到着後、ホテル側の都合で突然追い出されることになりました。 人生でなかなか経験できないことを体験できました。 このホテルでは、事前にお願いしていた内容について、予約前のやり取りでホテル側から了承をいただいていました。しかし、到着後になって突然態度を変え、十分な説明もないまま宿泊を拒否され、ホテルから閉め出されました。 さらに、ホテル側の都合で宿泊できなくなったにもかかわらず、支払った費用の返金についても、当初は一切対応していただけませんでした。 その後、フランス語を話すオーナーの知人と思われる体格の大きな男性が呼ばれ、私たちの予約代表者に対して暴力を振るうという事態にまで発展しました。最終的には警察を呼び、なんとかキャンセルの手続きまで進めることができました。 フランス語を話すオーナーの女性と男性は、非常に態度が悪く、少しでも自分たちの思い通りにならないと、宿泊予定者を追い出すような対応をされました。 今回は16人という大人数での宿泊だったため、突然宿泊を拒否され、返金についても対応してもらえない状況に置かれた私たちの立場を、もう少し考えていただきたかったです。 もちろん、すべての宿泊者に同じような対応をしているとは限らず、気に入った宿泊者には親切に対応されているのかもしれません。しかし、今回の対応を見る限り、Booking.comなどの大手予約サイトに掲載されている宿泊施設として適切な対応・態度だったとは到底思えません。 まして、どのような理由があったとしても、宿泊者に対して暴力を振るうことは決して許されることではありません。 他のレビューも確認しましたが、宿泊者を突然追い出されたという趣旨の投稿が複数見受けられました。 私はこれまで10年以上にわたって世界各国を訪れていますが、今回のように宿泊先で暴力沙汰にまで発展したのは初めての経験です。 今回の一連の対応には、本当に残念な気持ちしかありません。

Le charme de l’établissement

Very quiet and spacious. Room was clean and tidy.

El perro era muy grande y me ladraba cada que estaba en la puerta, me daba mucho miedo.

La rue est calme

L’accueil de la tenancière est glacial et particulier, une chambre avec le minimum, le ménage n’est jamais fait en 3 nuits, l’emplacement pas terrible et surtout on vous coupe la clim le matin pour faire des économies !

Auberge confortable et propre, la propriétaire et la dame qui travaille ici sont très sympathiques , et le quartier est calme tout en étant proche du centre .

Decent place for one night stay

The room was okay, the owners wasn't very nice and the location was okay

I was having a meeting in the common area at 9pm. when the owner came over yelling at me, telling me to speak more quietly because she was sleeping. I completely understand the reason, but the way she approached me was very rude. Also, the bathroom didn’t even have soap, which I think is a basic amenity. They don’t provide anything, not even drinking water. I think you can find better value for money elsewhere.

The staff is so disrespectful to the customer. They don't let me check in as I request. I ended up not staying at this place

Gute Lage

Nicht sicher, ob alles gewaschen worden ist - es hatte ein Haar auf dem Kopfkissen. Wände wirkten dreckig.

L’emplacement est bien pour visiter la ville. L’hôtel est confortable. Et la propriétaire Katy, qui parle français, est très sympathique et ultra intéressante de par ses expériences et son histoire. Elle n’a pas la langue dans sa poche, ça fait du bien de parler vraie avec elle, merci !

Il y a une boîte de nuit juste en face, du coup c’est très bruyant le soir jusqu’à tard dans la nuit.

The atmosphere is really familiar. There is an outdoor common area where you can stay! The room has enough space and it was clean. The owner is a nice and funny person!

personnel moyen, si vous devez laisser votre sac après le check out à vos risques et périls, il sera posé sur une table, à la vue de tous y compris les gens dans la rue et je peux vous assurer que n’importe qui peut entrer dans l’établissement sans soucis. Si vous vous réveillez au matin en ayant chaud c’est normal, la clim est activé de 19:00 a 7:00 du matin, la télécommande est récupéré à 7:00.. Endroit moyennement propre avec de nombreux chats, j’aime les animaux mais les odeurs d’urines ne sont pas très rassurantes

The best thing about it is the staff—they’re all very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The outdoor area is lovely, with tables and a pool where you can relax. The rooms are also very comfortable and clean. You can order breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the value for money is very good, considering the prices in Phnom Penh. Also the location was ok for me, in few minutes you have a really nice street with restaurant, coffee places. And you can arrive to the main points to visit by walking, as well.

I had a few issues with some people in the large dormitory, but that’s not the hotel’s fault—it’s down to the guests, who can sometimes be inconsiderate of others. I spent my last night in the 4-bed dormitory, and everything was perfect.

Staff friendly, really good value for money

The only nice thing is the dog. A rude and unhappy woman has turned a dilapidated house into a guesthouse.

When I went to check into the hotel, there was an elderly woman at the reception. She was incredibly rude. When I tried to open my visa on my phone, she kept yelling at me and wanted to see my visa. Because she was old, I didn't pay much attention, but even after a few days, her behavior didn't change. She was constantly yelling at everyone, pacing around, and being rude to guests. When I went into the kitchen just to get some water, she started yelling at me again. The cleaning lady gently pushed me out (I had permission to enter and they couldn't touch me). Later, while sitting in the garden, she said she would charge me $4 if I didn't turn off the fan??? They also have a dog, and when I tried to pet it, she said it would bite. The dog was very innocent and sweet, not the biting kind; it looked very unhappy. There are many cats; they feed them but never take care of them. The whole place smells of cat feces, and these cats even get into the rooms and beds. And finally, in the evenings, they turn on the air conditioner and hide the remote. I was cold all night and couldn't keep the air conditioner on my desired setting. Definitely don't stay here just because it's cheap. They treated me as if I were staying for free at a place I paid for. I doubt the sweet, hospitable woman mentioned in the reviews was actually there.

La propiedad tiene limitado el aire acondicionado y lo paran toda la mañana y hasta las 18:00h que es cuando el calor aprieta más.

A few weeks ago I booked two nights here, we checked in late (approx 11pm) so picked up the room key from the front desk. When we picked up the key from reception there was a large dog who growled at us but stayed put. After checking into our room I realised there was no WiFi code in the room so went back down to reception to get it. When I tried to find the code the dog started growling again, but this time moved towards me and tried to bite me. They would have bitten me had I not realised what was happening and quickly moved away and back up to the room. In the morning we could hear the dog barking aggressively, we didn't feel comfortable or safe around the dog so decided to cut our stay short and move to a different hotel. We told the host about it and she did apologise but I don't think an aggressive dog should be allowed to roam freely, and if the dog isn't good with strangers they shouldn't be at a hotel where strangers come and go daily. Looking at others reviews this is not an isolated incident.

Check out at 10:30 without prior inform at shouting when I checking out at 11, can’t feel any welcoming while mine stayed

Good location and good value for money

There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and there’s a dog in the house that sometimes roams around the common areas. I love dogs, but this particular one barked at me every time it saw me and tried to bite me twice on the last day, so I didn’t feel safe going in and out of the hostel

Kathy ist sehr freundlich und hilft gerne. Das Zimmer war gut und die Betten bequem. Die Lage ist zentral. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss oder mit dem Tuktuk erreichen.

Es hatte keine Lampe beim Bett. Die Klimaanlage wurde tagsüber abgeschaltet. Das ist an sich ja okay, aber sie wurde jeweils um 5.00 Uhr am Morgen ausgeschaltet und die Person, die dafür ins Zimmer kam, war nicht gerade leise.

Attractive building in a great location for city centre access

No fridge in room and bedroom windows closed off with metal bars, no escape option there in case of fire.

Location was ideal, price good, lots of cute cattos and a dog 😍

My own error, but with dorm beds and friendly reviews, I had thought it might be more social. Outside of check in, no one spoke to me. And the mosquitos are bad in Phnom Penh - a plug in zapper in the room overnight would make a world of difference.

this is my second visit, i like the owners vibe, the cats and dog that live there, and the friendliness of other usually solo, travelers. it is basic, clean, safe, secure, friendly, comfortable, and i like it. It has secure parking, which is great for me, as i was on my bike.

this was my 2nd visit so i knew what to expect, nothing disappointed me.

On se sent rapidement chez soi à la villa de Cathy. Chambre familiale commode, avec balcon. Cour agréable, ombragée. Très bons conseils de Cathy.

Disponibilité de l'hôte. Grande chambre et bon petit déjeuner. Emplacement non loin du centre et proche de nombreux restaurants. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Un peu de bruit dans la rue en soirée.

Merci à Katy et Christian pour leur accueil à la Villa Papillon ! Merci pour ces histoires, et ces repas partagés. J'ai d'abord fait un séjour de 3 nuits et j'y suis revenue avant mon départ. Le dortoir est impeccable. On s'y sent comme à la maison! Venez les yeux fermés !

Everyone was super friendly, the dorm was comfy, the cats are very sweet, the other customers I met were very friendly and the place has a very laid back and traveller vibe. The shower was good.

The coffee

L’ambiance du lieux, le personnel souriant et surtout Katy et un petit sourire à Victoire, une des volontaires qui aide l’hôte. Pour des français ce lieux est très bien

バスで朝早くに到着した為、明るくなるまで共有スペースで過ごさせてもらいました。朝ごはんの提供時間前にも関わらず、4ドルでフレンチトースト、オムレツ、フルーツとお茶を作ってくれました。また、チェックイン前でしたが、洗面台を貸してくれて歯磨きと洗顔ができて嬉しかったです。 夜はオーナー家族と一緒の卓で夕飯を食べました。私が買ってきたサラダだけを食べているのを見て、作っていたパスタを分けてくれました。お腹は空いていなかったのですが、その心遣いに感謝していただきました。優しい味でした。豚のスナック菓子？もいる？と１つくれました。オーナーさんの旦那さんの方はフランス人っぽくて、家族やスタッフ？のみなさんフランス語を話している感じでした。旦那さんが赤ワインどう？とすすめてくれましたが、酔ってしまう為、お気持ちだけいただきました。 犬が1匹と、猫が何匹かいます。基本的に外にいるのみで、部屋内に入って来ないのでアレルギー持ちでも大丈夫でした。 肝心の部屋についてですが、2段ベットの高さが結構あり、160センチない私としては登り降りが大変でした。そして天上が近い。部屋内にトイレ、シャワールームが１つと、外にもいくつかありました。不便はなかったです。 現地支払いとのことでしたが、現地に行くとbooking.com上でカード決済を勧められました。 全体的にいい滞在でした。

Merci pour ce bel accueil, je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Les lits sont confortables et l'espace de vie est très convivial. J'ai partagé des chouettes moments avec Katy, Christian et Victoire, notamment une soirée pizza très sympa. Si vous cherchez un lieu avec une âme et une bonne ambiance, foncez! A très vite, signé la Cantalou!

Accueil exceptionnel de Katy, la propriétaire des lieux qui nous a fait sentir comme chez nous dès le premier jour. Avec sa jovialité et ses nombreuses anecdotes, nous avons découvert le Cambodge d'une autre façon. L'emplacement de Villa Papillon est parfait et nous a permis de sillonner la ville à pied la plupart du temps. Merci à Katy pour tes précieux conseils et ta bonne humeur 😍😍

Le personnel est très agréable, souriant et proposent des bons plans ! Cela crée une très bonne ambiance. Localisation centrale, si on aime marcher tout peut se faire à pied. Un contact de la gérante propose des trajets en bus pour continuer le voyage, très pratique car il vient nous chercher directement à l'auberge.

The only thing is that there is a night club right in front of the hostel, so there’s loud music until late at night, but with earplugs everything was fine :)

Es war leider nicht sauber und alles ist ziemlich in die Tage gekommen. In unserem Zimmer waren sehr viele Mücken- aber leider keine Moskitonetze. Es gab nur kuschelige Synthetikdecken, aber keinen Bezug oder Laken für diese. Kathi sagte uns, dass wir obwohl wir das Familienzimmer für 3 gebucht hatten, nur ein Anrecht auf zwei Frühstücke hätten

L'accueil exceptionnel de Katy, ses histoires, ses conseils, son franc parler... on se sent bien dans cet hôtel, la convivialité étant toujours présente. Les chambres sont propres et bien tenues, la literie très confortable. Et Katy parle français, point important pour nous. Un super premier contact avec le Cambodge, nous reviendrons.

De ne pouvoir rester plus longtemps

Die Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit, gibt gerne Tipps, was man unternehmen kann, und hilft beim Buchen eines Busses. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, und im Hostel gibt es viele Tiere..

Die Lage ist zwar nicht super zentral, aber die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt lassen sich trotzdem gut erreichen

El hostal tiene buena ubicación. El personal es inigualable, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que necesites. Las instalaciones estaban limpias. Muy recomendable!

Location was OK.

One staff member walks with a permanant scowl on her face and is quite rude. The area is noisy with animals. Staff should control the ac and not the guests, as one guest kept turning it really too cold and stopped me sleeping, as my bed was next to the unit . They give you a thin blanket only , so I slept in my coat

Tout est super, les hôtes sont au top. Après une mauvaise expérience nous avions bien besoin de rencontrer Cathy pour nous remonter le moral. Nous avions une grande chambre avec une immense terrasse sous les arbres, très agréable ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

Un peu bruyant la nuit comme partout dans les grandes villes
