Prachtige locatie, vriendelijk personeel, voldoende parkeergelegenheid (kosteloos) bij het hotel, schone kamers, goede voorzieningen (dagelijks badlaken te gebruiken (kosteloos).

Er is helaas geen lift aanwezig. Dus als je een kamer hebt die niet op de begane grond ligt, dan zal je de koffers naar je kamer moeten tillen (voor ons werd dat gedaan, dus dat was een prima service).

Dive resort, diving was phenomenal, rooms exceptional, food was okay, staff amazing.

I have nothing but great things to say. I planned a birthday trip with 15 of my friends and stayed at this resort. The morning I was supposed to fly in, American Airlines cancelled my flight and since my friends flights were out of another airport that made it there while I had to fly in a day later! I was stressed and Erica at the front desk was a life saver. She accommodated me flying in a day later and leaving a day later with no extra charge. She also upgraded my room for free and decorated it and set me up with a rental car to get around the island. I am forever grateful! I love the location of the resort. It was in walking distance from many restaurants. It was clean and the staff were helpful. They offered shuttles that went downtown twice a day! 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you again Erica!

Beautiful resort that doesn’t feel like a resort!

Great resort for divers and nondivers. RoGreat dive vacationoms are good size very clean. great beach, a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Ocean Encounters dive shop was great. The staff at the hotel and dive shop extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming her on vacation.

Just got back 7/31/26 stayed for a week and loved it. Hotel and location were amazing. Beach was beautiful (bring water shoes its rocky walking in) Mambo beach is a 2-minute walk and there is so much to do there. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Why only 4 stars hotel and grounds are very clean, rooms do need some updating. It seems no one or nothing moves with any urgency in Curacao so be prepared to wait no matter what you do or where you go. But the Island is beautiful and so are the local people. Can't wait to come back and will stay at the Lions Dive again

We love your staff. It is the best thing you could offer us. Since this was our 10th stay, we already know many of the team members by name, and it is always a joy to return. Lions Dive has truly become our summer home.

Excellent location , with dive shop on site. Wonderful food/drink options both at the resort, or very close walk. Staff was great. Our only problem was that our room A/C did not work very well, and maintenance was not able to completely resolve the issue. I would recommend this to both div, as well as non-divers looking for a great beach vacation.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and the rooms were excellent—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. The food was generally good, although we would not recommend the Piazza restaurant, as it did not meet the same standard as the other dining options. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the service. Most of the staff seemed unfriendly, unmotivated, and showed very little interest in providing good customer service. This was the only aspect that negatively affected our stay. During our five-day visit, only two employees truly stood out: a young bartender who is currently in training and a young receptionist. Both were friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. They deserve recognition for their excellent attitude. Overall, the resort itself is fantastic and has a lot to offer. However, the quality of the service does not match the quality of the facilities. Great resort, poor service.

The location is beautiful, and the hotel is situated about 5 mins from the heart of the capital. The rooms were also fantastic, however the lighting was a bit dim. When it comes to value for money, I’d say LionsDive was a solid 9/10. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The only comment I would say, it that they should offer a bit more options when it comes to nightlife or night activities for hotel guests, given that the island itself it pretty quiet when it comes to late night parties for guests who want to have that experience.

I was surprised in the level of details they have. Superb attention and facilities. No charge for coffee capsules in the room, lotion for your body, electrical adapters, you have washing machines and laundry machines available for you and they provide the detergent. We were in 2 different rooms. One with direct access to the beach, recommended. Then, to the apartments with direct access to the 50m pool, also strongly recommended. All personnel is friendly and willing to help you kindly. One thing to note is that rooms are hard to get it dark for the night, they are obscured with curtains. The experience was great, extremely recommended!

Would def come back. everything was great, location is Close to Restaurants, ice cream, Beach etc. def somewhere I would re visit. Only complaint is I asked for Double beds and had a room with one bed… all staff was friendly and courteous.

We stayed for 11 night at Lions Dive resort. This is our second stay at this location. We chose Lions Dive for several reasons. We dive and the staff at Ocean Encounters is excellent. Lions Dive is centrally located on Mambo Beach which means we have access to beahces, restaurants, shopping, etc. in additiona to what is located at the resort. If you want luxury rooms and big dollar amenities, this is not your location. The rooms can be quite noisey and busy...Think Carnival Cruise ship. Staff for the most part is friendly and accomodating but you will find the odd member who seems bothered by you interrupting their day. Please remember you are on Island time so give yourself planty of time for dinner or cocktails. While we were not a fan of the burgers at Hemminways, the rest of their food was good. Piazza had pizza worse than a microwave pizza from the Dollar Store. I couldn't even finish a slice. The massage at the spa was excellent and affordable. Plenty of seating on the beach and generally no wait at the restaurants. Please keep in mind our stay was during the first two weeks of July.(low season). The rroms have a sceen window in the bathroom and the bottom of the main door has a gap which means anyone outside your room is heard clearly in your room no matter what time of day or night it is. Overall, we enjoyed the stay here but as I said earlier, do not expect the experience or service you might get at a higher dollar resort. We will probably return but mainly because of location over quality.

This was the prefect location and resort for a snorkeling and beach focused week away! Meals were very good and we're right next door to Mambo for the variety of restaurants over there. The room and facilities were exactly the low-key laid back vibe we were looking for. Shout out to Ocean Encounters for our snorkeling trips to the Tugboat! We booked excursions when we wanted to get out to see Willemstaf and the rest of the island. Tip: Borrow gear from the towel shack and snorkel around Hemingways and along the swim area breakwater.

Great place to getaway with Family. Plenty of beaches, pools and restaurants. Can truly unwind and forget about work and enjoy a Caribbean experience.

We had a wonderful time at LionsDive Beach Resort. It is the perfect place for a family vacation: the atmosphere is very welcoming, the beach is beautiful, and it is perfectly located close to everything you need for a hassle-free stay. ​While the facilities and the beach are a 10/10, what truly sets this hotel apart is its people. The entire staff is attentive and helpful, but we want to give a very special shoutout to the housekeeping team. Their work is exceptional; they left our room spotless every single day, and their attention to detail is incredible. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable! We will definitely be back.

I slightly agonized over which would be the best accomodations for our first trip to Curacao. I am so happy that I can confidently say I picked the absolute perfect resort for our family. The location can not be beat. Being able to access Mambo Beach and Mambo Beach Blvd so easily was such a plus. The resort is beautiful. The lovely murals throughout were definitely a highlight. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath apartment for our family five. We had a maintenance issue and it was taken care of immediately and efficently. Our apartment was spotless as was the entire resort. Staff all throughtout the resort were friendly, very competent and hard working. Unfortunately, obviously no fault of LionsDive , there was construction happening next to the resort. Our apartment was facing the construction unfortunately. So the noise level was a little more than I had hoped for but it was not a deal breaker by any means. Multiple restaurants and bars on site. We very much enjoyed sushi at Nemo. Our server, bartender extraordinaire, Jasper, was an absolute pleasure. We enjoyed the two refreshing pools in the resort and other amenities such as the spacious gym. I had hoped to particpate in yoga on the beach and the guided hikes but the start times for those activities were a litttle too early for me ( 7 am and 7:45 am) but I think it's a nice bonus that they are offered. All in all, LionsDive is a fantastic value for your money. We greatly enjoyed our stay at LionsDive and hope to return in the future. Thank you LionsDive for making our first trip to Curacao a truly memorable one!

I will start with the positives. The beach view from our balcony was great and the location and proximity to restaurants/shops on Mambo beach Blvd were a plus. We also found the calm shallow water at the hotel beach perfect for our kiddo.....and that's where it ends. This place should get zero stars for service. In general, we found the service and responsiveness of staff at the front desk and property restaurants to be sub par. We had a maintenance issue on the first night with our shower. The water would not drain and began spilling out into the rest of the bathroom. We phoned the front desk who informed us that maintenance had gone for the night but that someone would be there in the morning to resolve the issue (surprise, surprise that never happened). We called the next morning when no one showed up and we were told that someone would be there shortly. Well shortly turned into 4 hours later and a trip to the front desk to get the issue resolved. The front desk staff was unpleasant and unapologetic. They actually accused my husband and I of providing a wrong room number when in reality no one ever asked for our room number because they could see what room we were calling from, so this had us a bit peeved. On another occasion, when we had just returned from a day at the beach, the property manager asked if maintenance could come to our room for about an hr to make repairs because allegedly there was a leak in the unit below due to something with our toilet. We told her that it was not a good time and they could come the next day between 12-1. In preparation, we made plans to be out of our room during that period. Guess what, we return to our room around 3 and maintenance was still there doing repairs. The rooms are decent but could use some updating. It looks like they are working on other units but maybe had not gotten to ours yet. The balcony was nice but kind of dark at night due to no lighting. The sink in our master bathroom was not attached which they attempted to fix twice unsuccessfully. The first night we were there the beach bar outside our room had a party going to after 11 pm and it was very loud. I wish the hotel would have warned us about this noise issue. At every restaurant, service was lack luster...no one refilled waters or came to check if any thing additional was needed. At check in, no one provided information about the island, excursions, activities, amenities or local grocery stores, etc.

Came back this Saturday 20th from the best ever Resort we stayed in the last 25 years LionsDive . I want to mention all the people who helped us first. Nigel, Katy, Peaches, Nina, Sandy and of course Kimberley, And there is so many more. As en experienced traveller I would like to commend the entire Resort for its cleanliness, friendliness and the amazing atmosphere and vibes, THE BEST VIBES in the entire Caribbean. The beach is wavy clean sparkling blue and welcoming, you can swim or snorkel, you will see the all the way down with prettiest fishes I have ever seen. My daughter stayed the entire day in the waters because of its beautiful waves (she is 19). Myself and my wife were simply overtaken by how WARM AND CLEAN the beach is. Its amazing! The restaurants and bars, WOW. All the waitresses smiling and so patient. And the food, the variety and the quality ... Even in New York the selections and taste is not the same. Liquors and soft drinks all served and presented with such a culinary finesse. And our room (suite) huge and spacious, well air-conditioned with the full kitchen equipped with the latest dishware. The views from our balcony are worth a million, day or night! Live music at night, WOW again, free to enter and have a so much fun and be happy! I can not stop asking myself why we ve never stayed at LionsDive before, this resort is a gem in the Curacao. Either you are a family or travelling solo this is a PARADISE. Strongly recommend to all, you will thank me later. And the best part of all, we are coming back this December God Willing ! May God Save and Protect all beautiful people of Curacao and all and everyone at LionsDive for sharing and welcoming us to their FANTASTIC resort.

We’ve had another fantastic stay at LionsDive. It has truly become our home away from home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is always excellent. If you’re staying here, be sure to add breakfast to your booking. Enjoying breakfast with your feet in the sand is, for us, the perfect way to start the day. So, if you’re planning a trip to Curaçao, we can highly recommend staying at LionsDive. The hotel is also ideally located on Mambo Beach, making it the perfect base from which to explore the island.

We had a great time. Staff very friendly and attentive. Resort is clean, beautiful beach. They went out of their way to decorate my niece's room as we were celebrating her high school graduation. It made her very hsppy.

I honestly couldn't think of one thing they could have done better. It was absolutely perfect. Only thing it liked was maybe nightly entertainment, but honestly I also didn't mind the quite at night with just the sound of the waves coming in. I thought the swimming area with the water break was a great idea, made for great swimming and protected the shoreline at the same time. Food was great at every place and having more choices next door was also great.

This was our 4th stay at LionsDive and we are already planning #5. We love it here! Location, staff, restaurants on-site, beach, our room, 50m pool, proximity to Mambo beach, the list goes on....Stayed 11 nights with my best friend and had an amazing time again. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the 50m pool. Beautiful room with a huge wraparound balcony. Snorkeling right off the beach along the breaker wall is great. Sitting at Hemingway for lunch, overlooking the ocean is amazing. Being next door to Mambo, plus the Aquarium and the dive shop is what makes this location standout. There is always something to do (or you can just lounge on the beach all day 😎). Special thanks to Sergio and Surandy for being so helpful. We are already planning our next stay!

Location and beauty of resort

I stayed at LionsDive for a few nights and did some diving with Ocean Encounters on the property. The dive team was excellent, the beach was wonderful, and the hotel was amazing. I ran into an issue on the first day, and Shersand really saved the day. He did an amazing job and truly came to the rescue.

I was there for a diving trip. The resort is beautiful and there is a protected beach for swimmers and children. I spent almost all my time diving, so I didn't use the pools and only used the beach once for a night dive. Food was delicious and the resort has several restaurants. Note that some are open/closed on alternating days, but it's spelled out on the resort guide. The bed was more "firm" than I like, so my sleep was not as comfortable as I had hoped. I travel a lot for my job, so I use hotels frequently. But my bed was harder than most. Not sure if that's true for all of them or just mine. And the pillows were oversized which created too much angle for my neck. That's a "me problem" but just FYI. The diving service was the best I had so far!

La playa tiene un sector delimitado con resposeras exclusivas solo para huéspedes, lo cual contribuye a la seguridad de los huéspedes y sus pertenencias . Sin embargo, no se cumplieron las reglas de forma equitativa . Muchos visitantes locales fueron derivados al sector de visitas ( que tenía un costo extra ) , pero una vístante extranjera consiguió instalarse en la parte exclusiva de huéspedes y en primera línea de playa simplemente por levantar un poco la voz al encargado de las reposeras. No me gustó que realizaran ese tipo de excepción , me pareció muy injusto con los huéspedes y con los visitantes locales. Las reglas se deben cumplir para todos .

Hotel muito bem localizado, dentro de Mambo beach, quarto com vista parcial do mar amplo, cama confortável, amenites de boa qualidade, bem iluminado, contando com cafeteira com café e cha, pequeno frigobar. Várias cabanas com cadeiras de frente pro mar. Faixa com barreira de pedras ótima para Snorkel. Restaurantes com bons preços para Curaçao. Era meu aniversário de casamento, decoraram a cama e deixaram ainda um espumante de presente. Gostei muito do Hotel. Estacionamento interno seguro

Lionsdive exceeded our expectations, the resort is beautiful and very well maintained. We rented a car one day to go see other beaches and we regretted leaving the resort as the beach here is perfect. We drove to 3 other beaches, they were very very busy with no seating left and hard to get parking. We spent the other 7 days at the resort other than going to Punda Vibes on Thursday.. we had a 1 bedroom suite which was very spacious and a large balcony. Lionsdive is a bit more expensive but totally worth every penny. Value for money. I would love to visit again.

My family had a wonderful experience at LionsDIve. Clean rooms, great location, many food options. It was not crowded at this time of year which is great! We had many choices of beach locations each day and did not have to travel off the resort. My teenagers we able to be independent due to the safety of the resort and food options. Close to Mambo Beaches shops and many restaurants.

From the moment we arrived the service was top notch. We booked a room that we thought would be big enough for my wife and I, and our toddler son. It was our mistake but I asked if they could help out and I would pay the difference, and they outdid themselves by getting us a suite right away and worked with me on price. The beach is incredible with crystal clear water, and the waiters were awesome serving food and drinks right on the water. Hemingway and Nemo restaurants were both 5*, especially with their service. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Had an emergency and had to leave after 1 night. Hotel is refusing to refund any of our money. They charged my card for the entire stay at check-in, highly unusual, but now I know why. No other hotel I have ever stayed ay would ever pull this and steal our money. Stay as far away from this place as possible. Not trustworthy

Our first family vacation to Curaçao was a fantastic experience, and the island truly exceeded our expectations. LionsDive Beach Resort was beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and perfectly located for both relaxation and enjoying its private beach. What made our stay especially memorable was the outstanding hospitality from the staff. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful, with special recognition to Ashanty at the front desk and Nigel, who both went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Among the resort’s dining options, Piazza was easily our favorite. We received excellent service there, especially from Cindy, who made each visit enjoyable. Hemingway was our least favorite restaurant overall, though Dee Dee’s great table service was certainly appreciated. My family and I would absolutely recommend this resort to others, and we’re already looking forward to returning for another stay.

Whether you are snorkeling, walking to one of the many restaurants or just relaxing... this is the place for you. Staff is very friendly and if you get a chance to meet Shade, she will make you feel right at home.

We were very happy with our stay at Lions Dive. The service was very very good. Everyone is pleasant there. The dive operation is fantastic. The only complaint i have was the food at Hemingways and Nemo. Nemo we found inedible, just really bad sushi and Hemingways was meh at best. However Mambo beach has good restaurants so we had dinners there most nights. We would return though as its mostly about the diving for us and the rooms were very clean and tended to daily. You also cant beat the location, truly a little paradise.

Second day with my wife and we have enjoyed it through early both times. There was some construction noise this time, but I appreciate their constant updating and improving the resort.

After our visit in February we decided we did not get enough time and returned to get some more sun, sand, and relaxation. This resort has the perfect mix of lodging location to the beach, the right amount of chairs that they are always available, but not packed so close you have to wedge into them, nice restaurant options, but also walking distance to other eating options. The beach/water is walk in ready (a few rocks) but lots of sand and calm waters. Bring your snorkel, and if you want to dive is walking distance also. Great resort, great locations, everything you need, including daily buses to the grocery store and/or into town.

Shade is the Best! It is so nice to be a returning customer and be remembered! Very professional and helpful! JT has a great personality that I know he will rise up the ranks of the hotel business quickly. Also this place is great for the sunsets.

Love Ocean Encounter staff!!! Their attention to detail, knowledge of the area dives and focus on presenting a positive experience all come together very nicely. it is obvious that they work hard in accessing various skill levels.

Het resort is van alle gemakken voorzien en de ligging is werkelijk waar super! Droomlocatie waar je met de voetjes in het zand kunt genieten van de adembenemende zonsondergang.

Niets! Als kleine tip zou ik alleen mee willen geven om aan het strand te gaan werken met QR-codes waarmee je een bestelling kunt plaatsen bij 1 van de restaurants. Hierdoor kan het personeel efficiënter werken, scheelt veel onnodige grijze kilometers :P

This resort is located in a very nice setting It is very clean but could use upgrading both in rooms and pool areas. The service is spotty sometimes good other times no do good. The dive shop on premise is convenient. Food is expensive and quality isn’t worth the price.

We just returned from a wonderful week long stay at Lions Dive! What a beautiful and immaculate resort! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! I was amazed at how clean the grounds were and the rooms well maintained! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that was perfect for our family of 5! Local birds including parrots outside every day! Food and drinks at Hemmingways and Chill were great! Highly recommend!!!

We were very impressed by how beautiful the resort was. We were there with our daughter she belongs to a dive team. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Especially Peaches. She was so sweet and a nice addition to our wonderful vacation. Food was also good everywhere we ate. I am also a cat lover and was thrilled to see and know the resort takes care of these beautiful animals.

Amazing experience! Ariana at check-in was so welcoming, the room was clean with a beautiful view, and the service was impeccable. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall a great place to hang out. Loved the family feel and would enjoy a return with the grandkids. The beach hangout was very comfortable and great access for all water activities. Staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. We enjoyed the constant activity of help maintaining the property at all levels. Never a problem. Location of resort was great. If we could get there easier, we would visit more.
