Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen um China Town und die Stadt zu besichtigen. Auch optisch ist es ein Hingucker. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, welches uns ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade gegeben haben. Sehr guten Frühstück. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank.

We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room was very comfortable. We would especially like to commend Hafis for his caring and thoughtful service. He took great care of my dad, who uses a wheelchair, and made sure that he was comfortable and well looked after. His kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Hafis, and the Liu Men Hotel team, for the warm hospitality!

Il y a des hôtels qui sont agréables, et puis il y a ceux dont on se souvient longtemps. Le Liu Men Melaka fait clairement partie de cette seconde catégorie. Nous avons absolument tout aimé. L’hôtel est magnifique : son architecture, son histoire, les choix de décoration et surtout la qualité de la rénovation témoignent d’un véritable travail de passionnés. Le charme du bâtiment ancien a été remarquablement préservé tout en apportant un confort contemporain irréprochable. C’est élégant, raffiné, chaleureux, sans jamais être ostentatoire. La chambre était parfaite, avec un équipement particulièrement complet, une excellente literie et un entretien irréprochable. Mais ce qui fait aussi la différence, c’est le personnel. De l’accueil au petit déjeuner, en passant par le ménage, nous avons rencontré une équipe adorable, souriante, attentive et d’un grand professionnalisme. Cette qualité de service contribue énormément au sentiment de bien-être que l’on ressent dans cet hôtel. L’emplacement est également idéal : Malacca se découvre très facilement à pied depuis l’hôtel, à deux pas de Jonker street, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de l’atmosphère de la vieille ville, de ses ruelles, de son patrimoine et de ses restaurants. Au final, un séjour que nous avons vraiment adoré. Le Liu Men Melaka est une adresse rare, avec une âme, un vrai caractère et une équipe remarquable. Une très belle découverte et, sans hésitation, l’une des adresses que nous garderons en mémoire de notre voyage en Malaisie. Nous y retournerions les yeux fermés.

It was my 2nd time staying here. I liked the decor of the hotel, the nice scent when you walk into and the location. The Hotel staffs from front desk to housekeeping were friendly and approachable.

L’albergo è molto bello e caratteristico. Le stanze belle e molto fornite di ogni genere di conforto. Bellissime le vestaglie di seta! Lo staff è davvero gentilissimo e disponibile. La posizione è centrale e comodissima per visitare il cuore della cittadina. La struttura fornisce tappi auricolari per il rumore della vita notturna e le preghiere della vicina moschea. In realtà non abbiamo rilevato vociare notturno anche perché la zona più rumorosa è un po’ distante; le preghiere si, ma durano pochi minuti. L’albergo è delizioso!!

La colazione è un po’ limitata. Aggiungerei un po’ di scelta (ad esempio yogurt, porridge, granola, burro di arachidi…)

Es war ein zauberhafter Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns wohl und behütet gefühlt. Das Personal insbesondere beim Frühstück war sehr professionell und Service orientiert. Wir waren unter der Woche und hatten ein Zimmer im 2ten Stock. Wir haben es nicht als laut empfunden! Alles war wunderbar!!!

Staff and location was incredible. They provided so much helpful information ahead of the trip. Complimentary welcome drinks and snacks in the room. The room turned down with dessert was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast had many options. Beds, specifically pillows, were the most comfortable I've had in my 3 months of traveling through Asia so far. The entire staff was amazing but I would love to give a special thank you to the doorman Hafis. He was so kind and welcoming. I loved our conversation about hiking, traveling, and appreciated his local recommendations.

Nothing. I'd read reviews about noise and had earplugs on the side of the bed but noise didn't bother me at all. I had a great night sleep.

The location was exceptional - near to Jonker Walk, but far enough away to be away from the crowds. It had a very peaceful ambience and outstanding cleanliness. As a fairly small hotel, it catered for its guests very well with a range of breakfasts on offer. The room/suite was spectacular and we particularly liked the bath/shower room. The staff were brilliant and always prepared to help in any way possible. It is impossible to mention anyone by name, but the front of house staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff were all excellent.

Perfect location, close to every attraction lıke Jonker street, Melaka river, Stadthuys, museums, antique shops etc. Architecture and interior design is so elegant, a real heritage house design. Kind and helpful staff.

Repetitive noise in the very early hours of the morning due to some equipment running, don’t know exactly what it is. They leave earplugs in the rooms for that, if you are not a light sleeper no problem.

Sehr schöne und stilvoll eingerichtete Haupthalle, wo auch die Speisen serviert werden. Das Personal war ausserordentlich Freundlichkeit und hilfsbereit. Zimmer eher etwas klein, aber ebenfalls sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr bequemes Bett.

Es gibt absolut nichts zu beanstanden.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Liu Men. Besonders die Lage fanden wir genial und das Hotel ist wunderschön. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl und unser Zimmer war sauber und sehr stylisch eingerichtet.

Das Frühstück ist für den Preis nicht angemessen. Was uns zudem gestört hat, ist der Lärm in der Umgebung. Nicht die Strasse oder das Quartier, das weiss man ja, wenn man hier bucht, dass es laut sein kann. Aber während unseres Aufenthalts haben Jungs direkt vor unserer Zimmertür bis 2am Feuerwerkskörper losgelassen. Es klang wie im Krieg und an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Klar, da kann das Hotel in dem Sinne nichts dafür, aber allenfalls müsste hier interveniert werden, das geht so nicht. Wir würden deshalb nicht wieder kommen. Schade.

The location is perfect, close to everything you need in the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very well done in terms of design. The bedroom was comfortable and the inner courtyard was such a highlight.

Everyone is warm and helpful

The location of the hotel was perfect to see all the sights and at the back of Jonker Walk. The initial welcome to the hotel was lovely, with a refreshing drink too. As the hotel was small the ataff knew all guests by name and were accommodating to me being vegetarian. The little treats throughout the after, from the fresh fruit to the before bed snack were wonderful touches. Even the hand fan gift on departure was unexpected.

Shame that there were no hotel bags available for purchase

This is a beautiful hotel in a great spot in Melaka. Staff were lovely, room was large and very clean/comfortable. I think if there are complaints about the noise, people are just being overly critial. We stayed over a weekend, and couldn't hear anything..

Breakfast do with an upgrade but we generally ate out as there its lots of good food around.

We went to Melaka for my birthday. I picked Liu Men from good Google reviews. It is in a very central location. Heritage style boutique hotel with modern amenities to ensure high comfort level. Very clean. Loved the well-designed bathroom including the design/non-slippery shower/bathroom floor tiles. The room is spacious. Loved the little garden from our balcony. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Especially Nazir who helped us with restaurant recommendations & calling them for us. And got coffee for us after breakfast time while we wait for our driver to collect us, on check-out. I will definitely stay here again & I will highly recommend this hotel

Historisches, kleines Hotel mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Alles sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück als Buffet und zusätzlicher Speisekarte.

Die Fenster sind nicht isoliert, dadurch hört man die Moscheen und die ständigen Feuerwerkskörper sehr laut. An Schlaf ist erst ab Mitternacht zu denken. Lag evtl auch am Ramadan.

Der Empfang, die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Servicepersonals, das bei Problemen und Fragen hilfreich zur Seite stand, die Qualität der Ausstattung des Zimmers, das reichhaltige individuell gestaltbare sehr gute Frühstück und die elegante Innenarchitektur, die Altes gekonnt mit Neuem verbindet. Außergewöhnliche Kleinigkeiten, wie z. B. Kekse, die am Abend auf dem Zimmer serviert wurden, Erfrischung beim Check-in, es gebe nich vieles mehr zu berichten…

It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The location was perfect for walking to all the local sights. Little touches like an apple and orange along with crisps and water were left in our room and replenished each day. In the evening we found some little cakes with a note saying sleep well! Thanks to everyone for making our stay perfect!

Nos gustó todo!! En primer lugar, el hotel es una joya, un hotel boutique con un gusto exquisito. Se encuentra en pleno casco antiguo de Melaka y ha sido restaurado cuidadosamente, siguiendo la historia multicultural. Si bien el lugar avisa que puede ser ruidosa la zona (casi enfrente del principal templo chino y a media cuadra del mercado nocturno más famoso), nuestro descanso fue reparador, en una cama muy cómodas y espaciosa. El desayuno una delicia (anímense a probar las especialidades locales) y el personal extremadamente amable, contactándose en todo momento por WhatsApp para ayudarnos.

Hotel provides ear plugs in preparation for this Room: Stayed in the Kapitan Double Room. Room was comfortable and spacious enough for 2 pax. Toiletries provided were L'occitane and were of good quality Breakfast: Ala-carte breakfast with a decent amount of choices. Daily coffee was also offered. In-room snacks were also complimentary

Located in centre of historic old town. Everything to hand and not much walking required in the heat. Night market on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lots of good restaurants just a short walk away. The breakfast is good, with an extensive a la carte option.

Very stylish, the room is fabulous. Great location as well. We all enjoy the stay there.

The mirror in the lift is a huge healthy and safety risk. You cannot tell it's a mirror, it looks like a huge space in the lift and my young daughter ran into it. I think it's worth adding a sticker or any label to avoid any future incident. Once she hit her head, the hotel couldn't provide any ice pack or any first aid service, which is a bit concerning.

Great location, comfortable room, interesting history captured in the design and use of this historic building. Our plans interfered with taking advantage of the breakfast, so we can’t answer to how that was. Every member of the staff was exemplary.
