Die Zimmer wurden nicht einmal während 4 Tagen Aufenthalt gereinigt, auch die Tücher trotz unserer Bitte nicht gewechselt. Alle Möbel sind ziemlich abgenutzt.

Sehr freundliche & unkomplizierte Betreuung. Schöner Bau, viel Platz für die Gäste. Grosser Kühlschrank für eigene Lebensmittel.

Die Lage insbesondere die Nähe und der damit verbundene Lärm zum Güterbahnhof. Würde man nicht erwarten, wenn man eine derart ausserhalb der Stadt gelegene Unterkunft wählt. Schade fanden wir auch, dass wir im Vorfeld gemeldet hatten, dass wir kein Frühstück wegen der frühen Abreise nehmen & es selbstverständlich schien, dass dies trotzdem verrechnet wird.

The location was so cute, and breakfast had so many options which was great! Friendly hospitality and the rooms were also great I would definitely come back and stay here!

Die Lage im Wald war sehr schön. Medha hat uns herzlich empfangen. Man hatte das Gefühl nach Hause zu kommen. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind, werden wir definitiv wieder dort übernachten.

Breakfast both comprehensive in options and yet limited at the same time. We made sure we brought dinner options with us otherwise one would have a 5Km gravel road drive back into town.

It was a bit off the beaten track and might be hard to get to and from in the winter if one wanted to go to Kicking Horse ski area. Fine for the Spring/Summer/Fall.

La struttura è molto bella, calda e accogliente, la host è molto carina e premurosa e la posizione è ottima in quanto è molto vicina al centro di Golden.

The hostess was absolutely amazing! So warm and welcoming! The breakfast was wonderful... the homemade yogurt was so yummy! The Lodge was beautiful!

The driveway was long and rough

This hotel is absolutely superb. It's a beautiful building and is set amongst trees with a nice view across the valley. The staff are friendly and can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was a good choice and was plentiful.

If I had to be critical, the hotel was a little bit out of the way. If you want to stay somewhere that has easy access to the restaurants and bars of the downtown area then this hotel probably isn't for you

Het was thuiskomen zo fijn! Wat een prachtig huis zo mooi heel groot en gezellig je krijgt de echte candadeese mountain gevoel. Ik zou er kunnen wonen! Heerlijke kamer met de benodigheden een heerlijk bed. Wij hebben lekker nog een potje yatzee gespeeld in 1 van de gezamelijke ruimte lees gewoon woonkamers. Ontbijt was ook goed de zelfgemaakte yogurt was heerlijk! We baalden dat we niet langer zijn gebleven en op doorreia waren.

Als ik dan toch iets moet zeggen ik kon niet rennen buiten ivm beren. 😄

Beautiful building, and a staff cares much about keeping it nice and clean. We booked one room for 3 people, which obviously didn't offer so much personal space, but there are many shared areas, including a balcony, to use.

Breakfast time is very narrow. If you arrive late, you'd like to sleep a bit longer without missing it. Also, despite being the house remote in the forest, there was some noise in the night like somebody used a chainsaw nearby. It was a bit weird, but fortunately they stopped it before we went to sleep.

Bellissimo lodge, accogliente, pulito, tranquillo, immerso nel bosco. Abbiamo anche visto un orso e una volpe lungo la strada sterrata per raggiungere il lodge. Buona colazione, barbecue disponibile per gli ospiti, possibilità di mangiare nelle aree comuni. Bear spray e after-bite disponibili in prestito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

Se proprio vogliamo trovare qualcosa... Ci sono 4 km di strada sterrata, ma ben tenuta, per arrivare al lodge. Ma ci ha permesso di vedere animali selvatici!

I like that it was out of town but not too far out to be inconvenient. I also liked the common furniture that was set to enjoy the views. I also appreciated the accommodation that was made to provide breakfast for me when I told the hostess that I had to be at work before the posted breakfast time.

What was there not to like? We arrived pretty late and the host was still waiting to personally greet us and give us a tour and share history about the lodge! She is a very kind owner, lovely person and so is the rest of her staff :) The lodge has a nice common area with great views of the mountain, and nice fire place and a cozy interior. Our room was great, spacious and very clean, and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was great, made freshly and clearly prepared with love. We had to cut our stay short because of the wildfires, and the host even offered us a partial refund, we declined cause if not for the wildfires we wouldn’t have left a minute early. If we come back to this area, we would definitely stay here again, and I’d recommend anyone else to do so too :)

Tolle ruhige Lage. Schnell im Ort, schnell in den Bergen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist außerhalb der Stadt, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, weil es so ruhig ist. Das Frühstück war für uns vollkommen ausreichend mit Haferflocken+ Cornflakes, Kaffee+ Tee, Joghurt, Brot, Marmelade+ Erdnussbutter und hart gekochten Eiern. Beim Frühstück haben wir einen Bären gesehen. Ein Kühlschrank sowie ein Grill können benutzt werden.

La situation géographique proche de Golden mais à la fois en pleine nature. La dame qui gère le chalet est adorable et nous a permis un Check in plus tôt. Très belle expérience dans la nature.

Liked the location and the staff.

Didn't like the idea of not wearing shoes. The sandals provided were not comfortable. The stairs going to the first floor are very slippery if only wearing socks. Suggest that a carpet be installed on stairs to prevent any falls.

The place is very peaceful, somewhat far in the nature. The lodge is beautiful, feels very personal, nice big room, clean, good breakfast :) thank you for having us!!

Die Unterkunft liegt abseits im Wald und ist über eine gut ausgebaute Schotterstraße zu erreichen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und das Frühstück ausreichend. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Uns wurden Hausschuhe für den Innenbereich zur Verfügung gestellt. Das ein oder andere Möbelstück könnte jedoch ausgetauscht werden, da es wackelig oder leicht beschädigt ist. Die Deko wirkt etwas zusammengewürfelt.

The host was very welcoming, our room was so quiet and comfortable, the whole place had a relaxed feel, and it was a bonus that we could prepare our dinner on their bbq.

This is a very cute lodge, with a comfy and chill atmosphere (e.g. you're not allowed to wear shoes inside, Asian decor, music and incense). My room had a view to the mountains, and for an even better view I simply had to go to the balcony on the same floor. Breakfast was much better than in other similar places, with many options, some of them even home made. The main issue this place has is its location: On the positive side, I am sure that some people exclusively look for a quiet, remote location in the mountains, far from anything distracting - and this place matches all criteria. I would not hesitant to book it for a writing retreat or something :)

This accommodation comes with crucial fine print. Everything was communicated in advance, so no disappointments on my end, but still this has to be said: 1. Location - the place is close to nowhere, due to a 5 km dirt road which is the only road connecting it to Golden. Since they don't offer dinner, you need to plan this in advance (have a car, eat dinner before arriving, buy groceries, etc.) Also, even if it's closer to the ski area by the crow flight, it will still be faster to reach it from Golden center due to this dirt road. My car was dirty from the powder of this road, and I guess I shouldn't complain as it's probably worse in winter ;) 2. No elevator 3. Cancellation policy - was not an issue for me at the end, but they asked for 2 week notice instead of the usual 1 week most other places ask for. The other thing which as a little bit funny (but again - no real issue at all!) was the stuff invisibility. Check in was at 16:00. At 17:00 they were already not there, with a notice of "in case you missed us". Same for the next morning: I checked out at 9:30 without seeing anyone at the office, so overall have not seen any staff member during my stay. For a place which in any other factor was very homey, this was the one funny exception.

Lugar muy tranquilo. Buena ubicación y atención del propietario (espíritu zen). Cocina común con barbacoa donde poder cenar tranquilos.

Nos gustó todo pero se puede mejorar algo el desayuno, por ejemplo servir embutidos, queso.

旅館雖然有些年代了，但維護得很好，公共空間溫暖舒適，床鋪也好睡。可惜抵達及退房這兩天遇到野火煙霧影響，能見度差，不然窗外風景應該很漂亮。歐陸式早餐及自製的優格也很棒，下次有機會會再來入住。

Lisa, the owner, greeted us and was a very warm and personable hostess. The room was large and comfortable for the three of us. The t.v. and game room was also nice. The breakfast was basic with cereals, bagels and toast.

Don't expect a cooked breakfast. It was a little disappointing for my husband but for our grandson and I, it was fine.

Sehr nettes B&B Konzept mit Gemeinschaftsraum und großen Raum in der Mitte von dem die Zimmer abgingen. Das man die Schuhe vorne ausziehen musste und dann in Schlappen durchs Haus gelaufen ist, empfanden wir tatsächlich als sehr angenehm. Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Super nettes Personal. Das es etwas abgelegen liegt und man 4 km auf einer Schotterpiste hochfährt, wussten wir vorher und haben uns bewusst dafür entschieden. So haben wir sogar noch einen Bär gesehen. Grandiose Aussicht.

Das Badezimmer ist vielleicht schon etwas älter, aber immernoch voll funktionsfähig und sauber. Ansonsten gab es nicht weiter auszusetzen.

Ve společné kuchyňce není tekoucí voda. Snídaně základní. Příjezd po prašné cestě je celkem dlouhý. Okolí by mohlo být víc upravené. Bohužel večer se nedalo venku posedět kvůli komárům, ale za to samozřejmě hostitelé nemohou.

Das Haus war außerordentlich gemütlich und angenehm. Das Frühstück war nett hergerichtet, viel Platz im Haus außerhalb des eher kleinen Zimmers.

Die Zufahrt war lang und die Außenanlage könnte etwas besser gepflegt werden.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer en badkamer waren schoon. Het uitzicht was prachtig.

De accommodatie is zeer aan vernieuwing toe. De inrichting is gedateerd, het bed en de stoelen bewogen als je erop ging zitten en de buitenkant is verveloos en het terras niet onderhouden, wat een armoedige aanblik geeft. Het ontbijt was erg eenzijdig, slechts 1 soort brood (de goedkoopste uit de supermarkt als je het mij vraagt), 1 soort fruit, wat jam en ontbijtgranen.

Lovely lodge-style home with multiple rooms, nice communal feel. Small inclusive breakfast was a thoughtful touch. Amazing views of Mount Seven. Comfortable rooms with charming rustic character (fits the age of the house). Host was kind and helpful throughout.

Appreciated the tour and hostory provided by Lisa upon our arrival. We’d requested, and got, a room with a firm mattress. Yay! We had a good night’s sleep. There are several living spaces for common use, most with magnificent views. A simple breakfast was provided.

The facility wasn’t as clean as we’d expected. Cobwebs noted in several places included dining hall.

Herzliche Begrüßung, tolles Zimmer, alles sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Es war eine Gemeinschaftsküche vorhanden. Auf der Zufahrtsstraße haben wir sogar eine Bärenmama mit 2 Babys gesehen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Frühstück etwas sperrlich wenn man nicht gerade auf Cornflakes steht.

No food or drink on site or restaurant, long gravel muddy path to town with bears, spooky place only one lady there who disappeared, with loads of mosquitos outside. Long way to anywhere without a car Just took one look and decided not to be there! Booked Days Inn instead!

The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the town and local attractions. The building has real character and the breakfasts encouraged conversations between guests. The location is wonderful, serene and the dirt road approach was smooth and well maintained.

There were no real issues. The building is characterful and is not your standard motel on the highway but that was a plus for us and we had a wonderfully relaxed stay.

La pau i la tranquilitat que s’hi respiren, la casa es troba al mig del bosc, apartada de tot, te una vibració especial. L’equip és molt amable. Tenen les instal·lacions netes i cuidades i et fan sentir com a casa. Allà tot resulta acollidor, i tenen un piano preciós que pots tocar. Gràcies per tot. Tornarem!!!

Although quite a distance from town, it was quite doable. Loved that they sent a message prior to advise having dinner before driving out to property. We chose to bring supplies for a snack dinner.

The manager was friendly and eager to make sure you felt welcome and comfortable. Might be good views on a sunny day but nothing special when it is cloudy.

There was no mention of the 3 km gravel road leading to the property in the description That is a big oversight by Booking.com, especially if people don’t want to drive on gravel or it is bad weather and poor road conditions. The rooms are very plain and outdated. The bed was not comfortable and the bedding was just old and worn, not quaint. Soaps and shampoos were in industrial sized pump containers and precariously perched on the edge of the tub. The breakfast was lacking significantly, even for a continental breakfast. Cereal boxes, oatmeal packages, frozen bread for toast, coffee. Considering they advertise the lodge as a bed and breakfast I thought they would make the breakfast something special. Overall a real disappointment considering it is surprisingly rated 8.7 Excellent on Booking.com.

A stay that was unique, peaceful, cosy and very memorable. The long drive in on an icy road into the forest in the middle of winter is not something I will forget. As was the kind and welcoming hospitality by the lovely ladies running the place.
