We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! We got a spacious, luxurious two-story room that came with its own private pool and Jacuzzi, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself features five wonderful pools. The entire staff was so courteous and friendly—special thanks to Maria at the reception, who answered all our questions with a big smile and provided truly excellent service. Location-wise, it’s perfect, right near a vibrant street filled with plenty of shops. Highly recommended!"

Everything was excellent; there is a choice of five pools, and the food—served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was varied and delicious. There is an adjoining beach, and the sea is wonderful, with crystal-clear water. A 25-minute bus ride takes you to the harbor and Old Town area—a beautiful spot for a day trip, filled with souvenir shops, restaurants, and cafes.

There was a good selection of pools so it wasn’t too over crowded. I enjoyed that the gym was open 24/7 and the food was lovely and good quality.

Unfortunately we experienced several power outages throughout our stay which meant the air con wouldn’t work for several hours at a time causing our room to become hot and uncomfortable. The lights and charging ports also would not work during this time meaning we were unable to charge devices etc. We also experienced a water outage one morning just before we checked out which was inconvenient when trying to shower and freshen up before our flight.

La struttura è molto bella, si affaccia sul mare di Porto Platanias, il mare è pulito,trasparente e in alcuni giorni cristallino e la spiaggia privata è piccola e pulita. Con la mezza pensione, abbiamo avuto gratuitamente il servizio spiaggia per i giorni di permanenza (altrimenti il costo per ombrellone e due lettini è 15 euro). La camera familiare (appartamento) é su due piani, confortevole e grande, ha un piccolo angolo cucina, due terrazze e due bagni. Ottimo il poter scegliere tra due tipi di guanciali per dormire. In bagno ci sono i dispenser per lo shampoo,il bagnoschiuma e una crema corpo. Il servizio di mezza pensione è eccezionale, ricco e variegato, per tutti i gusti. La pulizia delle stanze è meticolosa e puntuale: tutte le mattine trovavamo la stanza profumata e pulita e senza l'ombra di un granello di sabbia. Ci sono diverse piscine nella struttura, di varie dimensioni. La piscina centrale nella piazza è quella più grande e di profondità maggiore. Durante tutto il periodo di permanenza non abbiamo mai avuto problemi a trovare lettini liberi né sulla spiaggia nè in piscina.

La vacanza è piaciuta a tutta la famiglia ma onestamente ci sono diverse cose che non sono all'altezza di un hotel 5 stelle. In primis l'accoglienza non è stata delle migliori: sono stati educati ma freddi. Al check in, alle mie domande sugli orari dei ristoranti e delle attività mi è stato risposto in maniera spiccia che avrei trovato tutte le informazioni in stanza. Peccato che le informazioni in stanza si trovano sul menù della tv e sono piuttosto essenziali. Le informazioni sulle attività della struttura e sull' animazione sono contenute in pochi depliant attaccati su pochi punti della struttura e non sono sufficientemente pubblicizzate. Avevamo scelto la struttura, pensando ci fosse anche l'animazione per i bambini e invece è limitata a mezz'ora di baby dance dalle 20 alle 20.30. Nella scelta della struttura abbiamo preferito un hotel al villaggio perchè non ci piace quando l'animazione è troppo invadente, ma in questa struttura è stata veramente basica. L'ultima cosa da segnalare è la scomodità dei materassi dei letti: nella camera matrimoniale c'erano due letti singoli, con materassi in cui si sprofondava mentre il divano letto per i ragazzi aveva due materassi durissimi.

Great pools and drinks, nice staff for the most part.

1. Many things are with extra paid despite the all inclusive deal. Most annoying was the capuchino (!!!) And the hotel water park. 2. No baths and no facilties to wash babies. 3. Very expensive late check out !!

I very rarely write reviews, but now the situation forces me. We had the worst vacation ever. The rude behavior of the staff spoiled everything from the very beginning. We were not given an extra bed that was on the agenda, motivating it with the rules of settlement. The "misunderstanding" was resolved by paying an additional 2250 euros for a room that we did not even enter. We would not have stayed in this hotel in any case, but became hostages of the situation (we had already paid for the room, and there were no free places in other hotels nearby). We were with three children, and the manager at the reception (just think!) demanded that someone take one of our children - then he would settle us. HORROR!

The location was great, right in front of the beach and walking distance to the town which is right outside the hotel. Close to the city of Chania which can be reached by bus, bus stop to the left of the exit of the hotel on the opposite side of the road, literally a 3 min walk. The hotel has many pools, the adults only should definitely be tried out if you are looking for a moment of tranquility. Booking with booking.com, we were given free sun beds for the whole family throughout the entire vacation, that was definitely a plus, all in all a great experience.

The half board option at dinner does not include any drinks whatsoever, and even water has to be paid for. I would add more food options, it was mostly the same, not many local dishes and a lot of meat…

The washroom window was broken. We couldn’t open it for a little ventilation. I didn’t like that we had to pay for beach bits. I thought it was included.

חדרים גדולים, נקיים. ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומגוונת, צוות נהדר. מקום מתוחזק ברמה גבוהה, המלון היה בתפוסה מלאה ולא הורגש, לא ברעש ולא בעומס.

חסר ממש שאין מכונת קפה בחדרים. ספא במלון בתשלום נוסף של 25 יורו לאדם. אין מזגנים בלובי ובחדר האוכל.

Proximity to the beach

Packed and nearly impossible to find sunbeds by the pool.

One of the best things about the hotel is its central location in the bustling town of Platanias, offering a lively nightlife alongside a fantastic variety of shops and dining options. Guests can enjoy a tranquil, picturesque beach with stunning views right at their doorstep, all while being a 30-minute drive from the Old Town and just an hour away from the breathtaking beaches of western Crete.

One of the most important aspects for me personally is the quality of service, and regrettably, the hotel failed miserably on this front. The staff, including the front desk, were unsmiling and polite behavior was nowhere to be found. They provided no basic assistance whatsoever, making me feel entirely unwelcome throughout my stay.

Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personal. Gode basseng, med et stort nedkjølt basseng som var fantastisk i varmen! Veldig nærme en fin sandstrand.

Litt slitasje, blant annet i spa. Dårlige solstoler på strandet.

All inclusive var ikke verdt pengene. Maten var ikke bra, og det samme gjaldt vin, øl og tilbudet i snackbaren og baren. Personalet i restauranten virket lite engasjerte. Heldigvis er det mange gode alternativer rett utenfor hotellet. Det var også merkelig at solsengene ikke er inkludert. Resepsjonen opplevde vi som lite behjelpelig og uinteressert. Rommene var helt OK, men noe utdaterte. Alt i alt er hotellet helt OK og all inclusive ikke verdt pengene.

Tout était presque parfait : le personnel, la propreté et la gestion des lieux, organisation des repas, etc… Pas de difficulté pour trouver un transat près d’une des 5 piscines, piscines réservées aux adultes ou aux enfants mais aussi espaces partagés : il y en a pour tous ! Et l’accès direct à la plage privée également Mention spéciale pour le buffet avec énormément de choix et possibilité de manger équilibré chaud ou froid tous les jours pour toute la famille et surtout tout était très bon ce qui est rare !

Petit bémol pour le bruit des meubles sur le sol le matin ou le soir dans les chambres attenantes et la demi pension qui ne permettait même pas de prendre une carafe d’eau, toutes les boissons étaient payantes le soir Attention contrairement à ce qui laissent penser les photos l’accès à l’aquapark (toboggans) n’est pas inclus dans le prix si vous logez au Resort & Spa, il se situe au niveau du Village Resort qui est de l’autre côté de la route et qui fait partie du même groupe mais qui est un hôtel différent

The suite with a private pool was just perfect for our family. I loved that we were also able to walk out the front door and have lots of access to many shops and restaurants. Finally, the all-inclusive option was a bonus for us and the food was terrific. I loved how family friendly it was and hope to come back.

Beach chairs were taken up at the pools very early. We were thankful we booked a suite with the pool.

La cercanía, a la playa, las instalaciones en general. el personal de los bares. La variedad en el buffet de desayuno era muy bueno.

La información de los servicios incluidos y los servicios extras (de pago) podría ser un poco mas detallado. Uno de los motivos por elegir a este hotel fue porque vimos en las fotos que la piscina tenia toboganes y actividades para los niños pero al preguntar por esos servicios, nos informaron que eso era en otro hotel a lado y con pago de entrada. A parte, al comentar con recepción que esa información no era muy clara, una empleada se puso muy desagradable. Otro asunto muy decepcionante fue que nunca, ningún día de la estancia, conseguimos hamacas y no podíamos aprovechar las piscinas, hasta a ultima hora de la tarde.

Middagsbuffén var fräsch väldigt variationsrik, bättre än de flesta All In Clusive hotell jag varit på. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsamma. Rum och alla faciliteter är är rena och välstädade. Fräscht hotell. Skönt att en av poolerna var mycket svalare då vi bodde på hotellet i augusti, som var mycket varm.

La habitación era muy amplia, cómoda y limpia. El personal del hotel muy amable. Nuestra estadia incluía paquete all inclusive, con comidas en buffet, siempre muy fresca y sabrosa. Impecable todo.

I wouldn’t say it is a 5 star hotel, it needs a little improvement and there alot of ants in the rooms.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a private pool that we absolutely LOVED! Spent most of our days there. The reception staff was fantastic as well as the cleaning staff 🙂

The bar staff could be a bit more polite and fun. We felt like we were ruining their day by asking for drinks etc. Even though we had paid for the all inclusive package. Some of them were great but most were not having fun at work 🙂

The location was very good, especially with the great choice of restaurants in the nearby old village. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we also enjoyed the pool area. Our return flight was quite late, and we really appreciated being allowed to continue using the beach and pool facilities after check-out.

overall the hotel did not feel like a 5-star property. The breakfast quality was below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel, particularly the coffee and juice. We stayed in room 1606, which felt quite old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The shower and some parts of the accommodation also did not feel as clean or well maintained as expected.

Evening Entertainment was poor. Please remove guests choice of songs, very lazy approach from the entertainment team to create some vibe…and also Friday is there day off! .. most important day for entertainment in my opinion. Karaoke good, bingo good, it encourages the audience. Maybe think about having a comedy night. Snooker- Pool competitions. I understand your location within the area I is limited sadly but Theatrical performances, firework displays on the beach front would engage everyone as well as local businesses. Food was Same every day. Keep the Greek food as a normal, but each day perhaps advertise, different cuisines every other day, for example, sushi Monday, Italian Tuesday, Chinese Wednesday, English Roast Dinners Thursday, Friday- Saturday standard Greek, Sri Lankan curries Sunday? This creates such a vibe and something to try and look forward to as a guest. Room 1610 very old fashioned. Showers & accommodation had a dirty feel. If modernised like 1131, hotel is onto a winner.

The hotel was centrally located and had many pools that the kids loved exploring. You also had access to the facilities of the nearby hotels of the same group, like the waterpark, which was not part of this hotel. The room had an upstairs room which was good for privacy for the parents and there was a gym and spa, which was also a plus. Breakfast selection was very good.

The room was completely impractical and very basic. For the money, you would expect a lot more to be honest. There were no hooks anywhere to hang the towels, not even the face towel, so everything ended up in a corner on the floor. No coffee table to catch some things from going on the floor and only one chair in the room that was crowded with clothes, books, towels etc for the entire stay. The upstairs room didn't have a bin, so if you wanted to throw something out you had to go down the stairs. Imagine doing that in the middle of the night. This was a room for four. I would like to suggest to the management to spend a couple of days in the room to get a feel of what that's like and make improvements accordingly. Another thing that was really a grave misrepresentation on the booking site is this: It has pictures of the waterpark as part of the hotel implying that these are part of the hotel amenities. In fact, the waterpark is part of the nearby hotel and you need to pay extra. I could have booked Platanias Village and also saved a 1000 euro in the process as it is a cheaper venue.

Lå dejligt på stranden og som ligger lidt i læ af molen. God varieret morgenmad med god udsigt. God beliggenhed i forhold til spisesteder. God service. Nogle værelser ligger rigtigt trælst med små terrasser. Men fint og lækkert hotel, som forøvrigt fjerne håndklæder ved poolen der lå for længe.

لمكان جميل والمرافق جيدة ولكن نحن حجزنا الغرفة على أساس المكتوب في وصفهم بأن سياستهم مع الأطفال سرير مجاني وعندما وصلنا إلى الفندق اجبروني ان ادفع 300 يورو زيادة على الذي دفعته مسبقا واجبروني ان أخذ جناح بدل الغرفة من اجل ابني الصغير وكان الطعام في المكان سيء جدا إلا الإفطار كان مقبول وكانت معاملة الاستقبال غير لائقة

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία δίπλα σε παραλία. άριστος μπουφές ο καλύτερος που έχω συναντήσει μέχρι τώρα. Πεντακάθαρο.

Πολύ χτισμένο, διάσπαρτες πισίνες, αδύνατον να βρεις ξαπλώστρα στις πισίνες παρόλο που πήγαμε τέλη Ιουνίου, αν βρίσκαμε θα βρίσκαμε διάσπαρτες και σίγουρα ήταν πάρα πολύ δύσκολο έως ανέφικτο να είμαστε δίπλα όλη η οικογένεια, δηλαδή 4 ξαπλώστρες. Αυτό ειναι και το μοναδικό σημαντικό όμως μείον του ξενοδοχείου, γιατί περιφερόμασταν μέσα στη ζέστη, ενώ δεν μπορούσαμε να κολυμπήσουμε ούτε στη θάλασσα λόγω αέρα και κόκκινης σημαίας.

Parco acquatico esterno e a pagamento! 15 € a persona con solo quattro scivoli e una mini piscina per i bimbi piccoli…Prezzo spropositato e comunque esterno alla struttura. personale della reception e dei bar mediamente poco gentile e disponibile, poca cura della pulizia nelle aree comuni: macchie nei pavimenti, sedie sporche di escrementi di uccelli. Buffet per l’inclusive solo fino alle 17, quando in realtà il momento in cui di solito uno vuole fare uno spuntino è dalle 17 alle 19 (orario aperitivo). Spa solo per over 18. Mini club con attività adatte solo a bambini piccoli. Animazione veramente basica: in tutta la giornata solo un torneo di pallanuoto e una acquagym di 20 minuti.

Ruoka erittäin hyvää ja monipuolista. Ranta myös ihan vieressä todella kiva. Siisteys yleisesti todella hyvä.

Ravintoloiden tarjoilijat ja baarimikot todella väsyneiden oloisia. Moni oli jostainpäin Aasiaa ja vaikutti väsyneiltä ja taitavat painaa todella pitkää päivää.

Great location and out seaview studio room was great. It was hidden from the afternoon sun so that it was enjoyable and not too warm to sit in the balcony there after the day in the sun. The beach was great for families with children and options with various pools was nice and didn’t feel crowded. Good breakfast too!

The noise from the pool and entertainment area could be heard through the entrance door as it was not soundproofed. It usually quieted down after 10-11 pm, so unless one is trying to put the smaller kids to bed before that, it wouldn’t normally be an issue.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Very clean room and the air conditioning was great and silent. With 5 swimming pools to choose from and all of them clean and sun beds excellent and comfortable. We had all inclusive and we never got tired of the food because they have great verity and everything was fresh and nicely cooked. Location was fantastic and amazing to just have to walk a few steps to the beach. We stayed for 8 days, and I would have loved to stay longer!

Hotellissa eri osia sekä useita eri allasalueita musiikin pauheesta rauhalliseen vain aikuisille suunnattuun altaaseen. Varattiin huone allasnäkymällä, saatiin kuitenkin 2mh huoneisto omalla uima-altaalla sekä sisä- ja ulkoporealtaalla. Hotellin kuvat vastaavat todellisuutta. Siivous päivittäin. Hienohiekkainen ranta, jonka aurinkotuolit kuuluivat Bookingin kautta varattuna majoituksen hintaan. Sparkling spa käynti kuului kerran viikon aikana. Majoittujina pääasiassa pohjoismaalaisia aikuisia ja lapsiperheitä. Ravintolassa pöytiinohjaus all inc mahdollisti sopivan pöydän löytymisen myös suuremmille pöytäseurueille. Sijainti erinomainen. Palaisin tähän hotelliin uudelleen.

Man kunde äta frukost fram till 10:30.

Hysteriskt för att få en solsäng vid en pool. Folk ”bokade” med sina handdukar trots att man inte fick. Inte förrän på slutet av resan såg jag hur personal plockade bort handdukar där ingen var på plats.

Good location and beach is easily accessible. All cost is built in which is perfect. The facilities at the beach is all inclusive. Great value for money.

Excellent property location and very warm hospitality by the resort staff. We had an excellent vacation time at Platanias resort and its facilities like swimming pool access, sun bed QR code ordering capability, good activities for children with childcare facility.

Nothing much, maybe the process of some visitors hoarding sunbeds for whole day even when not in active use could be improved by making strict policy or similar.

Posiłki były bardzo smaczne i urozmaicone a personel w restauracji jest na najwyższym poziomie. Bardzo kompetentni i pomocni.

Huone oli tilava ja todella siisti.

Tarjonta aamiaisella oli aika suppea. Aamiastila oli myös aika ruuhkainen. Aurinkopetejä ei uima-altailla oli kovinkaan paljon, ja kaikki tuntuivat olevan varattuina jo yhdeksän aikaan aamulla. Ranta- ja allaspyyhkeitä sai vaihtaa puhtaisiin vain kolme kertaa viikon aikana.

Virkilega fínt hótel, góð þjónusta, vel þrifið, nokkrar mjög fínar sundlaugar, morgunverður ofsalega fjölbreyttur og mjög góður.

Allasalueet ja ravintola

Osa henkilöstöstä voisi olla palvelualttiimpia. Huoneessa ilmastointi tiputti vettä lattialle. Respassa eivät pahoitelleet tilannetta vaan sanoivat vaan että huolto korjaa jossain vaiheessa. Korjasivat kyllä nopeasti, joten siitä plussaa. Allasbaarin henkilökunta voisi hymyillä joskus. Rantatuolit varattiin aina aamulla ennen klo 8, vaikkakin oli kylttejä joka puolella ettei varauksia saa tehdä. Henkilökunta ei tehnyt asian eteen mitään. Lisäksi rantatuolit ovat maksullisia mikä ihmetyttää suuresti, kun kyseessä on kuitenkin hotellin omat tuolit. Rannalla paljon kaupustelijoita jotka häiritsevästi tyrkyttävät palveluitaan.

Μείναμε μία εβδομάδα στο ξενοδοχείο και η εμπειρία μας ήταν εξαιρετική. Οι χώροι ήταν πάντα πεντακάθαροι και το προσωπικό ευγενικό, πρόθυμο να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαζόμασταν. Ιδιαίτερα θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε τον Μιχάλη στη ρεσεψιόν, ο οποίος μας βοήθησε σε πολλά θέματα και μας έδωσε χρήσιμες πληροφορίες για πράγματα που δεν γνωρίζαμε. Ο επαγγελματισμός και η προθυμία του έκαναν τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη. Τα φαγητά ήταν πολύ νόστιμα, με μεγάλη ποικιλία και άφθονες επιλογές, ενώ τα γλυκά ήταν εξίσου εξαιρετικά. Έχουμε μόνο θετικά σχόλια για το ξενοδοχείο, τις υπηρεσίες του και το προσωπικό του. Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα και θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά για τις διακοπές μας.

Siisti hotelli hyvällä rauhallisella sijainnilla. Hotellin ranta oli hyvä hiekkaranta toisin kuin naapurihotellien kalliopohjaiset rannat. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja siivous ensiluokkaista. Hotellin vesiliukumäet oli 13-vuotiaalle mieleisiä. Ne sijaitsevat tuen toisella puolella olevan hotellin alueella ja sisään pääsee 15€ lisämaksulla päiväksi.

Hotellilla on aivan liian vähän aurinkotuoleja ja ne on varattu jo heti aamu seitsemältä. Rannassa pyörii hierojia häiritsevän paljon koko ajan. Tulin huijatuksi kerran. Älä ota puolihoitoa saati all inclusivea. Hotellin lähistöllä on runsaasti hyviä edullisiakin ravintoloita. Taso hotellin bufeessa ei ole kovin korkea. Ruokaa on paljon mutta vaihtelevuus melko vähäistä. Maut suorastaan surkeita. Plaseeraus ontui pahasti: saimme kerran aamupalalla kattamattoman pöydän ja pariin otteeseen sain pyydellä ruokailuvälineitä ja kahvikuppeja.

Meget godt utvalg av mat på frokostbuffeten. Maten var upåklagelig. Frokostsal hadde utsikt over sjøen, og man kunne velge å sitte ute eller inne. Vi hadde på forhånd bestilt et oppgradert rom, men ble oppgradert enda et nivå uten tillegg og med flere tilhørende rettigheter og fordeler.

Hadde absolutt ingen ting å klage over.

Clean hotel. Good food. Entertainment for kids good. Great location. Good sunbeds by pools. Would recommend for families.
