We stayed as a family with two young kids, 4 yo and 16mo. Our stay was incredible because the staff were so accommodating and hospital. We were also given an upgrade and that changed everything!

If you haven’t been to Cambodia, please go, and if you do, please stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. It is beautifully appointed and in a great location, an easy walk or tuktuk ride away from the central area. The team there are friendly and welcoming and do their manager proud. We loved quiet times at the pool, tasty breakfasts on the cool balcony and the comfort of bar at night, where we watched the world go by. This hotel offers a nod to the city’s past in the classiest of ways, while offering all the mod cons one could expect. Stay there! It’s a must, in Siem Reap.

We absolutely loved our stay at FCC Angkor. ❤️ From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt so calm and beautiful, which was the perfect contrast to the busy streets of Siem Reap. The setting is gorgeous and it has such a lovely atmosphere it feels luxurious without feeling stuffy or overly formal. The staff were genuinely so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and our room was beautiful and really comfortable. We also loved being able to come back to the hotel after busy days exploring the temples and experiencing Cambodian life. Having somewhere peaceful and relaxing to return to made such a difference. We did so much while we were in Siem Reap, from exploring the temples to visiting local markets, seeing the stilt houses and fishing communities around Tonlé Sap, pub street and trying lots of Cambodian food, and FCC was the perfect base for everything. We also loved having the hotel as a peaceful place to relax in between exploring, especially in the heat of the day. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Siem Reap. Beautiful hotel, amazing location, wonderful staff and such a peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cambodia.

La decoración, perfectamente integrada en el ambiente, es maravillosa; el servicio atentisimo y siempre dispuesto a ayudar para organizar las visitas a Angkor o para cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Habitación cómodisima, con la piscina al lado. El bar es el lugar más especial del FCC, con cocteles, música en directo y camareros súper profesionales.

Por ponerle alguna pega, el desayuno podía ser un poco más completo pero está estupendo también.

FCC Angkor by Avani was a beautiful hotel with French Colonial architecture. Beautiful pool, shops, bar and restaurant. The staff were very professional and accommodating. The bed and pillows were the best I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Location required a Tuk Tuk to get around as it was about a 15-20 minute walk from town centre.

I had a good experience at the FCC Avani hotel. The room (colonial heritage room) was large and very clean. Beds were super comfortable and I slept very well. We got an upgrade to a superior category for one of our rooms and could do a late check out. Every wish we had was fulfilled. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast is not a buffet, you have to order. The quality of the food was good. I can recommend the hotel and would go there again.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay in: the architecture, the vibes, the service, the kindness of the personnel, the food, the drinks… it made my trip to Siem Reap lovely and relaxing, as it was good to go back to the hotel and relax after long visits , long walks… the Pool area, the Gym, the bar are amazing, in addition the Mansion restaurant is exceptional!

Beautiful property on the river within walking distance of the markets and Pub Street. We stayed in the heritage courtyard. There is another wing that looks to be newer across the side street. Service was outstanding. Great experience.

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, wonderful rooms and pool and great food at the Mansion. The hotel is perfectly located to visit Siem Reap, very close to the night market but still secluded in a quite area, the hotel atmosphere transports you to the 20s when foreign correspondents spent time there having drinks and hanging out, awesome feeling. A la carte breakfast is really nice and staff is very nice and friendly. We had dinner twice at the mansion and the food was really good too. We have been in many 5 star hotels around the world and FCC has some special charm for sure, can't recommend it enough.

I stayed at this fantastic hotel in Siam Rieb when i went there with my two kids to go see the Angkor Wat temple. The rooms, the service and also their help with arranging trips was amazing, i can highly recommend this hotel that are also located very central in the city.

Jacques (General Manager) was very kind and shared with us useful tips Breakfast and dinner are of exceptional quality. We enjoyed a Khmer dance performance at the hotel. Our stay at FCC Angkor was nothing short of magical, thanks entirely to the extraordinary team. The staff wrapped us in genuine warmth and true kindness from day one, constantly exceeding our needs. We were lucky to stay in the Governor’s Suite, which was incredible, chic, sophisticated, and packed with wonderful amenities. The restaurant was so exceptionally good that we almost never felt like dining anywhere else, and the elegant swimming pool was always kept at the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip after exploring the temples. This was my third time staying at FCC. A group of friends went for the Angkor Wat running race. It’s a delightful spot, rooms are a good size and well decorated. Very comfortable bed. It’s also not a very big hotel, which for me is nice. Lovely courtyard pool in their tropical garden. Easy location by the river for walking around and a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to Pub Street if you’re wanting drinks. The spa is also excellent. Highly recommended.

FCC Angkor by Avani is one of the best hotels my wife and I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The rooms are spacious with many French colonial touches making the experience interesting and novel. The bed was very comfortable and spacious (king sized). The restaurant was outstanding with the breakfast selection hard to beat with an egg chef and cuisine choices from across the world. By far FCC Angkor's greatest asset is its many staff. All are helpful, well presented and always aiming to please. The reception staff particularly could not have been more helpful especially for first time travellers to Cambodia. The grounds are immaculate and the cleaning staff discreet. The swimming pool on a hot humid afternoon was a huge bonus. FCC Angkor by Avani may not be as cheap as rival hotels in Siam Reap but is worth the extra for the opulent experience.

FCC is a wonderful hotel. The location is in a lush beautiful neighborhood and next to the Royal Palace. Very easy to walk everywhere. People in the hotel are very friendly and the service is superb. We particularly love the breakfast at the hotel.

We called in for a drink as the hotel looked beautiful in the evening as we passed by, and the bar looked so inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially May from FoH who showed us around in case we ever want to stay on a future visit (everything about the hotel looked amazing!) and Vandet at the bar who made us some fabulous cocktails. Looking forward to coming back one day soon!

This was a lovely hotel in Siem Reap, great facilities and exceptional staff. The location was great, an easy walk or tuk tuk ride into the town. The rooms were a good size and extremely clean.

A beautiful hotel and restaurant, staff were so lovely and accommodating with special mention of Ms Leakena and Mr Savinh. The room was perfect, with a lovely view of the pool from our patio. The location was excellent next to the royal palace and walking distance to supermarket, cafes and river.

This hotel is pretty close to perfect. The staff, the grounds, the décor, the food and beverage are all outstanding. An amazing breakfast menu, served by courteous and attentive staff is a great start to any day. A swim in the beautiful pool followed by coctkails at the Scribe bar is a great way to wind down as well. I would definitely come back here any time I'm in the area.

Stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teen boys so opted for 2 adjoining rooms (Colonial Premier). Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Our only disappointment was the view from each of the balconies of these adjoining family rooms where we’d hoped to relax after days exploring is to large air conditioning vents and bare rooftop/plumbing. Hotel grounds reflect French colonial heritage and are beautifully maintained, with 2 pools (one in each wing of the hotel, each wing being separated by a road). Amazing service from a wonderful crew of staff; pricing for some services (airport transfers) at over 3 x rate of tour operators seemed a little over-zealous. Breakfast is served à la carte and was a lovely start to each day. Scribe bar is a stunning outdoor bar to watch the world go by, straight across from the river.

It is perfectly quiet but still just a 5-minute walk to the main restaurants and the Royal Garden. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. This hotel has just become one of my favourites ever! I love everything about it. It’s so beautiful and so well maintained. Sleek contemporary decor with traditional touches. It has all the most modern comforts while maintaining a timeless charm. The atmosphere is magic. Last but not least the staff are simply superb. Everyone we encountered was just so nice and friendly yet super professional and helpful. They all really elevate this beautiful hotel to a stunning one. Absolutely top class. Excellent location close enough to the main restaurant and shopping area to walk but far.enough it is relatively quiet. Rooms are very cute and have a retro feel.

FCC Angkor was next level. Location 5 star. Staff - so friendly, excellent local knowledge and above and beyond attentive to every detail of your stay. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, es gab nichts zu bemängeln! Das Personal war super freundlich, das Frühstück hervorragend, das Essen im Restaurant ebenfalls und auch die Zimmer waren toll!

Wir persönlich mögen den neuen Stil der Badezimmer nicht, bei denen man nur Schiebetüren etc hat und keine vernünftige Tür. Der andere Zimmerbewohner bekommt für unseren Geschmack "zuviel" mit......aber das ist unsere individuelle Meinung!

We had a great time. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The facility was fabulous centrally located and walking distance to pub street, eating places etc The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and the breakfast was made to order every morning and it was included. We had dinner here one evening even tried Amok, traditional Cambodian dish. It was delicious and enjoyed the Apsara dance show along with dinner. The facility and restaurant received Michelin Star rating in 2025

A beautiful 4 night stay at FCC Angkor. The service is wonderful and all the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room is large, comfortable and clean and there were lovely personal touches such as nightly chocolates and a small bottle of vodka in our room. The breakfast is A La Carte in their restaurant and there are plenty of delicious Cambodian and Western options. Staff remembered our coffee orders and were incredibly sweet. The location is terrific, right next door to the river and royal palace. We were walking distance to most places. The pool area is serene and quiet and so refreshing after a long day of touring the temples.

Great hotel in a great location manned by an excellent team. Large comfortable rooms with good showers. Take the breakfast package as it has everything you want on an a la carte basis. No buffet!!!

2nd visit since 2022. The quality service experience starts from the time you exit the airport with your hotel limo hoping your name and then guiding you to the car with a cold towel, water and chocolates from the hotel. Then there is the reception when you arrive, the welcome drink, smooth check in and an upgrade to the largest room (river view suite) in the hotel. Am escorted across the road to the new block (where my suite is) and with welcome amenities in my room (plus a surprise anniversary cake). The rooms itself is huge, clean with modern facilities and with a large balcony surrounding it facing the river of course. And the air conditioning is set just right from the heat outside. Check out the bar for evening drinks, with a good menu of cocktails. Breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant is a great spread with great service and food items. Lovely shower in the room our outside (covered) if you want. Only the check out seemed to be a little slow somehow this time. But this maybe because we wanted to leave by 7.30am. All in a wonderful stay with great service staff throughout.

While the property isn't sprawling, it is designed with two distinct swimming pools, the atmosphere remains relaxed and never feels crowded. Our Pool Access Room is a standout choice. It is thoughtfully decorated with a sophisticated aesthetic and offers ample space to move around comfortably. Most importantly, the housekeeping is meticulous, keeping the entire area spotless. The breakfast service is impressive, mainly a western style menu but featuring a noodle station for local flavors. The selection changes daily, preventing "breakfast fatigue" during longer stays.The fresh-made juices are a fantastic touch, providing a refreshing start to the morning. If you prefer the personality of a boutique hotel over a massive resort, this is an excellent pick.

We had a heritage deluxe room which opened right out into the pool.. this is the best hotel we have stayed during our trip around Vietnam and Cambodia. It is very luxurious with wonderful rooms and an amazing bed. Breakfasts are wonderful and the staff are so good and helpful. The rooms have amazing little detail touches like the old phones and old typewriters. This hotel is worth every penny and I would recommend to anyone

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Angkor Wat. The Heritage Wing where I stayed is comprised of a small number of mid-century whitewashed blocks built around a beautifully restored French Governor's mansion dating from 1917. I was upgraded on arrival to a ground floor Pool Courtyard room. Stylishly furnished in a mid-century Franco-Khmer style, the spotlessly clean room opened onto a private terrace with direct garden and pool access. Staff throughout the hotel were amazing and both the a la carte breakfast in The Mansion and the bar food at Scribe were superb. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable Group Stay – Exceptional Service and Comfort ​I recently stayed at the FCC Angkor with a group of 24 guys for a long weekend of golf, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. ​Jacques and his team are true professionals. The service was impeccable; managing a large group can be a challenge, but they handled everything with ease, making us feel welcome and well-taken care of throughout our stay. ​The hotel itself is in a great location, right in the heart of the action but still offering a refined atmosphere. The rooms are excellent, featuring brand-new beds that were incredibly comfortable—exactly what you need after a long day on the course. ​We also thoroughly enjoyed the dining; the food was fantastic. ​Whether you are traveling with a large group or looking for a high-end retreat, I cannot recommend this place enough. Had a 4 nights stay, and have to admit in one of the nicest hotel rooms i have seen in a very long time. Attention to detail is at a level of it's own. Especially enjoyed the breakfast restaurant which offered a very nice and balanced spread in a magnificent colonial style setting. The staff was very friendly and engaging.

All the Hotel facilities, rooms, restaurants, bar and pools were all superb and had a great relaxed vibe. Jacques and his team are super attentive, providing first class service.

To say Jacques and his team made us feel like royalty throughout our stay would be a disfavor to them. It is very hard to put words into the levels of comfort and warmth we recited throughout the stay. From airport pick up to airport drop off, this little gem competes with the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in’s cross the world. The FCC Angkor is a fantastic colonial style hotel, but what makes it even more special are the staff. Incredibly friendly and accommodating while anticipating all of our needs always with a smile.

Stunningly beautiful & comfortable hotel. Travelled as a party of 8 friends and we all got an upgraded room overlooking the pool. The design & attention to detail is exquisite - from locally handwoven deck shoes, to deliciously crafted homemade chocolates left at night to the amazingly comfortable super king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets…. It’s exquisitely curated. However the jewel in the crown are the staff ! Attentive, kind and super caring. The Cambodian people have a contentment and happiness that shows the strength of the human spirit, and it’s clear the hotel manager has hired well! Top marks to a hotel brand that understands what service is all about. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
