Good and clean rooms and staff nice

Need a car to cross traffic highway , can't take any transport to the town, same breakfast all day's

Really nice and comfortable hotel. The room was clean and cosy, the breakfast was good, and having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free on-site parking is also a great bonus. The only downside was the noise from other room doors closing — it was surprisingly loud and disturbed us a little, especially as we were trying to rest during the day. Apart from that, everything was great. Definitely a good choice for a couple of nights!

We booked with breakfast, we asked the night before and the man told us breakfast until 10:30 and checkout 11. We came downstairs at 9:40 and we got told that the breakfast is now closed by the same man. When raising this he had nothing to say.

A warm friendly welcome from Olga & Olly Thursday evening upon arrival and again by Olly and breakfast staff. Also loved the bathrooms, 1 door privacy plan.

Everything you needed for a short break. Clean, comfortable, tea/coffee making, toiletries (hand-wash, shower gel and shampoo). Nice shower. Friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely breakfast.

Slightly too warm at night and a/c a bit too noisy to use. Maybe a lighter duvet would have helped but this is just a small quibble!

Clean, tidy, excellent service, Vijay on reception was excellent. Bar area was well stocked. Plenty of parking. I just needed a place to get my head down and this was the nearest.

Not enough food at breakfast. Slow to bring out food. A long wait for hot food to be available. Didn’t get to have a croissant as all eaten. It seems like you need more food and catering staff at breakfast.

The main bed was comfortable The door of the toilet was good in terms of seperate toilet seat from the rest Very friendly staff especially the Asian guy - his name starts with V.

- unclean bedsheets - very dirty carpet - uncomfortable sofabed - going down from the feet area which was scary - plus there were gaps in between the sofabed and windows so had to put blanket and pillows so that kids don’t fall or get trapped - under the sofabed - unsafe for kids - no space other than beds - very small room for 4 people. - the breakfast was horrible - we all felt sick afterwards even though we tried not to eat anything dodgy.

if i had to pick something i would say the beds are sometimes too high, and have to crawl onto them which is difficult if you have medical issues,

The AC was leaking, and dropping through the night. The dropping disturbed my sleep. I missed the turning to the hotel, cos the signpost is blocked by bushes. Need to be cleared.

We had bedbugs and has 3 rooms.in 2 nights, I'm.disabled I have a child.with special needs and my partner has cancer and is having Chemotherapy, A room full of bedbugs and having 3 rooms so packing up and moving was very stressful, we missed a night's sleep and my son had no bedding because they didn't bring him it so had to sleep under a towel, we felt itchy and uncomfortable with bites and my son who.has special needs was upset about finding them.in his bed, we also received a parking charge which the hotel refused to sort so a disaster of a weekend the least we should have got was a full refund but we wasn't even given that.

Where do I start. Family room booked, this must have been the smallest room in the hotel. Bathroom ridiculously small. Tables for breakfast squashed in. Management need to charge half the money or make some drastic changes.

Extremely clean friendly staff. The disabled access rooms where very roomy. Quiet area. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The Breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from. Plenty of parking spaces. Disabled parking as well close to entrance. Also slopped entrance. Would certainly stay again.

The airconditioning unit leaked in the middle of the night right on top of me as it was above the bed. The carpet was rotten because of continous leaks. I tried to get support for this booking from Booking.com and they were awful as usual.

We loved the reception staff. We cant remember the name of the gentleman that helped us but it was on the Thursday for the F1. He was amazing and so so helpful. Couldn't thank him enough.

Friendly staff, decent room, especially nice as it was one of the hottest days of the year, and the air con was so welcome. Didn't have breakfast as we decided to sleep in a bit. Hotel ood value for what we paid.

Excellent staff (Olly) made a point of asking me what room I wanted and gave me a choice of two that he felt suited my needs. Very clean room. Comfy bed and good quality facilities.

There weren't that many food options at breakfast.

The staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful where possible. The hotel was clean and still has daily housekeeping which many hotels do not provide nowadays. The breakfast was fine.

Our bathroom had no extractor fan which was not good, especially considering the heat during the time we were there. The The finaltelevision remote did not work due to it not being compatible with the tv; this was realised by one of the staff members who came to change the battery. Milk sachets in the room had curdled and when I asked for replacements the ones I was given were in the same condition. Surely the hotel could have rules in place that during very hot weather such products should be refrigerated until the guests arrive, not left in the rooms.A staff member brought a pot of tea to our room, with fresh milk from the fridge. This was after I had been downstairs to reception three times as the hotel had removed all internal phones from the rooms.

My stay at this hotel has been the very worst experience had at an hotel. Booking was for one overnight stay. And was to avoid the drive back to London following attendance at a celebration. In the early hours on the morning of the 14th June I retired to bed after 01.00, I woke 20 minutes later having felt some itching on my lower arm. I completely covered myself to prevent whatever it was that had caused the discomfort. But a short time later again I was woken with more severe discomfort and constant itching. So leaving the bed to check what the problem was, in the bathroom. The itching was intense and I could see swelling on my forehead and my arms also the itching to my back was uncomfortable. All I could do was to continuously use cold water to eliminate the itching and get the swelling down. Finally at 06.30 I got my belongings together and left the room to sit in reception. A staff member was there so I informed him of this awful experience he began to do something on the computer whilst saying he would go to the room. I asked him for his complaint procedure again he spoke of needing to check the room. He also stated another room was available he was told my booking was an overnight stay. Again he was asked for complaints policy. To the end of his shift-when he left the hotel he did not return to me or give me his complaint procedure. I received verbal procedure after having to approach and again inform a staff member who arrived later. Whilst at the hotel I emailed the manager as instructed. I informed manager of unfortunate experience. On return to London some hours later I received manager’s response, I was informed an investigation would be carried out. The manager also asked for picture proof a day later. Of course I don’t have photos of the injure at the time of incident because I was busy swabbing to stop itching and getting the swelling down. However I took photos and sent to manager. It’s been 2 weeks since contact with the Hotel manager and still there’s been no response or any information regarding their investigation outcome. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Staff good. Pity the Holiday Inn sign if covered by overgrown shrubs and cannot be seen from the roundabout. No signs, not even and obligatory hotel and arrow one on the verge. First view 'its a service area for petrol and snacks'. Second view 'How the hell do they expect punters to find them, such a weird place to build a hotel'. Once inside it was excellent. Asked for a disabled room and actually got one. First ever HIExp that accepted on line request although sadly no confirmation mail. Breakfast excellent as usual and staff really good except the male receptionist on nights who was very disinterested and abrupt but girls on duty very enthusiastic. Impossible to contact hotel directly as HI phone ssytem through overseas central cust-service never gets an answer back to you. Worst experience ever trying to make a booking but I persist as service and facilities throughout the group is consitantly 4 or 5 star. WARNING : prepare to be bombarded via ermail with their rewards program messages which is not explained and is totally confusing and will shortly be unsubscribed to from this end.

The air conditioner is very loud, had to be turned off at night. The next day it broke during the day, water dripped, soaking the bed underneath it. A klíma nagyon hangos, éjszakára le kellett kapcsolni. Másnap napközben elromlott, csöpögött a víz, eláztatta az ágyat,ami alatta volt.

Hotel very clean. Location perfect for us. Very pleasant smiling helpful staff. We had our dog with us. The hotel is dog friendly on arrival at reception we were given a goody bag for her. I thought this very welcoming to her.
