Very convenient to the train station.

Small, dated room, with noisy air conditioner. Luckily it was late in the season and we didn't need it. Very expensive for what we got, but the whole town seems to be that way. Staff was indifferent.

We went in August and the room had no air con and was unbearably hot. Also the room and bathroom was very cramped, the sink couldn't even fit in the bathroom so was in the bedroom

In a central location.

The rooms need to be renovated, not just new furniture. Especially the bathrooms. The heating was just a portable unit that had exhaust thought the window. I think the original heating was broken 😕 The carpet on the stairs leading up to the rooms needs to be changed, it is worn-out. The room cost was not cheap, so I expected it was better.

The Astoria is in an ideal location to stroll around Jasper with many restaurants all around.

The room was clean but definitely felt old and stuffy. We had a premium room with a mountain view....but the mountains were far away and across a street, parking lot and railway tracks.

Located on the main Jasper strip and walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Hotel provides breakfast $20 voucher for one morning. Free parking across the street. Bed was comfy and coffee was provided . It was good value for the area and I recommend it if you want to be “downtown” Jasper

We had mountain facing room and could hear cars, train , people. Room came with white noise machine and this really helped drown out the noise.

Room was very small for a family and cost was very high for such small room. No other amenities.

All the rooms are one floor up and there is no elevator. The rooms are very small. The bathroom is tiny. Make sure you get your parking registered before parking at the adjacent car park.

wife didn’t like the steps

Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The fitted bed sheets were smaller than the mattress topper so the mattress was elevated and you were sleeping on an angle, not flat. The floors were filthy so make sure you wear shoes. My booking said we had a $20 per person voucher per day for breakfast yet we only got one $20 voucher per room for the 3 nights we were there.

The location is great, the staff at the reception was helpful.

The room I was originally assigned had sting smoke smell (apparently from the pizza place nearby). It took quite a lot of convincing to be able to move rooms due to hotel being fully booked (staff subsequently agreed that the smell was unacceptable and had to air out the room for the guests arriving later)

Perfect location in downtown Jasper, shops, restaurants/fastfoods, grocery stores, Visitor Center, parking fee included in hotel rates.

Old hotel, bathroom is very tight, not a lot of space in the room, no elevator which is not a big issue for us because it’s only up to 2nd floor. It is an issue for people with mobility problems. No lobby for hanging out. Our window faces the downtown area with the mountains in the backdrop, but it has no balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr klein mit drei Personen. Kein Schrank, mobiles Klimagerät im Zimmer, Waschbecken im Zimmer weil Bad zu klein. Man muss sich über die Toilette stellen um die Tür zu öffnen/schliessen.

It was a hotel room only, everything was out dated, bathroom vanity was situated in the bedroom come everything. No were to open your ports or place your toiletries. If you were are larger person you wouldn't get in the shower as the toilet was also in there and the door to the shower wouldn't open. Again had to walk three flights of steps with heavy bags. Older couples this would be impossible as quite step.

Leaving was the best feeling, absolutely horrible. The is nothing to like about this plavce

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE. If this is the last hotel room left in Jasper that you can get, do yourself a favour and drive to your next town on your itinerary. This hotel is, by far, the worst room we have ever had by a long way anywhere in the world. Some of the reviews expressed by guests who say they loved the place must be on something very special, fake reviews, surely not. Let me enlighten prospective guests. Tiny room, even tinier bathroom( would fit in a freestanding wardrobe). Bed was rock hard, back destroying. Arrived to checking at 3 pm, the exact answer was “we don’t start checkin until 4pm, come back later.” No advice where to park or where to unload luggage we had to interrogate to get this info. When you get a letter from the family owners in the room that they prefer you to speak to them instead of posting a review the warning bells go off. At over $460cad for the night you expect at least a 3 star, no this is below one. The owners should be paying you to stay here. We are so angry that this hotel gets way with this standard. Tv would work, air conditioning is loud and must be at least 25 years old. No carpets. Towels were threadbare and frayed on ends. Basin won’t fit in bathroom so is next to bed, you have to dry yourself in bedroom as you can’t do it in bathroom space. The walls are paper thin, noise from outside is deafening. You hear everything. Be warned this place is an insult to word hotel. You have been warned..

Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße und man erreicht alles in Jasper leicht zu Fuß. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite ist ein großer Parkplatz. Im Hotel wird das Kennzeichen registriert und man kann auf diesem und jedem anderen Parkplatz in Jasper kostenlos parken.

Das Hotel hatte auf jeden Fall das kleinste Zimmer der ganzen Reise. Für 3 Personen und vor allem das Gepäck war das schon eine Herausforderung. Dazu kommt, dass das Zimmer keine eingebaute Klimaanlage hat. Stattdessen steht ein Standgerät mit einem Schlauch nach außen im Zimmer, was den Raum noch kleiner macht. Immerhin ist es so laut, dass man Zug- und Autoverkehr kaum hört. Der Preis entspricht dem Jasper Niveaus, nicht aber dem Zimmer.

no me gusto nada del alojamiento. Mucho Calor, ruido, no funcionaban el aire, no me avisaron de que el parking lo pagaban ellos , olor a comida . En fin un desastre!,,,

Nous n'avons vraiment rien aimé dans cet hotel. La tele était bien et c'est un peu près tout. Un désastre.

Un hotel de l'époque, très vétuste, très mal isolé, avec un réceptionniste qui n'a rien à faire là. Dans la chambre, il y a petit frigo sans congélateur. On a eu une chambre assez petite qui donne sur la route. On entendait chaque nuit les gens du bar en bas sur la terrasse jusqu'à minuit, puis les trains cargo qui passent vers 2-3h du matin avec un bruit affreux. Trouvez un autre hotel si vous cherchez du calme et vous voulez être comfortable. Rapport qualité prix est mauvais.

unser Zimmer war gegen hinten und auch nachts voll im Generatorenlärm, schrecklich/ das Zimmer selber war sauber (ausser der blinden Scheibe), aber mit Möbeln vollgestopft, die völlig unzweckmässig sind (wo versorgt man seine Kleider?) und auch völlig veraltet - eine Modernisierung ist dringend notwendig

Das Hotel hat Charme und liegt sehr zentral. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Es ist ein guter Standort für Ausflüge in das Umland. Im Gegensatz zu allen anderen Hotels auf unserer Reise gibt es hier genügend Haken im Bad zum Aufhängen der Handtücher!

Das sehr kleine Zimmer ist leider zu voll gestellt mit Möbeln, die nicht wirklich benötigt werden (Glastisch, Sessel etc.) sowie einem großen Klimagerät. Wir waren vier Personen und konnten unsere Koffer nur sehr bedingt unterbringen.

Great location on the edge of Jasper (quick and easy to get in and out of town) comfortable bed and great sized room. Small bathroom but only need for shower and toilet! Close to restaurants and bakery. Restaurant and pub onsite. Parking is across the road. No issues finding parking bay when required. Only had breakfast one day at attached restaurant. nice food, good service and reasonable choices. I would be happy to stay again.

Aircon only blew air - wasn't cold - just room temperature which was not useful in the heat in mid July. Hotel is worn and could do with some maintenance. I reported an issue with toilet and they sent someone to fix quickly which was appreciated. Price was inflated for room but was same all across Jasper - supply and demand! Staff friendly.

The location!!!! It’s within walking distance to restaurants and town. Jasper town is beautiful and lively but not as commercialised like Banff. It’s a lovely town that i would not mind to come again.

The room is really tiny and no hot water and water pressure is so weak that taking a bath is such a pain. The front desk said there is hot water but it will come slowly. It’s so slow that i have to finish my shower in cold water the whole time.

Essendo sulla strada principale, c’è stato rumore di auto e soprattutto di treni tutta la notte. Anche le tubature dell’acqua sono molto rumorose

Hotel situato in zona centralissima nella meravigliosa Jasper, supermercati e negozi a pochi passi. Struttura in stile montano abbastanza datata ma con un suo fascino. Microonde disponibile nella zona comune. Staff disponibile.

Il bagno è molto piccolo ma comunque funzionale.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber hübsch eingerichtet. Das Haus ist über 100 Jahre alt . Gleich nebenan ist ein tolles Restaurant wo es Dinner und Frühstück mit einem Coupon von Hotel gibt.

Das gebuchte Komfort Zimmer lag zur Rückseite des Hauses und direkt vor dem Fenster eine riesige Klimabox, die höllischen Krach gemacht hat...wie soll man dabei schlafen. Völlig schmutzig waren die Fenster.

Too basic for the price.

The hotel is lovely. Nicely renovated but still has the charm of it's past. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Checking in is convenient with free parking across the street. The location is great as there are many restaurants, shops and bars very close by. The room was a little tight for 3 of us adults but the beds were comfortable and the room and linens were very clean. We had a fantastic dinner at Papa George's!

재스퍼다운타운 가장 중심가에 위치해 있어서 도보로 모든 시설을 방문 할 수 있고 길건너 공용주차장을 무료로 이용 할 수 있도록 조치가 되어서 좋았습니다.화재로 인해 숙박 시설이 부족한 재스퍼에 가성비 좋은 호텔입니다.

특별히 아쉬운 점은 없으며 오래된 관광지 호텔로 훌륭합니다.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers für den hohen Preis. Wie viele andere bereits vor mir geschrieben haben: Die sehr einfache und teilweise veraltete Ausstattung der Zimmer wäre vollkommen okay, wenn es günstiger wäre. Das Zimmer war aber vollkommen überteuert und dazu sehr klein und der einzige Rechtfertigungsgrund scheint die zentrale Lage des Hotels zu sein. Der Herr am Empfang war zwar höflich, machte aber keinen besonders motivierten Eindruck.

WILDLY overpriced, not worth it at all. Tiny rooms for the price. Some of the staff were unhelpful and didn't speak the language well, and the TV had issues.

Good position, but not worth it for money and service

Disappointing stay at Hotel Astoria. I strongly recommend avoiding this place: ​Hygiene issues: Unusable AC unit with filters completely covered in dust and dirt, emitting a foul smell. ​Poor service: Faulty mini-fridge (had to throw food away) and staff failed to freeze our ice packs as promised. Ice machine was out of order. ​Cramped room: Extremely tight space—we could barely open a suitcase on the floor. ​No customer care: Despite photo and video proof of every issue, management refused to offer any partial refund.

Rooms were VERY SMALL . Light switches for bathroom were in a VERY inconvenient location. Shower pressure and heating consistently was poor. Location was the only GREAT thing!

La ubicación y que nos regalaron el parking y un Bono de 20 dólares para desayunar. La habitación es grande y limpia.

La habitación tiene muchísimos ruidos del exterior y para colmo hay un aire acondicionado colocado a la ventana y está no se puede cerrar. Dejando entrar el ruido de los trenes que pasan cada poco tiempo, el tráfico y los restaurantes de debajo de la habitación. Sería tan sencillo como instalar ese aire en otro sitio y cerrar la doble ventana que tiene. En fin hemos estado dos noches y hemos dormido mal.

La habitación era agradable, cama grande y cómoda. Reponían el café cada día (nespreso).

Baño muy pequeño. No hay zona común para poder relajarse o tomar algo aunque había un microondas en medio de un pasillo. Se descansa bastante mal, se escuchan los trenes durante toda la noche.

Camera pulita e accogliente. in centro a Jasper con parcheggio in strada gratuito incluso.

Cannot really say. Some error between booking.com and Astoria according to Astoria. Our money taken. The booking was for two nights. After a day out our belongings in storage and at 4 pm Saturday peak season had no where to go. Reason no room available, that night. I have used booking.com for several years never had money taken, booking confirmed and then accommodation drop half the booking, remove our belongings and tell us to contact booking.com.

It was a very stressful situation to not have accommodation that was booked, money taken, confirmed and then evicted.

Hotel erg oud en ziet er smoezelig uit. Personeel helpt inchecken maar kijkt verder niet naar je om. Erg duur voor wat je krijgt.

Centrally located and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property has its own restaurant and bar and on checking in you are given a discount card to use at each, although this is single use, even if staying for more than one night. Check in is efficient and the staff are welcoming. The room is clean and well appointed. Parking is across the road in a public parking area and as the check in process included giving car details you do not have to pay when using this public parking area.

Hotel bonito, muito bem localizado, bem em frente a vista incrível das montanhas de Jasper. Recebi todas as informações que precisava para os passeios na recepção e voucher de 20 dólares para tomar café da manhã no restaurante abaixo. Também há um pub no hotel com cervejas variadas e refeições

Por ser uma casa antiga algumas instalações são antigas, como interruptores e ar condicionado de janela, mas nada que atrapalhe. Há também a prática de fazer uma cobrança de 200 dólares no cartão como caução que é comum no Canadá mas cancelaram logo após o checkout
