. Definitely will return — thank you to the lovely staff, especially manager Sophia!
Beautiful place
We had an amazing experience at this hotel. Stayed two weeks celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The room was big, clean and nice. Beds are comfortable and nice to have a fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and kettle. We stayed in room 96, with our own patio and it was right at the end so no one walked past us. All the staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. We had a candle light dinner at the beach, the food was amazing and it was so romantic! The beach has soft white sand. Some stones to get past when you get in but they aren't sharp. There is a small reef just outside with lots of fish to look at while snorkling. We saw both a turtle and a ray. Only thing I can say is that it is not suitable for smaller children as it is a bit steep to get down to the water and then it's up to your waist fairly quickly. Older children had no problem with what we saw. The pool is nice and deep, but hardly ever used it as the beach is right there The breakfast menu has a wide variety of choices to order from. And Captain Charlies offers a nice lunch menu and good drinks. Lots of beach chairs both on the beach and by the pool. Your room is cleaned every day which we appreciated as we kept dragging lots of sand with us inside despite rinsing our feet. There is a bus stop right outside the gates and so easy to go into Bridgetown or anywhere else you want to go. The Boardwalk is just a short distance to the west you can easily go along the beach to reach it, although you might have to take your shoes off at high tide. There are several restaurants within walking distance, within 2km. Both fast food and nice dining. We often walked the boardwalk to get to them. We can really recommend this amazing place and if we ever come back to Barbados we are definitely booking this place again.
Good staff, good food , excellent service, some of the friendliest folks that we have had the pleasure of being around in a long time
My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in April after cruising for a week. The hotel is in a great location on a lovely beach with plenty of shade from trees. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff at reception and we were given a token to have a free drink which we used in Charlie’s bar which is just off the beach. We stayed in an ocean view room which was large, clean and comfortable. Food was excellent in both Charlie’s bar Coco’s and Jake’s across the road from hotel. Breakfast was served in Coco’s overlooking the beach which was absolutely stunning. They held entertainment at lunchtime on some days in Charlie’s bar and also at Coco’s in the evening. This hotel is in an ideal location to eating and drinking places. A local bus runs outside the hotel that goes from Bridgetown to Ostins through out the day. They’re a must to experience!! We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but I have to say this hotel has to be the friendliest place we’ve ever been. We just felt every member of staff wanted our custom. We were always greeted with a friendly smile. You can tell it’s a family run hotel. At the end of our week we felt relaxed and didn’t want to leave. To sum it up if you want a clean, friendly safe hotel in an ideal location, this is the place to be. I say safe because there was security at the entrance of carpark and down on the beach. If I was to come back to Barbados I would definitely look into booking here again. Thank you Coconut Court for the best relaxing holiday my husband and I have ever had.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coconut Court Beach Hotel! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everyone made us feel so welcome and at home. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, but we’d especially like to give a huge shout-out to Amanda, Miss Kim, and the best security officer ever, Mr. Jones. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our vacation even more memorable. They always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The beautiful beach, relaxing pool, delicious breakfast, and warm Bajan hospitality made this a trip we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return to our little slice of paradise. Thank you, Coconut Court, for an amazing vacation. See you again soon!
Great location, lovely atmosphere,we stayed in the annex 1 bed apartment which was well equipped for all our needs. As always our stay is as cheap or expensive as we choose depending on what we do. Hotel is very clean and tidy. We were told before our arrival to expect some noise as renovations were happening this was minimal and didn’t affect us as we were out during the day. There are activities to book if you wish. The resteraunts coco’s ,Charlie’s bar and jake’s across the road offer good variety on the menu. This was our 10th time on the island and 2nd at this hotel tbh I don’t think I’d choose any other hotel for my future visits as this offers all we need to enjoy our stays. I’m looking forward to returning next year and seeing the lovely staff that are always ready to greet us
Lovely hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the boardwalk with lots of lovely restaurants. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Hotels are much of a muchness. The staff here stands out, they are very friendly; they all spoke to us each time we passed them, really engaging, even at night. Mentioned that it was my birthday when we checked in and when we returned from snorkeling, there was a very lovely suprise left in our room for me (see photos). They just put effort into our stay and we valued that very much. The tour desk assistant was superb. She had great ideas, was very helpful and made immediate calls to ask questions about what we wanted. The location though is first class, the best option on the island. You are near the boardwalk strip of beaches, you're walking distance to Lanterns Mall, Blakes, you are one bus ride to Oistins, you're walking distance, if you're adventurous, to Bridgetown, you can walk to the horse race track and you can definitely walk to Pebbles Beach and Carlisle Bay beach. This location offers just about everthing. The beaches on this end aren't the best, but you are not far from Carlisle Bay. Several buses go by taking you to Bridgetown, Silver Sands, even a bus direclty to Speighstown which goes past Hole Bay. Oh, the welcome drink on arrival 😍
This was our first time back in Barbados and the Coconut Court since our honeymoon 29 years ago and it didn't disappoint. The staff are wonderful , always friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We stayed in an Ocean view room which had fantastic views of the hotel's beach . We spent most of our time on the beach. it has plenty of sunbeds and shade and the beach bar is excellent. The food in all three restaurants is nice and reasonably priced and the hotel is very close to plenty of other restaurants ands bars within walking distance or a short bus/ZR van ride . We did Ted's Tours island tour. Ted's family own the hotel and his tours are not to missed . He also does snorkeling trips with his son Lee. Both were highlights of our stay. A wonderful family owned hotel , we can't recommend highly enough.
Honest review/ All Inclusive The hotel is great. The location is very nice. Bus stop right outside, you can walk to board walk and the boardwalk bars. The main hotel is facing the sea, the little apartments are across the road. I had an apartment – it was perfect, fridge with ice and tap water to drink good aircon and plenty of space. Room cleaned daily. Beach towels and toiletries provided. If you can – pay to upgrade to the ocean view rooms. The beach area is really nice, you can walk along the beach there is plenty of space with both shade and full sun. Loads of sun loungers available. Yes the sea is a little rocky – but just bring rock shoes. When I was there in May there was A LOT of seaweed so it did not look ideal, but you could still swim beyond it. Pool area also nice with loungers, seats and bar stools. All the food there was so good and the frozen cocktails, wine and beer was great. I went all inclusive as I was traveling solo, which I recommend but here are a few tips to be aware about AI as they do not explain this well. Breakfast is: only 1 item from the menu, 1 juice, 1 black tea or black coffee, lattes etc is pay only. Once day I also ordered an extra bowl of fruit and it cost me €17 – crazy prices. Black coffee can be obtained from the bar in the morning time. The beach bar Charlies – when it opens – rather than signing your ticket for each drink order ‘open a tab’ and sign one ticket at lunch. E.g. I would get a coffee in the morning, a few sodas, then a cocktail and beer and food at lunch and just sign one ticket then. For the afternoon if you are having a few drinks do the same thing. Lunch and dinner was great, very tasty and lots of choice. 2 courses at lunch and 3 at dinner. Plus drinks. I think you also get some credit to use at Jakes across the road – ask about this. I ate there one night, I loved it, very good service, nice atmosphere and great food. The staff seem a bit uninterested and indifferent, they are not rude and the service is fine – if a bit slow, but I was expecting more of a warm welcome. Overall it’s a great place. Very good value as the island as a whole is expensive. They can order you taxis there (probably cheaper than Uber) and organise tours. All prices in Barbados are either in Barbados or US dollars. I had to exchange euro currency which was not the best rate. Also I had a late evening flight, ask to book the courtesy room to shower before you go. Its perfect – shower, soap, towels, mirror etc
A return visit to one of the best priced, well located and nicest places to stay in Barbados. Excellent rooms, fully equipped with all you need to make the most of your time here. Constantly cleaned, very efficient and friendly staff be it on your arrival to making great food and drinks at Charlie's beach bar or in the main Coco's restaurant. The breakfast package is definitely recommended, plenty of well done choices that set you up for the day. The beach is superb, you feel safe, relaxed and comfortable and nothing is too much for the security guys either setting up the beach chairs with a smile or just having a pleasant chat. Trips are easily booked through the activities desk, the little shop is good and nothing is too far away. So glad we decided to return again, here's to the next time.
We stayed an entire week and came to realize what a gem Coconut Court was compared to other properties we saw on the island. Our premium (renovated) room had a private balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The room was adequately spacious, laid out like many business hotels. Nice TV, fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker (no coffee), and kettle. Great shower and hot water. A convenience store was nearby. The beach was beautiful and quiet with plenty of beach chairs, although not as calm and clear as Pebble or Carlisle Beaches. The restaurants and beach bar were okay. Jake's across the street was excellent and fun. The location is midway between the boardwalk strip of beach bars and the Bridgetown garrison area, but walking on highway 7 is not easy because of poor sidewalks and traffic. But there are stops for the fun local buses just outside the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value and excellent choice for
We just came back from Barbados. We stayed at Coconut Court Beach Hotel. It was awesome! Other areas were having problems with the sea grass on the beach, but not ours. The staff was helpful and kind. The food was great. The rooms are pretty basic, but we were not there to sit in the room. The beach was fantastic. There is even a small snorkel area. If you use the pullout sofa as a bed, ask for a lot if extra padding. Go to Harrison's Cave, The Boatyard at Carlisle Bay, Debbie's at Oistins Fish Fry, take some time to check out Bridgetown. I wish we would have done a little more of it.
Lovely stay at the family run hotel The staff and family make it feel like home from home Location is excellent fir Carlisle bay and the bars restaurants and facilities of the south coast
Just had a great stay at Coconut Court Hotel! Check-in was quick and easy, and the concierge team was incredibly helpful throughout my trip. The location is fantastic — right on the beach with beautiful views and easy access to the water. I also loved having plenty of dining options right at the resort, which made everything super convenient. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay, plus it’s right in front of a bus stop which made it so easy to take public transit :)
A protein item was unavailable for the preferred breakfast option and the hotel was unwilling to substitute another protein at no additional cost, although breakfast was included in my stay.
When you stay in a hotel for the first time, you always hope that it's value for money and the Coconut Court did not disappoint. I loved this hotel. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the reception and concierge team. There aren't any lifts but someone (usually Junior) is on hand to help you with the luggage. My room was wonderful. Beachfront with a little patio area and easy access to the pool, beach and restaurant. Back to the hotel itself; food is lovely, well stocked bar and there's always some sort of entertainment in the evening. There's a shop on site to get souvenirs, drinks and other bits and pieces. Staff are friendly, and polite and there is a security team in place also. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel and in a fantastic location.

Location Beach Most staff Big room
Noise from the road and busses could be heard loudly in the room. Constduction work from neighboring hotel to be heard on the beach while trying to sunbathe. Portion of breakfast saltfish was way to small, served in a little ramekin which is usually for ketchup.
Excellent accommodations! Always lovely staying at Coconut Court. It is a home away from home! Everything you need at your fingertips.
We stayed for five nights and were very happy with our room, the staff, and overall experience. We had a room on ground floor and could open the back door and walk to the pool and beach. The rum punch is excellent and the food was decent too. I ended up having the vegetable and pesto wrap 3 times. Location is good with the sipping room in walkable distance. Use pickup app for your taxis and go to Saint Lawrence gap, Oistins fish fey etc. a great option for Barbados
Great meet and greet, nice bar, good breakfast
Family own and run hotel amazing staff when you want to relax call blank canvas the spa their massages are 100 bajan dollars for one full hour so relaxing
Wonderful family holiday in this unspoilt location. The food delicious, the staff very helpful and lovely, the beach was beautiful, relaxing, private. Would definitely return….
The stay was absolutely amazing, from start to finish,we had all inclusive,The meals we was served and able to eat was excellent quality and a joy to eat,The staff were so friendly and efficient it was a delight and made our stay a joy,I feel we made some great new friends in the staff, the staff treat you like family and will giggle and joke with you I love this because it made us feel so relaxed, the service of the waiters and waitresses was so good, all I can say is no matter if it’s front of house or cooks or cleaners and bar staff and waiters/waitresses they were all brilliant, don’t look at negatives because this is by far the most freindly hotel we’ve been too, thankyou guys and gals your forever freinds,Clive anthea Josh and Ilana
The hotel staff were second to none and exceptional. They made our holiday with their friendliness, attention to detail care and consideration, they never said No to anything
Nothing!!!
Fantastic location with room views overlooking the sea. White sandy beach and plenty of sunbeds. Staff are very friendly, attentive and food is excellent. We went on b&b basis but didn't eat until early evening after a big breakfast. Breakfast is served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. Just a few minutes walk from the boardwalk with plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from. The reggae bus stops right outside for your journey to the gap or Oistin.
We had a great stay at C Court, with no real negatives, only our room needs an update, it's great location with good access to public transport and staff very helpful.
Coconut Court hotel gives you that warming satisfaction that you should get with all holidays, but very rarely get. The vibe is beautifully relaxed with a great feel good factor. It does what it says on the tin.
Beautiful setting Friendly staff Very comfortable, nothing too much trouble. Knowledgeable and helpful. Great food and drinks. Nothing to dislike.
Really comfortable beds, spacious rooms and the views from the balcony are amazing. Fantastic to be right on the beach and the option of a pool too. Food is delicious and the entertainment in the evenings is good too!
We have had a fantastic time at Coconut Court and will definitely be returning. The room is large with huge bed, amazing views of the beach - we were room 90 on top floor. There is a fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave in the rooms. The food has been lovely - we were room only option but had breakfast a couple of times & a couple of meals and snacks. Location is perfect, we walked along boardwalk most mornings and evenings and also to Pebbles beach, Carlisle Bay & Boatyard. It was fairly quiet and low key on an evening but had singers on but we went out most nights - highly recommend
This is a lovely hotel, my main criticism is that, when we booked, our travel agent requested a ground floor room as I have back problems. My husband then followed this up with an email but we were allocated a first floor room with 2 flights of stairs. We would gladly have paid more for a ground floor but felt that the desk staff had a somewhat take it or leave it attitude on our arrival, we then found we had several flights to get down to the restaurant and the beach, every day was a work out for my back!. Our view was over the roof of the reception so couldn’t really see the sea however, it was large, very clean and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We appreciated the fluffy towels and the large blue beach ones. Had a slight problem over replenishment but that was sorted out quickly. We were bed and breakfast so could only choose one item from the menu which we felt was a bit odd, however we soon found out what we liked and stuck with that. The staff were kept very busy and probably a bit short staffed as, on several days, some of the management team helped out. However they were hardworking and cheerful and remembered what we liked We used Jake’s several times over the 2 weeks and it’s quite reasonably priced. We also used the Z buses which was quite an experience but the guys were really kind and helped me off (harder than getting on!). We also ate at Buzo, Tapas, and Champers plus Oistins on a Thursday! The beach was good and my husband enjoyed snorkelling and he also went on a short trip to Carlyle Bay with Ted’s son Lee where he saw turtles. Ted’s tour was a definite highlight and we thoroughly recommend it if you visit here, he’s very entertaining! We loved Barbados and wish we’d visited earlier when we were a bit younger and would definitely come back if funds allow.
The location of the hotel was perfect. With Jakes bar over the road + a couple of restaurants, a small supermarket, even a hardware shop. Although the hotel is on a busy road, it could get a bit loud at times. But it didn't really bother us, as we weren't in our room that much. Our room was very spacious, clean and the kitchenette was very useful. The balcony and the view was amazing 👏 to wake up every morning looking over the swimming pool, beach, palm trees and the sea. What can I say. 👌 The whole complex was just right for a relaxing holiday. Although it's classed as a three* I wouldn't want to go any where else.
Just absolutely stunning. Loved everything about it. Staff were all so lovely, food was incredible, atmosphere was so relaxing. We felt very safe. Sea was clear and take a mask/snorkel with you (and we took a GoPro) as they have a wee reef with loads of fish. We will absolutely be back!
Excellently situated hotel. Away from the noise of St.Lawrence's Gap but close enough to access if needed. There are plenty of restaurants an easy walk away and Bridgetown is a short ZR trip away. The hotel's restaurant and bar are a great alternative if you don't want to go out. The hotel has access to a gorgeous beach with a safe area to swim. Staff are consistently helpful and friendly. We loved it and would recommend without reservation,
We booked this hotel for a family holiday after reading all the fabulous reviews. The reviews were correct it’s such a lovely place to stay. Immaculate rooms, a lovely restaurant with great food, excellent beach bar for snacks and drinks all done with a smile from the hardworking staff. We also really enjoyed the entertainment from live singers, karaoke, mixology class, movies on the beach and my personal favourite the sax player at the managers cocktail party. This hotel is privately owned and the owners are discreet but make it their business to chat and learn a little about their guests, a rarity in today’s corporate world. We also enjoyed how easy it is to get around the island from Hastings where the hotel is situated. A Bus stop across the road and ZR’s every few minutes. We’re home now after a fabulous time and will most definitely book coconut court next time we visit barbados.
The Government buses and ZR mini vans stop right outside the hotel (costs $BDS 3.50) and the trip to the capital is about 15 mins away.
We were delighted with our ten day stay and the professionalism and consideration of the staff. It is an ideal place to stay on the island and excellent value for money. While crime is not a problem there was discrete security which was reassuring. The food was excellent. Great ribs. It was the kind of hotel that you could stay without having to go out if you wanted, but of course Barbados has many things to recommend. We would advise people to visit the wonderful Museum, Andromeda Gardens, Welchman Hall Gully and Walkers Reserve - all are fortunately off the cruise ship tours.
Just had 10 days at this hotel and I honestly cannot fault it. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the hotel is kept impeccably clean. We had a superior ocean front room which was spacious, modern, comfy, good ceiling fan and Aircon and a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. Pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds. No one is trying to reserve them which is great. Pool looks out over sea. Food and drinks are good both in main restaurant and Charlie's beach bar. I will make the comment that Jake's which is across the road and technically part of the hotel I have not included in this review. We ate and drank twice there and was disappointed. Food was ok but cold both times and service poor. None of this takes away from an amazing holiday and hotel. Thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to make our stay pleasurable.
Location and beach. Rooms were lovely. Sea view was good. Most staff were lovely and went over and above to help
Exterior decor Accessibility was poor for those with mobility problems Not all staff could work Bar TV Very rude deputy manager Service at food tables was slow esp when we had a large group. Sadly food at Charlie’s in the evening was very average which was disappointing
Nicer inside than outside. Some staff wonderful. Lovely beach front location. Not good for those with mobility
Location
Old dated not welcoming
Went back here after 6 years and Had a lovely time Barbados is very special The beach is beautiful The weather is just right Lots of choice to eat and drink nearby The buses are good fun Everyone in the hotel is friendly and helpful And I hope we can return
Spent a week at Coconut Court Beach Hotel as a family of six. We booked two superior rooms with stunning views of the beach and sea. The only downside to both rooms was the sofa bed. The main bed was a comfortable king sized bed but the sofa bed was anything but comfortable. I wasn’t expecting the sofa bed to be anything like the main bed but would have expected it to have at least been sturdy enough to hold a small child. Unfortunately both sofa beds in both rooms were missing springs and anyone sitting on the bottom of the beds fell through the gaps and became trapped. One of the sofa beds was repaired on the second night but this only involved moving a spring or two into another area of the bed and did little to improve the stability. I have had more comfortable nights sleeping on the floor whilst camping. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable and room service attended everyday to tidy round and change towels and linen. The pool and private beach were simply stunning. Everything was clean and it was clear great care was taken to ensure guests had everything they needed to feel relaxed and cared for. There are two restaurants to choose from and a beach bar. Food was great and a number of theme nights were held whilst we were there. Prices were reasonable and had something for everyone. By far the biggest plus for the hotel was the staff. Every member of staff encountered were friendly and welcoming. They took time to get to know each guest and even had our coffee and fruit juice waiting for us every morning when we went for breakfast. Also kept glasses topped up with water and couldn’t do enough for you. My only disappointment (after the sofa beds) was when it came to settling room charges. The hotel did not accept cash at its bars or restaurant and encouraged everything to be charged to your room. I’m not a fan of this as I like to keep a track of what I am spending and can see how some may spend more money that they intended by doing this. There was also the option of paying by credit/debit card. We used both options but the real problems came when attending reception to pay the room charges. We did this a couple of days before we were due to checkout as I wanted to ensure we were keeping to budget and did not want to be sorting out any issues when leaving for the airport. You can pay the room charges with cash or card. We had paid for a bed a breakfast package when booking but on some days the cost of breakfast had been added to the room charges. Not a big problem as the hotel staff were able to remove these but it did seem to take them quite a while to do. Anyway after removing the breakfast charges we settled the bill and went about our day. We returned when it was time to check out and asked to settle any room charges incurred for the day an a half after we had last settled up. To our shock the bill was much larger than expected. Again there were errors charged to the room which were removed but there were also charges the hotel stated had been occurred at the start of the holiday which had been delayed in processing and not included on the original charges settled earlier in the week. We were given print outs of all the charges but this was extremely confusing and had lots of charges added and removed. One charge for 14,000 Barbados dollars had been added and removed and the staff could not explain what this was. We spent almost an hour and a half trying to sort this out and I am still not sure the extra charges are correct. It gave the feeling the hotel were just making things up as they went along. In hindsight if I encounter anything like this again I would ensure I had a receipt/screenshot for each charge so I could keep an accurate tally for myself. It’s a shame about the charging system because it tainted what would have been a perfect Easter break.
Excellent location close to amenities and bus stops into Bridgetown/ St Lawrence Gap. Ideal base to explore the island. When we checked in we got an extra nice surprise that we had an upgraded room to an ocean view. I was celebrating my 40th birthday and the hotel laid on a lovely birthday surprise for me. The rooms we had were spotless with beach towels changed every few days. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they organised an airport transfer for us and were able to provide details of where we could get essential groceries.
The location was good with plenty of restaurants and bars with live music. The atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant surroundings based on the beach with free sunbeds. The rooms were lovely but you would need to bring/buy you own tea coffee soft drinks. The restaurant was great for breakfast and there was a bar in the beach serving drink and food. We had a very relaxing holiday there.
Stayed at Coconut Court a few years back, before COVID, and liked it, so thought we’d see how it was doing now. Quick, friendly check-in, and one of the gentlemen helped with our luggage to our room, which was one level down. We had asked for a lower room, as there is no elevator, and lots of stairs. There were some problems with the new electronic keys, and they had to be replaced a couple of times the first day. We had a Superior Ocean Front Room this time, and I’m not quite clear on the difference between it and the Ocean View room we had last time, but very comfortable, and a lovely view. (Unfortunately, the complimentary bottle of rum punch and the 25% off meal coupon are a thing of the past, I guess.) We found it a bit hard to regulate the room temperature, as very cold when the AC is blasting, and too warm when it’s off. Can’t leave the balcony door open without a screen. We found it best just using the fan overnight. Bed and pillows were comfy, and they had the fluffiest towels. Walk-in shower is nice and big, tile a little slippery. There is a nice rainfall shower. There was decent water pressure, and enough warm water. There is a small fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and basic dishes, so after a trip to Massey, we enjoyed having our breakfast on the balcony. Appreciate the safe in the room. We only asked for housekeeping a couple of times, and they did a good job. The pool area is lovely, and rarely very busy. Always able to get a lounger. And we enjoyed the cute orange hotel cat, Tigger, who hangs around there, waiting to be fed. The beach itself is gorgeous, sandy, very warm water. There are lots of palm trees and umbrellas for shade, and didn’t have problems getting loungers. People are always coming and going. The first part of the beach entering the water was very rocky this time, and we could barely walk in. We did end up purchasing beach shoes at Coco Express Gift Shop, and it was well worth it. With the breakwater that the hotel has put in, we could go out every day and snorkel safely, and see loads of fish. The gift shop is very handy for all kinds of items, and the ladies running it are so helpful and kind. Enjoyed the Managers’ Rum Punch Party around the pool, along with some nice appetizers. Vada at the activity desk was helpful making plans. They change money at the front desk, and will order taxis. During our 8 days, we had many meals at Captain Charlie’s Beach Bar, Coco’s Beachside Restaurant and Jake’s, and it’s very convenient to have options onsite. We found the food was good, there is generally adequate staff, and they are all very pleasant and friendly, but a lot of time is spent standing around, so service can be slow. The recurring theme over all the restaurants is disorganization. Some lack of knowledge of the menu. Sometimes took 2 or 3 tries to get the correct order. No one comes back to check how things are, offer coffee, dessert or another drink. Can then take a couple of times to get the correct bill. Location is very good, close to Bridgetown and other attractions. Try the ZR van to get around - only $3.50 BDS, and always an experience. All in all, this was a great second stay! .
We had an outstanding stay at this hotel and would absolutely return. From check-in to dining to security, every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive—it truly made the experience stand out. The amenities were fantastic, with daily entertainment and activities that gave us plenty to do without ever leaving the property. The on-site restaurant offered convenient and tasty options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the bar was perfect for grabbing drinks and small bites throughout the day. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach with direct access to the boardwalk, making it easy to explore or just relax by the water. One of the highlights was the small reef nearby, which provided hours of fun snorkeling right off the shore. They’ve also thought of everything with a well-stocked gift shop for any essentials you might forget. Overall, this is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for convenience, comfort, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Our first trip to Barbados and Coconut Court exceeded our expectations. Beautiful beach with plenty of lounge chairs and the reef provided great snorkeling. Clean and well maintained property with pleasant and helpful staff. We look forward to returning.
We did Sunday Lunch for Easter. The hotel was very clean, the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lunch was delicious with many choices. The entertainment was culturally centered and the cast was talented and engaging. We will definitely go there again!
Super Lage direkt an weißsandigem Palmen-Strand.
We had a great time, we’ll be back! Not liking that I have to have 100 characters here. That’s a really dumb rule you’re forcing people to say things.
Coconut Court Beach Hotel is a small, friendly, family-run place in a fantastic location. Don’t expect glitzy, modern luxury — but do expect a clean, comfortable hotel that’s very well looked after. We had a ground-floor Deluxe Ocean Front Room and the view was incredible. Being on the ground floor turned out to be a win — no stairs (no lifts here) and quick access to the pool, restaurant, and beach. Pre-paid breakfast package was good value. You still sign a daily bill with a 10% service charge — we were happy to keep it as a tip for the excellent staff. Freshly cooked breakfasts were a big plus over buffet chaos. We ate at Coco’s and Jake’s Bar (both part of the hotel) — good food, good service. Themed nights are a nice touch, though the “BBQ” is really a buffet. Entertainment is low-key: singers, a weekend steel band, and karaoke if you’re brave. Plenty of beach sunbeds, and staff will move them wherever you like. Pool loungers get claimed early sometimes, but it’s not a big issue. Nearby restaurants are decent but similar — Buzo stood out as the best for us. Tried Oistins Friday Fish Fry, not for us, tacky and boisterous. Ted’s Tours is worth doing (fun but a bit of a booze cruise), and car hire via the hotel was easy. Overall: great location, lovely staff, and excellent value. Would happily return.
Our holiday was off to a good start with a warm welcome. The beach, pool and shop were just a short walk from our room. It’s a family hotel who care for their guests. We were always greeted with smiles by staff who were very helpful if needed. No early morning rush for sunbeds. Plenty of seating/sunbeds in the pool area with parasols. Almond trees provide shade on the beach. Decide how much shade or sun, place sunbed where you wish. Help available from staff if required. Shower by the steps. There is a constant depth in the sea between the beach and reef. Perfect to snorkel. The food in the main restaurant, Cocos, is beautifully presented and delicious. We also enjoyed meals at the beach café, Captain Charlie's. Highly recommend being here on Sundays when Kristle plays Steel Pan Music between 12.00 – 14.00 hrs. Smoking/Vapes – not in rooms or balcony, seating set aside at beach bar/café. Otherwise, no list of rules. Entertainment – listed on room tv and several places around hotel. At hotel entrance is a shop. A second-hand book rack is outside the shop, books sold for a small fee, which goes to animal charity. Champers Restaurant is a short taxi ride from hotel. Its location is beautiful. As we entered the attractive dining area, ahead was a stunning sunset which we continued to admire from our table, plus listening to the sea which surrounds this area. All the courses were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Finally - we would like to thank all the staff for their kindness to name a few - Sophia, Katy, Maria, Martha, Terence, Heddy, Ean, Kamisha, Rhianna, Jabari and separately, Marsha. I can see why so many people return and we will definitely return.
Friendly helpful staff
Just returned from a great time with a group of friends from the Coconut Court and we had a great holiday. It was our fourth visit. Rooms a bit basic but very functional and Air Con worked ! I had a superior view room with views to die for. All the staff are fabulous all very professional and more importantly had a smile on their faces at all times. We all took advantage of the happy hours and 241 offers, and the food from the beach bar was good. The location of the hotel is great immediately on a golden beach , with a few great bars along the coast on the beach, Chill bar, Blakeys for example. Went into Jakes most nights for a few Rums and again the service was second to none with great music being played most nights.Pool was great with sunbed service so didnt have to move to get a drink.. Eat out a few nights with the Fish Pott, Champers ,Tapas and Buzo being our favourites and Jakes ribs were very good. All in all the eight of us had a great time and we will return without a doubt. Well done to all at the Coconut Court , management, please pass our comments to all the staff please
On the 28 of Februari 2026 we had booked a 3 days stay at the Coconut Court Beach Hotel in Christ Church/Hastings on Barbados. From there we were moving on to our 2 weeks cruise and afterwards return again to this hotel for another 4 days. When we entered our room we were instantly disappointed. We stepped onto our balcony and the view we had was mostly on unattractive rooftops of the hotels restaurant, kitchen, staff quarters, solar panels etc. See pictures. Because we were really tired of all the travelling we decided not to make a fuzz about it. What we usually love to do is sitting on our balcony and enjoy the view. But in this case we really couldn’t enjoy sitting outside because of the depressing view… When we left after 3 days we mentioned at the Frontdesk that we were not happy with the view and that we would like a better room when we would return in 2 weeks time. Yesterday on the 17th of March 2026 we have returned to the hotel and guess what. They gave us a room in the same building (there are 4 buildings), at exactly the same Location. Only difference is that we were on the First Floor during our previous stay and now they had moved us to the fourth Floor. So I went to the frontdesk and asked to speak to the Manager on Duty: Terrence Joseph. After 10 minutes he finally came out of his office and merely looking at his body Language and the arrogant way hé looked at me I could already predict how this conversation would go… I introduced myself (he did Not Return the courtesy by the way), stayed calm and explained to him that I was disappointed in our rooms view. I mentioned during our previous visit we had accepted that but now we would like to have a room with a proper view, preferrably Not overlooking rooftops. He mentioned we had booked a room with „Partial oceanview“ and the room we got offered exactly that. So we got what we paid for, period! I was stunned by his arrogant attitude and at this Point I got somewhat irritated. I showed him my reservation from our travel Agency which Clearly mentioned „Ocean view“, without any mentioning of „partial“. He was totally Not impressed and said my small Travel Agency had probably purchased that room from some reseller. Where I live (The Netherlands) this Travel Agency is Well known and has an outstanding Reputation. But the Guy just did Not Care and on top of that, again , this condescending attitude… Usually hotel staff gets a hospitality Education, but obviously this is not mandatory in this hotel. And usually it is the Managers Job to Listen to a customers complaint and try to solve it in Order for the customer to be happy. Well, none of that! Hé acted like he owned the Place and that I should be very happy that I was allowed to stay Here. As I was trying to get through to him I mentioned we had paid 2650 Euro (3100 USD) for a stay of 7 days in total in this hotel. That is Not exactly a bargain and I expected a bit more than this. At that Point he turned his back to me and started walking away saying he would See what he could do. I waited for about 15 min. and then another employee walked up to me saying he would help me carrying my suitcases to my room??? The manager was nowhere to be Seen at that moment. No explanation given, nothing. So we dragged our suitcases upstairs to the fourth floor and there was the Manager, waiting for us. He had given us a room 3 Doors to the left. So now we would Not be watching rooftops from the Side but from the middle… For the last time I attempted to talk to him in a calm way but he sticked to his previous extremely customer unfriendly attitude. So he left me No Choice. I mentioned I would file a complaint with my Travel Agency and he smiled and even encouraged me to do so. Since they, or I, had made a mistake and certainly not the hotel. What a pity that staff Like this can destroy the Overall positive Impression we had of the hotel, the Location, the Food and the Majority of friendly Staff members. For sure we will return to Barbados because we really love it! But for sure we Will never be visiting Coconut Court Beach hotel anymore. You really made sure of that Terrence! It would have been so easy for you to make us happy, but I guess that is Not the kind of Person and „manager“ you Are.
De locatie is geweldig!! Heerlijk gelegen pal aan het prachtige privé strand echt ontzettend mooi! En winkeltjes en restaurantjes op loop afstand
Ontbijt is duur en niet inbegrepen. Kamers zijn wat gehorig.
My 3rd time here in 3 years, as usual had a fab time. Contacted the hotel direct for my booking and the staff are more than helpful. I can’t fault a thing. Staff are brilliant . Hotel is in a great location for a base to explore the island. Excellent as always See you soon 😎
The hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly. Great beach location where you can walk straight onto the sand. Lots of free to use loungers and nice to swim in the natural lagoon. At low water there's plenty of passing sea-life to view. Chilled vibe at Charlie's Bar. No lifts inside the hotel so be careful with all the stairs!
This was our first visit to Barbados and we found the Coconut Court to be an excellent choice. We received a friendly welcome at check-in which set the tone of the holiday. Our room was a Deluxe Ocean View on the top floor but fortunately help was available with our luggage and we soon got used to the stairs. The room was spacious with a great and uninterrupted sea view. Arguably its a bit dated but that would be a bit picky. There were ample plug sockets and a decent shower that didn't flood the bathroom floor. With a fridge, microwave, toaster and iron as well as a safe the room was very well appointed. We ate at all three restaurants and enjoyed them all. Breakfast is cooked to order in Coco's not a buffet as many other hotels offer. Lunch service was slow in Captain Charlies, they looked understaffed and had to deal with people walking up to the bar from the beach for drinks as well as serving meals. Happy Hours were very welcome although the drinks included in the deal seemed to vary. Prices were reasonable. The beach here is picture postcard perfect. There is loads of space and never a shortage of sunbeds. The pool area does get busier but you can usually find a space. The only downside here was people jumping into the pool (despite the signs) and others drinking and vaping whilst standing in the pool. All the staff here were unfailingly friendly and we spoke to guests who had come here in preference to the larger chain hotels which they found impersonal. We were pleased to support a family business and congratulate them on securing such an idyllic site. There are several restaurants within walking distance although the pavements are very poor and we opted for taxis at night. The south coast boardwalk is nearby which is a pleasant stroll if a little windy. The weather was not kind to us during our stay with strong winds and occasional and sometimes frequent heavy showers. It was warm rain though! We hope to return to Barbados before too long and would certainly choose Coconut Court.
A wonderful small hotel. Brilliant breakfasts, beautiful rooms with great views over the beach. Well maintained, any glitches are resolved within minutes. Really strong customer service culture throughout the hotel. The restaurant is superb and offers high quality first class fare. Will definitely return.
Dejlig beliggenhed, skøn udsigt fra værelset. Good value for money
Our stay at Coconut Court Beach Hotel was between February 16, 2026 and February 26, 2026. When we first arrived, we were warmly and pleasantly greeted by Junior. This, I must say, started our visit on a very positive note. Front desk staff was professional, welcoming and efficient, getting us on our way to our room. In addition to Junior, our stay was impacted in many positive ways by the following staff: Hadfield, Sherry, Dwight, Lance, Richard and Sabrena. It is important to note, that all the staff was pleasant, kind and helpful. Our room (Superior Oceanfront with balcony) was as advertised, so no surprises or disappointments. It was clean and spacious (King-size bed, and a sofa bed) with a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishes, cutlery) and sink. The bathroom was small, but met our needs. The room had a large closet (with hangers, ironing board and iron and wall safe), but could use a bit more drawer space for storage of clothes etc. (We shared 6 small drawers) Housekeeping was always reliable. There are three places to eat at the hotel: Captain Charlie's, Cocos and Jake's (across the street). All have delicious choices and the service was always excellent. Pool and pool area were clean with many lounges, tables and chairs, and umbrellas. Beach area had ample lounges and shade trees—and beautiful turquoise waters. Beach towels were provided in the room. There is a small store at the hotel and a convenience store across from the hotel. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel (very convenient for day trips to Bridgetown, Oistins or several small malls). The buses do honk their horn at the stop—didn’t bother us. The buses to take are numbers 11 or 3D. The cost per person is $3.50 Barbadian dollars. If you have mobility issues, this hotel may not be for you. There are no elevators and plenty of steps, staircases etc. Although, I am sure, the hotel can accommodate you in other ways. The resort is older than some of the gleaming, newer hotels on the island, but overall, it is clean, well-maintained and the staff at this resort are more than happy to assist you. Here staff members really do make the difference. We were very happy to have chosen this hotel for our holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you very much to the owners and staff of this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
