Obviously got bad luck this time but my room was full of cockroaches throughout my stay which I haven’t had before.

The room is not comfortable. The toilet is in the middle of each room and it smells really bad every time people use it and the sound of it specially in the night is just bad! The shower heater is out of reach so no way to access the temperature, no Shampoo or body wash provided considering the price. No water refill as well! The dorm is not worth the price for me but I had to book because it was new year and most good hostels were already fully booked :(

*IT'S NOT THE HOSTEL'S FAULT* I dunno what's wrong with this place (place is good), but the people in the room were weird as f..... Everyone just slammed the door 24 hours randomly like cavemens , in the morning, at night, lmao, I was shocked.... And their behavior mostly was like "I'm alone in the room, don't care about anyone else", so disgusting. PLEASE, I kindly ask EVERYONE to watch your behavior (and hygiene!) and respect the people around you if you are choosing the dorm room (don't watch f** stupid videos with sound at night, don't talk on the phone - There's a COMMON AREA, where nobody sleeps and you can talk...) I spent there 2 nights, on the second some people changed, but their behavior was the same..... So I decided to change the hostel, thankfully, there are people with manners..

The food is good and cheap. One of the best backpackers hostels in a great location! Would stay here again! 10/10
There were not as many backpackers staying to interact with so could feel a bit quiet unless you are looking for a more relaxed place

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal, toller Pool und schöner Restaurant-/Aufenthaltsbereich. Zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig, neben an ist dir bassac Lane, Bars, Restaurant, Stimmung. Auch zum Royal Palace nicht weit. Personal sehr unaufdringlich, aber bei Fragen hilfsbereit.
Klingt an vielen Stellen eher streng, überall hängen Regeln und Verbote, eingehalten wird es aber eher nicht.

Pas de lumière naturelle dans la chambre. Couloir un peu bruyant quand d’autres personnes entrent dans leurs chambres (appels d’air).
