Overall a great stay. Solid location close to the Benalmádena marina which is a lovely place day or night. Lots of beach clubs and water sports on the door. Pool area was lovely and plenty of beds. The staff all around the hotel were super friendly!

I would say the pool bar is a little underwhelming and pool side service is a bit luck of draw. Cocktail we did have was top class. Breakfast options were nice but a bit more variety would be nice, starts to feel the same.

A recepción nagyon kedvesen fogadtak, a szobákat sikerült egymáshoz viszonylag közelire módositani A szobák kényelmesek, tiszták voltak, a légkondi és a mennyezeti ventillator jó hőmérsékletet biztositott Az étterem személyzete barátságos, segitőkész volt, Az ételek választéka minden képzeletet felülmúlt, akár reggel akár este.

Utcára néző szobánk volt a mellékszárnyban, itt a reggeli zaj kicsit nagy volt (szállitó, ill szemetes autók) A Spa elég kicsi, szegényes, de ez nyáron nem okoz igazán gondot . A tengerparton viszont lehetne a szállodának saját elkeritett területe, saját napágyakkal -leginkább ez ami hiányzott a tökéletességhez.

We have stayed at the Nautilus on a few occasions prior to the upgrade & it was very good then. The refurbishment is fabulous, we love RIU hotels. The food was excellent as usual, staff friendly & polite, I would recommend to everyone 😀😀😀😀

The outside bar near the pool, a more conventional bar would be good rather than just a hatch.

Położenie, dobre do plażowania, spacerów.

Część pokoi wychodzi na ulicę. Nasz pokój niestety vis a vis okien miał śmietniki. Pobieranie śmieci budziło nas każdego ranka o 6:30 😞 zgłaszałam przed przyjazdem obsłudze hotelu że cierpię na nadwrażliwość dźwiękową ale kompletnie to zignorowali.

There is nothing not to like about this hotel. It's recent upgrade, quality of rooms, facilities,staff and location are fantastic. The beach location and proximity to the marina in Benalmadena is a bonus. There are bars and shops close by and a taxi rank in front of the hotel. There was a wide choice of food available for breakfast and evening meal and the bar prices were very reasonable. The gardens were very well kept.

Hard to find fault with the hotel. Although we arrived about an hour later than the check in time our room wasn't ready and we had a very short wait. We were given a welcome drink and offered more when we were waiting. The staff were very apologetic. On a personal note I am allergic to strawberries, there was nowhere on the paperwork I completed on line to show this. I wouldn't have expected the hotel not to serve them but I did have to be careful because they were used as garnish and I was wary of cross contamination. I just avoided the areas where they were.

No se, no disfrutamos absolutamente nada de las instalaciones del hotel, nos fuimos sin desayuno y con bulla cerca a la habitacion desde muy temprano.

Nada! Reservamos en este hotel nuestra noche de bodas y solicitamos pudieran darnos una cama matrimonial, quiza algo de decoracion, champagne y un late check out, NO nos dieron nada, eran camas dobles y a las 12 nos pidieron retirarnos. Me parece INCREIBLE que un hotel por el cual pagamos casi 500 euros la noche, se sintiera como un hotel de 50 euros. Pesima coordinacion, pesima atencion y su "solucion" cuando hicimos el check out a las 12, fue ofrecernos una copa de cava.....??? Que pesima experiencia, nos malograron nuestra Noche de Bodas.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cet établissement. Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel. La chambre : Spacieuse, d'une propreté irréprochable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La literie est incroyablement confortable, ce qui nous a permis de passer des nuits très reposantes. Le service : Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et prêt à rendre service ou à donner de superbes recommandations locales. Les équipements : Le spa / la piscine est un vrai plus, très bien entretenu et idéal pour se détendre. Le petit-déjeuner et le dîner : Un buffet varié, frais et copieux avec des produits de grande qualité. Un vrai régal chaque matin et chaque soir ! L'emplacement de l'hôtel est également idéal pour découvrir la région tout en profitant d'un calme absolu. En résumé : Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés et où nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment privilégié ! et salutations à M. Raoul pour ses attentions lors du service dîner et petit déjeuner

Das Personal und die Ausstattung.

Die Lage ist derart zentral, dass nachts um 01:30 Uhr gröllende junge Menschen von ihrer Party kommend, völlig vergessen, dass sie nicht allein Urlaub machen. Ps. Das Hotel kann dafür nichts. Daher kein Vorwurf. Es ist ein Fluch und Segen zugleich, wenn man derart zentral gelegen ist.

Loved the new renovation. The location , especially staff at reception, pool bar and restaurant where really nice and friendly., they make you feel at home will go back again.

C’est un endroit très froid, très impersonnel, le plan de l’hôtel est très compliqué pour accéder aux différents services ainsi qu’aux chambre. J’ai eu un accueil très froid à mon arrivée le 5 mai. On m’attribuer la chambre numéro 23 qui est de notre tristesse à mourir. Pas un brin de soleil de toute la journée. Heureusement, j’ai pu obtenir un changement de chambre, la veille de mon départ dans l’immeuble principal au septième étage enfin un peu de soleil . C’est à l’endroit qui ressemble à gigantesque EHPAD avec des personnes souvent très âgées. Aucune ambiance dans cet hôtel, je n’y retournerai sûrement jamais

Breakfast wasn’t great, sausages and bacon was terrible, filter coffee tasted sub par. Only one pillow per guest and was too soft. Average age demographic of the guests was unexpected, many of whom were grumpy, judgemental and belligerent. They were also awful towards the local bird life that was around the pool and bar area.

Výborná strava, pekné prostredie. Ústretový personál. Zábava, reštaurácie v okolí. Primeraná cesta ubytovania cez jarné obdobie. Určite by sme sa sem vrátili pri ďalšej návšteve.

Hotel recién renovado muy bien ubicado en el paseo de playa , cerca de la Marina de Benalmádena y a un paseo largo de Torremolinos La limpieza excepcional La comida de excelente calidad y el plus de comedor con terraza y vistas al mar Pero lo mejor su personal : nos recibieron con sonrisa y copa de cava , nos subieron categoría de habitación y nuestra camarera de habitación 707 están siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara nada Es el mejor de los RIU que he visitado hasta el momento

The hotel was fabulous having only just been refurbished. The location was excellent being a beach from location and a 2 minute walk to the harbour. The staff were all friendly and food was delicious especially the a la carte restaurant which was included as part of our half board package.

Die Nähe zum Strand. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant Krystal, das einmal in der Halbpension inkludiert ist, war sehr schön eingerichtet und das Essen war auch sehr gut. Der Service war jedoch nicht auf dieser höhe.

Spa Bereich nur über den Aussenbereich und der Garage erreichbar. Bei Regenwetter nicht so toll. Es ist zwar ein Adults Only Hotel, hatte aber vorwiegend ältere Gäste.

The hotel was clean and generally well-maintained, and looked newly refurbished.

The experience didn’t meet expectations overall. Some staff members were friendly, while others came across as less welcoming and somewhat dismissive. The hotel was also almost entirely occupied by much older guests (mostly 65+), which wasn’t clearly communicated in the ad - only described as “adults only,” so the atmosphere was very different from what we expected. Additionally, we were given a different room from what was advertised. Although it technically had a sea view, it was facing the street with views of bins and surrounding buildings, which was disappointing. ( see photos) The hotel was not willing to address this, although Booking.com later gave us a small wallet credit as a gesture of good will.

New refurb, new sunbeds, excellent food and very reasonable wine.

Klusa un mierīga viesnīca! Laba atrašanās vieta nav tālu no lidostas! Nav drūzma pie maltītēm! Līdz jūrai arī nav tālu! Teritorijā skaista, sakopta, zaļa.

Nenormāla smaka! Vairākas reizes sūtīja personālu tīrīt kanalizāciju! Kamēr nepieprasīju iet kopā ar viesnīcas darbinieku, un tad tika samainīts nummurs! Nezinu vai tie ir tīrīšanas līdzekļi vai kas bet ja tīrīšanas līdzekļi iesaku tos nomainīt! Arī otrā nummurā bija tāda pati smaka tikai mazāka! Liekas ka kaķi piečurājuši!

Die Zeit war zu kurz.

My Sister and I travelled to the Riu Nautilus to escape the British winter and have a restful weeks holiday and that is certainly what we got. The hotel was immaculate, food was excellent, position of room was as requested and all staff were amazing. What more could you ask for!

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel all in the last 2 years. Having realised that our recent stay started on the day the hotel reopened after the refurbishment, we were a little worried, but we needn't have been. Yes, there were a few teething problems whilst we were there, but these were promptly dealt with. Positives....lovely welcoming foyer area and much better lifts (although we did get stuck in one!). Far better layout in the restaurant with more space. Will be interesting to see how it all works when the hotel is full though. Food at breakfast and dinner was well presented, plentiful and varied. Much improved ramp down to the promenade. Lovely new sun terrace with new sunbeds - watch out for those selfish folks who leave towels out at silly o'clock then arrive mid afternoon - the stated 'no reserving subeds' rule needs policing or it will be ignored. Great staff in every area of the hotel that can't do enough for you. Things for the hotel to consider...(relatively minor issues in our view)... the new room layout, with a drawer unit topped with an enormous TV in the middle of the room, is bizarre and leaves the floor space very cramped. Consider putting the drawers inside the large wardrobe and put the TV on the wall opposite the bed. Get more English TV channels eg BBC1, ITV1. At breakfast, have made to order omelettes available with various fillings (cheese, onion, peppers, mushrooms, ham) and put more oats in the porridge so it's thicker. Consider having the beach gate powered to open and close automatically to allow for easier wheelchair/disabled access and remove the step that leads from the ramp to the promenade surface. Put proper teaspoons in the bedrooms not just wooden stirrers. Only allow smoking in one area of the outdoor bar area and not at all on balconies, round the pool or sun terrace. Install plumbed filtered water dispensers on landings to reduce plastic bottle waste and improve the hotel's sustainability. Note the room signage says the water in rooms is not drinkable. Note that the RIU website says that the room minibar is FREE, it isn't! Plus, the advertised room air conditioning is not available in March it appears no matter how hot it gets. So, would we go back? We've already booked for May and are considering a November break as well, which says it all.

So we arrived on the morning it opened after refurbishment. We had no water for a few hours on the Friday but the issue was quickly resolved. The hotel is lovely, really nice but it is made better by the staff, they are wonderful. The only negative experience we had was in Krystal's where we were forgotten and left before our dessert's were served but I would not use this to downgrade our experience, it was 5*.

El personal muy atento y amable en todo momento. El hotel estaba todo reformado. El boufete con mucha variedad y calidad tanto en el desayuno como la cena.

No estaba aún habilitado el aparcamiento subterráneo y tuvimos que buscar aparcamiento en los alrededores.

The hotel has been totally refurbished and this was the first day they opened. Naturally there were a few gremlins to deal with. Beautiful decor and quality of fittings. First class musical duo at night

Poor choice of wine by the glass. Only BBC news channel in English whereas there were TV channels in German, French, Dutch and the Scandinavian languages. This seems to be a policy of the RIU chain, not to have English TV. Couldn't fathom out soap dispensers.

Personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk! Groot compliment voor Javier en Isa. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. Het hotel werd goed schoongehouden. Kamer zijn ietwat gedateerd maar niets was defect of vuil. Echt een aanrader dit hotel!

Het diner viel wat tegen. Beperkte keuze en van iets mindere kwaliteit vonden wij. In de nabije omgeving meer dan genoeg eetgelegenheden.

Hotel in einer top Lage, direkt an der kilometerlangen wunderschönen Strandpromenade, in eine Richtung konnte man bis Torremolinos laufen, in die andere Richtung bis Benalmadena und noch weiter. Der tolle Yachthafen sowie das urige Fischerviertel in unmittelbarer Nähe, Restaurants, Cafes un d Geschäfte ohne Ende.Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut.Ein Erwachsenenhotel der RIU- Gruppe, das sehr gut geführt wird, Angefangen von der herzlichen Begrüßung mit einem Glas Sekt an der Rezeption, weiter über serviceorientierte Kellner und Kellnerinnen bis hin zum freundlichen Reinigungspersonal. Obwohl die Ausstattung unseres Doppelzimmers mit direktem Meerblick schon ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen war, war es unheimlich sauber, Ein tolles Bad mit ebenerdiger großer Dusche, Überhaupt war das Hotel in allen Bereichen sehr sauber, immerzu wurde irgendwo geputzt und gewischt, Die Buffets zum Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und schmackhaft.Poolbereich und Gesamtanlage sehr gepflegt. Das leidige Problem mit der frühen , fast schon im Morgengrauen beginnenden Belegung mit Handtüchern,scheint auch dieses Hotel leider nicht in den Griff zu bekommen, Es ist ein Hotel, was wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen können, Das ist natürlich unsere subjektive Einschätzung, ein Haar in der Suppe kann man überall finden. Das Hotel wird nun von November bis März 2026 renoviert und wird dann in neuem und modernen Ambiente erstrahlen, Wird aber preislich doch einen Zacken teurer, leider,
