If you're specifically looking for a party hostel and not care about the budget, this place might suit you.

We chose this hostel hoping for a welcoming, social atmosphere where it would be easy to meet people, but instead almost everything revolved around partying and heavy drinking. Rather than creating a great guest experience, the hostel constantly felt like it was trying to upsell guests. Food, tours, laundry, and even simple activities were overpriced. It was especially disappointing that games like the pub quiz rewarded people for buying expensive shots, making it feel more like a sales tactic than a fun social event. There was also no comfortable common area to relax, read, or chat during the day—just the bar and restaurant, which made the hostel feel loud and uninviting most of the time. Overall, the atmosphere felt commercial rather than community-oriented, so we never really felt comfortable during our stay.

The sound of the AC to loud. So I can’t sleep peacefully. My suggestion is to check the AC before let the guest check in .

Situated in the city centre of Phnom Penh, around 20 minutes from most museums and attractions. If what you like is a social hostel, then this is the hostel for you! They have every day events and the staff is super friendly.

Aircon in rooms was great

Staff was pushy about events but then also canceled our tour

I booked a private room expecting a clean and comfortable stay, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The room did not feel properly cleaned, and I discovered bed bugs in the bed, which was extremely unpleasant. For a private room, basic cleanliness and hygiene should be guaranteed. This issue had a major impact on my stay and left me very disappointed.

Couldnt bring your own food into the room, which was a slight hinderance, but would affect long seat travellers possibly more than it did us

We booked a double room. It was small but comfortable. Up 3 flights of stairs. Excellent spot for excursions and onward travel. Staff very clued up. Large bar area with night entertainment.

Hmmm. We booked a private room thinking we would get a decent night's sleep. Wrong. On two nights we were woken by other guests arriving back in the early hours and talking and calling friends in the large communal area on the floor. There is a settee placed there to facilitate this and the addled perpetrators are oblivious to any pleas to be quiet! Ironically, you would likely get a better sleep in the dorms, where behaviour is more likely to be policed. Maybe this is just a "party central" hostel. Certainly that is the vibe their Emails promote.

The latter to the upper bed was really scary

I joined the S21 and Killing Fields tour today. Our tour guide, Sola, was very helpful and informative. She gave us enough time to explore and arranged the transportation perfectly. She answered all our questions with a big smile. It was a great experience overall. The staff also encouraged us to join other activities to discover local cuisine and better understand the culture.

Overall, the experience was very good. There was nothing specific I didn’t like, and everything was well organized and met my expectations.

Excelente hostel si deseas conocer gente e incluso puedes conseguir tener privacidad si asi deseas. Las camas en habitaciones compartidas tienen cortinas y son amplias. Todo aseado diariamente. Aire acondicionado disponible. Salas comunes y desayuno disponible por buen precio. Muy bien ubicado.

Lits assez durs et pas pratiques quand on dort en haut, pas de sèche cheveux ds la salle de bain, clim trop forte la nuit

very friendly and welcoming staff who were great throughout the visit, entertaining and talking to us every day! room was very clean, shower pressure was top class and the bed was so comfy. AC worked a treat which was so needed in the hot weather. it had a restaurant/bar open all day which was good and the prices weren’t bad either. there was a bit of a party the 2 nights we were there- we joined in the first night which was class then the second night stayed in the room for a while then went down. music wasnt disruptive at all the second night and was off at 11.30pm. overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable Privacy bunks.

Privacy curtain section was missing, the co-working area was restricted and unable to use it until after 6pm. Mosquitos.

Had a water leak in the room the minute we arrived. After complaining we were told to ‘put a towel down’ under the air con that was still leaking. We are still waiting for a refund despite numerous follow up emails

Rien. Même l’emplacement est nazzzzzze 👎 Parfait si tu t’endors partout, peu importe les conditions. Perso, je suis un peu fragile de ce point de vue.

Malheureusement me concernant le personnel a été très désagréable. Me gratifiant de leurs regards les plus méprisants. Pas prêts à aider pour un sou. Le genre de chose qui ne m’est arrivé que rarement en quatre mois de voyage à travers plusieurs pays. La chambre était horrible. Le lit faisait un bruit d’enfer en plus d’être très inconfortable. Dur d’ailleurs d’être à l’étage car accès peu pratique. Officiellement une de mes pires nuits.

The property was in a good location and the bathroom was clean

There was some random dude sleeping in my bunk the first night when i arrived which was frustrating. also the music in the common area was super loud but there wasn’t much of a vibe or organized activities. the beds were hard.

The location of the hostel is very good! I also like that there are welcome drinks and events that are being organized. The reception staff is friendly and helpful.

Terrible stay! My friend stayed in a female dorm and I stayed in a private room. The female dorm bathroom was covered in puke and my friend had to clean up another persons vomit in the room. My own room was initially okay, but I was shocked when a random guest entered my room. It turns out that either his key worked for my room, or my room lock was broken. I was naked in my room when he walked in, When I asked help from the cleaning staff, they started screaming and insulting me. I felt quite hopeless. Even when I went to the reception, initially they did not believe me. They told me that they would send someone to check and repair my door. Once it finally happened, they offered me a "cocktail" as compensation. I was shocked. After discussing this horrible situation with the manager, he offered a 1 night compensation which would be refunded within 2 weeks. It is already many months later now and I haven't received any compensation from the hostel. They refer me to booking.com, and booking.com told me that they never received a reply from Hostel management. And in the meanwhile I am still waiting. It is just unbelievable and unacceptable that a random hostel guest can enter my private room (which was locked) with all my personal belongings (camera, laptop) inside, and that I am treated like this. And another remark: I booked an excursion with the hostel and it turns out that it was much more expensive than other options (Getyourguide, tripadvisor). I even read some negative news about this hostel online in the news.

Friendly Staff Clean rooms and bathrooms Good Location

Loved the rooms, there are quiet people here. Was astonishing.

Some people talk louder, leave the lights on, but i won't say anything. Just for the staff, they should REMIND people to close their doors quietly at all times, and keep their voices lower. A very good way to guide people,

Hostel has everything you need. The hostel does all the tours you would want in Phnom Penh and you can book all your transport through them. We did the s-21 and killing fields tour with Sola and she was amazing! So friendly and informative, we had such a great experience with her :)

Wir waren im Februar in Phnom Penh. Die Lage ist wunderbar, man ist in kurzer Distanz zu Fuß in der Stadt. Sauberkeit einwandfrei. Es ist ein Party Hostel, denn zu Folge finden sich dort viele junge Leute, laute Musik und gute Stimmung, wen das nicht stört, der ist da gut aufgehoben. Es gibt einen Plan für tägliche Aktivitäten wo man leicht mit anderen ins Gespräch kommt. Wir sind Mitte 40, also definitiv älter als der Durchschnittsgast, was aber überhaupt nicht stört. Alle waren total nett und freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einziges Manko für uns war der fehlende Wasserkocher weil wir gerne nach dem Aufstehen Kaffee trinken. Uns wurde erklärt dass es ein Hostel sei und das nicht üblich ist. Das stimmt so nicht, wir übernachten oft in Hostels, Guesthouses usw und eigentlich ist das bisher überall vorhanden war.

The upper bed was ridiculously high, and it also squeaked every single time I moved. The ladder was not comfortable and made it very difficult for me to get off. It was also so loud and I could hear everything, the music did not stop until 0:00. Not very good value for money cuz it’s pretty expensive. The hotel tours were very expensive.

The dorm was big enough, the bathroom as well. Bed was comfortable. Location convenient. The music stops before midnight. Staff mostly friendly.

Food was a bit expensive compared to nearby restaurants, especially for breakfast. Social area could be rearranged a bit to facilitate connecting between solo travelers.

Everything was perfect!

Only the person staying next under my bed was moving all the time. Haha!!

We felt completely comfortable during our stay. The staff gave us a very warm welcome, and it was easy to connect with other people right away. A big shoutout to Vutha, who was always there for us. We had a lot of fun with him, whether it was during the pub crawl or the beer olympics. He really made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel was good on a budget.

There is no lift.
