The breakfast should be better

The location is close to town and the freeway. I liked there was a pretty good breakfast and the hotel was pet friendly. The staff was very nice and overall the hotel has a potential to become a 3 star.

The place is in need of an upgrade with newer carpet and some painting it would look a lot better. The tubs need new foot slip strips very dirty from use over long time. Hallway carpet pet stained from over long time non cleaning or updating carpet.

That after booked and payed received email that the pool was closed which was the reason we booked as were travelling with children closing for maintenance on a long weekend poor choice dissapointed for sure

The staff were really great and the breakfast was delicious.

The room we stayed in was very dated and looked really dirty. The carpet had stains and the couch looked so gross I didn’t even want to sit on it.

I liked that the pool had a water slide! There was breakfast in the morning as well. The beds were comfortable. Lots of room in the suites.

Both of my rooms on the 4th floor had an odour that reminded me of skunk. I looked behind the beds and found a water bottle and some antacids someone had left behind so not every part of the rooms gets cleaned. We were in the pool and a staff member stood outside the pool area staring at me and my kids while we were in there. No other hotel has someone like that please leave us alone.

The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options, I thought there would be sausage and bacon but maybe because it was through the week there wasn’t a full breaky .

Great staff and facilities the breakfast was amazing

Our room was located by the ice machine and laundry which made it very noisy and hard to sleep

NO VACANCY FOR COMPASSION: Days Inn Employee Hogging Handicap Spot from Paying Moose Jaw Guest on Canada Day. I asked the front desk Dianne if we can remove the vehicle from a handicap spot that has no permit so others with a permit like me that actually requires it can used it and also a paying customer can use it. I was met with a flat "NO". The next morning as I was having coffee near the front desk, I saw Dianne walking out of the main entrance towards the handicap parking, gets in the vehicle I was complaining about the night before. I shook my head in disbelief as she backs out of the handicap ♿️ spot, smiled and wave as if a big f u in the face of a paying Disabled customer.

Easy location just off the highway. Good breakfast.

The entire place needs remodeling. Carpets in hall were worn out and dirty with main floor muddy.

Convenient hotel well located close to hwy # 1 and 2, museum, restaurants, Walmart. It needs renovations in general, but hotel is clean and with excellent employees offering great service, smiling, informative, helpful, polite. No fitness room. Ok pool and hot tub, and included breakfast. A 2nd paved driveway from service road to hotel is very needed and suggested.

Usually stays in this brand but sadly the experience was not what we expected, initially the moment we open the door of our room 308 the smell of dirty was not good, but we let it pass cause it was only one night and after the concert it was just going to be bedtime, but at the moment of laying down I found something unusual under the sheets for me was a some sort of bug and I went to the front I took pictures and I brought the bug to her and she insisted trying to confuse me that it was not a bug she said it was a seed, good thing I took pictures too, she offered me move rooms but it was too late to do that so we decided to sleep on the other bed… room temperature was not bad but then breakfast was quiet disappointed few things here and there like muffins toast boiled eggs cereal and some bad oranges some apples and a couple of bananas but no meat, then we went to shower and the shower has some mold stains inside the tub… they need to do a lot upgrading and replacing on a lot of things, parking lot is mainly mud not enough of pavement spaces and after the rain that parking lots was super messy and so does the entrance of the hotel very very dirty!

I can not stress enough how absolutely discusted I am of this hotel and the people running it. I am a diamond member of the Wyndham hotel group and I have never in my life been soo insulted by a staff member in a place of buisness. First off when initially checking in to the hotel the girl at the desk told me I needed to have a physical copy of my credit card wich I realized I left at home. Now you would think with technology the way it is I have my credit card on my watch and I also have it on my phone. I also was carrying around all kinds of cash I could have offered for a deposit. None of this was good enough. I stayed in a days inn the previous night in Regina with no issues using my credit card off of my watch so I had questions on why it had to be a physical copy while I was looking for any sort of copy of my credit card I could find. I was actively trying to find something that would work as a physical copy of a credit card at this moment and while I asked some questions about why it had to be a physical copy of my card she said "because that's the way we do things here and if you don't like it the front door is over there!" who says that to any customer in the world never mind a diamond member who is actively trying to find something that would work for her deposit payment? When she said that I asked her why she was giving me the attitude she was and she instantly just said I don't have attitude you do. This lady should not be working in the public and I really wish I got her name. It was Saturday evening when we checked in. I didn't see a name tag anywhere wich most people working front desk jobs have name tags. Moving on though through this same incident. I asked my wife to bring one of her credit cards in because I couldn't find a copy of my own. When she came in to the front desk the other girl working the front desk muttered under her breath to the girl that showed me the front door and said we should just leave. This treatment getting checked in to a hotel as a diamond member is unacceptable and I will never be back to your establishment and I will never recommend it either. Again moving through this same incident. Once we were finally checked in I Recieved a text message from someone at the front desk asking how our room is. I took this opportunity to tell whoever was on the other end just how insulted I was and that they shouldn't treat people that way and that I thought they were rude to put a long story short. I got a reply that said "Stop already. It's been dealt with!" after just telling them just how rude I thought they were treating us I don't think the response I got could have been any more rude to add to the fire. Moving on to the room we got. The second we got into our room we were welcomed with the most hurrendous smell you could think of. I can't even describe what it even could have been. The bathroom faucet had black mould or something black all over it and there were still pieces of soap from a previous renter in the bath tub. Every 2-5 minutes we were woke up to some loud electrical something near by in our room kicking in and out. It honestly sounded like something was shorting out and about to start on fire. The establishment itself. I could say alot about this but I will let my five year old son explain this one for me. As we were walking through the hallway he said to me that this was the dirtiest floor he had ever seen in his life. I think that sums it up. Moving on to the pool area. While a descent little spot the people here watching the place aren't doing their jobs. For one we got to witness some guy bring his daughter into go swimming and thought he was being a little weird next thing you know while this guys little girl is swimming around he was shooting up drugs into himself in front of all the kids in the pool area. And also my 5 year old son was trying to enjoy the water slide while some older kids were getting rowdy in the pool and on the slide. My son went down the slide and one of the rowdy boys came down right after and kicked my son right in the head as he was coming off the slide. My son cried for about an hour after this incedent and could have been alot worse and noone was doing anything about the kids being rowdy so just wondering why is there somone sitting there in the first place if they aren't going to do their jobs and keep order in the pool area. Do I want to recognize staff members? I sure do. I wish I got their names again. But. They two girls working the front desk on arrival should not ever be able to work with the public or they need to be taught how to talk to a human being never mind a paying customer. I also feel like talking to a paying customer especially a diamond member like that while your in a customer service position should be enough to lose your job over. And I would also like to say the young girl watching over the pool should watch over the pool. I have never in my life seen somone shooting up drugs with a needle in the middle of a kids play area. It was discusting to see. I'm sorry for the very negative review but not sorry. This place needs to do better. I am copying this review and I will be posting it to multiple platforms because the way we were treated and the service we got is absolutely discusting and everyone should know what happens here

Convenient location, close to hospital, restaurants, shopping. Building and grounds appeared clean and well maintained. Our stay was 3 nights, Sun-Tuesday nights. Check in was smooth, staff member friendly, hotel not full those days so it was quiet.

Room was old and dated. There was a terrible order around the TV/dresser area. Air-conditioning rattled loudly. It was a ridiculously overpriced room… $200. Common areas were old and dirty as well. Do not recommend

Friendly staff.

Place is not clean. The first room we were put in smelt bad- we were then transferred to another room and it was not great either. Bathroom smelt like pee. And you can tell csrpets aren't vacuumed in halls or rooms regularly. Floors in hallways are very dirty. I dont usually complain but to pay almost $250 for a room- you anticipate a higher level if cleanliness.

The rooms and facility felt dated and were not quite as nice as the photos. Room carpet had stains all over it. Rust was in the tub. Did not feel clean. We picked up the mattress and unfortunately saw multiple bedbugs as well as body hair. We opted not to spend the night and continue our stay. But the staff were extremely understanding and accommodating.

The water pressure was terrible in the first room. The noise from the stair case and between the floors was atrocious. The cleanliness of the bathrooms weren't great and the breakfast was probably the worst I've ver had.

Honestly this hotel should be demolished. Not only is it completely wore out with no recent repairs but it is also unclean. The room had stains all over the carpet so we didn’t want to take our shoes off. There were stains on the wallpaper that looked like food splatter. The outside of the toilet had stuff on it and hair on the vanity and tub. Wallpaper is peeling everywhere, even the finish on the hand held shower is peeling. The hallway and stairway floors were always dirty and plenty of gravel. The main entry mats were completely wore out so you can barely clean your shoes off. We didn’t go into the pool due to the condition of the rest of the hotel. Good thing the staff was pleasant. Too bad they have to work in a property with such dreadful maintenance. We have stayed here a number of times but never again.

There was a mouse in my room, woke me up at 4am on the nightstand. Was not scared when I turned lights on, did not move when I screamed either.

The property needs a facelift. Drab. Carpets need to be cleaned. Not enough choices for gluten free and lactose free needs We were told the ice machine on the floor was broken and needed to be replaced - spend some money and replace it! Kids have no place in a hot tub. That needs to be dealt with better rules and enforced by the pool attendant

Price, general cleanliness

The breakfast is pretty sparse. With no bacon, sausage or much fresh fruit, it wasn't great. Not having a fitness room was disappointing - even a space to move around and do body weight exercises would have been nice during our two night stay. The hotel is clean but in need of some updating and repairs (undulating main floor, sagging front entry floor).

Is a bit dated and needs some touch ups and care , we had numerous issues with our door lock and at one point got locked out to which in the end had to be completely replaced so they had to call in maintenance at 8 o’clock at night. But on the up side of this maintenance was fairly quick. Staff was very understanding, friendly and accommodating.

breakfast - normal days inn breakfast, no separate area for each utensil at the hot food area. Being allergic to eggs it makes it very difficult to eat. No protein for me at breakfast. hotel - you can tell it is old as it is dark and dingy. There was a spill on the floor between the main floor and the elevator and was there before we arrived and after we left.

Room 110 needs complete renovation (upgrade) - Cracked and lifting tiles in the bathroom - sofa-bed upholstery is worn and dirty (threadbare) - furniture is battered and stained - rug needs cleaning or replacing We have photos but your system will not accept them.

Hotel was comfortable enough. Bed and sleeping area were clean and hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good.

Bathroom was not the greatest. Outdated, and not the cleanest. Sink drained extremely slowly and took a little to get a good temp for a shower without either super hot water or really cold water coming out.

My card kept on not working, so I had to keep going back to the lobby to get it rebooted. The pool room was freezing the night of my stay, but It looked like there was something wrong with heating.It seemed better the next day. The breakfast was lame, but I get that it's first come and first serve.
