Modern
Lovely hotel, reception was very helpful with any questions we had. Good choice at breakfast, the rooms are modern and cleaned to a great standard daily. The location was a 10 minute walk to the bus/ tram station to get into Venice I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay
Reaĺly good hotel. Service was amazing. Restaurant was good albeit dined there twice and second time wasnt as good. Advertised spa ans massage facilities, including a brochure about treatments in my room, but the masseuse was on holiday and not available so that was disappointing.
You can hear noise from room to room. They don’t give enough water in the room. It’s a convenient location if travelling into Venice for the day.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but there were plenty of options to choose from.
Booked this hotel for my son and he liked everything about this property except the beds, which are quite hard. He mentioned the staff were very friendly and helpful and would recommend this hotel.
Great location, easy to hop over to Venice. Parking was a pain in the but and even though we paid $20/ night we still had to park outside the gate more than once. Breakfast was pretty dope though.
We were in Venezia for the first time and hotel was amazing and GREAT
Good place to stay y easy transportation to venice center
The hotel was beautiful. We had a 5 minute walk to the tram straight into venice. A great location.
Elite Mestre Hotel is a great little hotel to stay in while visiting Venice and the other islands. Our room was small but comfortable and the WiFi was consistently great- these were the two important elements for us. The breakfast was ok. It is easy to catch a bus or a tram within five minutes to get to Venice, and there are a number of restaurants within a twenty minute walk of the hotel in Mestre. We didn’t use the spa facilities since they would have cost money and we never felt we had the time - though it would have been very nice to take a dip in a pool after the hot days in Venice.
The room
Easy access to tram to Venice. Helpful staff. Top notch facilities.
The workers were all helpful but the hotel has no microwave or any means to heat outside food
A beautiful hotel…super clean…great staff…amazing buffet breakfast!! Lots of variety!! Easy to travel towards Venezia via the tramway!
Stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were pleasant and the public areas like the lobby are quite nice, but i wouldnt say its a 4* status hotel. The location isnt great. There isnt much else around locally for convenience to shop or go for a bite to eat. It didnt feel like a great area, whicj was confinred when we realised the building next door is a local coirthouse. However, the tram stop for Venice is a 3 minute walk away. This hotel relies on the tram service, otherwise it makes no snese to stay here. The room felt dated. Didnt like tje see through glass door for the bathroom. TV is wuite old and cant stream from an app or phone. Tje air con is super noisy and cant be used at night for tjis reason. The fridge never kept constsntly cold. My wife tried the spa and said it wasnt great. For what it costs to enter she expected more. Breakfast. Hotdogs as sausages and scrambled eggs from a bottle or packet. Fruit juices were not fresh. I cant commenr on coffee as i dont drink it. I didnt mind as i wasnt oaying for my stay, but it was dissapointing compared to other 4* hotels thay do a mucj better job at breakfast. If yoive booked already - dont panic! Its okay and a good base to get into Venice quickly. But i dont think I would come back or recommend to others.
Handy hotel for minimum rest stop in Venice
The hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making check-in smooth and quick. Marcelo was very friendly. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could have asked for. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel’s location was also perfect—close to local attractions/transportation, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend anyone visiting the area.
I didnt like that i have to pay to use the pool and i have to paid for a towels is the first time that i have to pay for all these things to use
Our stay at Elite hotel was comfortable, breakfast was good and hotel is just 7 mins from tram stop which takes 15 mins to Venice. We did not use the spa.
The staff were very helpful when i was ill. The lighting around the property could be improved. Great tram service into venice, within walking distance of the hotel.
Impeccable service, very helpful and friendly staff, superb spa facilities, great breakfast and room amenities
Not alot around that area, metro is far from hotel, they have a shuttle so that helps
Very nice hotel with really good breakfast,we used the spa facilities which were good and we walked in to the city for food, and was very quiet.
Spacious enough room, cleaned every day and with a comfy enough bed. Location only a few mins walking distance from bust and tram stop taking you to Piazzale Roma! We didn’t use any hotel facilities as we were out and about the entire time, but overall really pleasant stay.
Very nice hotel, new, clean, pretty good food, good breakfast, on site restaurant. Public transport is close, but the area looks rough, on the edge of the industrial part and residential buildings (safer part). Hotel is 10 min walk to the old and pretty center in Mestre. Lots of restaurants and cafes. The only issue - please keep air conditioning longer. Sleeping in a hot room is not comfortable Air conditioning apparently does not work between seasons (October) and windows do not let enough air ( let mosquitoes in)
Good location for both airport and city centre with bus stop outside. Only issue was we arrived Monday late pm.and restaurant was closed. We did manage to find somewhere in the area to get some dinner. Had to pay extra for Spa, cap, shoes , towels
Amazing place to stay, highly recommended
It’s a beautiful property.
Lovely stay!
I personally had a terrible experience at this hotel. The “upgraded rooms” are more modern but provide no privacy. Almost the entire bathroom area is see through glass. The no privacy shower did not bother me, we found the changing ambient lighting funny but you have an unobstructed view of the toilet from almost anywhere in the room because the bathroom door and shower are glass. Imagine being on your honeymoon and your new husband watching you sit on the toilet! Our AC unit was also completely broken. The staff was not helpful and told me “some people like that” when I requested a room with more privacy. We were finally moved rooms after having to stay a night in the room with no AC or privacy. We were then transferred to a room that smelled like an ash tray, with a smaller bed and such low sloping ceilings that my husband couldn’t stand up straight to get into his luggage or use the restroom. The AC did work in that room but it never got cold. We did not receive an apology and were told we would have to call the hotel when a manager was present to get a refund for the room upgrade. We stayed two nights. There was not a manager on the premise throughout our stay.
The best hotel in this trip to Italy
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast, convenient location for transportation to both Venice island and airport.
Staff were all polite, helpful and professional, waiter in the restaurant in the evening was was exceptionally helpful & polite. Hotel is close to the city centre and bus stop is outside hotel so very convenient, room was spacious and even had a small balcony, bathroom was large with a big shower enclosure,
30 mins on public transport to Venice Island. Amazing air con. Great restaurant for dinner and breakfast had everything. Modern hotel. We did not try the free swimming pool. Congrats Elite
Trendy, clean, well kept & modern property. We enjoyed our stay. The spa could have more facilities, however we enjoyed the sauna & steam room. Wish there was a hot tub
Use as an overnight stop between flights. Staff was very helpful and assisted with all requirements. Of all the places we stayed in Italy during our trip, the most friendly and helpful reception and staff! Keep it up!
it was a wonderful option in Mestre, excellent breakfast!
Everything was impecable!
Very affordable rate with easy access to the trams to Venice Island
Really not sure what to say about this place... The photos on Expedia make it looks like a modern boutique hotel but the reality is far from that. The outside and the main area is very modern and clean, but the room we were in was on par with a $50 motel room. Everything inside the room was stained, damaged and looked unclean. Furnitures looked like they were all bought from the clearance section of Walmart. There were bugs flying all over the room. The location is good if you just want to into Venice. However around the hotel there are virtually nothing within half an hour walk.
Amazing stay lovely staff, very easy into Venice city 15 min tram. Spa was great and super clean only annoying thing was had to wear a swimming hat. Thank you
Great hotel. Really comfortable. Beds and all facilities in the room were really good. Would definitely stay again. We had some printing needed for an onward trip, alap needed assistance a few times including for a taxi, and this was all no bother for the staff to assist. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful every day. Breakfast was great, other than the orange juice, which let’s face it hotels always always have naff juices. Very clean hotel and rooms. Modern interior and feel. The location is good for the centre of Mestre. 10 mins walk into the city. But even better for Venice. Ideally located for the trains and if you drive into Venice like us, just a 15 min drive to the multi story car park on the island. The hotel also has a car park. Probably around 30 spaces. It is limited and there’s an additional charge (set out in the small print on hotels.com hotel info). We didn’t pre-book as I wanted to see what roadside parking there was. The parking roadside is plentiful, but also chargeable. There wasn’t a massive difference in price and with the added hassle of downloading an Italian app, trying to translate and pay, it was just easier paying for the hotel car park. I would pre-book though, as we were lucky to get a space/ booking as the carpark was pretty much full every day we were there. We always had a spot though.
Staff was not friendly both at front desk and breakfast area
I loved staying here. I had come back from a dirty Airbnb and seeing my room so clean was reassuring. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t use the spa because I was there just for a short time and I wanted to get out and do stuff in Venice.
Fine
1- I asked for 2 beds and got one that we split in two ourselves and shared sheets2-The AC did not work, an employee came to try and fix it and still didn’t work no other room was offered to us. The pool is not part of the hotel you need to pay about 14 euro each to have access and it closes at 9 pm. Breakfast was typical and 38 euro for 2 . Would not go back.
This hotel was pretty inside. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel staff was helpful. The hotel is about 20 mins by $1.50 tram to the main area of Venice. I preferred this area as I didn't have to drag luggage all over Venice to the hotel. Bus #15 from airport stops right in front of hotel for only $1.50. if I go to Venice again I will stay here again.
Good but the extras to access the spa were not interesting (pay for a specific kind of flip flops and a cap for the hair was not mentioned when we checked in)
In general it was good. Breakfast was awesome. Staff are friendly. Bedroom carpet floor not very clean. Our bedroom was smelling of cigarettes, that is the only negative thing. We bought tram tickets from the hotel. Apparently, you need to activate them when you get on the tram. They didnt tell us and we didnt know. We got fined for 100 euros. Do I rent this place again? yes, in general we liked it.
Hotel it’s clean and quiet. Good beds and pillows. Was clean but they don’t do my room after 1 night , no new towels so we have to re use the wet ones .
The hotel is very modern. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures online. Staff is wonderful. They only give you coffee for the espresso machine upon arrival they didn’t restock us the second day. Not sure if the water was complimentary. Close to the local tram that takes you to Venice. The area looks a little concerning but we didn’t have any issues the two nights we walked back. The hotel is an authorized dealer for the bus and tram tickets so that is very convenient. Only thing that may be bothersome is that the glass between the rooms and bathroom don’t frost for privacy so if you are traveling with friends or a partner, you better be comfortable using the bathroom and showering in front of each other. Other than that we would absolutely stay again. Book in advance for massages! We are half way through a two week stint in Europe and our feet would have thanked us but we didn’t think ahead.
Great hotel, very chic and aesthetic interior! Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the attention to detail (shower lights & under the bed lights) thanks!
Great place to stay for a couple of nights!
My stay was slightly marred by realising my booking was for one person instead of 2 . I had booked a no refund. Expedia asked me to top up by £17. Unfortunately it won’t let me pay . When I got in touch with hotel ,I was told I had to pay £33 extra per day . I thought that was an unfair amount . When we got to the hotel and asked for a consideration we were told by Marco at the reception we could go elsewhere if we wanted . That was sad to here..We decided to pay and not start our holiday on a sour note . Overall the hotel was fine. Breakfast had good choices.. You have to pay extra to use pool . The man at the bar was lovely and had very good customer relations It’s an easy tram ride to Venice and the bus drops you in front of hotel .
Lovely modern hotel, very fresh ambience. We enjoyed our stay. We had a free complimentary breakfast and that had a great selection of food, pastries, cheese, bread, veg and fruit. Excellent service. We Tried the Spa, which had different info online and in real life. Children can attend the pool in the morning and 12 any time. For the entry you need swimming cap, slippers and a towel which were charged at £3 each plus £15 entry fee, so £24 for a 4 hour visit. It felt rather a lot for a family of three as we were staying in the hotel as guest. The spa had a small pool, jacuzzi, dry and steam sauna and lots of loungers, free drinks and teas. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, we were sold tickets for an airport bus ATVO, however the bus driver said that they are only accepted on bus number 15, which is the public transport bus. Very frustrating experience as the public bus goes every 30 minutes and it's crowded, the ATVO buses were more comfortable and a lot more frequent. Best to buy tickets in the bus than from the reception! Same cost, better service.
The property was mediocre, not a 4 star at all. You have to pay for pool access even as a hotel guest, you have to pay for a swim cap, slippers, and towels if you do not have them as they are mandatory. They trun off the air conditioning whenever they feel like its unnecessary even when it is always humid in the rooms. Also as a VIP property i recived a $10 crsdit for a spa i couldnt access because the massage therapist was not there. The staff were constantly rude and non chalant and the restaurant doesnt open until 6pm so find food somewhere else. Even when they are open they dont offer room serice. Hotel has a nice esthetic and thats it. Neem to motels with more usefull staff and amenities.
Amazing place to stay, fan/AC does not really work so a little warm sleeping in 20 degree weather at night
Only there for a night but service was great and room clean and in good condition. Also just 5 minutes walk from the team stop so very easy to get back into Venice. We didn’t use the pool or Spa but this looked very nice from the outside.
Perfect
Front desk staff was very helpful
Had a room that smelled like sewage, when I mentioned it to the front desk at checkout the person didn't seem to care
The property was beautiful and a convenient walk to everything.
€15 per person to make use of the pool and spa facilities.
I like the public transportation was very close and it was easy to get into Venice and to the airport cuz bus services were there within a block. What I didn't like is you have to pay to go to the pool or the hot tub which they call a spa and it's quite pricey even if you're a guest I think it's $18 per person for 4 hours
Some members of staff were rude and unhelpful, whereas others went above and beyond to help us, we had two rooms and one room had a broken fridge and safe. The other rooms was working until our second day and the safe broke the battery ran out with all our valuable stuck inside we told the desk in the morning and they said they will sort it whilst we went out for the day we arrived back after dinner to find another safe just dumped next to the wardrobe the guy behind the desk said it wasn’t his problem two members of staff then helped but left as their shift was finishing after five mins, other safe wasn’t even programmed and was useless. Shower wasn’t fully clean and mould on ceiling, hairs on bathroom floor also. Struggled to find anywhere for food unless your willing to walk a mile or two elsewhere your limited to two or three restaurants. Be careful on where though as some were very hostile and had waiters and older gents making young girls feel very uncomfortable. I would highly recommend Da pinos which is a short walk to mestre town centre we ate there three or four times as we felt safe and food was amazing Transport into Venice is very simple however and was a fairly easy process. Overall I probably wouldn’t stay here again mostly due to rudeness from staff, as I say not all were rude some where amazing. But it was mostly a battle to get anything sorted
The services provided, particularly the spa access needs more clarity.I feel like even though spa access was purchased initially, there is always a possibility that you pay again for its access.I'm not talking about the specific spa services .Prudence is required at all time. Besides,it'd have been great to get the access directly assigned to the room access card to avoid continually going to the reception.Small things like that may alter negatively your stay.
All staff is friendly and helpful, but the room inside seems a bit old ...
The self-catering facilities in the apartment were very limited, and the nearest supermarket was quite a wall away. The room itself was fine, and the staff were very good. It would have been good to actually be able to use the spa facilities (the reason we booked that hotel) without having to pay a surcharge. The additional costs of using the spa need to be clearer on Expedia when booking. The location near the tram made it easy to get into Venice.
the spa need to pay separately and still have to pay for the towel
Ok
Super!
Great solo traveler room, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location with secure parking and easy tram access to Venice. The breakfast was also amazing.
Not a great experience. Firstly we were refused a second door card as it was “hotel policy” to only issue one. But, this card is needed for electricity to work in the room meaning one person couldn’t leave and re-enter. Managed to get a second card the following day after a complaint. Also the room is completely impractical & noisy. There was no privacy for the bathroom. I guess having clear glass walls for the shower would seem romantic. But, also having no privacy for the toilet, hiding from watching your partner wipe their own ass kinda kills the romance. At night the room is noisy with uncomfortable pillows. There was a water gushing sound every 2 mins for about 2 seconds to fill up a tank. This was annoying enough for you to not get to sleep. Also the walls were not solid so there was noise from adjacent rooms. Quite frankly we had the worst 3 nights sleeps ever. Oh, and we had an issue in the night where we couldn’t turn off the desk spotlights. We got a man come to try and resolve but he couldn’t figure it out. His resolution was to put the bright spotlights into a paper coffee cup filled full of tissue and taped closed. This did work but surely heat building up was a fire / safety risk. It all felt like a Faulty Towers moment. Finally, residents still have to pay to use the swimming pool. Very poor. You would have a more comfortably stay in a Travelodge. Actually, maybe a Premier Inn, to be a little more classy.
Confortable. Would stay here again.
Amazing property and location 18 min tram ride into Venice, and you get to go back to the quiet after the hustle & bustle of Venice. I would definitely choose to stay here again when going back to Venice. Staff are super helpful, hotel is lovely and nice touch on my Birthday presented with cake and candle at breakfast!
Very clean property.spacious bathroom and comfortable room Staff was extremely helpful and kind.I really enjoyed my stay there
The hotel was new and clean. However, I did not like the clear glass walls on the washroom. This might be okay if you are alone, but with a partner there was no privacy in the bathroom. The other person could see/hear everything.
Excellent Hotel, and Service; it lives up to the Elite in its name. Great location, just 15mins from Venice from the tram just a 5min walk from the hotel. Irons not readily available in the rooms, but by request. Highly recommend!
Broken air conditioning on the first night and had to sleep in a 90 degree room. Rude staff who told us he only had one fan and was not too when we asked for something to offset the heat. The entire stay was difficult and unpleasant.
The air conditioning was broken the first night and the room was unbearably hot. The air quality was poor, so sleeping with the window open helped, but created another problem because we could not breathe comfortably. The evening person on staff, Francesco, was completely unaccommodating. When we asked for a fan, he said he was hot too and he only had one fan. The day manager (Marco) provided assistance to make it right, but it required effort and multiple conversations for it to be done correctly. They did not communicate effectively and we had to repeat multiple times that our breakfast was complimentary and we were able to access the sauna and terrace. We chose this hotel for convenience to/from the airport, but it was a horrible way to spend my anniversary. The only “4 star” thing about this hotel is the lobby. The rooms are worn and had rust, dry rotted wood door frames and dated showers and overall design. Do not recommend.
Perfect location for day trips to Venice
We had a terrible experience, so not recommend. AC did not work for most of my stay and staff refused to do anything about it.
The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Beautifully decorated but they would only provide us with one key which made it very difficult for my husband and I to come and go seperatly as we pleased. The air conditioning was also not very effective and the toilet paper tissue was incredibly rough.
We were on the top floor of the hotel and the ceiling in our room was VERY slow. There were parts where we had to duck and couldn’t stand, including to get to the other side of the bed. Also loud, it sounded like chairs scraping and people walking above us but again, we were on the top floor. Very clean and nice facility though
Good location if you want to get to the center of Venice by tram, breakfast is fine, you may need to pay extra if you want a different type of eggs for breakfast. The duvet is not covered with a cover, but you get two sheets, which is not appropriate for such a hotel.
Very good! Convenient location.
It wasn’t bad experience but not Good enough also, Front office staffs some was nice but some of them was Rude. For House Guests also Swimming pool has to pay separately that’s Ridiculous. If you already paid nearly €200 for 1 night and pay extra to use swimming pool. On Marketing purposes their selling point is pool and they taking extra €30 for use a pool one time access only. In future I won’t go back again..
Beautiful building. Location is also great 15 min from the airport and even right next to bus stop that takes you to airport At the reception brunette younger girl was soooo helpful. Seriously what a nice spot. I even went for a massage what was not expensive either. Their spa is tremendous only 15€ per day extra. Highly recommend y’all staying there.
We try tp cancel the booking but it hotel did not cancel it and we last our payment and never used the hotel
Definitely not a four star...well at least if you did not book directly with the hotel. We were extremely disappointed in Elite Hotel and Spa. Our room looked nothing like the pictures of the two room flat that we booked. My university dorm room was nicer. The pull out bed had a slanted mattress with box springs sticking out. We actually had to put our pillows on the opposite side so the blood did not rush to our heads. There seems to be a 2-tier system where if you book directly with the hotel you get the updated wing of the hotel, while if you book with a 3rd party you get old, tired and sad looking rooms. There was no coffee machine in the rooms as advertised and the walls were extremely thin so you could hear everything around you. When we showed the staff the pictures of the rooms we actually booked, the staff said there were the same rooms but the pictures were just taken from different angles. Again, the room we got looked nothing like the pictures, it was not how the "angles" were shot. We will never come back.
Great hotel and staff. Rooms excellent and easy aceces to Venice
We chose this hotel because the swimming pool and Jacuzzis. But there’s an extra fee to use it. And it’s not cheap. They should at least say it on the booking page.
Great location , excellent facilities and service. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
Ridiculous fee to use pool, 30 EUR per person + 10 EUR to buy a swim cap (required). Only picked this hotel to use the pool, so was sorely disappointed on arrival.
Amazing staff! Hotel was nice and clean. Comfortable bed made it seem like I was back at home.
Loved the service. Hotel was clean and is located in a great area (close to the train station and to the stop to go to Venice). Plus delicious breakfast.
Lovely hotel, breakfast was amazing every day. Make sure you carefully check the photos of your room, we did not realise there was no privacy for the shower/toilet to the bed… clear glass doors! Was ok as I was with my husband, but not normally something I would choose. Air con was not great.
3 min walking to the T1 (tram) that goes to Venice (15-20 min ride). Quiet. Own parking. Clean. We didn't get to the pool but I noticed the staff cleaning the windows every day.
One of our rooms had a slight odor, everything else was excellent
