Agapi Beach Resort Premium All Inclusive

Resortet havde alt hvad vi drømte om og lagde lige ned til havet. Strand og strandstole 100 % i orden. Meget velholdet omgivelser. Vi fik ikke det værelse vi var blevet lovet i bekræftelsen, men da vi påpegede dette, fandt personalet hurtigst muligt et nyt værelse, som levede fuldt op det det forventede. Venligst og imødekommende personale både i receptionen, ved den store buffet og rengøringen. Vi deltog ikke i aktiviteter, men dem, der stod for det var super søde og småsnakkede lidt med os, når de gik rundt og fortalte om dagens næste aktivitet. Det var hyggeligt og gav et godt indtryk.

Lidt skuffet over hovedretten på den italienske restaurant, hvor man kunne spise én gang i løbet af opholdet -ved bestilling. Hovedretten bestod af kød og nærmest ingen tilbehør. Glad for vi bad om at salat og forret skulle blive stående, så vi kunne supplere med dette. Desserten var rigtig god. Området udenfor resortet var lidt kedeligt, men man kunne kun tage en bus til Heraklion ( nærmest storby), hvilket var en rigtig fin tur. Busturen var god og grækere er meget hensynsfulde og behjælpsomme. Der var mulighed for at betale for at komme på tur fra hotellet, men grundet prisen benyttede vi os ikke af dette. Savnede at kunne gå tur udenfor hotellet, men det bød omgivelserne ikke til, der var en vej med souvenir butikker og dagligvarer.

It stinks. In certain areas it stinks like sewage. At certain hours it stinks like burned oil. At the buffet sometimes it stinks like vomit. It really is bad. My room's (927) conditioner was full of mold and gave us all stuffed nose and even with the stuffed nose it stinks.

les représentations pour cet établissement sont surfaites. La nourriture n’est pas au niveau attendu, les activités sont rares ( il n’y avait pas de yoga, pas de dégustation de vin ou d’huile d’olives, très peu d’équipements aquatiques). c’était très décevant pour le prix payé.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit direktem Zugang zu einem tollen Strand. Die Zimmer waren sauber, modern und sehr angenehm. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das durchgehend freundliche und aufmerksame Servicepersonal. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Der Umgang mit meinem Buchungsproblem an der Rezeption war leider wenig lösungsorientiert und die Klärung des gebuchten Meerblickzimmers sehr langwierig. Außerdem war die Auswahl an glutenfreien Speisen für ein höherpreisiges Hotel eher eingeschränkt. Die Abendshows könnten abwechslungsreicher sein.

The same applied for the last day after the checkout, until our transfer to the airport arrived. A big plus that made our stay greater was the fact that the staff is really friendly and is actually open to help you. If you are looking for an amazing experience and vacation choose AGAPI BEACH RESORT!

Our room was very close to the beach and the beach bar. The food in the buffet was excellent! I was pleased with the list of inclusive alcoholic drinks available. The staff was very helpful and friendly everywhere at the resort.

One afternoon our air conditioner quit working after they performed maintenance on it. However, they completely replaced the unit the following day. So we experienced one hot night in our room. I can't think of anything else that was unpleasant.

Le manque d’animation après 23 h plus rien pas un bar de nuit pour les adultes ou un petit endroit avec de la music pour danser. Les animations était vraiment moyenne.

La habitación con vistas a la playa está muy bien y el cuarto en general era cómodo. Buena variedad de opciones de comida con restaurantes especiales para reservar y cambiar un poco de menú.

Las piscinas son pequeñas para la cantidad de gente que se hospeda. Si te toca un día de mucho viento, será casi imposible que consigas una reposera. Ni hablar de que, si bien hay un cartel de que no se pueden reservar, nadie lo verifica y de no despertar a las 7am no tendrás lugar. Si vienes de hacer un recorrido por Grecia, la comida no está a la altura de lo que puedes conseguir fuera. Teníamos reservado un bungaló y nos dieron una habitación con vista al mar. No buscaba estar en el edificio principal por tener sensación de privacidad alrededor mío y, si bien la vista era bonita, no hubiese reservado en hotel de saber que no iba a tener el lugar que había reservado.

Dear Agapi Beach Resorts, We spent one of the best weeks of our lives at your resort. The room, the beach, the activities, and the restaurants were all truly excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.Stepping out of the hotel, you will find shops for buying souvenirs all along the way. You can walk for kilometers along the shore in either direction. A week turned out to be too short; one would need at least 10 days to try everything. We recommend it to everyone for a fantastic holiday. Having just returned from this hotel I have mixed feelings about it. The hotel itself is really nice and the staff are lovely but there a few things that let it down. We booked a room for 3 people but upon arrival it was clear that there was very little storage space for all of our clothes, so unfortunately one of us had to live out of our suitcase for the whole 10 days of our stay. Also the room was not set up for 3 people with only 2 beach towels, 2 of each glass etc and some days only bath towels for 2. One day our room was not made up and even on the days that it was the floor was never cleaned, crumbs that had been dropped beside the bed on day 4 remained there for the rest of our stay. Even though the hotel was all inclusive, some very basic cocktails (eg a strawberry daiquiri) were not included and had to be paid for as an extra. The food in the buffet was not great and very repetitive. Opening times of the buffet state that there is a late dinner time slot of 2130-2230 however when we arrived for that session one evening there were only a handful of dishes left and we were told that when it ran out that was it, all the salads, breads and desserts had been cleared away. On a positive note the hotel has three other eateries which are included in the all inclusive but you just have to book in advance. The Italian restaurant was especially nice. For lunch there was a Greek Street food cafe and a Taverna which were great alternatives to the busy buffet. The beach facilities were brilliant and never any problem securing a sun lounger at anytime of the day and the beach bar was great. One of us had a birthday whilst we were visited and a beautiful plated cake was left in the fridge for him which was a lovely touch. Location wise the hotel is not great if you want to experience some authentic Greek locations as it’s just located on a long stretch of road with not much going on around it. We hired a car during our stay and visited some stunning places. This hotel would be great if you just want a chilled holiday relaxing on the beach but not the place you need to be staying if you want to see the real Crete. All in all we had a nice stay but could have been better and I would say that this was just not the place for us.

Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti molto bene dalla reception e con nostra sorpresa la camera era già pronta. Il resort è ben distribuito con alloggi indipendenti molto accoglienti, ognuno col proprio giardino o balcone. Immerso nel verde, molto curato e con ampi spazi per tutti. Fronte mare allestito con ombrellone e lettini. La cucina non è scontata anzi è piuttosto varia che accontenta i gusti di tutti. Il cibo sempre gustoso soprattutto la parte tipica cretese. Poco intrattenimento, discreto e non invadente che lascia stare tranquilli gli ospiti. Comoda la posizione per muoversi con taxi e pullman che hanno la fermata di fronte all’ingresso dell’hotel. Punto in più per i dolcissimi gatti che allietavano le giornate.

Piscina principale troppo affollata, occupata fin dalle prime ore del giorno. A volte per la cena bisognava attendere in fila che si liberasse un tavolo. Il ristorante italiano aveva ben poco di italiano. Consiglio di mettere uno chef italiano!

First and foremost the staff were so lovely, always ready to help and greet you nicely everywhere you go. Compared to other all inclusive resorts, we really felt the value of that here. There was access to food drinks and snacks all throughout the day. We especially enjoyed the taka taka street food restaurant which also had an amazing ice cream bar accessible, the perfect treat for a beach/pool day. Generally the resort is very walkable, you can get anywhere you need easily. There are a few different restaurants you can book for dinner every day which are great, but we were also impressed with the selection at the main dining hall, every meal was diverse, with local fresh herbs and veggies from their own garden which was an added bonus! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a modern design, the ac in the main building worked very well to fight the summer heat. Our favourite thing ended up being the bar at the main lobby - every evening there was a different performance or activity, and the selection of the cocktails and mocktails was great. The area outside was always packed and it made every night feel special. Also, there is a bus right outside the hotel that gets you to the city center in about 20 minutes. It can get packed at the busy hours, but nice if you want to explore outside the hotel or do some shopping. Other than that we had no reason to leave the resort as it had everything we needed for our stay. The private beach was lovely, and you could even get free access to a canoe as an all inclusive guest. The main pool was also great, very clean and with easy access to the bar where you could get drinks, snacks, and of course more ice cream :) We also decided to get a massage at the spa and the ladies were very lovely, the treatments were relaxing and professional. Overall it was an amazing stay that exceeded our expectations!

Nothing major! Maybe just could’ve been nice to have a better selection of sodas and maybe somewhere to get a late night snack, but there’s grocery stores right outside which are open until late that resolved that for us! Additionally, we stayed one night in a bungalow before moving to a standard room in the main building, which we liked better than the bungalows. They’re great for families, but are slightly older in design and facilities. For a more luxurious feeling we recommend the standard double rooms :)

I had a wonderful stay at this resort and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better beachfront experience. This was my second visit in Agapi Beach Resort, and this is the only time when second visit amazes me more. The location is absolutely beautiful — being just steps away from the sea makes the whole stay feel like a true holiday escape. I had same room as last year in main building, which was renovated last year as well, but I have noticed every other bungalows were being renovated, so this is alive complex and always under upgrade. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sea, spending the day by the beach, and enjoying the sunset in the evening were definitely the highlights of my stay. Talking about gastronomy I would love to mention all nutrients were available, it's real All Inclusive resort, you will never have issues about food. Two alla cartles restaurant, snack bar , beachfront lunch buffet, main buffet and taka taka always serve best quality of food. I can't talk more about the food, because usually I'm not that into food, so my review can't satisfy expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. Especially I wanna mention as last year, this year as well Rena, who always carefully and enthusiastically made best cocktails and coffee ever, and also I would love to mention Hara In Mediterranean Restaurant who always made us feel like home. The atmosphere made it very easy to switch off and simply enjoy the vacation. The beach is definitely main highlight of the resort, but what makes the experience special is the combination of the location, the atmosphere, and the REAL GREEK HOSPITALITY. Example of Greek hospitality was I repeats' cocktail ceremony, that really touched my feelings . It’s the kind of place where you quickly stop checking the time and start wishing you had booked a longer stay. I would happily return and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing beachfront getaway. Overall Agapi Beach Resort exceeds expectations for 4 star All Inclusive beachfront resort. Would love to continue my streak next year for 3rd time in a row. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel et nous le recommandons à 100 % ! L’hôtel est magnifique, très bien entretenu et offre de superbes prestations. Les repas sont délicieux, aussi bien au buffet que dans les différents restaurants, avec une belle variété de plats. Mention spéciale également pour la carte des cocktails, avec un très large choix. La piscine est superbe et la plage est tout aussi magnifique. Le personnel est vraiment adorable : professionnel, attentionné, souriant et toujours aux petits soins. Nous avons apprécié les animations du soir, qui étaient variées et de qualité. Certaines soirées étaient chill, tandis que d’autres nous ont permis de danser nous y avons fait de belles rencontres. Le spectacle était également magnifique ! Nous avons pu profiter de nombreuses activités pendant notre séjour, notamment du yoga et du tennis. Mon mari allait également à la salle de sport tous les jours et a trouvé le nécessaire en termes d’équipements. Notre bungalow pour 4 personnes était rénové, très agréable et de bonne taille, avec suffisamment d’espace pour toute la famille. Enfin, une mention spéciale pour Despina au club enfants, qui a été absolument adorable avec notre enfant. Toujours souriante, bienveillante et attentionnée. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

My family of four, including two teenage sons, have just returned from a wonderful two week stay at Agapi Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly and professional receptionist, Daria, and offered a refreshing cold drink. Our suitcases were taken to our accommodation while we enjoyed lunch at Taka Taka, which offers a selection of freshly made Mediterranean dishes. Freshly made crepes are available from 3pm, perfect for a mid‑afternoon treat. A special thank you to the lovely Vana for her consistently warm service (also at Dolce Vita), her friendly smile and chat made every visit feel personal. The staff truly make this hotel stand out — they go above and beyond in every interaction. The hotel itself has a unique charm, blending contemporary and vintage furnishings with traditional artwork and a strong sense of its family history. We stayed in a bungalow which was spacious, clean and ideally located close to both the beach and the pool. We also loved the regular visits from the adorable hotel cats. The beach bar has lovely views of the sunset in the evenign and a relaxed vibe during the day. The bar is served by Stravros who we really enjoyed chatting to - he makes a good cocktail too ! The food throughout the resort was very good. We especially enjoyed our meals at Dolce Vita, the Italian restaurant, where the service was excellent and the dishes were delicious — the mushroom risotto with truffle and the pavlova were particular highlights. Special thanks to Thauasis, Vana, Irina, Artiola, Stelios, Stefanos, Antigoui and Zina - they made each of our visits memorable. The Taverna was another lovely spot, set close to the beach with an authentic Greek atmosphere. Again, the staff were incredibly friendly, offering helpful explanations of the dishes and sharing information about the local wine we ordered, which came from a nearby vineyard. I highly recommend the wine and olive oil tasting from local producers — both educational and delicious. Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is essential. The cookery class, hosted by the charismatic catering manager, was also great fun. I fully intend to recreate the dish now that we’re home… perhaps without the two shots of raki! For our family, the main highlight of the holiday was the daily sporting activities organised by Boris and the activity team. My children particularly loved the volleyball and water polo which was great fun - and amusing to watch. All the activities were well organised and kept the boys busy during they day. Heraklion is definately worth a visit, a great selection of shops and restaurant and vibrant harbour. You can get a bus from the hotel or a taxi is around 15 euros. Overall we loved the Agapi Beach hotel, it's a special place and we hope to return again one day.

For dining, the Taverna and Dolce Vita restaurants are highly recommended in the evening; the self-service buffet is also very decent. What we do not recommend is going to the Petousis restaurant, located 1 km from the hotel, which guests are entitled to visit once a week. Three pools, which are not very large, are available, though sun loungers are reserved early in the morning. Fortunately, the beach has plenty of umbrellas and deck chairs. The bar in the evening is also very pleasant, featuring regular entertainment/live music, while still maintaining a reasonable quiet hour at night. The spa is also worth recommending, though the prices are high. The entire staff was warm and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better first holiday here. It’s a peaceful, quiet place that’s perfect if you’re looking to relax and unwind. The hotel and its surroundings were spotless, beautifully maintained, and the beach was clean and lovely, making it an ideal place to enjoy the sunshine and sea. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and really made our stay special. The food was absolutely amazing- fresh, delicious, and something we looked forward to every day. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday with outstanding hospitality, wonderful food, beautiful surroundings, and a calm atmosphere, we would highly recommend this place. We hope to return again in the future!

We went as a family of 3 adults at the start of the school summer holidays Arrival Check in was easy with no queue. There are no wrist bands so guessing everyone was all inclusive. Someone arrived to take our bags to our room for us - lovely touch Room We had a premier room in the main building. There was a large sofa bed which my 18 year old, tall, son slept on with no issues. It was down a couple of steps so he had his own little area. Room was smallish for 3 adults but we managed, we didn't spend much time in there and to be fair there was a good amount of storage and the suitcases all fitted under the sofa. The room was clean and was kept clean all week. There was a fridge and free safe (again nice touch). We had slippers and robes in our room as well as a coffee maker (comes with premier room I think) View was lovely. Pool/s Pool towels were in our room, no deposit required. It was a little annnoying that they could only be exchanged for a short period of time down by the beach as I would normally do it last thing before going up to our rom so we had fresh towels first thing. Not a huge problem, but just different to what we were used to and no charge again which was good. Main pool was good, not noisy, just a couple of activities during the day which weren't loud. It did become increasingly difficult to get a sunbed after the first day. People did seem to find spare ones but the main sunbed and parasols were gone by about 8-8.30am. On the last day we didn't get any at all but went to the other pool where there were plenty. This was a nice, slightly deeper pool, the only issue was there was no bar and we had to walk to the beach bar (I think at lunchtime there were drinks at the food place just accross from the pool). There was another pool in the middle of the bungalows which we never tried. Obviously if you like the beach there are plenty of free sunbeds there too. Beach Great that you get freee 1/2 hr paddle boarding or kayaking each day. We did this twice. Unfortunately it seems fairly breezy a lot of the time and they don't then offer those activities. We only did 2/7 days. Beach is lovely soft sand, sea can be a bit choppy if it's breezy. Tere are signs about sea urchins so wear water shoes. Lovely fish to see if you swim out the the rocky area (it's not too deep) good for a snorkle. Nice beach bar. Be aware again, we were going to jet ski on second to last day, this had usually been on even when paddle boardng wasn't. Unfortuantely it seems they shut the whole water sports place if it's windy and he last 2 days it was shut so we never got to do it. TIP: If theres something you want to do and it's on, do it, don't wait. Restaurant Nice restaurant, food maybe not as much choice as some I've been to but was always different so was fine. Bottles of wine and plenty of soft drink choice at meal times. They do however need to train better and offer more gluten free options. There was no gf bread (just rolls) and when I asked, they found a roll, cut it on the main bread board and toasted it in the main, belt toaster. There was only 1 gluten free pudding which you had to ask for. The buffet labelling was however good. Good for trip lunches, they give you a box and you can take what you want from breakfast, they give you a water and orange juice and a cool bag. We tried the Italien restaurant on site which was good and we went to the local taverna which was also included (albeit a sawn off menu). This one wasn't so good for gluten free but I managed. We didnt do the onsite Taverna but it looked nice. Bars Good selection of drinks on AI. Some cocktails and drinks were extra but the selection included was plentiful, also a good range of mocktails and other drinks. Cocktails were made fresh which was good. Bar staff always friendly and there were little pots of peanuts which were great snacks. General All the staff were friendly and helpful and generally I thought this was a great hotel. It did have a resort feel but not too big. It was nice having a choice of restaurants and it was lovely being on the beach. It didn't feel like we had to pay extra for things like at a lot of hotels eg pool towels, drinks, safe, beach sun beds etc and the inclusion of water sports was a great addition. Just do a bit more gluten free, seperate from other foods and get a dedicated toaster and it would be perfect!

The property is lovely for being so big and catering to people of all kinds.

I don’t like how nothing is done to stope the sunbed mafia from claiming chairs by the pool for hours since early am and not using them. I don’t like how after one of the staff gave me an extra sun chair and a German man shook my whole bed and throw his drink at me, security did fuck all and let him stay. Great way to show my two young daughters how men can assault women with no consequences.

Excellent experience!! Our third time staying, always perfect. Perfect for us, and close to family in Gazi and the village. Great service, great amenities, and the food is always exceptional; something for everyone, adults, teens, and kids. We had a group of nine, and we all loved it. I visited Agapi Beach Resort just for a massage, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and beautifully organized—I left feeling completely relaxed and renewed. Location Stunning beachfront setting and very easy to reach. The surroundings instantly put you in a holiday mood. Atmosphere Absolutely wonderful—peaceful, lush, and inviting. The spa feels like a little oasis. Rooms I didn’t stay overnight, but the spa and treatment rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Value Truly worth it. The quality of the experience exceeded my expectations. Cleanliness Impeccable. Everything felt fresh, spotless, and well cared for. Noise Level Perfectly quiet and serene—ideal for complete relaxation. Service Exceptional service. A special thank you to Zeta, who gave one of the most incredible massages I’ve ever had. Stayed at this fantastic resort for 10 days in July and from the moment we got there we were all treated like family with our suitcases taken and drinks offered. The resort is beautiful with gardens and flowers everywhere and absolutely spotlessly clean, lots of seating areas inside and out, well stocked bar areas with friendly staff, especially loved the beachbar looking out to sea, bliss:) We booked 3 rooms and they were all clean, well kept and maintained perfectly by the cleaning staff, i often think back to the gorgeous view from our room, beautiful. We all agreed the food at this hotel is the best we have had in any place we have ever stopped, so much quality and choice it was impossible to get bored, we also booked the seafood restarant and the greek taverna both of which are well worth a try, it really is impossible to find anything to criticise. Hope to return one day, perfect:)

We stayed at the Agapi for 10 nights in a bungalow with our 7 year old son at the beginning of the school holidays and this was our first trip to Crete. The hotel is such good value. The grounds are immaculate and very pretty. The food is some of the best we’ve had at an all inclusive. Despina in the kids club was so warm and professional and our son absolutely loved her and was sad to say goodbye. All of the staff were lovely and couldn’t help enough. The only slight negative was towards the end of the holiday it was getting busier and the main pool sun loungers were all reserved by 8.00am however there were plenty on the beach and at the two smaller pools. The sea was rough on a few days so I guess more people wanted the pool. Dimitris deserves a special mention as he often quite rightly removed towels from beds where people had been absent for at least 2 hours or so and politely dealt with their rude behaviour when they returned. The entertainment in the evening was just the right balance. We visited the Water City water park and book this online directly, the specific bus collected us from the opposite side of the road at the bus stop. It was late so you just have to wait and hope for the best but much cheaper than a taxi, it’s clearly advertised as the water city bus. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and loved staying at the Agapi beach and would definitely return.

Ammoudara beach is long and vast, great for a walk either side of hotel resort. Resort has a dedicated Large area with sunbeds specifically for hotel. In gardens you can play beach volleyball with its own nearby beach bar. Help yourself soft drinks, coffees and beer. Seaside taverna all inclusive is next to beach bar can use in day along side a Mediterranean all inclusive in main building which has alfresco outside dining options. Also an afternoon eating at take taka serving gyros, burgers, halloumi with fries and salad. Desserts at taka include icecream, crepes and waffles with Nutella. I had a massage and mini facial at the spa. However; I felt hounded day and night by the ladies here giving the hard sell of overpriced treatments - personal opinion. This I felt was the overall let down of the hotel, being mythered with sales tatics - eom offer, buy 2 treatments etc was relentless even after my massage I was given the hard sell of products. Spa shouldn’t have to give hard sell all day around the pool and beach and in resort if you had a reasonable price. Hotel itself was lovely we had a room overlooking the sea and wow. No room to shower end of check out resulted in showering in an old block with moths and the floor being extremely slippy not ideal. This needs to be looked at with a hotel with such high standards bringing the end of the stay down. Outside of hotel left and right lots of shops, supermarkets, eateries.

A very nice, clean resort located right on a beautiful beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms in the second block. Good all-inclusive service, although the quality of the food was sometimes lacking. Downsides: we didn't think much of the pool at Taka Taka. The resort was incredibly busy during July; the restaurants sometimes couldn't handle the influx of guests. There were queues at the restaurants and bars, and finding a spot by the pool and beach was a lost cause. It was extremely crowded! Beside this we had a supreme holiday!

We stayed at Agapi Beach Resort with our family from 19 to 26 July and had a wonderful holiday. We are repeat guests and come back every year. This was our eighth stay at the resort, which shows how much we enjoy spending our holidays here. The hotel has a great location and a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The entire resort was also very clean and tidy. The food was delicious, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. The service was excellent, and all the staff members were friendly, polite and helpful. There were many activities available during the day, and in the evenings there were concerts, shows and other entertainment. The noise level was comfortable, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The hotel offers good value for money and has excellent amenities for families. Everything was wonderful, and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. We would definitely recommend Agapi Beach Resort to other travellers. We are already looking forward to returning again next year.

We simply love the place, this was our 4th time here. It’s an oasis of peace, relax, clean and green. Everyone is smiling, rooms are nice. You get everything you need. In the 4 years the hotel also evolves a lot, there were major reconstructions and the new Italian restaurant is simply amazing. The concept of all inclusive AND offering ala cart menu restaurants in the resort + outside of it as well is super nice especially for stays longer than a week. (And a street food like restaurant for quick lunch in the swim trunks - so we don’t have to all change to go to main restaurant). The place is simply perfect, beautiful and well thought out

My partner and I returned for our third stay at Agapi and we're already dreaming about our next visit! The vibe and atmosphere is exactly what we need to fully unwind and get into holiday mode :-) As always we felt very looked after by all the wonderful staff who were all so friendly and accommodating. Highlight is the excellent spa team - thanks so much to Erika for tailoring our treatments and just being brilliant as usual!

Absolutely loved our holiday here. Perfect location on the beach and not far from the capital, in fact you could walk it if you wanted to!! hotel was very modern and clean. Our premium room with Seaview was lovely, plenty of room for the three of us, two adults and our 16-year-old son. The food was great, loved Taka Taka! . The al la carte restaurants in the evening were outstanding. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely return.

The location is amazing and incredibly peaceful, with perfectly utilized space, a tennis court, several restaurants and bars, and three pools, one of which is heated. You can beautifully hear the sound of the sea, and the resort is just a short drive from Heraklion Airport. The atmosphere completely engulfs you, time flows differently here. :) The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in a renovated Deluxe Room with a sea view. The prices reflect the luxury and the exceptional care you receive from the wonderful hotel staff. Ambient noise is minimal. You can’t hear anything from the neighboring rooms at all, though they are a bit less soundproofed from the hallway side. The door hinges are very heavy, so if you don't hold the door when coming in, it slams shut very loudly, which is mostly noticeable in the evening (a minor issue that barely affects the stay, you just have to get used to it). The service throughout the hotel, its restaurants, and bars is absolutely amazing. Everyone is smiling, kind, and always ready to help, truly wonderful care for their guests. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, absolutely spotless everywhere, and the room housekeeping is flawless, there is really nothing to complain about. The room amenities are great (speaking of the Deluxe Room), olive-infused shower gels, shampoo, and hand soap. Pool and beach towels can be exchanged directly on the beach during specific morning hours, and you get fresh ones right away. The room also features a coffee maker with regularly replenished capsules, two bottles of water daily, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, a safe, bathrobes, slippers, glasses, and mugs. The poolside bar offers both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, shortly after opening, snacks such as sweet and savory pastries, pizza, and ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and banana), also become available. You can have the ice cream in a cone or a cup and top it with a variety of sauces. This was my second visit in two years; the place remains wonderful and offers amazing services. The hotel has its own mobile app that allows you to make restaurant reservations—such as at the Italian restaurant (which serves excellent food). The app also provides an overview of the full entertainment program (activities for the little ones, garden stretching, beach volleyball, soccer, boccia, and more). The resort features a gym and a wellness center (available for an extra fee, outside the all-inclusive package). A beautiful, well-maintained beach where you can always find a spot, when the waves are high, it’s exciting, and when they aren’t, the sea is beautifully calm and clear. There is so much to do there that I couldn't possibly list it all, there is always something going on and you’ll enjoy every moment of it. Plus, whenever you need anything, the absolutely perfect, professional staff will assist you with a smile everyone there is amazing. Simply wonderful! :))

Very calming ans good servicw, would recommend

Overall, the hotel is clean, beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, although I expected more variety, especially more seafood options. The only downside was the lack of entertainment. There was almost no music around the resort, and very few activities, especially for children. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. However, if you prefer a lively atmosphere with more entertainment, this may not be the best choice

Die ganze Anlage sowie die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und komfartabel. Die Nähe zu der Stadt war super. Vor dem Resort gibt es genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Strand war wirklich ein Highlight. Die Mitarbeiter sind grösstenteils freundlich und motiviert. Das wlan konnte man überall problemlos nutzen. Es gibt sehr viele Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten auch über eine Hoteleigenen App buchbar. Trotz der vielen Gäste, erschien das Resort nie überfüllt und man hatte seine Ruhe. Das Essen war sehr gut und für jeden Geschmack. Mir gefielen die Katzen die überall umherlaufen. Sie werden auf dem Resort gefüttert und beherbergt.

Wir haben ein Familienzimmer mit Verbindungstüre gebucht da wir zu 4 waren. Das Zimmer das wir bekommen haben war sehr gross sowie der Balkon. Am 2.ten Tag hat das Bade Zimmer angefangen zu stinken. Wahrscheinlich von den Abwasserleitungen. Wir haben es immer wieder an der Rezeption gemeldet. Die Putzfrau hat dann mit einem starken Mittel geputzt, was aber nur immer circa ne halbe Stunden anhielt. Der Gestank war kaum auszuhalten. Dann haben wir die Möglichkeit bekommen für 1 Nacht in eine Suite ( 1Zimmer )einzuziehen, was aber für uns nicht machtbar war, da wir ja die Kinder nicht alleine lassen konnten. Das Resort war voll und sie hatten im Moment keine anderen Zimmer mehr frei. Natürlich hatten wir Verständnis, aber anstelle die Putzfrau zu schicken, hätten sie einfach einen Techniker schicken sollen. Wir hatten auch das Gefühl, das sie uns ständig vertrösten möchten. Wir waren wirklich jeden Tag an der Rezeption umzu reklamieren und natürlich war immer jemand anders anzutreffen. Niemand hatte wirklich eine Lösung für uns parat. Bis ich dann am Freitag ( am 4.ten Tag ) richtig sauer wurde und den Manager verlangt habe. Wir bekamen dann ein anderes Familienzimmer mit Verbindungstüre und ein paar süsse Geschenke. Das war eine nette Aufmerksamkeit. Was uns dann aber wirklich stutzig gemacht hat war, dass sie das Zimmer am gleichen Tag wieder jemanden anders vermietet hatten ohne dass das Problem behoben wurde. Wir haben dann die Familie angesprochen ob es noch stinken würde. Direkt beim Einzug als halt die Putzfrau wieder mit dem starken Mittel darüber ging, roch es natürlich noch nicht. Beim Abendessen trafen wir die Familie wieder und auch sie mussten bei der Rezeption wegen des Gestankes reklamieren. Für mich einfach unverständlich. Anstelle das Problem zuerst zu beheben und erst dann weitere Gäste für das Zimmer anzunehmen, besetzt man es in der Hoffnung, dass sie keine Lust haben zu reklamieren.

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. Our room was clean, quiet and well maintained, so we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes. The private beach was definitely a big plus and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is also good, as it's conveniently close to both the airport and the city center. We would happily come back and highly recommend this hotel.

- The staff - amazing. Everyone (and I mean everyone) is very welcoming and does their best to accommodate you and be friendly. - The food was delicious - clean pools - clean Beach - nice drinks variety

- we had a seaview room in the main block and the space was not baby friendly. The stairs in the room make it very dangerous which made it impossible to let the baby crawl on the floor in the room - the lifts in the main block are very small if you have a baby stroller - very inconvenient if you have a stroller and more than a baby and one adult as you have to use two lifts separately. - if you want to go with a stroller from the main block to the beach you have to go all the way around the property as it’s the only stroller friendly way. The accessible access ramps are not at every staircase.

So relaxing highly recommend

Went end of June-July for 11 nights with Jet2. The hotel is lovely and all staff helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 623 (executive bungalow) with 2 teenagers. One had a bed and the other a sofa bed which was a decent size if a little firm. The location of the room was perfect, right by the beach, 1 minute to the main restaurant and 30 seconds to the pool. But tucked round enough that it was quiet. It was also right by the cat cafe which suited us :-) The food was decent and everything was labelled, except when it was ‘local’. Watch out for serving spoons and tongs being used by guests for meat and non-animal products. Many people just don’t think about it I hope, rather than them being purposely Inconsiderate. I asked for new ladle more than once. As a vegan I did struggle a bit as there wasn’t much labelled strictly vegan, however there was lots of vegetarian food which did not have a dairy or egg labels so had to judge that these would be ok for me to eat. A delicious vegan dessert is available on request and there is a little fridge with alternative milks at breakfast. I didn’t like the few cereal options though so had toast and some of the plentiful fruit each morning. There was a vegan butter but only at breakfast - for some reason not available at lunch or dinner. The Italian restaurant adapted their menu somewhat for me and my pescatarian daughter but it meant I didn’t get all courses (though the food was delicious). I didn’t see anything suitable at the other restaurants. We booked a massage for me (from Zeta) and my daughter (Irene), and my husband had one also from Zeta. Erica was very helpful in talking through the options suited to us. We all enjoyed and would recommend, but thought the beauty products offered afterwards were far too expensive. There was no pressure to buy though, or to book - though they are always around asking if you’re interested. Erica always remembered my name which was impressive! There was an issue with the electricity in our little block one night so they carted us to another 2 rooms in a block near the Ritalin restaurant which were a bit more ‘luxury’ though small. I don’t think we were missing out though and the noise from the road was disturbing. I recommend hiring a car (we used the place across the road from the hotel) for a few days to see some more of this beautiful island. We did visits to Spinalonga Island, Knossos Palace, Matala Caves, Mili Gorge, Arcadia Monastery, the sea arch by Spilies beach. And the no. 1 or 6 bus goes from outside the hotel to Heraklion, less than 30mins journey.

We had an amazing stay at Agapi Beach Resort. The whole team here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and it really shows. The private beach is beautiful, clean and so convenient with kids. The food across the resort was consistently great, lots of variety and always fresh. The spa amenities were a real highlight too. Special mention to Stella, she was fantastic and made the whole spa experience feel so pampering. Despina in the kids club was wonderful. Our kids loved spending time there because of her. She’s warm, engaging, and has such a great way with children. It gave us some peace of mind and the kids didn’t want to leave. Vasilis at the lobby bar deserves a shout out too. His ice throwing skills for the pretty ladies (our two young daughters) had them giggling every night. It’s those small moments that make a holiday memorable. And to the housekeeping staff, the unsung heroes. They kept everything so beautiful and spotless every single day. We really appreciate the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. Overall, Agapi Beach Resort has fantastic staff, great food, and everything you need for a relaxing family holiday. We’ll definitely be back.

The hotel has it all. Rooms are lovely and housekeeping first class. The all inclusive buffet is of a really good standard, tasty, fresh and lots of choice. The à la carte restaurants are great … don’t have lunch as the portions are huge! Beach is great, lots of loungers only used the small pool near our room- but still always a space. What made it for us were the lovely staff, always smiling and helpful. Special mentions to Nikos and Hara in the main restaurant, Stavros, Dimitria, Giannis, Faye, George and Irini at the seaside bar and taverna. Last but by no means least, we each had a massage in the spa which was excellent.. thank you to the lovely Tanya for her recommendations and organising this. Again, all spa staff were lovely .

What a disappointment. I went in expecting the famous Greek hospitality and fabulous food — I got neither. Service throughout the resort was poor, and finding a free sunbed by the pool felt like searching for pink diamonds. The food was the low point: the same tired offerings served day after day, with no real effort or variety. The one exception was the Dolce Vita restaurant, where both the food and service were genuinely good. Facilities for children were lacking, with very few pool games or activities on offer. Housekeeping was also inconsistent — our room was never properly cleaned during our stay. Most concerning was the smoking policy: cigarettes were permitted everywhere except three tables in the lobby bar, which didn't even open until 5pm. In this day and age, smoking should not be allowed poolside or in family areas. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing from start to finish, and I'd urge BA Holidays to reconsider this hotel's place on their preferred list — it simply isn't up to standard

We had a truly wonderful stay at Agapi Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome, and the entire team made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional, which made our experience especially memorable. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun. The location is also fantastic. The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and the sea is absolutely beautiful. The food was another highlight of our stay. The all-inclusive selection was varied, fresh, and consistently delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The experience also included dinners at the resort’s restaurants, which was a wonderful addition and made the visit feel even more special. There were also many different activities available, including yoga, tennis, and other sports and wellness options. It was lovely to have so many ways to stay active and enjoy the resort throughout the day. Everything was organised perfectly, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care shown by the entire team. We left with wonderful memories and would be very happy to return in the future. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Agapi resort on the island with many swimming pools. A best all inclusive. Suitable for families and couples. Top food with various restaurants and a wide choice.

The hotel was fine and is recommended. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean but, in my opinion, a bit too small for a family of four. There was a huge variety of food options from breakfast through to dinner. Unfortunately, the main dining area was sometimes overcrowded at dinner. One thing that really didn't work was the gardening schedule: the gardener would only start mowing the lawn at 10:00 a.m., just when people were already lying by the pool or on the grass. All in all, we had a lovely holiday.

Bel hôtel très propre et bien entretenu. Le restaurant est top, la nourriture est plutôt bonne (et tout est vraiment all inclusive). Nous avons apprécié le snacking au cours de la journée. Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant, l'équipe d'animation est au top ! L'hôtel possède une belle plage privée super agréable, nous avons passé une semaine au top !

Peu de point négatifs : le bruit dans les couloirs le soir, mais ça c'est plutôt du savoir vivre de la part des autres clients, et les transats qui sont réservés dès le matin par les clients alors qu'ils n'y sont même pas, cela dit nous avons toujours réussi à avoir au moins un transat.

Сильний вітер і хвилі на морі і постійна відсутність лежаків біля басейну, один раз пощастило зайняти, але коли повернулась після сніданку лайфгард їх забрав і довелося виясняти та шукати свої рушники)) Але найгірший досвід був при поселенні, коли російськомовні ресепшеоністки зовсім не знають як вирішувати проблемні ситуації, замість заброньованого і проплаченого sea front view дали боковий вид нічого не пояснили і не вибачилися, що наразі ці номери зайняті, а потім коли мені це не сподобалось почали ганяти мене по різних номерах, які також не відповідали зазначеному і проплаченому в бронюванні. Це зіпсувало та перекреслило весь, навіть хороший досвід, адже після нічного перельоту та 7-ми годинного очікування свого номеру в працівників готелю має бути присутня хоч яка небуть емпатія та розуміння (((

Staff is wonderful and super helpful. facilities are great, we didn't leave the resort for 5 days and it was great. The Italian restaurant is really good (Shutout to Vana the wonderful waitress)

Only things I would say here is that It's hard to find a spot on the main pool and sometimes the beach can get really windy because the open sea and no wave breaks.

A/C wasn't working properly

Das Personal war insgesamt professionell und freundlich. Allerdings wirkte das Hauptrestaurant bei voller Auslastung des Hotels etwas überfordert; es kam teilweise zu Platzmangel. Zwar gibt es zwei weitere Restaurants, deren Auswahl ist jedoch eher begrenzt, sodass man gerade mit Kind oft auf das Hauptrestaurant angewiesen ist. Auch die Auswahl beim Kindermenü könnte etwas größer sein. Die Pools, der Strand und die Sonnenliegen haben uns dagegen gut gefallen.

Wir sind als zwei Erwachsene mit einem einjährigen Kind gereist. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir den von uns gebuchten Bungalow nicht beziehen könnten, da angeblich keine Bungalow-Zimmer verfügbar seien. Stattdessen wurde uns ein Zimmer mit Meerblick als Upgrade angeboten. Auch wenn das grundsätzlich nett gemeint war, ging es uns weniger um ein Upgrade, sondern um ein für uns passendes Zimmer. Mit einem kleinen, sehr aktiven Kind sind beispielsweise Stufen im Zimmer eher unpraktisch. Eine klare Erklärung, wie es zu dieser Verwechslung kommen konnte, haben wir leider nicht erhalten. Nach einer Nacht im alternativen Zimmer und einem weiteren Gespräch mit den Verantwortlichen konnten wir ab der zweiten Nacht schließlich in den ursprünglich über Booking.com gebuchten Bungalow umziehen. In diesem Zimmer haben wir ebenfalls einige Mängel bzw. defekte Ausstattungsgegenstände festgestellt und dem Hotel gemeldet; ein Teil wurde behoben, ein Teil leider nicht, und wir haben uns letztlich entschieden, dem nicht weiter nachzugehen und unseren Urlaub einfach zu Ende zu genießen.

Frühstück einmalig Mittag- und Abendessen war ok.

Das “griechische Abendessen” hatte keine Klassiker wie Suflaki oder gefüllte Weinblätter. Insgesamt gab es wenig Hühnerfleisch

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr schöne Anlage und super Lage am Strand. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut und es gab auch genügend Auswahl an gesundem Essen beim All in Buffett.

The hotel is amazing. We were upgraded to a newly removated suite in the 6XX area. Every detail was carefully thought out, with a mini garden and terrace for each suite. It was very close to the pool and quiet. The location is perfect, the beach is amazing and you can easily go out to shop (many shops in the street of the hotel) and visit the town. You can take the bus right in front. It is just perfect.

I had the best massage with Zeta

This is our third visit to Agapi Beach and after missing last year we decided to treat ourselves to a longer stay this time. There is always a slight worry when returning somewhere you love that perhaps your memories have become a little rose-tinted, but we needn't have worried. If anything, this stay has exceeded both our memories and our expectations. We are staying in a Garden Bungalow again this year, although in a different part of the resort from our previous visits. I'll admit that when we were first shown to our room we felt a little uncertain about the location but it turned out great - every room we’ve had so far has had its own unique advantages and charm, and we've absolutely loved being closer to the main building and pool this year. Most importantly the rooms are clean, the housekeeping team is attentive and thorough. One of the highlights of the resort for us is the spa. We're not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to spa treatments, we know we enjoy them but we're often unsure exactly what would suit us best. Over the years, Erika has become our go-to person. We met her during our very first stay in 2023, got to know her even better during our second visit, and this year we made a beeline for her almost as soon as we arrived. She has an incredible talent for listening and understanding exactly what you need. Wonderful hotel that manages to create a family feeling whilst accommodating so many guests. The food is absolutely fantastic. Anastasia gave the best pedicure I have ever had from a newly renovated and clean studio. She is absolutely fantastic! Zeta also gave a great massage, although the facilities were absolutely in need of repair. All staff are polite, helpful and warm.

We recently stayed at Agapi Beach and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The first thing that impressed us was the beautiful and well-maintained grounds. The hotel has a large property with plenty of greenery, flowers, and relaxing areas, all kept in excellent condition. The rooms have been renovated and felt modern, clean, and comfortable. The minibar was empty on arrival, which wasn’t an issue for us. For groups of four, I would definitely recommend the bungalows. They are split over two levels and share a common staircase, offering more space than a standard room. The Exclusive Bungalows are especially worth considering. The hotel offers five restaurants, which provides a nice variety during the stay. A great advantage is that two à la carte restaurants are included in the All Inclusive package with unlimited visits, subject to reservation. Another nice touch is that guests are offered one complimentary visit to a local tavern during their stay as part of the AI program. The heated swimming pool is a big plus during the cooler months, and the hotel’s location close to the airport makes transfers quick and convenient. Most services are included in the price, with extra charges applying only for the spa and water sports activities. The only downside for us was the food selection in the main restaurant. While the quality was good, the variety felt somewhat limited compared to other hotels in the same category. Overall, Agapi Beach is a beautiful, recently renovated hotel with lovely surroundings, good facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would happily recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable beachfront holiday in Crete.

We thought we were getting a walk in shower per room description. What we got was a very tall tub with shower. My husband is 72 yrs old with 2 knee replacements. Getting in and out of shower was not easy. Also… bed was 2 twins pushed together. Not a fan. Only outlet in bathroom was attached to hairdryer and didn’t work so unable to use curling iron in bathroom.

The food is fresh, varied and it's easy to eat healthily (greek yogurt, chia seeds, pumpkins seeds, peanut butter and honey for breakfast). There is access to food all the time, with the fixed food timings but also cafe that runs great falafel, kebab, salads for a quick take away option if you just fancy eating by the pool. The staff are wonderful and made us feel so welcome from the point of check in to departure. We had a late check out and were given a beautiful room to shower and get changed in. Such a wonderful touch. Everything at this hotel feels so relaxed, there is no militant towel checks, in May there was no need to reserve sunbeds, they were always available. With the late check out we were allowed to use the beach towels and all the facilities as normal. Just wonderful. Fantastic place to bring a family of all ages. We enjoyed the free daily canoe boats and body boards.
