The social media postings create expectations that the hotel doesn’t always live up to. The restaurant dinner menu was limited and didn’t change over several nights so you need to find other options nearby if you don’t mind driving. Understaffing in the restaurant can frustrate those who expect sharper service.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026El lugar es hermoso, pero un hotel en ese precio, y que no tenga sufuciente personal, pa que te apoyen con las maletas, que te cobren fuera del desayuno, la preparación de unos omelettes, y ya el desayuno es costoso, y no te diecen que el omelette tiene otro costo, deja mucho que desear.
Que el desayuno es muy costoso, y que no te adviertan que prepatrar unos omelete, tenga un precio distinto al que pagas por el desayuno. No tienen suficiente personal, por lo que toma tiempo tomar un desayuno, no hay quien te apoye con las maletas, muy costoso para tan pobre servicio.

The breakfast is overpriced and lacks variety. Lots of ants in our family room that keep showing up despite the hotel having used the insect spray. Lots of mosquitos when we sat outdoor to have our dinner. All of us got dozens of mosquito bites after dinner.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026This is a beautiful property set amongst olive trees and pine so the smell in the air in summer is magic. The staff were attentive and friendly and our little house was a haven at the end of very hot days exploring the local villages - made all the better with a pre dinner cool off in the pool. Was a week of luxury that went by all too quickly.
A couple of maintenance issues that were sorted quickly. Coffee pod machine was a menace but they usually are!!

L'emplacement était donc particulièrement pratique. L'établissement est agréable, dans un cadre provençal calme et bien entretenu. J'ai également apprécié la piscine chauffée, très agréable pour se détendre Une adresse confortable et bien située pour découvrir les Alpilles ou profiter des activités des environs.

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort- an 2 Abenden konnte man nach 20 Uhr keine Getränke mehr erhalten Die Frühstückstische waren nicht gedeckt- auf Kaffee , Baquette musste man mehr als 15 Minuten warten. Service war miserabel

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026We hadden het hotel onder andere gekozen voor het goede restaurant, maar ze laten ons laconiek weten dat het restaurant gesloten is.
De airco werkte niet en ze hadden simpelweg een ventilator in de plaats gezet. Ook bleek er een lamp niet uit te schakelen, waardoor het moeilijk inslapen was. Alles gesignaleerd aan de receptie, maar er werd niets verholpen.

The pool opened too late ( 6.30 or 7 please ) I was never offered coffee after a swim There is no bar and I was never offered a drink The checkout was chaotic and caused problems . There were too much tech systems and the locked reception scary and horrid You have good garden and there was no early morning access to this . What if there had been a fire !

Per una notte pagata in anticipo i 500 euro chiesti dí pre autorizzazione su carta per garanzia sono esagerati

Reviewed May 2, 2026C'est une magnifique propriété; endroit calme, à proximité des Baux-de Provence. Très bonne literie, chambre spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner : magnifique; MERCI à la personne qui s'est occupée de sa mise en place, de son accueil et sa gentillesse, nous étions aux petits soins !
Nous avons trouvé que le personnel (réception), hormis la personne qui a préparé et servi les petits-déjeuners, manquait de professionnalisme/expérience et d'entregent pour un établissement de cette envergure. Nous n'avons pas compris pour quelle raison nous avons dû verser une caution de 200 euros alors que la chambre avait été réglée à l'avance et que nous leur avons même proposé de régler les taxes de séjour + pt déjeuners + séjour pour notre chien lors du checking in ???

The staff seemed very lost. We got overcharged (and then refunded) and were denied extra botles of water because the staff responsible for the kitchen was not there (it was 18h30 on a saturday). I had to insist to get water, which is not really good in hospitality terms. People in the breakfast wanted to charge extra for an extra boiled egg, which is honestly insane since we’ve payed 28 euros each for breakfast.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025This is a beautiful hotel located in a gorgeous location in Beaux de Provence. The staff is very friendly and professional. Our room very elegant and the bed extremely comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel - delicious and well prepared. Breakfast in the morning was a huge buffet with lots of variety and eggs prepared to order - very good. We only stayed for the one night because we wanted to go to the Carrieres de Lumieres in the morning - only five minutes away - where we experienced the Little Prince Odyssey. It was amazing! We recommend staying at Benvengudo for a luxurious stay.

Un accueil qui ne vous fait pas sentir le bienvenu. Aucune possibilité de prendre une douche après notre course cycliste. Pas d’endroit pour stocker les vélos. Pas possible de petit déjeuner avant 8h, une direction très à cheval sur les règles et les principes, beaucoup moins sur l’accueil et l’expérience vécue. En dépit de prix très substantiels et d’un classement en 4 étoiles. Décevant donc.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025The property was very nice and well kept. Unfortunately the pool was freezing and stall unusable (unless you were a lap swimmer or racer). The grounds were beautiful. On the negative side, the were rude and acted as though you were a bother. We purchased some bread, cheese, fruit, and wine at a local shop to enjoy a French country afternoon experience on the lawn and were told we could pinky consume that in our rooms. I guess the >€450 per night was not enough revenue for the hotel?
