Jeanie! What an absolute treasure you are! You and Jerry made our time in Golden so extra special, we will never forget how kind and absolutely lovely you both are. You go above and beyond for your guests, your breakfasts are the best and will never be topped! Eerst en vooral was de gastvrouw top. Zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam, zo zouden er meer moeten zijn. De accomodatie zelf was eveneens top, twee grote kamers, living, en kleine keuken waar de gastvrouw ons ontbijt bracht, die dan ook nog eens zeer goed was. En daarnaast was er buiten een jacuzzi, waar we natuurlijk ook van gebruik hebben gemaakt. kortom een droom om daar te verblijven. Een aanrader.

What an amazing place and a very caring host! Thank you Jeannie! We also enjoyed going to the Kicking Horse mountain resort, beautiful panoramic views at the top of the mountain, nice hiking trails, and delicious food at the Eagle's Eye - highly recommended!

Jeannie was an amazing host with beautiful place. We had such a great time and enjoyed everything from the cookie's on arrival, the hot tub and the huge breakfast. We will be back.

Our stay was just amazing! The place is so wonderful, spotless clean and cozy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially muffins. It was a such a pleasure to meet Jeannie and her cat Pepper. Will be staying here again and recommend it to everyone❤️

Ideal stop between Salmon Arm and Calgary. Comfortable property with a private hot tub that was perfect after a long days drive. Beds were comfy and breakfast was tasty…. Thanks Jeannie for the warm welcome!

Can’t fault it. The apartment is lovingly furnished & fitted out to make it a real home from home. It’s super comfortable & Jeannie is a most attentive host. She left a plate of freshly baked cookies when we arrived, a pot of coffee was waiting when we got up, & the breakfast was superb. We were really sorry only to be staying one night.

The Host Jeanie…she is the best person and so helpful. Her place is beautiful, quiet and had everything we needed and more. We arrived early and it was no bother at all, in addition, Jeanie had made us cookies for our arrival 🩷 Jeanie, provides breakfast, and ohh what a breakfast that is! She is a wonderful cook and breakfast is bountiful.

Everything! We felt like we were walking into a home from home. We’d been travelling for a while and walking into Jeannie’s house and being met by such a lovely lady made us feel so at home. It was spotless and homely with a very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Bath robes too! It was like staying at your mum’s house! And what a spread Jeannie gave us for breakfast! My word! Beautiful view from the front of the house looking onto the mountains. The only downside is that we were only there for one night. It was lovely to meet Pepper the cat too ☺️

Absolutely beautiful property with a great view. The hot tub and backyard is wonderful and inside is perfect for a family. The breakfasts are delicious and we could never eat everything. Jeannie is a great host and even went out and got our son a little teddy which he was so excited about!

Jeannie is an excellent host. She really made us feel at home. The breakfast was scrumptious and generous. We travelled with our elderly parents and stayed two nights at Deer Ridge. All four of us loved everything about this B&B including Pepper - the house cat.

Nothing. The only suggestion - although appreciative, we think it would not have been necessary for Jeannie to clean our rooms, made our beds and changed all our towels mid of our two-night stay. It was too much work for her and perhaps, a little unnecessary burden to the environment too.

All the homely comforts and more. A lovely, well furnished apartment. Jeannie is a wonderful host and serves a fantastic breakfast.

Hervorragende und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und reichhaltig. Die Gastgeberin hat es auf unseren Wunsch zubereitet. Die Lage ist ideal wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Wir konnten den Hit Tub benutzen.

Wir sind zufrieden und können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Wir haben nichts auszusetzen.

Jeanine is absolutely lovely and a great host. The hot tub was a great plus after a long hike. I would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet area — easy to relax. The yard was beautifully landscaped and well kept. The new outdoor sitting room was very nice. The space was tastefully decorated and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space to move around. Breakfast was exceptional. There was more food than we could manage, but it was a great variety that suited our sometimes picky eaters.

We had a fabulous night staying at Deer Ridge B&B. Jeannie made us feel very welcome. We've been travelling on a road trip for two weeks and it was by far the best place we stayed. The breakfast was exceptionally good. It's a shame we only had one night.

Jeannie is an absolutely lovely and open hearted person. The self cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything was super clean and the apartment was absolutely cozy! I would absolutely recommend it. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Lovely place to stay, everything you might need. Really friendly. Great breakfast. Beautiful location. Lovely hot-tub. I’d recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet and comfort. We walked into town in the evening which took about 45 minutes and got a cab back.

Jeannie provided the best breakfast every morning, and we had bonus cinnamon buns made by Jerry which were delicious! The view from the hot tub was amazing and we spent a fun few hours at nearby Golden Skybridge park.

A little gem in Golden, a lovely b&b with a well kept garden. Jeannie provides a great breakfast and nothing is too much trouble.

Everything. A large, warm, beautifully furnished property with every comfort provided supplemented with a delicious breakfast. Jeanie was a most hospitable host who managed her property professionally using all her experience and warmth of character. It was partly about attention to detail such as keeping everything spotlessly clean, changing towels each day, or providing a pot of coffee half an hour before serving breakfast.

The lovely Jeannie is a great host. She makes sure that you have everything you need and she welcomed us in person and showed us what's what. Here you have your own separate entrance. There is a beautiful garden and hot tub, which we didn't get to enjoy unfortunately. In the morning, Jeannie came down with a huge breakfast of pancakes, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, maple syrup, yogurt and fresh fruit, fresh croissants, tea/coffee/juice and home-baked cookies. It was too much but it was delicious! We had nice chats with Jeannie and we think she's got a lovely b&b going on. Very caring host. It's perfect for a one night stay on your way through.

The location is in a suburb of Golden and we had to drive about 10 mins to go for dinner, which some folk won't mind (but we had done a lot of driving that day...). This is no fault of the host but there were 100s of mosquitoes that attacked us between the car and the front door!

Our hosts Jeannie and Jerry were wonderful, they were friendly and knowledgeable. We really appreciate their warm welcome and going the extra mile to make our stay wonderful, so much so we didn't want to leave. Jeanne's cooking was perfect. A real treat to have stayed and would definitely stay again if we returned.

We stayed one night at Deer Ridge on our road trip through the Rockies. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, good facilities, we made use of the BBQ. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was really nice, freshly cooked and served in the accommodation. Freshly made cookies given to us on departure which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The surrounding nature is beautiful, the location is convenient, and it feels like home. Attention to every little detail makes it very cozy and welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent. The hosts are lovely people. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to everyone.

Exceptional b & b from start to finish. Jeannie made us so welcome. The accommodation is great with everything you'd need for a longer stay. The breakfast was superb, freshly cooked for us, and took into account dietary requirements, even making some biscuits with almond flour for us.

Beautiful views, hot tub was a great bonus and the breakfast in the morning was delicous! Also the bed was super comfortable! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Jeannie was so welcoming, hospitable, and an absolute joy to talk to. The property is SO CUTE, so clean & after 5 days of camping, we decided to spend our entire day here - perfect for rest & relaxation. The hot tub with the mountain views & a plentiful breakfast - we couldn't of asked for more! We want to come back to stay longer!
