Large room, all fine, except the lack of coat hangers in the cupboard. Easy to park outside. Huge swimming pool and no problem getting sunbeds even though the public can also pay to access the pool. Excellent having the funicular running up and down to the road/beach into the late evening, although it would have helped to have been told this on arrival.

We had a small hiccup with our dinner booking at the cliffside restaurant which was dealt with well by the reception staff (who'd unfortunately got our room number wrong), but badly by the waiter in the restaurant (who couldn't be bothered calling reception to confirm our room number) and resulted in us spending the evening looking at the kitchen doors, or the internal swimming pool rather than at the beautiful view. Annoyingly, there were plenty of unoccupied tables on the cliffside that remained so all night. It's true that we could have moved once the confusion had been sorted, as the kind lady on reception suggested, but my partner didn't want the fuss and bother. The only reason I mention it is that we were invited by the hotel in an email before we arrived to book there to take advantage of the amazing views. We chose to go there on our last night and on my husband's birthday and for me, the attitude of the waiter who didn't want to listen to me and couldn't be bothered sorting out the confusion when we arrived, spoilt an otherwise very pleasant evening. When I mentioned at the end of the dinner that the table we were supposed to sit at had remained empty, he walked away, while I was talking. Very rude.

All'arrivo il ragazzo alla reception è stato molto cortese e professionale , il direttore e tutto lo staff sono stati super cordiali e disponibili fino al check out ♥️ . Bellissimo l'hotel , la vista , ci tornerei volentieri.

Le bariste all'ultimo piano dove c'è la piscina avevano un atteggiamento un po' ostile non sembravano contente di lavorare a contatto con il pubblico. Non tutte le porte finestre della stanza avevano la sicura funzionante. Detto ciò , a malincuore, è stato bellissimo soggiornare lì.

Відсутність в номері звичних для 4 зірок речей: фен, чайник + кавоварка. Сам готель - це ще той лабіринт =)) А таблички в кий бік треба йти висять не всюди і містять часом не всю інформацію.

La posizione semplicemente eccezionale.Dalla nostra camera la doppia esposizione dava la sensazione di essere in crociera. Molto godibile la piscina, e l'accesso alla spiaggia privata. Esperienza da ripetere.

Traumlage, ruhig, hatten Balkon Zimmer mit grandioser Aussicht auf Hafen und Strand/Stadt Arenzano. Beim leckeren Nachtessen Sicht aufs Meer genossen. Grosser Pool, ideal zum relaxen und Längen schwimmen. Es hatte immer genügend Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen gratis auch viele Schattenplätze unter den Bäumen. Zwischendurch mit der Standseilbahn runter zum Strand am Meer zum schwimmen, bei Bedarf 2 Liegen 1 Sonnenschirm für 55 €. Arenzano ist zu Fuss dem Meer entlang in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Ideale Autofreie Fahrradstrecken dem Meer entlang.

Fantastic restaurant, very big room with comfortable bed although furnished sparingly was still amazing value for the price. We did not get to enjoy the pool, because we only stayed one night but the facilities are truly top notch. The funicular was very helpful going down the steep cliff. It was malfunctioning for our ride back, but the hotel sent someone to pick us up by car.

The view from the bedroom was obstructed by overgrown bushes and trees. That is the only negative I have, but it was just the one room we stayed in. The other rooms seem to have a spectacular view of the ocean

Non mi è piaciuto che lo staff delle pulizie facesse dei commenti a voce alta su ospiti che avevano fatto delle richieste. Le macchie sulla moquette del corridoio

- privacy camera (collegata con un'altra camera tramite porta per cui si sentivano gli ospiti confinanti) e balcone. - bagno con impianti obsoleti (doccia nella vasca con rischio cadute) - ascensore obsoleto e lentissimo - bar della piscina caro - funicolare caratteristica ma inquietante (impianto critico che necessita di un'alternativa moderna) da usarsi solo come backup. Inoltre poco sicura in quanto usabile da tutti e non solo dagli ospiti dell'hotel e con limitazioni di orario

tout était parfait, la grande chambre avec vu sur la mer, la piscine , le petit déjeuner. Le personnel aimable et disponible. L'endroit parfait pour passer un séjour de rêve.

nous avons tout apprécié. Peut être que le funiculaire devrait être modernisé.... bien que très pratique, nous ne nous sentons pas trop en sécurité dedans.

Magnifique vue notamment depuis la terrasse du petit déjeuner. Literie très bien. Un personnel très agréable et des services très appréciables.

La pression de l'eau chaude sous la douche/ baignoire. Les joints un peu noircis.. pas à la hauteur du standing.

La posizione/vista panoramica, la pulizia (ottima), la comodità dei letti, la colazione (variata e abbondante) e il personale gentile e molto disponibile.

La struttura è un po' vetusta, per esempio l'acqua della doccia era un po' instabile e difficile da regolare oppure una persiana era staccata nell'aggancio in alto e con il vento la notte sbatteva un poco (problema che abbiamo segnalato alla Reception). C'è un solo ascensore, piuttosto lento, per salire alle camere. Non mi è piaciuto il fritto misto, alquanto "gommoso", che mi è stato servito al bar durante un pranzo.

Lá vue etait belle, espace de vie ample, le ballcon etait bien assez grand. Les rue en contre bas etait três paisible et une petite ville três charmante.

Perfect place to stay at funchal. Very close to everything, walking distance from every place to visit. Breakfast was really good and they even prepared some for us the day we left very early for a hike. The rooftop pool is very nice and cosy. The staff were so nice.

Da rivedere la pulizia ed in generale la cura del luogo. È una struttura che merita, ma andrebbe potenziata con un po' di cura, per esempio la zona piscina. Assolutamente sconsigliato mangiare e bere nel bar in piscina, una rapina i prezzi proposti

Das Personal immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hervorragend besonders das Frühstücksbuffet einfach toll. Wir kommen seit Jahren und freuen und bereits auf das nächste Mal 😎😎

Die Möbel in den Zimmer sind schon etwas älter.

Die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht, aus jedem Zimmer war die Aussicht noch schöner. Der Pool ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch groß und lädt zum entspannen ein. Die Bademeister/in sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Service Personal vom Frühstück und vor allem vom a la carte Restaurant der Wahnsinn. Trotz Sprach Barriere wurden wir im Restaurant nicht links gelassen. Daher vielen Dank ans Service Personal vom Abend, ihr habt das alles wieder gut gemacht, was an der Poolbar nicht so toll geklappt hat.

Sehr hellhörig. Leider stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht mit dem ganzen Paket (Zimmer, a la cart, Mittagessen, Privatstrand) überein. Sehr schade.

Hotel in posizione invidiabile a picco sul mare. Ottimo ristorante e fantastica piscina da 30 metri vista mare. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una camera vista mare design ed era perfetta. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e disponibile a risolvere una nostra problematica. Un ringraziamento alla ragazza alla reception per la professionalità e la gentilezza con cui ci ha trattato.

L hôtel est très bien placé avec une vue sur la mer magnifique .tres bon petit déjeuné mais tarifs malgré tout un peu trop élevé .

Everything in one place. Location is great. Property is clean and nicely maintained. Staffs are well trained. Bar is always open. Restaurant has great food and wine.

Nothing major. We travelled during ferragosto week so a couple of older staffs were too tired and complaining. One lady at the breakfast buffet place was rude (only once). But we anticipated the craziness during this week 😅

Terrazza all’ultima piano molto cheap (arredamento del bar in plastica…). Chiazze di algue in fondo alla piscina. Ristorante assolutamente non all’altezza della location. Fritto di mare simil-surgelato con 4 gamberi di numero e zero gamberoni! E pavlova fatta con chantilly di bomboletta. Vergognoso! Colazione di basso livello tranne la focaccia. Consiglio vivamente d’investire in uno chef vero!

Das Hotel ist fantastisch gelegen und hat einen wunderbaren Pool.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Das Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr schön, alles schon ein wenig älter aber sehr gepflegt.Der Zugang zum Meer mit dem Schrägaufzug ist sensationell.

Das Frühstück war ok, aber bei der Preisklasse sollte morgens ein Koch da sein, der besondere Dinge zubereiten, wie ein Spiegelei oder Omelette,kann.So gab es nur Rührei (wahrscheinlich das aus Pulver).Außerdem sollte man Treppen mögen.Aufgrund der Hanglage gibt es davon sehr viele.

The swimming pool was amazing, it's rare to find such a huge pool with plenty of space to swim...

For the price that we paid for a room (approx £250/night) it was extremely disappointing. The rooms (we had two) were big but the furniture was old, tired and marked. The rooms looked nothing like the photos. The gym was a joke...a functioning gym is a priority of ours. There are so many additional charges that if you want to lie comfortably on the beach for a week expect an extra €385 per couple. We also had problems getting beds next to the pool. Some were still reserved at 3pm for 'day visitors' and others had used hotel towels but no personal items that staff refused to clear... The hallways are drab and missing wall art and plants. It has a slightly prison feel to it. My children hated it but I could see the merits and envisioned it in better times. With further investment it could definitely be a beautiful hotel again. The staff were all super (apart from the lifeguard who was argumentative when we asked him to clear the discarded towels on the unoccupied sun beds)...I attach plenty of photos as evidence...Actually I can only attach 4 so you can't see the state of the bathroom or the empty weights rack in the gym....

I chambre très spacieuse avec magnifique vue sur mer. Super petit déjeuner. Pour un établissement 4 etoiles Il manquait une possibilité de se faire un café dans la chambre (machine a café), maus c'est nette touche personnelle. Si vous n'êtes pas amateur de café, ce n'est pas vraiment grave.

Que tenía que pedir el coche ya que lo guardaba en el garaje privado y no está en el mismo alojamiento. Pero era más por no estar molestando al personal.

Colazione ottima, tornerei solo per la colazione...sicuramente i punti persi sulla struttura li avete recuperati sulla varietà e qualità della colazione, bravi. Nulla da dire sul personale, molto professionale, gentile e disponibile...la vera forza di questa struttura, oltre alla vista naturalmente!

La struttura a "prima vista" pensavamo fosse più curata dal punto di vista qualitativo...strutturale....invece abbiamo notato diversi punti maltenuti, non ripristinati o "sitemati alla meglio"! Non è ciò che ci si aspetta da una struttura del genere.... Anche il bar della piscina andrebbe rinnovato...ci vuole poco nel far apparire un bar con una certa "classe" da un bar simil "pensione pinuccia...": non ci siamo...questi dovrebbero essere i punti di forza di un hotel di "Prestigio"....basta confrontare le strutture di alcuni hotel internazionali...tutt'altra cosa....dal bancone, ai tavoli/sedie, lo sfondo a vista....sarebbe tutto da cambiare.... Infine la piscina, sicuramente una grande piscina olimpionica ma non sicuramente una piscina panoramica degna della vista spettacolare dell'hotel...sembra più una piscina statale che una piscina di un grande hotel...mi spiace ma l'impressione è stat questa purtroppo...

There was a quite serious issue in the restaurant but I won't go into detail as the manager on reception dealt with it swiftly and beyond appropriately so I won't sully the stay with details.

Opzich is het hotel ruim opgezet maar wel echt verouderd. Wel echt Italiaans!

Onze kamer had airco maar bij de airco was enorm veel schimmel.

Vue magnifique sur la mer, piscine très agréable avec des emplacements au soleil ou à l’ombre des arbres. Le personnel accueillant et serviable. L’accès facile à la ville grâce au funiculaire. Très bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Les chiens sont très bien accueilli, nous avons pu aller partout avec le notre.

Fin vy från rummet med den stora terrassen. Rekommenderar ristorante "lounge hak" M'are som ligger vid stranden snett neråt vänster uppifrån hotellet sett, där vi åt lunch och en kväll Apericena precis vis strandkanten.

Blev alldeles för mycket gå upp och ner för att bada i havet. Sedan är det norr läge så kvällssolen uteblev tyvärr. Det gick att hyra hotellets egna "strand" med 2 stolar och parasoll vid havet för 55 euro om dagen som jag personligen tycker är på tok för mycket!! Den servicen tycker jag nog de skulle kunna sänka till mer än halva priset om du bor på hotellet enligt mig. Gick man ner på den allmäna stranden kunde du hyra "samma" uppsättning för 35 euro plus att du kunde äta grym lunch på M'are som äger de faciliteterna.

Très belle vue, chambres bien équipées, accès facile par le funiculaire, c'était une belle expérience, le personnel très gentil.

Le petit déjeuner était vraiment médiocre, la décoration des chambres un peu vieillote.

Ein riesengroßer Pool mit unendlich viele liegemöglichkeiten auch im Baum Schatten. Mit herrlicher Aussicht über das Meer. Mit einem Stehaufzug kommt man zum Hotel eigenen Strand. Frühstück außergewöhnlich reichhaltig mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Netter, klimatisierte Frühstücksraum, Personal, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Woooowwwww was für ein freundliches Personal, von Corinna der Rezeptionsfee bis hin zu dem „ coolen „ Jakobi dem Bademeister. Alle kenne ich leider nicht mit. Namen. Wir beide haben uns dort so erholt. Ich sage nur viele Wege führen dort an ein Ziel.;) Das Frühstück war der Wahnsinn, soviel Auswahl…. Von allem etwas dabei. Der Pool so riesig und zum Strand mit Fahrstuhl abwärts , schnell erreicht. Das Personal bekommt 4 Sterne.

Hm Preis Leistung ist doch sehr hoch Extra Liegen und Schirm 55€ ist sehr viel, wenn man bedenkt was man schon bezahlt. ( am Hotelstrand). Aber dies ist nur meine Meinung. Und auch einiges benötigt dringend eine Restauration

L'hotel vanta di una vista a picco sul mare magnifica, senza eguali; questo è sicuramente il punto forte della struttura. La colazione buona, come scelta un po' per tutti i gusti. Mi aspetterei forse qualcosa in più da un hotel così grande e con una struttura così imponente, ad esempio più ricerca di materie locali del posto da proporre agli ospiti in particolare yogurt, cereali e frutta/frutta secca. Hanno una funicolare che è ad uso anche di chi non dorme all'hotel che porta direttamente al mare, abbiamo scelto questa soluzione proprio perché non dovevamo spostare la macchina ed era comodissimo. La stanza era pulita e comoda, altro punto forte è che hanno una piscina enorme bellissima, per chi non ha piacere di scendere al mare.

In generale ho trovato che alla struttura in sé manchi un po' di carattere: la 4 stella è per la vista sul mare che fa salire di livello tutto, perché se no ciò che offre è un buon tre stelle, a parer mio. Migliorerei i dettagli, la hall la adornerei forse con qualcosa in più perché non risulti anonima, le stanze idem, anche dove si mangia e gli spazi esterni. Forse soprattutto gli spazi esterni, ad esempio dove c'è l'enorme piscina (bellissima) una qualche pianta o un cambio di sdraio/sedie per prendere il sole. Cercherei di migliorarne l'aspetto estetico.

Micul dejun a fost ok. Locatia pe o stanca cu o priveliste frumoasa de unde puteai admira marea dar si statiunea in acelasi timp.

Din punctul meu de vedere plaja mica si cu pietre, dar si apa care avea o pacla cred ca de la ambarcatiunile din jur .

Points positifs : - L'emplacement, qui permet d'avoir une vue magnifique depuis le roof top/piscine - Literie/climatisation excellents. - Petit déjeuner copieux/varié et bon. - Funiculaire pour rejoindre le bord de mer de manière rapide, originale et efficace. - Le personnel : Sympathique, souriant, disponible.

Points moins appréciables : - Objectivement, à l'exception du rooftop/piscine et du restaurant extérieur/petit déjeuner, l'hôtel est esthétiquement assez laid. Pour être habitué d'hôtels 4/5 étoiles en Europe, le standing est très inférieur, que ce soient les couloirs, la déco de la chambre, etc... Il manque même le basique, à savoir bouilloire/machine à café ! - La salle de bain : heureusement nous ne sommes pas gros, sinon il aurait fallu se couper un bras pour aller aux toilettes et s'asseoir sur la cuvette... Et le support de douche abîmé, on ressent le manque de soin sur les détails.

Stanze un po’ datate la struttura avrebbe bisogno di essere rimodernata. Parcheggio a pagamento, spiaggia a pagamento 50 euro al giorno non inclusa nel prezzo della camera. Menu Ristorante un po’ deludente rispetto ai prezzi

Personale molto gentile, accogliente e professionale. Il servizio che viene fornito è ottimo (recuperano auto al parcheggio, teli sempre nuovi anche in spiaggia,…). La struttura è pulita, le stanze spaziose, silenziose e ordinate. Una vista spettacolare col il fantastico frinire delle cicale. La posizione è suggestiva e strategica sia per arrivare in spiaggia (funicolare) sia in centro (facendo il tunnel). Colazione super abbondante e variata!

Great place with stunning views, we stayed for one extra night.

Le personnel à l'accueil, les serveurs et barmans ainsi que les Lifeguards étaient tous très sympathiques. La chambre était spacieuse et climatisée. La piscine sur le toit avec la vue était aussi géniale. L'emplacement de l'hôtel en général est top car on est à deux pas d'Arenzano et une vingtaine de minutes en voiture de Gênes.

Le restaurant n'était pas au niveau du reste de l'hôtel. Trop petites portions et peu de goût.

Superb location. Although the decor is outdated it is a lovely hotel for what you pay!!! Views exceptional. Swimming pool superb. Lifeguard Jakob was amazing. He paid attention to detail. Made the swimming pool experience fantastic. Lots of little extras - we ordered drinks and received a plate of free snacks. Rooms spacious, staff went the extra mile. Great water pressure. WiFi isn’t too great. Location is amazing!! We have stayed in a number of hotels along the riviera - this hotel was our highlight!

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Traumhafte Lage,, sehr ruhig aber auch sehr abseits. Zum Essen holen oder gehen, benötigt man ein Auto. Personal sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war lecker, für jeden was dabei.h

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick , super Ausblick. Strand war noch nicht fertig gerichtet, das war schade. Frühstück war perfekt.

Strand war noch nicht fertig, war aber auch noch Vorsaison. Pool konnte man auch nicht nutze, da er noch nicht fertig gerichtet war. Wasser war noch keines drin. Schade.

Sehr gutes kontinentales Frühstück mit frischen Obst. Top Lage direkt über dem Meer mit fabelhaften Ausblick. Sehr freundliches Personal. Pool mit sehr vielen Liegeplätzen im Schatten. Kleiner aber feiner Strand am Meer über Schrägauftug erreichbar.

Nicht behindertengerecht,.zu viele Treppen. Lift ist vorhanden wenn auch sehr langsam. € 55,- pro Tag für einen Sonnenschirm und zwei Liegen ist nicht gerechtfertigt

Nada. Todo fue perfecto. Desde la recepcion hasta la habitacion, comida, lazer, vista, precio , todo pertfecto.

Das Frühstück ist als Buffet verfügbar. Von Kaffee, Tee, Müsli, Brot, Obst und Croissants ist alles vorhanden. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, sehr ruhig gelegen (mit offenem Fenster schlafen ohne Probleme). Tolles Blick von Pool, Restaurant über die Bucht und Meer

Staff gentilissimo ha accolto ogni nostra richiesta, pulizia e hotel molto bello! Posizione stupenda in pineta ma collegato benissimo alla spiaggia e al centro con la funicolare o un percorso naturalistico di circa 10 minuti (nulla di faticoso)

Le tende non oscuravano a sufficienza la stanza e la mattina entrava la luce, se avete il sonno leggero portatevi la mascherina per dormire. La spiaggia dell'hotel è prenotabile al costo di 55€ al giorno, secondo me un pò cara

Категорически не пондравилась плата , за выход на пляж из отеля стоимостью 50 евро на человека.

Ich war zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr groß und modern. Vor allem der Meerblick ist grandios. Das Personal ist nett. Schöner Pool. Gutes Frühstück.

Sauber , personal sehr nett

Der Sonnenschirm mit zwei Liegen kostet 55 € pro Tag. Ohne Reservierung und Bezahlung dürfen die Liegen nicht genutzt werden, obwohl nur wenig Betrieb war. Das fand ich enttäuschend und wenig kundenfreundlich.
