Charming place, typical Provence feel, outstanding service, very nice outside space, delicious breakfast.

Gorgeous landscaping & delightful secluded pool area. Small battery power light globes on patio tables. This inn felt like a French country inn. Very comforting. Breakfast is average & costs extra. Comfortable bed & quiet outside. Secured parking requires gate access & narrow parking spots. 45 minute drive to Avignon TGV station.

Mas de l’Oulivié is idyllic, a haven of tranquility, beauty, and peace near Les Baux-de-Provence, set among the stunning Alpilles. The hotel is beautiful — the public areas, the pool, the terrasse, the rooms, the landscaping. The staff are extraordinary — those at the front desk and those who serve guests for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and light fare – all staff are welcoming, gracious, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned and maintained. The owners work onsite and are also there to assist guests. I love the ambiance and peacefulness of Mas de l’Oulivié and the comfort I feel when I am there. I also enjoy the excellent restaurants within 5-10 minutes from the hotel and the wonderful sites and other restaurants within an easy drive from the hotel. I highly recommend Mas de l’Oulivié. It is a perfect place to relax and from which to explore an historic, beautiful, and culturally rich area of Provence.

The pool and pool-side snacks were lovely. The breakfast felt heavenly each morning. The staff was attentive, kind and caring. Our room was lovely, the AC was strong, and the bathroom was well appointed. The property is lovely with flowers and olive trees. Note, we did notice a number of bees drinking water from the pool - if you have allergies, just be aware - though they truly did not bother anyone or even seem to want our food. Everyone was very kind and attentive with our 6 year old- truly all guests even said hello to her.

So many great things about this property! -Beautiful grounds in a lovely country setting. The grounds are landscaped very nicely with flowers and plants everywhere, plus there are views of rocky spurs and olive orchards. -We loved the pool. -Super tranquil and quiet stay. -The room was very comfortable with GREAT A/C. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was very nice. -Friendly service at check-in and with any questions -The service person at the pool bar was very nice. Did I mention there is a pool bar?! There's a restaurant and a lobby bar as well. -VERY short drive to Les Baux -short drive to good restaurants in nearby small towns If there was one negative, it was that there were LOTS of very bees all over the pool and close to the water. We don't hate bees; We know they are vital pollinators. I don't advocate using poisons, but my wife is very sensitive to bee stings and this could have been problematic. Overall, we were SO happy we stayed here. We wish we had stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

Dated room with pretty old furniture - some were painted to fix the day we got there (paint still wet, got on hands) Was at ‘lower’ price end so guess you get what you pay for (not cheap in my opinion). Was locked in toilet room with broken latch. Staff friendly, appetizers a little pricey, breakfast okay. Far from anything but that’s what maps are for. Car park in secure fenced area with secret code to get in, strange? Would not return.

We stayed at the property in early June and it was a wonderful stay. We had two deluxe rooms upstairs at the end of the hallway. The rooms were spotless, well maintained and had Provencal charm. The service was pleasant and friendly. We had breakfast every morning and the servers were a joy, so friendly to us Americans! The gardens and landscaping were beautiful. It was very hot outside and we enjoyed dipping in the cool water of the pool and lounging in the sun. There is a bar where you can get drinks or snacks to take to the pool area. One of the servers recommended a nearby small village for dinner, Maussane. Very cute and very Provencal, we enjoyed it. Also, we loved the location for exploring Uzes, Arles, Avignon, which are day trips. Overall, a great stay for us!

Beautiful dog friendly hotel set in an olive grove, near hill town Les Baux de Provence, and part of Alpilles National Park with miles of hiking! We did the short 40 min hike to the ancient hill town Les Baux de Provence with a castle ruins built into the rock and had lunch with a gorgeous view. We also enjoyed the nice French breakfast and light supper by the fire at the hotel. It is also only a 15 min drive to another beautiful Provence town Saint Remy. Famous for inspiring many Van Gogh paintings. We stayed in a large ground floor room that opened up to a private terrace, was great for our dog! The hotel staff were also very helpful and lovely! Highly recommend this hotel!

We have been staying at Le Mas de l’Oulivié many times. Always a pleasure to be back, beautiful pool and surroundings. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Perfect stay on all fronts. We first came with our child and now with our small dog. We always feel very welcomed.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The service was lovely, food was delicious and the rooms were so gorgeous. But by far the stand out is the pool area - plenty of room to relax with mountain views in the distance, it was the perfect place to unwind and take in the region.

We had a wonderful stay at Mas de l'Oulivie. It is set in such a beautiful place and the hotel and staff make you feel at home. The three ladies in reception met our every request and Stephen went out of his way to make us comfortable. We left with wonderful memories of Provence.

Un accueil très sympa, une dispo que nous avons eu l'occasion de tester. Quant à la chambre elle-même rien à reprocher, grande et belle douche, lit très confortable. Juste envie d'y revenir.

Great hotel but unfortunately they stole my travel wallet . I forgot a large leather travel cas containing a lot of cash and three passports and two driver's licenses in the room safe. I called the hotel within 30 minutes and they said they would look in the room. I came back and was told they had found the passports but No Wallet!!!!! The fact that they treated us like idiots made it worse. I was forced to make a police report which wasted another hour!!!! They should have sent a manager with the cleaning staff to open the safe, as is thrprocedure everywhere else !!!!

Sejour agreable, le personnel est tres avenant et au petit soins pour les clients. Toutefois l'hotel est en bord de route qui est assez passagé, c'est pas très agreable quand on veut se reposer au bord de la piscine. L'hotel est très propre, la litterie trop ferme à mon gout; nous avions une chambre assez simple et petite pour un prix relativement élevé

Tout s’est très bien passé, séjour très réussi Deux remarques: chambres à l’etage non annoncées or problème de mobilité ce qui a quelque peu gâché le séjour Chaises du jardin (petit dejeuner) tres design mais trinconfortables or pas de coussins à disposition, mais peut être volonté que l’on ne rest pas trop longtemps

Rapport qualité prix décevant .

Les photos promettent un séjour luxueux, mais l’échelle des lieux tue cette idée. Les chambres sont assez petites... et les voisins sont tout à côté! Comme dans les bungalows, on se retrouve devant sa porte avant le dîner ou après, sachant qu’il faut reprendre la voiture pour aller dîner. Pas de restaurant! La piscine , de bonne taille avec une grande pelouse tout autour, souffre d’être au bord de la route. Le petit déjeuner servi en terrasse était copieux, les viennoiseries étaient tendres et tout le monde semblait s’être donné rendez vous à la meme heure ( le phénomène bungalow?).... Le seul serveur en fonction était rapidement débordé. Pour ces prestations l’hôtel est un peu cher et le service limite. Soyez prêts à porter vos valises. Venez plutôt pour faire du vélo dans un cadre magnifique avec de nombreux villages à visiter, et vous ne serez pas déçu.

Excellent location close to tourist site Village of Boux Des Provence. Nearby restaurants. Excelente for relaxing and sightseeing. It is located at mountain site, so you need car to move around.

Excellent service. Personnel particulièrement attentionné. A l'écoute. Le personnel essait de satisfaire chaque demande. Très agréable. L ejeu de boule est super. Les chemins de baalde en campagne au départ de l'hôtel c'est top. On est juste à côté des baux de provence et du domaine de Manville et de maussane tout cela à 3 km à la ronde.

Das Hotel ist heimelig und gut geführt. Alles entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Die Anlage hält bis ins Detail die Präsentation auf der Homepage. PS: Entspricht auch dem was Golfer gerne mögen. Der Belag des Tennisplatzes in der Hotelanlage ist aus einem porösem Beton. Geht gut zum Spielen, man kriegt dann auch keine sandigen Schuhe. Netz, Stühle und Umrandung des Tennisplatzes sind unterhalten und laden zum Spiel ein (Aussage eines Interclubspielers). Die beiden nahe gelegenen Golfplätze Les Baux und Servanes sind sehr gepflegt inklusive Grüns und spannend zu spielen (Aussage eines Singel-Handicappers).

hotel vraiment parfait, rien a redire , emplacement, accueil, services, chambre, et une piscine vraiment top avec transats de qualités , nous avons déjeunés le midi et vraiment impeccable avec prix très corrects . pour trouver un seul reproche, peut être le prix de la formule du petit déjeuné trop onéreuse mais sinon impeccable. nous reviendrons

The very best thing about this hotel is the staff, who are lovely - very helpful and friendly. Overall, the hotel is charming. Excellent pool (unheated, so cold, but that's fine for us). We found the plumbing to be a bit noisy. Breakfast is very expensive for what it is, so we didn't take it - we just drove 5 mins down the road to the local village and had it there for less than half the price.

I love this hotel. It is a mile from Les Bauxite and a mill le from another town where we ate dinner a couple of times. It is located in a grove of olive trees and in the morning I went on runs to explore the area. The room was large, there was a welcoming lounge with a fireplace, and the staff was helpful. We will go back.

They have a wonderful sitting area; working fireplace makes it charming. Can't say enough about the staff. Extremely helpful.

Very good stay for 5 nights. The hotel is well located and is nicely furnished to a high standard. All in all very pleased and would return.

Wanting to be first in line at 9:30 am before the crowds at the Carrières de Lumières, we booked this nearby hotel with close access to our favorite nearby Bistrot du Paradou for dinner. The hotel is lovely, very quiet and participates in a "natural hotels' program with eco-sensitivity. The pool is very pretty - if freezing cold even in August. Our continental breakfast on the terrace was copious, with a large assortment of pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, ham, cheese and home made jams and of course very good coffee. Our little dog was welcome. We got to experience Les Baux for the first time in dozens of visits over the years, as a charming village rather than a mob tourist scene by strolling through the village at 7 PM when many stores are closed, the crowds are gone and the parking is free. When in the area we never miss a visit to Mas St Berthe to by my most favorite rosé. Arles is not far, nor is St Remy which is fun on Wednesdays when it holds it's big marché.

Charming location. Beautiful pool. Enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the garden. Only down side was there was no restaurant here and only one restaurant nearby was v pricey. New French alcohol laws meant we couldn't drive ourselves so had to get taxi. Staff helped with recommendations and arrangements

Quaint hotel in a beautiful setting. No restaurant, but they do breakfast which is ok. Bed was rock hard, air conditioning makes a lot of noise but accomplishes nothing in the way of temperature decrease, my room was like an oven! Can't open the windows due to the number of mosquitoes from various ares of standing water so it's bake or be eaten.

This hotel is a gem! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting with friendly helpful staff.

First visit to Provence, I stayed for six nights and enjoyed every minute of this elegant, yet simple, very well taken care of Mas (really deserving denomination). Wonderful and caring personnel with excellent recommendations. Can't praise them enough. IMO, this hotel can be a wonderful place where you can rest very comfortably under he sun, or simply a very convenient base for visiting southern France. In a beautiful country setting, it is certainly an alternative to staying in a city like Avignon.

Pleasant stay over; only remark i have is that the bed is a bit small for someone that is not exceptionally tall (1.80 mtr).
