Essen war mit der Zeit etwas eintönig. Kaum eigene Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Es musste sehr oft weiter weg parkiert werden. Dies war zwar gratis, jedoch nicht komfortabel.

Great place to stay at, great staff, right on the beach but also calm enough. Great view, good room, balcony. I love Portimao, i stayed there before for months so I know the city pretty well. The great staff made the stay worth it.

The only thing that was bothering me was the constant sound of the elevator and sounds from the inside of the hotel - they were heard inside of my room more than I would like to. I'm generally somebody sensitive to sounds so I do have headphones for sleeping.

Pillows were awful. Be careful the water gets really too hot very easily -pipe was so hot I burned my arm on it I shower. No wash cloth or conditioner.

Me and my partner had the best stay, the location was perfect. We could walk straight from the pool area to the beach, and there were lots of fabulous restaurants nearby. The view from our room was stunning, especially at sunset. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety of choices, and the staff were extremely helpful with everything.

Overall, staff are so friendly and professional! They were really helpful along the way of our trip. The location of the hotel is also perfect if you intend on spending your time at the beach! Breakfast provided in the hotel was decent.

I think the hotel does have a lot of positives but it could do with a bit more refinement to align to its 4 star rating. Perhaps the cleaning product used by housekeeping could be better because it leaves a very dusty/ odd smell in the room after housekeeping but this is fixed by airing out the room. I also think the pool bar at lunch could be managed better and plating of food could be much better. The sandwiches we ordered looked very thrown together and looked unappealing as it was falling off the toothpick it was held up with. The quality could be improved by using fresher ingredients so that it’s stands to the pricing.

A única coisa que achámos menos bem foi o atendimento na piscina, demasiado demorado.

Tudo impecável, desde o atendimento à chegada quanto à experiência durante a estadia. Jantámos no hotel algumas noites, e fomos surpreendidos pela qualidade! Bem condicionado o acesso à praia, ótima localização. Para regressar certamente!

Had an issue one night at the outdoor restaurant where we waited 30 minutes to get waited on and then they said they were closed. We were there 30 min before closing and just wanted a tapas.

Bom PA mas deveria ter mais opções como por exemplo as panquecas que só servem á 2ªfeira. O Buffet estava bom e com qualidade.

mais variedade no pequeno almoço seria bem vindo , não serviam panquecas e o facto de não ter estacionamento é realmente um "handicap" remetem para um parque público bastante caro e afastado.

Kein Abendprogramm. Die Bedienungen im Essbereich teilweise unterbesetzt mein Eindruck wirkten gestresst. Orientalisches Essen hat mit dem Hotel nichts zu tun. 3 Zimmer Betten ok ein sehr harter schlafsofa nicht zu empfehlen

There was so much we liked about staying at the AP Oriental Beach in Portimão. The room was comfortable, spacy and provided all the amenities we required. Towels were changed daily (if required) and the room cleaned daily. The location of this hotel was fantastic. It is in a prime location with access to not only a beach, but also to the town and more. As it was 'Adult Friendly' my wife and I had a totally relaxing two weeks stay - just what we were seeking and needed. The hotel oriental/morrocan style decoration was relaxing and tranquil and there were many areas for us to sit down and take time out. We went for Breakfast and Dinner and this was also a good choice for us. The quality and choice of food was top rated. Options catered for everyone. We particularly loved the pool and pool area. A bar was close for any snacks or drinks throughout the day and all the staff (from Cleaners to Bar Staff and Reception) were polite, courtious and welcoming. Everyone seemed happy to help! On particular staff member that stood out for us was Carlos who worked in the Restaurant. He went above and beyond.

The only negative that we experienced was car parking. We hired a car and never got an opportunity to park it once in the available 4 spaces provided. Other guests parked and 'hogged' the spaces for days or longer. Fortunately, this did not put us off - it was a slight inconvenience but we were able to find car parking in the town close by in short walking distance.

Adorei a localização, o staff muito simpáticos em geral , os quartos e o hotel muito limpo , bom pequeno almoço, piscina boa e muito tranquilidade em redor , acesso a praia maravilhosa com bons bares na praia . Vida nocturna muito divertida na Praia da Rocha.

A minha pontuação foi 8 por estes motivos em falta : Hotel Antigo e algumas mobílias ja muito gastas e pouco gosto na decoração. O bar do hotel é muito pequeno mas é suficiente. O que não gostei foi estavamos a ver o mundial eu e mais hóspedes e fomos avisados que ia fechar o bar ... ok ... o problema não era fechar o bar , neste caso as bebidas , o pior é fomos convidados a sair porque tinham de fechar as portas do bar e ficamos sem ver o restante futebol, campeonato mundial... e não existe mais salas de estar para poder continuar ver o futebol ou mesmo se queremos estar a desfrutar a noite em convívio. Ver uma solução de fechar o bar mas não a sala de convívio, fomos convidados a ir pro quarto dormir porque não tínhamos o canal desporto no quarto . Estacionamento muito difícil mas nós já sabíamos dessa situação. Mas voltarei a ficar neste hotel 😊

Nous avons pas appréciés l'odeur de tabac et des égouts dans la chambre meme après avoir mis du parfum pendant tout le séjour.

A nossa receção foi calorosa e amigável. Os funcionários foram prestáveis, desde o transporte das malas até à explicação de todos os pormenores da nossa estadia. A decoração do hotel e o ambiente envolvente são muito bons. Os jardins, a piscina, as espreguiçadeiras estavam muito bem cuidados. O ambiente do restaurante era calmo, com música tocada ao piano, calma e relaxante, todas as manhãs. O pequeno-almoço e o jantar eram magníficos, com muita variedade. Serviços organizados e dedicados ao cliente. Sem confusão, sem filas e sem barulho.

The view and location were excellent. The vibe was very relaxed and welcoming. The room felt very private. The breakfast was fantastic! The pianist was great and so was the sparkling wine. :) My friend and I were REALlY impressed with 2 young men that worked in the hotel. I think they were called ‘Rudi ‘ and ‘Ricardo’ . Very polite, friendly and helpful young men. A real asset to the hotel. They were on an ‘apprenticeship’ I think. I hope they do well and go far in their careers. :) Joy & Emma !

Serviço do bar da piscina; enganos nos pedidos e a demora na entrega dos mesmos, não vou pôr em pontos negativos porque acredito que sejam situações pontuais e a melhorar, deixo aqui o meu agradecimento à Sra. Cláudia ao jovem Ricardo e ao Sr. Nelson que foram muito amáveis e prestáveis.

Wir sind in der Nacht angereist. Der Nachtportier hat uns Parkplätze gezeigt vor dem Hotel, dort könnten wir parken. Leider gilt dies nur bis sieben Uhr am Morgen. Hat uns 60 Euro gekostet.

No tiene parking

The room and bed were generously sized, including a huge dresser in the hallway. The temperature in the room was cool when we arrived, as they had turned on the AC prior, which I appreciate as a nice touch. The terrace had a good opening to a (side) view of the sea, which was unfortunately partially obstructed by the set-up of an upcoming beach festival. Most of the staff was pleasant and welcoming. The hotel has an interesting architecture, which was one of the first things I noticed when booking this hotel. The garden is nice and has a good view of the beach and ocean, but we didn't use it much as we prefer just going to the beach. There is also direct access to the Rocha beach from the garden through a dedicated staircase. The location is great as it is beach-front and also towards the end of the "main street", with a few good restaurants essentially across the street, but without it being loud at night. The beaches of Portimao are gorgeous, with very fine sand, shallow and clear water, dramatic rocks and interesting grottos to explore, as well as nice vantage points. We split our time between Praia da Rocha and Praia dos Tres Castelos, but there are more to explore if you have time.

The breakfast did not impress me. The food was fine, not a lot of variety from day to day, but OK. What really degraded the experience for me was the coffee. There were 2 self-serve coffee machines with several options each. I pressed on the cappuccino button, and a milky brown liquid with a burnt smell started flowing - hot chocolate, I thought; then in the end I noticed a bit of what looked more like coffee also pouring. So the result was a low-quality hot chocolate with a bit of low-quality coffee - as a result I stopped trying to have coffee at breakfast again. I saw there was a bar which had an espresso machine where I assume better drinks could be prepared, but it was never open for breakfast, so I couldn't enjoy a decent cappuccino with my breakfast. This was especially disappointing for me as I really like good coffee (and I think many of us do). I believe a 4 star hotel should provide better coffee options. On the bright side, there is a surf shop also selling very good specialty coffee close to the hotel. There was sometimes an unpleasant sewer smell in the bathroom. The terrace would have had a good (side) view of the sea, unfortunately the stage and tents that were getting set up for an upcoming festival on the beach right in front of the hotel were obstructing the view. I don't know if it would be reasonable to expect a warning about this when booking a room, so I would say it's not necessarily the fault of the hotel. But overall for this price I had higher expectations.

Het was in het rustigere gedeelte van Portimão, hierdoor kon je opzoek naar de drukte maar ook naar de rust. Het personeel was top, vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Ontbijt was redelijk en kamer zeker ook. Super fijne plek voor een solo vakantie!

Het is niet eind wereld voor mij, maar onthoud dat begin juni Afronation plaatsvind. De opbouw, het festival tot afbouw heeft impact op je zicht, de rust in de omgeving en je direct connectie met het strand.

Lokalita hotelu je skvělá, v klidné části promenády. Vybaveni hotelu a v pokoji nám vyhovovalo. Pokoj byl prostorný a větší balkon s lehátky a posezením byl super. Personál byl milý a velmi ochotný. Snídaně byla bohatá na výběr. Velmi jsme ocenili

Jediné ale velké minus hotelu bylo to, ze na pláži primo pred hotelem mnoho dnu staví obří festivalový park se dvěmi stagemi a velkým zázemím. Nejen ze pres nej neni vidět na more a porad se na to díváte ze hotelu ze vsech míst and navíc cely den i celou noc vas ruší pracovní rámus, protoze se na něm pracuje 24 hodin. Naštěstí jsme odjeli dříve než festival začal. Chteli jsme klidnou dovolenou bez deti a misto toho posloucháte celodenní ramus . Navic jsme na toto nebyli upozorněni ale cestou Bookingu ale cestou hotelu. Takze varuji.

Ese hotel esta algo apartado del "RunRun" del turismo. Así el ambiente esta mas tranquilo y agradable. Las habitaciones son muy amplias; armarios amplios, camas espaciosos, con TV y aire acondicionado, sofá y mesita. Una terraza suficiente amplio para sentarse y disfrutar el exterior (jardín y mar). Un jardín grande con tumbonas y piscina. El desayuno es espectacular; una gran oferta a productos para desayunar. Hay tres horas para tomarse el desayuno, tiempo suficiente después del descanso. También la cena esta muy bien preparado con amplios productos para tomar alimento. El desayuno y la cena son del tipo "autoservicio", e incluido en el precio de la habitación que se contrata. Esta uno a gusto en este hotel.

Es muy difícil de determinar este aspecto. El hotel mismo no tiene garaje, solo 5 a 7 plazas para aparcar. Pero se encuentra aparcamiento libre en los alrededores. Claro en épocas de verano puede ser insuficiente. Ah, una cosa que no lo veía bien. El ayuntamiento organiza un festival de música para 3 a 4 días (espacio junio-principios de julio), que sus preparaciones duran casi tres semanas, y otra semana de desmontaje. Esto quita a este hotel su espacio de playa con las tumbonas correspondientes. Esto daña la reputación de este hotel.

À nossa chegada super bem recebidos, parque de estacionamento privativo, os quartos são grandes muito limpos com vista maravilhosa para o mar, o hotel tem uma localização espetacular, lindíssimo por dentro, transporta-nos para o mundo árabe, a piscina uma maravilha com bar de apoio, o pequeno almoço então do melhor, uma delícia ao som do piano... soberbo do melhor por onde já passei!A repetir, seguramente!

Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Tolle Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Das Buffet war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt und bietet einen schönen Meerblick.

Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gibt leider nur wenige Parkplätze.
