The breakfast was the only positive aspect of my stay.

The hotel is very old and outdated, especially the bathroom, which was extremely small and in need of renovation. One of the biggest problems was the poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear noises from the neighboring rooms, even the sound of their toilet flushing, which was very disturbing. Considering the price I paid, the quality of the facilities and services was far below what I expected. The hotel was far too expensive for the standard and condition it offered. In my opinion, this property does not meet the standards of a four-star hotel.

Everything was just perfect! There is everything you could wish for! The cleaning was daily! All the stuff was very polite and supportive. They assisted in arranging a taxi to the airport. The room and the bathroom were large enough. The beds were very comfortable. The lication is good and near the historical centre. The restaurant and breakfast were very good and there was absolutely everything you could ask for!

Just a little request - maybe it would be good if there was a fridge in the apartment!

Chambre spacieuse, nous étions 2 avec 1 enfant de 3 ans et c'était parfait. La literie est très confortable. Le personnel à l'accueil a été très gentil et très bien.

Le seul point négatif était au petit déjeuner (nous somme restés 1 semaine) le manque de jus de fruit machine en panne et jus d'orange à payer en plus.

Es war ein angenehmer und entspannter Aufenthalt, Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Die Lage war ganz ok. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen. Wir hatten keinen Platz mehr da der Raum sehr voll war.

Da mein Mann und ich immer auch in den Ferien einzelne Zimmer buchen hatten wir auf unterschiedliche Etagen unsere Zimmer und nicht nebeneinander wie ich es gebucht hatte. Zudem hatte ich ein kleines Zimmer das eher wie eine Notlösung aussah. Mein Mann hingegen ein Zimmer mit Balkon wie ich es auch gebucht habe.

Algunas desinteligencias con el personal. Tuvimos que reclamar 3 veces por el minibar que no enfriaba y nos seguían diciendo que estaba funcionando bien. Hasta que lo cambiaron y solucionaron.

El personal de recepción muy desagradable, sobre todo Nadia. Me trató mal, me obligó a pagar un sobrecargo. La habitación horrible, la ducha rota, la máquina de aire acondicionado hace un ruido insoportable que no te deja dormir. Hay muchos hoteles en esta zona, no vayan al Mercure.

The hotel was excellent and in a great location. The breakfast was good as well. However, the best thing about this hotel is its staff. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Special thanks to all of them, including the reception team, the bar staff, the breakfast staff, and the housekeeping team who kept the rooms spotless. Their professionalism and friendliness made our stay truly enjoyable.

The room was very clean, but I noticed that the bed sheets had a very unusual smell, similar to dirty socks. It is possible that this was caused by a detergent or fabric softener with a lingering odor, but whenever you lay down in bed, the smell created the impression that you were surrounded by dirty socks. Although the bedding appeared clean, the odor was quite unpleasant and affected the overall comfort of the stay.

Toutes les chambre ne comprennent pas de baignoire La taille des chambre sœur différencier, la première fois nous avions eu une grande chambre (au premier étage) celle du 8 eme l’était moins, mais cela reste un détail.

I was not particularly satisfied with my stay, especially considering the price, as the hotel is quite run-down and, in my opinion, very overpriced. The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, we requested an iron, which didn’t even work. The internet connection is extremely poor, to the point where it is practically impossible to use it properly or do anything that requires a stable connection. Overall, the hotel has a great location and friendly staff, but the condition of the property, the facilities, and the quality of the internet are not up to the standard you would expect for the price.

Mercure was a great choice for me at the end of my time in Sicily. And they even gave me an upgrade!

It was odd that the hotel had a dual location and I needed to be escorted to the other property. It wasnt bad. The location was just down the street and was quiet. No complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel Palermo Centro. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Palermo, and everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. A special mention has to go to Giuseppe behind the bar and the gentleman who served at breakfast. He They were both incredibly friendly, kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for gussipe and his warm and welcoming attitude really made a difference. In fact, he was one of the highlights of our whole stay and is a real credit to the hotel. There were a couple of less positive points. Unfortunately, on a few occasions some of the female bar staff came across as rather rude and unwelcoming, particularly when we asked for a glass of ice, which was disappointing given how hot it was. A little more warmth and friendliness would have made a big difference. The safe in our room also stopped working a few times, although this was dealt with and fixed by the hotel. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend the Mercure Hotel Palermo Centro, particularly because of its location, cleanliness, breakfast and the fantastic service from Giuseppe and the breakfast waiter. Their kindness and helpfulness really stood out.

Drugi pobyt w tym hotelu spełnił wszystkie oczekiwania. W porównaniu do dwóch lat wstecz: korzystna zmiana w organizacji śniadań, lepiej ustawiony bufet i - co najważniejsze - lepszy wybór, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Włoch swoje słodkie śniadanie, Anglik - swój bekon i fasolkę, Polak - jajko, szynkę, salami, sałatę, zbliżone do polskiego pieczywo. Kawa z kolby - rewelacyjna, obsługa - na wysokim poziomie, uprzejma, pomocna, bardzo naturalnie uśmiechnięta. Pokoje w części "Rezydencja" moim zdaniem lepsze niż w budynku głównym, bo są po prostu nowsze. Również klimatyzacja w Rezydencji działa rewelacyjnie. W nocy cicho i przytulnie. Komunikacja z resztą miasta i plażą w Mondello - bardzo dobra. Ogólnie miejsce ponownie warte polecenia.

Jedyna winda w Rezydencji jeździ koszmarnie wolno, a po całym dniu w upale - wysokie kondygnacje w tym budynku nie zachęcają do spaceru po schodach.

The only downside was the reception service. Unfortunately, the front desk staff did not seem very knowledgeable and could have been more customer-focused and helpful. Better training in customer service would significantly improve the overall experience.

The location was great and the hotel is nice and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean.

The staff at the reception desk looked overwhelmed by the number of tourists and tired most of the times. One of them was actually rather rude. They did stand out as most of the Sicilians are so friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was very clean, with modern and spacious rooms. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city center. The room was perfect for our family, and we really appreciated the staff who kindly upgraded our room for free. Thank you for the great hospitality and making our stay even more enjoyable. Hotel godny polecenia. W odległości paru kroków do zwiedzania centrum Palermo. Pokój dostaliśmy wcześniej niż wynikało z ustalonej godziny check-in. Śniadania kontynentalne, z dużym wyborem. Na tej samej ulicy znajduje się kilka wypożyczalni samochodów. W odległości 10 min spacerem przystanek na lotnisko.

We stayed at Hotel Mercure Palermo for 7 nights. Altogether, especially during the first part of the stay was very pleasant for us. We were met by nice receptionists, who made sure to make us feel welcome. The location of the hotel is very practical, nice and calm area with some good restaurants, easy access to the rest of the city. Nice linens on the bed, and a room which was well equipped. We also got help with some malfunctioning room keys.

We started noticing that during the daily cleanings some of our things were moved into unreasonable places - for example a makeup bag into the bidet, which is quite unsanitary. The same cleaning lady cleaned our room during the whole stay. When we arrived back to the room on the last evening, we noticed that an expensive perfume (ca. 160€) was gone from the room, not removed or misplaced by us. We immediately reported this to the reception, and they asked the cleaning lady who stated she did not know anything. Then a lady from the reception even came up to the room and checked around, also under the bed. The perfume was not to be found. They told us that the next day they would take up the case again, with a higher up. When the next day came, during check out, they did not advance the case, it only got taken up again when we reported it again (they again asked the same cleaning personnel who denied knowing anything). Then we got told that we had to file a police report, and given that it was the last day we unfortunately did not have time to do so. After arriving to the airport, we got a call, that the perfume bottle was found by the very same cleaning lady under the bed. (Where multiple people checked the day before...) Then we got offered for it to be sent by taxi to the airport, which we would have had to pay for, we refused this due to the high cost. Then we got offered a parcel service, which we had to pay as well, 58€. The parcel service provider was trustworthy and quick. All in all it is good that it was found, but we

La colazione era molta buona, ricca e abbondante. Lo staff tutto è stato gentilissimo, disponibile e cordiale. La camera era confortevole e pulita. Il letto era molto comodo. Posizione centralissima, a due passi dal Politeama e dagli altri monumenti. Di sicuro sappiamo dove andare la prossima volta che capitiamo a Palermo.

Il garage è impraticabile per una macchina bassa. La mia è rimasta incastrata in discesa ed è stato difficoltoso liberarla. La rampa ha una pendenza non a norma.

La colazione non offre granché, alcuni receptionist sono frettolosi e rispondono in maniera velatamente scortese (molto spesso mi sono sentito osservato), la stanza in cui soggiornavo aveva problemi di elettricità (spesso al buio e con carta magnetica non funzionante e dovevo sempre chiamare la reception per farmi aprire la stanza).

Very good location close to the city centre (Teatro Massimo). Room was nice, we got it on the 8th floor so had a fantastic view over Plaremo buidlings ... Room was clean, beds comfortable, air condition working, bathroom also clean, no problem with the pressure ... Breakfast standard, acceptable for 2 nights stay.

Parking a little bit expansive (30EUR/night), furniture and bathroom are used but still ok.
