Muito barulho aos finais de semana. Balada e som. Serviço de quarto MUITO ruim. No primeiro dia chegamos cansados, pedimos bebidas e comidas. Simplesmente veio somente um produto. Não possuem streaming na TV. No penúltimo dia pedimos café da manhã no quarto. Voltamos e a comida permaneceu na porta do mesmo durante quase 2 dias.

El estudio es amplio y cómodo, la cocina tiene todo lo necesario pero no hay lo básico para cocinar como sal y aceite. El studio tiene acceso fácil a las zonas del hotel a los beach clubs aunque no queda dentro del complejo de Kontiki, son unos apartamento al lado. Cuenta con parqueadero y accesos a Cabana Club que es muy bonito. Lo recomiendo si quieres estar sobretodo en la zona este pero si tu plan es ir a las playas del oeste es un poco alejado.

My experience at Kontiki Beach Resort Curaçao was deeply disappointing, particularly because this trip was planned specifically to celebrate my 60th birthday. I was intentional about the details of this trip. I communicated with the resort in advance, followed up, and confirmed arrangements for my birthday, including a large “60” balloon bouquet in my room and a scheduled massage. Neither was delivered as planned. The birthday balloons never arrived. When I raised the issue, the response was dismissive—essentially that it was “okay.” It was not. A 60th birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and the purpose of arranging and confirming these details in advance was to ensure they were executed on the day they mattered. My scheduled massage was also canceled, and the proposed solution was to move it to another day. Again, that failed to recognize the nature of the issue. I was not a local guest with unlimited flexibility. I was visiting Curaçao for a milestone birthday, and the appointment was part of that specific celebration. When a resort cancels a confirmed service under those circumstances, I would expect the priority to be finding an alternative provider or solution that same day—not simply asking the guest to rearrange her plans. Most concerning was the lack of managerial accountability. Despite my request to speak directly with the manager, the manager remained in the office and communicated with me through staff rather than addressing the situation personally. That is where this experience moved beyond a series of unfortunate mistakes and became a hospitality failure. Mistakes happen. Reservations get confused. Deliveries are missed. What matters is ownership, urgency, and service recovery. I experienced very little of any of the three. For a resort positioning itself as an upscale Curaçao destination, I expected significantly better execution and leadership—especially after multiple prearranged and confirmed elements of a milestone celebration were missed. I cannot recreate my 60th birthday, and offering to provide an experience on another day does not restore the experience that was lost. Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to recommend Kontiki Beach Resort for milestone celebrations or special occasions where guests are relying on the resort to execute confirmed arrangements.

The entire resort is beyond beautiful. The pools were all the perfect temperature, the room was clean and comfortable. It was super convenient to stay at a hotel close to mambo beach blvd which made everything a short walk away. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive making it impossible to not want to come back.

Danesh was awesome, helpful, and was our only warm welcome and service during our stay. Room service did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked. Beds and pillows just aren’t the best! Service at restaurants and beach is very unorganized and slow. Resort staff, just unfriendly, not very welcoming. For it not to be an all inclusive stay, the service was the part for us that makes us not recommend / or return. We spent SO much money on not great service. The grounds and hotel itself, is absolutely beautiful and dated. Which we loved, happy I saw but not dying to go back!

If you are used to a beach resort then this is place for you. Overall we had a nice time however the cleanliness and service could have been much better . We consistently had stained towels or linens but they were quickly replaced when we asked. I think the island just needs to get a little bit more used to tourism. We met a few nice people/staff here and there. I did see a lot of reviews about the noise but we have to say it wasn’t that bad . It definitely didn’t go all night long and it for sure wasn’t everyday. Please note that there isn’t a real pool experience here so if that’s your thing then this is not the place for you, but if you are ok with spending most of your day at the beach then this would be perfect. Also there are not many food options on the resort , you have to walk about 3-5 minutes to the strip where there are plenty of food options. Be sure to go into Downtown and explore the island as much as you can . Overall this was not what we are used to when it comes to a resort as we are frequent travelers however a good experience once we changed our mindset

I've worked those details into the review naturally while keeping the tone positive and honest. Writing Our stay at Kontiki was a really enjoyable experience, and we'd definitely recommend booking one of the Luxury Ocean View Suites. We stayed in the far-right building (if you're facing the resort from the beach), right next to the gym. The suite itself was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, including nightly turndown service, and the room stayed nice and cold, which we really appreciated after long days in the sun. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we honestly loved spending time in the room. The pool was heavenly—we found ourselves there almost every day. The resort itself is gorgeous, well-maintained, and we had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and service. One of the best perks of booking a Luxury Suite is access to the VIP beach section. It made the beach experience feel much more relaxing and was absolutely worth it. We also loved the breakfast (not included in the room rate). The breakfast tower was perfect for two, and my husband surprised me with the floating breakfast one morning. It was such a fun experience and 100% worth it! A couple of things to know before you book. The resort is currently expanding, so there is construction going on behind some of the buildings. During our stay, we didn't find the construction to be much of an issue. The bigger nuisance was the noise from the beach club, which goes late three nights a week, and the gym next to our building, where loud music started around 7:00 a.m. most mornings. The hotel does provide earplugs, and we'd read reviews beforehand, so we came prepared with a sound machine, which definitely helped. One thing we did wish the resort offered was some complimentary beach gear. Aside from the daybeds, they don't provide items like snorkel equipment, pool noodles, or floats. It would have been a nice touch, especially for a beachfront resort. Thankfully, there are several shops within walking distance, so we were able to easily pick up sunscreen and a snorkel mask. Overall, we had a great stay. If you're considering Kontiki, I would absolutely recommend splurging on one of the Luxury Suites. From what we observed, the standard rooms seem to offer a different experience, and in this case, you really do get what you pay for. If you come prepared for a little noise, you'll likely have a wonderful stay like we did.

We loved our stay at the Kontiki! The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The most memorable part of it all was handsome Hensley! He took very good care of us and made us feel like family. Whenever we needed him, he was there with a smile on his face. He made us all fall in love with Curacao. Thank you Hensley!! We will never forget you.

My friends and I enjoyed a girls 30th birthday trip at this amazing beach resort. We didn’t know what to expect but the reviews online created high hopes for us. Upon arrival and throughout the duration of the trip, our guest services rep, Hensley made the celebration worthwhile - from the warm welcome, bright smiles, and willingness to make us feel comfortable - his kindness, professionalism, and jovial spirit awakened our appreciation for humanity and made the joys the trip so much more vibrant. Thank you Hensley for everything, you’re truly one of a kind.

The service was truly terrible. Aside from the towels—one day they were missing, the next day we only had either large or small towels in the bathroom—and the beach towels, which could not be collected in the evening but only early in the morning (why?), the response to our WhatsApp messages was also very poor. The couple we were traveling with were suddenly told, halfway through their holiday, that they had to move to a different apartment. On top of that, the key card system for the doors did not work properly. Every morning, afternoon, and evening we had to go to the reception desk to get new key cards just to be able to open the door to our own apartment. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The apartment itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean, but the service was genuinely disappointing. Both the reception staff and the back office provided very poor service.

The founds are beautiful and my suite was amazing! Everyone was so courteous and accommodating. Specifically HENSLY who always greeted me with a smile on his face, assisted me with my belonging and drove me around the property. He was kind and informative about the island and things to do. I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay started with a door that was nearly impossible to open — even the staff carrying our luggage struggled with it. Once inside, the room looked fine at first glance, but the bathroom had a pungent odor that never went away no matter how long we left the window open. The AC hadn't been turned on either, so the room was a sauna when we walked in, which only made the smell worse. We had to leave a room key in the slot to keep the AC running, and when we went to get a replacement key, the new ones didn't work — an ordeal of its own. We spent our entire first day unable to use our room to shower or freshen up after the airport. We went to the beach, came back, and nothing had changed, so we were in the lobby at 8:30 PM going back and forth about the room. The phones in the room didn't work either. They finally moved us the next day, but only after hours at the front desk that ate into our vacation. The new room also had a bad odor, though it seemed limited to the toilet rather than the whole bathroom. The phones didn't work in this room either. On our last night, the AC made a loud noise that kept us up most of the night. The sink wasn't draining, though maintenance did come and fix that promptly. Housekeeping was another issue. Some days we didn't get fresh towels. The floors were never swept — there was old hair and dust throughout. At most, the beds were made. This wasn't the experience I expected given the Kontiki's strong reviews. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hensly was so nice and accommodating! He took our bags to our rooms and was always available to give us a ride around the property. We appreciate him so much! The rooms were nice. The only downside is the communication with the front desk via WhatsApp was exceptionally slow.

I had an amazing stay at this resort The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

We arrived a little nervous. This was our very first holiday with our daughter, just six months old. Then the doors opened, and everything changed. Raigen and Jonathan welcomed us like family. The hostesses greeted us with warm smiles the moment we stepped inside. From that first hello, we knew we were in good hands. The location is simply stunning. The sea, the light, the calm. Every corner invited us to slow down and breathe. With a baby, that peace meant everything. The service was excellent from start to finish. Attentive, but never intrusive. Kind, but always professional. The team thought of things before we even asked. And it is wonderfully child-friendly. We felt relaxed with our little one, day and night. That comfort turned a first trip into a real adventure. Thank you, Raigen, Jonathan, and the whole team, for making our daughter’s first holiday one we will never forget. We came as three. We left with a memory for life. See you next year!

Upon arrival I was provided the two bedroom apartment that I paid through a third party. The rooms have air conditioning in the bedrooms but no air conditioning in the living room/kitchen area. It was unbelievably hot and utilizing the stand up fan only circulated warm air. I spoke to a manager and not only did they say there was nothing they can do, they had no rooms available to move me nor were they able to provide me a refund. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. Horrible hotel that’s unbelievably hot.

Very friendly and helpful staff and a great private beach. We stayed at the beach house which is great for families. Can be a bit pricey especially if don’t have amenities like beach chairs included upfront in a package deal but that might be to be expected.

I stayed at Kontiki Beach Resort with my daughter to celebrate her 30th birthday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful, our room was exactly as pictured, and the floating breakfast exceeded our expectations. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The beachfront cabanas were amazing, and the bartenders provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Our biggest disappointment was our arrival experience. I paid for the resort's private airport transportation, which was advertised with champagne, but we were picked up in an older, worn vehicle and there was no champagne. Since this was the beginning of a milestone birthday trip, it was a disappointing first impression. We also experienced some challenges with transportation during our stay. The resort indicated they would help us arrange taxis as needed, but instead they repeatedly relied on the same driver, which nearly left us stranded one evening. Fortunately, the organizers of one of our excursions introduced us to Gregori Henriquez Transport. Their Kumbai app made scheduling rides incredibly easy, and the drivers were consistently punctual, often arriving early, and very accommodating. As two women traveling alone, having reliable transportation gave us tremendous peace of mind. The only other issue was our room temperature. It was extremely cold, and despite trying to adjust the thermostat, nothing changed. When we contacted the front desk, we were simply told to "play with it," which was not helpful. After requesting maintenance, we learned that the thermostats were not actually functional and had to be manually adjusted using tools and a ladder. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay. Kontiki Beach Resort is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, and beach events, making it an excellent home base for exploring Curaçao. I would absolutely recommend the resort, but I would skip the private airport transportation and arrange transportation independently instead. This version keeps the review balanced by highlighting the resort's strengths while providing constructive feedback about the areas that could be improved.

This was my second time staying at The Kontiki. I absolutely love the resort. The proximity to the beach, bars, and restaurants are superb. I was also very pleased with the customer service at the resort. This time I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was a nice size and equipped with all the necessities. There were a few things in the apartment that were old/dated and need to be cleaned or removed. For example, the couch in the living room area was extremely dirty to the point that I refused to sit on it. There were also several large marks/holes in the walls throughout the apartment which also could use repair. These things brought down the luxury feel of the space to more of a low budget motel. Other than that, the other furniture and accents in the apartment was very nice including the large wooden dining table, adequate closet space, and walk in shower. Brunch up at Mood Beach is a must! So much fun every time! Overall, I love The Kontiki and I will be back however, I will choose a different room type.

We loved the room and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It was very calming and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of the highlights was the beach, where it was always easy to get a chair since they were reserved for hotel guests—a really nice touch. The food and beverages at the beach club were excellent, making it convenient to enjoy lunch while spending the day by the beach. Breakfast was also delicious, with a great variety of options that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

My first time at The Kontiki Curacao, Incredible, heartwarming,friendly. This whas our honeymoon, the room whas decorated with ballons and champagne, later that week i organized flowers voor the wife also that came in the room all made posible by the lady at the front desk. So for is us whas it a incredible vacation and honeymoon.

The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile. Angelo was exceptional. He consistently checked on me, provided better directions for my excursions, and even called my destination to help me. His and all of the Front Desk team members customer service made a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the accommodations partially did not match the service. The TV signal was unreliable, the internet was too slow to complete my homework efficiently, and my room was not properly cleaned every day. Angelo and the staff deserve recognition, and with some improvements to housekeeping, maintenance, and internet service, this could be a more amazing place to stay. Guests should also be aware to bring their own adapter to charge their electronics and that you’re not going to leave.

It was my/ our first time to the island & we loved it. The hotel was nice & the rooms were really nice. Only major complaint was food after 6. There was nothing on the resort to eat you had to go elsewhere or hit the town to eat. I do wish the beach chairs had serious black spots please clean them

Overall 7/10! The grounds were beautiful and nicely kept. The room was clean and comfortable. The views were peaceful and the staff was always helpful. Areas of improvement: Although the rooms were very aesthetically pleasing, the engineering was terrible. The shower water constantly ran over onto the room floors. The soaker tub leaked from the back, and it was a constant battle to shower with hot water. The in-suite pool was not cleaned and the sinks in the rooms clogged after running water longer than 10 seconds. We traveled from the states and also had to rent a connector for the outlets to charge all necessities because the sockets were all foreign and didn’t support our devices or flat iron. The resort communicated through whatsapp and their responses were automated as if the issues we had were very common. Through out our stay there were parties going on for the FIFA World Cup which greatly inconvenienced us. Our room was blocked on both sides and we were instructed to walked through itchy leafy bushes. Additionally, outside guess from all over were allowed to enter the resort all night which made safety questionable. The beaches closed at 7pm ( we visited Mon-Thur) and shops also closed really early.

I had an outstanding experience at the Kontiki Inn, thanks to Hensley in Guest Services. From the moment we arrived, Hensley was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. He went above and beyond to answer our questions, accommodate our needs, and ensure everything was taken care of with a smile. Excellent customer service like Hensley's is hard to find, and he truly made our visit memorable. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail reflect incredibly well on the Kontiki Inn. Thank you, Hensley, for making our stay such a great experience we look forward to coming back!

This was an amazing experience the hotel is located in a prime location not too far from anything. Our room was clean and the staff were very attentive and kind. Hensley our concierge was extremely helpful when and always made sure we were taking care of. Lysander was funny, kind, and very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for the island. The hotel had the perfect atmosphere whether you are here to relax or have a good time. You can hear the dj through the night from your room but if you are a light sleeper it will not be a problem the hotel provided complimentary ear buds and eye mask for sleeping. It is worth every penny and I will be returning. The plunge pool cleaning service and nightly turn down were an unexpected touch that I have not experienced at any other hotel.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf bij The Kontiki Hotel Curaçao. De locatie is top, de parkeergelegenheid is prettig en de voorzieningen in het hotel zijn uitstekend. Wat voor ons echt het verschil maakte, waren de medewerkers. Hun humor, gezelligheid en behulpzaamheid hebben ons verblijf extra bijzonder gemaakt. We voelden ons ontzettend welkom en kijken met veel plezier terug op onze tijd hier.

The Kontiki has beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was extremely clean, the grounds were well cared for, the beach was amazing and we never had any issues getting a sunbed. The pools are gorgeous and never have many people in them so it is great if you want less people around. All of the staff was super kind and friendly. Maid service was great. We opted for the included breakfast and it was well worth it. It is in walking distance to many beachfronts as well as restaurants and shops to browse. Should we ever return to Curacao, we definitely will stay at The Kontiki again. We loved our stay! There were only two things we didn't like, one was that you had to go all the way to the front desk to get a fresh beach towel each time you needed one. There really should be a towel hut out by the beach for convenience. The second was that the hotel does not have small washcloths. They leave fresh hand towels and bath towels in the room daily, just no washcloths. Luckily we had disposable face towels that we brought and were able to use as washcloths through the week as they were thick and durable and the same size as a regular washcloth so they worked perfect for us.

Everything was perfect. Clean room, staff is very friendly. Beach is clean and you can use the sunbeds for free. There is a lot of different choises for dinner, and everything was delicios. We will defitnetly come back.

So called resort was adequate at best. This is not a resort and if so does not even come close to resorts we have stayed at. The unit we stayed at-#25 could use a total make over. It was very outdated and ran out of hot water in the shower. It is concrete and stucco and feels like you are in a basement and had a funky musty smell. We won’t be back.

Although a nice place, the rooms could be lighter and brighter. The beds were twin, with a top pad on them. Not so comfortable but still a spacious room. It was an average resort. The initial greeting was weird with the lady with the eye glasses (shown in the below picture). She didn't come as very friendly. At some points, kinda rude. All other staff was very friendly.

De kamer zelf was ruim, een mooi balkon erbij en een mooi uitzicht. En dan zag ik nog niet eens de zonsondergang. Lekker dichtbij het strand en fijn personeel bij Cabana, zowel als de nachtportier en Danesh die me heel fijn heeft geholpen met m'n koffers. Ook de dames van huishouding of personeel die ik tegen kwam op het hotelterrein waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het was een opstapeling van frustraties door onoplettend personeel, slechte communicatie en een bizar gebrek aan hospitality voor deze prijs. Omdat ik te vroeg was voor het inchecken liet ik mijn koffer alvast achter; die zou naar de kamer worden gebracht. Toen ik rond 22:30 uur terugkwam, was de receptie onbemand—iets waar het personeel me vooraf niet voor had gewaarschuwd. De nachtportier hielp me vriendelijk aan een sleutel, maar wist verder nergens van. Eenmaal op de kamer trof ik direct een waslijst aan gebreken aan: vlekken op het beddengoed, water dat omhoog kwam uit de badkamervloer, een lekkende airco en een vieze wc. Oh en m'n koffer lag blijkbaar toch nog ergens verstopt bij de receptie. Toen ik dit de volgende ochtend benoemde, reageerde de receptie veels te lauw. Geen excuses, geen "dit is zeker niet de bedoeling", maar gewoon "dan gaan we het regelen". Omdat een echte check-in ontbrak, moest ik zelf naar basisinfo vragen. Roomservice bijvoorbeeld, het regelen hiervan bleek moeilijker dan gedacht. Het moest via WhatsApp, de receptionist zou me een bericht sturen. Drie keer raden wat er gebeurde. Drie herinneringen via Booking.com en 24+ uur later, met telkens een belofte die op niets uitliep, vond ik het nummer uiteindelijk zelf via een QR-code op een hotelplattegrond. Ik heb niet eens meer besteld. Waarom zou ik dat doen met zulke service? Oh en woensdagavond kon ik het Mula B. concert buiten zo luid horen dat ik de teksten letterlijk kon verstaan. 'Pijp uit' is best catchy. Het stopte gelukkig rond middernacht, maar ik vraag me oprecht af hoe de herrie is als je vlak bij het strand verblijft. Bij het uitchecken reageerde de dame met: "Maar is het daarna wel geregeld?" en "Ja, echt goed dat je het wel laat weten hoor!". Alsof het er allemaal niet toe deed. Echt onwijs teleurstellend. Zero accountability. Zo'n mooi hotel met een flink prijskaartje en dan zulke service... I'm good, thanks.

The resort is beautiful and in a great location, however, the staff are not friendly. My experience is that only 50% of the staff were nice, warm & accommodating. The room and bathroom was not cleaned as well as I expected for a 4 day stay. Staff were rude and very snappy. Overall, the experience could have been better. I will be back to Curaçao but I will NOT be back to Kontiki.

We went to the Kontiki on our honeymoon. We had an ocean suit and absolutely loved it. Check-In was amazing with the staff and we enjoyed how clean and nice the entire resort was. Food at Mood beach was amazing while we had an afternoon snack and we really loved the beach vibe. The Cabana Club breakfast was pretty good and we really enjoyed all the service. It's true, it's a little loud on Friday and Sunday evenings so just be aware but those parties were very fun and worth a visit. Definitely worth another visit while staying in Curacao.

This resort was great, my friends and I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and no complaints about the property/ rooms. Locations was also perfect and just 20 mins or so from the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time. The all of the front staff is awesome. They are very friendly and helpful. Lysandra was a hard worker. She was always happy and is very nice. She helped with everything we needed.

Let me start off by saying, BOOK THE TRIP. This was the most beautiful property we’ve stayed at in a while. From the staff, to the food, to the ambiance, it is unmatched. Every staff member on the resort is attentive and kind. Starting off with Lysandra, who did such an amazing job at explaining the features of resort. We owe her a BIG thank you as we received a complimentary upgrade to one of their luxury sea view suites!!! It was beautifully decorated and had a shower in the middle of the room… very romantic. Not to mention the balcony with a pool had a terrific view of the beach. The room was very clean, along with all the common areas of the resort, including the restrooms by the beach. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough! Another shoutout to Hensley, who was so kind to us in showing us to our room and answering any questions about the property we may have had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here at The Kontiki Beach Resort. We will be booking again.

Convenient location, multiple options

Great resort.. they welcome you with a fresh coconut and each room has a beach bag with two pairs of slippers in it for you to use and take home! Very satisfied with the resort overall very clean nice wraparound deck that you can sit on.. fresh coffee all day long by the main lobby and very good. staff was pleasant and they were not aggressive about asking for tips. most times in the Caribbean they harass you for tips they did not at all.

I went here for my birthday vacation with my boyfriend. We had a great time the hotel is beautiful atmosphere amazing beach vibes was awesome mambo beach strip was great the food was amazing. The hotel just needs to work on the beds putting two twin bed together to make a queens was not cool but I was great. We had a blast!!!!

We stayed at the luxury suites overlooking the ocean. View was beautiful. There is a lovely balcony with a pool. However the pool water was dirty and i never used the pool. Kings Day and Wedneday Cabana night had music blasting until midnight. Pillows were soft with no support. Toilet paper was rough for a luxury hotel. Service was slow and we were often ignored at the restaurants. The service did not match the amount paid for the suite. Service was not compatible with a 5 star resort. Only staff that stood out was Angelo in Guest Relations. Even the lady on the Activities Counter would not provide advice unless you book a tour with her!!

The Kontiki has the best beach section of Mambo beach. The sunbeds are big and comfy. Their unique feature is the sea water swimming pools spread between the luxury units. Most of the day you have the pool to yourself and the iguanas! So you get great hotel facilities at a top location. The only thing we did not like was the breakfast, overpriced and small portions.

I genuinely had a great stay here and I don’t say that lightly. The hotel itself is beautiful the beach, the pools, the views all top tier. The staff were excellent throughout, very welcoming and attentive, and the gym honestly surprised me. It’s one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used, which made a big difference for me. The only downside for me personally was the bed. It just didn’t suit my body at all and ended up causing some lower back discomfort during my stay. I understand that comfort is subjective and not every mattress works for every guest, but it did impact my sleep. That said, this is absolutely a place I’d come back to. I really enjoyed everything else about the hotel and would love to return I’d just hope for a different room or mattress setup next time. Overall, a great experience with just one thing that could be improved.

I asked for a late check out and the response was “ See you at 11:00am at the front desk” which was very rude. I only asked to check out for 11:30AM. Also, picking up the towels in the front desk it is ridiculous. My room was all the way to the beach so I had to do all that walking to get the towels. THEY SHOULD BE BY THE BEACH NOT THE FRONT DESK.

We loved The Kontiki! The facility is amazing, the staff were very friendly, the food is fantastic the Bluemax gym is top quality. The beach is the best in the area! The beach chairs are outstanding and service so great. Staff are so friendly. Rooms are clean and cleaning service is fantastic. Wed and Sunday are the entertainment nights, we didn't mind the music and enjoyed the background music at bedtime.

Cannot wait to go back, was the trip of a lifetime, and I am grateful to the staff who made it possible. Cheers kontiki, dushi Curacao!

I stayed in the Beachfront suite. Amazing experience and feet's away from all the beach clubs. I love having my own private pool. The floating breakfast add on was also amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and view but not a luxury hotel. The beach is beautiful, warm, and quiet. The rooms are spacious and connect to stunning salt water pools. The beach massage station overlooks the water, and you can have dinner overlooking the dock every night. It is gorgeous, but the problem is everything looks run down. The beach chairs have mold and nobody seems to clean them. We got to the beach at 10 am, and every chair was covered in sand and trash surrounded the chairs presumably from the night before. The flags are torn and faded. Our credit cards only worked on half of the machines for no known reason. The front desk workers are fantastic and knowledgeable, but the rest of the service staff seem to hate their jobs. As a 2 person group, we never had a meal shorter than 2 hours. You constantly watch groups of 4-5 people standing around talking. Most of the time when I made eye contact with servers they would just look away. Every time we sat for a meal we waited 10-15 minutes before even getting glasses of water. We reserved private cabanas every day (due to the dirty chairs), and after they first bring over your water and fruit, they never come back. We stayed for 6 hours at the beach one day and had 2 drinks. Both times we had to go to the bar and ask so we stopped asking. We would have spent much more money if people offered us food and drinks. It’s genuinely infuriating. The prices are slightly high but not completely unreasonable. It’s overall a fine hotel but NOT a luxury experience.

The water got cold fast

This “luxury resort” fell far short of expectations. We stayed in the Penthouse suite, which felt more like a basic apartment than a premium experience. Upon arrival, the refrigerator was completely empty—no drinks or refreshments—and only two small bags of chips were provided. Each bedroom had just two bottles of water, which felt inadequate for a high-end stay. There were multiple maintenance issues: exposed electrical wiring in the master bedroom, malfunctioning thermostats, and inconsistent air conditioning (the master room was warm while the other was freezing). Lighting throughout the rooms and bathrooms was also poor, especially with the dark finishes. One bedroom had two full beds pushed together, still smaller than a queen. Additionally, the master bedroom is located next to two beach clubs, making it extremely noisy before midnight—far from relaxing. Customer service was inconsistent, with some staff unable to answer basic questions. Positives: the views from the penthouse were beautiful. Raksha (Assistant Manager) was responsive, and Hensley from guest services was excellent and very helpful. Overall, I would not recommend this resort. It seems more focused on charging guests for extras than providing a true luxury experience.

The Kontiki luxury resort is a resort no luxury. The staff is friendly and does their best to help guests. The administration seems to be a problem. The leadership has failed to train the staff properly or give them resources to help the guests. They have also failed to help the staff create a luxury resort. We stayed in the penthouse house suite. There was an electrical outlet with wires out of the wall which posed a hazard. The penthouse suite did not have many amenities such as water, toiletries etc. One of the tropical superior rooms reserved earlier in the room had termites. I found the wood dust on my bed, bathroom and luggage. I would recommend passing on this resort

De locatie is prachtig. Mooie kamers en mooi aangelegde omgeving! Voorzieningen zijn top!

De gebouwen zijn van hout waardoor het allemaal extreem gehorig is! Zowel van naast als van boven hoor je elke stap, de tv, het toilet, etc etc... Gesprekken kan je letterlijk volgen. Nachtrust is daarmee in de kamers op de beganegrond erg lastig... Verder kon de vriendelijkheid van het bedienend personeel op het strand ook beter. Als ze al langs kwamen voelden wij ons bijna bezwaard om iets te bestellen.

Kamer was volgensmij voor iemand anders bedoelt, er stond een kaartje met een hele andere naam en er was schimmel in de slaapkamer. Dingen waren half afgewerkt!

El hotel es muy bonito, con jardines preciosos y varias piscinas naturales entre medio. La zona de playa tiene camas muy cómodas y está justo en Mambo Beach. La habitación y baño son muy amplios, con una terraza también muy grande. La cama muy cómoda y el aire acondicionado funciona perfecto. Sábanas y toallas perfectas.

La limpieza de la habitación podría ser un poco más detallada. El suelo faltaba repasarlo a diario y la ducha se notaba que no la limpiaban en profundidad cada día.

Geweldige locatie, fijne mensen op alle afdelingen en ook genoeg mensen. Loungebed en watertje wat tussen de huisjes doorloopt is heerlijk relaxing.

Je hebt behoorlijk geluid tot 24u op bepaalde dagen. Eerste dag was niet fijn vanwege reisdag want dan ben je natuurlijk moe maar daarna zijn we er maar gewoon naartoe gegaan haha.

I wouldn’t book here again. Room 6201 It was extremely noisy. I came on vacation to relax. And that didn’t happen. From the parties that end at 12 midnight but you can still hear people congregating until like 2am. Then you can hear workers talking loudly and pushing trash bins under the Blue Maxx Gym at 5am. Not worth the money. Also, after venturing off… we would come back to the VIP beach area and staff would have an attitude since we came late at 4:50p saying “we close in an hour”. Ok let me enjoy my hour. SMH If I could upload videos you would understand what I mean about the noise.

The view from our room was really beautiful. We had the suite with the pool right outside, and at night it was lovely, and during the day it was a good spot to relax. It was not noisy, though I wish had a chance to be there the night they had their night life party.

El hotel es hermoso y ubicado en Mambo Beach, sobre el Cabana Beach Club (el mas lindo de la zona). Es una zona de gran movida nocturna y centros comerciales. El hotel.tiene personal muy.amable, bella decoracion y supero mis expectativas.

La limpieza del baño podria haber sido mejor, dado que encontramos pelos del.huesped anterior en la ducha.
