There is nothing in the surrounding area but it is a short taxi ride into city or a number of buses within a short walking distance including to Headingley if you here for cricket.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A hairdryer and kettle were provided, together with some complimentary biscuits, tea, and coffee.

The bathroom had some hairs on the floor and in the shower. The room was facing a busy roundabout, which made it impossible to sleep with the window open for some fresh air.

I came for a conference, spent a lot of time outside, but the hotel seemed great. Clean, clear, great for its price. Staff was nice. Hair dryer available, Ironing rooms nice. Restaurant + bar also seemed nice (didn't have time to use). I will def. book it again when coming to Leeds.

The location is great. Staff on reception were good and moved my room to one which didn't smell of cigarettes.

The initial room smelt of cigarettes so I asked for another room. Then the new room was not the cleanest, lots of dust, hanging from the ceiling (along with something else!), dust all over the fan cooler - which did not work at all! Window very dirty, not been cleaned in a long time, Edges around carpet also filthy., TV did not turn on. Gave up!

It was Ibis’s standard room or perhaps a bit better (my room felt bigger and better appointed than usual). Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was Ibis’s standard (which is very good), but also spotlessly clean. In the higher rooms the views are a bonus.

I came and departed through Leeds Central Station and found the walk to the hotel rather tedious. It was taking me 25 minutes from station concourse to hotel lobby, along an exceptionally badly designed and anti-pedestrian road layout. There’s also very limited local convenience store, restaurant or bar provision in the immediate area, so you can’t just nip out for something.

The room was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was great and the bed was comfortable. It's central enough for Leeds and a 10/15 minute walk from the station.

I wish there were clearer instructions on how to use the air conditioning (though it's not really air conditioning) system. I had to ask how to turn it on because it wasn't clear, and then it was either off or freezing.

It was welcoming, the staff were helpful , it was clean through out Elevator worked well. I slept well, the bed was very comfy. Stop the Bonus questions it's getting tedious!

You did not have any Bitter.. The BIG ONE dangerous glass shower doors!! Why in this day and age were they not Plastic & Perspex..I cut the bottom of my foot on one these doors. If someone fell and glass broke serious injuries could be obtained

Cheap hotel, not far from the city centre, did the job.

We arrived a bit early hoping to either store our bags or, if a room was ready by that point, put our things away and freshen up in there. The trainee on reception informed us there were plenty of clean rooms but that there was a £10 early check in fee - this felt a bit cheap. A more experienced member of staff noticed that the trainee was preparing to take our bags to the luggage room, they asked "are there no clean rooms" and received a response about the early check in fee. The other staff member rolled their eyes and left it at that. No big deal, but did feel as if Ibis know the cost of everything and the value of nothing - this reinforced our view of Ibis being quite stingy. Separately, there is a £2 fee per bag to leave your bags after check out - again, would be free as standard at most other hotels, but that's Ibis for you.

Clean, standard room. Regular setup of a no frills hotel. About 15min walk into town. I had to extend 1 more night and the reception helped make sure it was the same room and i didn't have to move my things. Overall good!

The room was very clean. Staff very helpful, the location wasn’t noisy whilst I was there.

The beds were very small. Also, everytime someone stepped out their room it made a banging noise against my door which was very annoying. TV wouldn’t switch on. Nothing major.

The standard budget hotel is clean, but the rooms are tired and dated. They lack many modern amenities, such as a hairdryer, USB charging ports, and even a bottle opener. The price for a one-night stay on Saturday is overpriced compared to what the Premier Inn and Travelodge offer. However, my main issue was with the attitude of the barman working that evening. When I approached the bar, he was busy on his phone and seemed annoyed that I expected to be served, as if I had disturbed him. His tone was sharp and blunt, and his engagement during my service was disinterested, making it an unpleasant experience. After being served, I watched him slouched on the bar next to the till, continuing to focus on his phone. His demeanour remained the same while serving two or three other guests; he appeared generally miserable and disinterested. I decided to avoid service from him, and had there not been other, more polite and professional staff serving from the desk area, I would have left the bar to steer clear of this barman whilst around.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Complementary coffe and tea available in the room. TV and hairdryer available, as well as an ironing room in various floors - very useful! The breakfast offered was of great value and well prepared. Nice lounge area with a bar available. Noticed also some Uber service computer desk. Location was good: ~20min walk to the central area and ~5min to bus stop from/to airport. Self-checkout was quick and easy-just pop it in a box at reception.

Room smelled distinctively of cigarettes immediately upon entering the room. We informed the reception and kept the window open the entire time we spent there (which was 1 day) and it seemed to improve at the end, so we assumed it was likely recent - from previous tenants. I understand it is not hotels fault and likely an isolated issue, however, it was unpleasant. Luckily the weather was great at the time - wouldn't be too happy about that solution winter time.

I woke up at 5:00 am to use the toilet. On my return I saw a bedbug and I couldn’t go back to bed again. I saw another one and killed it. I sat on the chair until I checked out.
