Hotel je v centru dění na promenádě Torremolinos. Prostorný bazén a velmi dobré snídaně.

Mám výhrady k čistotě. Na WC není po dotázání v žádném pokoji štětka na záchod. Musíte čekat na další den, až přijde uklízečka a hnědou umyje. Fuj. Absence parkování.

Locatia, situat langa mare. Personalul foarte ok, din pacate hotelul era vechi, camerele demodate si baia murdara.

Micul dejun foarte limitat, acelasi in fiecare zi: 3-4 tipuri de salam si 2-3 tipuri de branza. Doua legume: rosii si castraveti. Cafeaua foarte slaba, dar aici cred ca datorita aparatului de duzina. Hotelul relativ vechi. Am avut camera cu vedere la plaja dar iarba se tundea foarte devreme (undeva pe la 6:30). Aerele conditionate erau foarte murdare si emanau un miros neplacut. Din pacate cel mai mare minus e raportul calitate-pret.

The hotel and staff are fantastic been here 3 years in a row but one thing that is frustrating is on top of paying for breakfast for myself and my partner, to have gluten free hot food offered as I am coeliac costs an additional €5 daily supplement on top of breakfast price that had to be paid already.

The staff at the roof top bar was very aggressive. After asking for a drink, 5 minutes later and without any heads up, they start pushing to leave the premises even do we’re staying at the hotel they take the drinks without an option to take it to the room or give us some time to finish them.

Wij vonden de accommodatie heel erg netjes en schoon. Mooie ruime kamer met prachtig uitzicht op zee en een mooi ruim balkon om ‘s avonds nog even te zitten. Het zwembad was mooi schoon en we konden heerlijk liggen op de bedjes. Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie locatie aan de boulevard. Erg leuk en gezellig dakterras om ‘s avonds nog even een drankje te drinken. Kortom genoten.

Está algo obsoleto, necesita actualización. En cuanto al régimen de comidas, la media pensión se puede optar por almuerzo o cena llamando previamente al hotel pero en Booking no te dan esta opción, lo cual me parece una falta de información que te genera el no poder almorzar en el hotel cuando SI tienen este servicio

Mucha suciedad, instalaciones y pasillos del hotel muy dejados.

Todo el personal es muy amable, especialmente los camareros, socorristas y animación. El buffet puede parecer pequeño pero es variado, todos los días probamos algo nuevo y siempre hay algo cocinado en directo. La ubicación es inmejorable, al estar en primera línea de playa y cerca de Puerto Marina. La orientación de las habitaciones es excelente, ya que se ve el mar desde la mayoría de ellas.

Pese a la multitud de carteles la gente reserva hamacas, especialmente a la hora de comer, y nadie hace nada. Debería de haber control todos los días y que alguien se encargara de quitar las toallas. Los cristales del rooftop necesitan una limpieza, la suciedad estropea las vistas. Ventilación en el ascensor estaría genial.

Hotel je umístěn prakticky u pláže, u promenády, můžete tedy využívat lehátka zdarma u bazénu a do moře "přeběhnout" přes pláž, pokud nemáte chuť ležet přímo na pláži. Pokoj byl velice příjemný, dostatečně veliký s klimatizací a balkonem. Skvělá polopenze a to jak snídaně, tak i večeře. Všeho byl vždy dostatek. Personál velice milý, příjemný, bazén byl milým bonusem, i když voda v odpoledních hodinách byla už dost teplá :-). Moře mělo skutečně velice dlouhý a pozvolný vstup.

Skutečně negativně hodnotím celodenní pouštění hudby u bazénu a večerní hlasitou hudební produkci z terasy/baru, umístnou na střeše hotelu. Chápu, že se jedná o volně dostupný bar i pro hosty mimo hotel, ale nechápu, proč hudba hraje ještě ve 2:00. Pokud nemáte špunty do uší, nebo prostě u hluku neusnete, pak tento hotel nedoporučuji.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. We booked rooms facing pool. We didn’t get sun on balcony as I think sun too high for that but it’s so hot we were glad. We went for breakfast once but so busy and not much left as we were nearer 10,30 when it finished. We ate several times at pool bar. Food was really good. Sun beds were available until after 10am thanks to the staff removing towels . A special mention to Elliot at the pool He is an asset to the hotel. So friendly and welcoming. We were treated like family. Couldn’t do enough for us and other guests. Drinks served to our sun-beds with a great sense of humour. Made our holiday. Thank you Elliot. No kids disco or kids club which is why we not booking next year as a family but will definitely come back as a couples holiday. Lots of Spanish people compared to british but we are in Spain. I think it says how good the hotel is when locals like to holiday here.

This is a lovely well maintained hotel. Had a fabulous view over pool and seafront, with direct access to beach through gate. Good sized pool, with various activities going on. Location is spot on with the Marina just a short walk away. Only had bed and breakfast which was very tasty. Spacious room, with fab Aircon. On arrival we had a complimentary bottle of wine, water and pastries which was very welcome Had a small maintenance issue, which was very quickly resolved My only minor gripe was no kettle, but you can hire one,which we did, however you have to wash up in the bathroom sink, with no washing up liquid or dishcloth etc provided. All staff work very hard, everywhere very clean. 3 small lifts, but wasn't a problem, often using it alone, or only waiting a short time for them to become free.

Enjoyed staying at hotel. The staff were friendly. It felt clean and safe. Walked directly into promenade/seafront.

El hotel como siempre muy bien, buena ubicación y lo mejor de todo siempre el personal, tanto recepción, camareros, socorristas ( este año Marco es majisimo) y especial mención a Miguel de animación, de lo mejor que he visto, todo el rato hablando con la gente para que participara y en el aquagym cada dia bailes y canciones nuevas, nunca repetía...es un crack

Aún quedan algunos detalles pir renovar en algún pasillo de alguna planta, pero es mínimo y solo por mencionar algo que no fue perfecto

Located at the Southern end of Carihuela, the hotel grounds and gate are literally 5m away from the huge flat fantastic beach. A good sized pool, plenty of loungers and fixed umbrellas, grassy garden area around the pool, pool bar. Pretty much everything you could want for a holiday in the sun. The hotel itself is deffo 3*. Well maintained, clean and cool. 9 floors of accommodation with the 10th floor being the rooftop bar with great views of the beach towards Benelmadena marina, the town behind and Málaga and mountains to the North. A nice chilled area. Open from 7pm at night, when the hottest part of the sun had gone but it was till toasty up there. Very nice place to start or end your evening with a couple drinks, which we did. The rooms are pretty basic but well maintained. The beds are firm but comfortable. A bath/shower rather than walk in. A decent sized balcony (ours was South facing with great views over the pool towards the marina). The air-con worked great and was very welcome in July. Just about enough wardrobe space for two people for two weeks. Slight downside is you have to hire a kettle and the safe boxes are down in the hotel lobby, which again you have to hire, and not quite as convenient as in your room. Neither is expensive so not a great drama. The pool is a great size, 1.50m deep at max, and was never too crowded. Thoroughly cleaned and maintained each morning. It opens at 10am which allows a leisurely breakfast before your first dip. There are games and events a couple times a day which plenty people enjoyed and the friendly enthusiastic staff made them fun to watch for those not taking part, and many people did take part. The guys played music throughout the day which mostly had a Latin vibe and just gave a good atmosphere. This is a relaxed yet vibrant pool area, with everyone behaving themselves. There were plenty kids there but not once were they overwhelming or annoying. Exactly as it should be , they were just there having fun and they added to the relaxed feel. There is a good mix of nationalities with many Spanish people and this mix just made it more enjoyable. Only one group had maybe misjudged the hotel vibe and were a few beers more and a bit louder than this hotel caters for. Nothing particularly bad, but a noticeable difference to the majority. I think the staff may have pointed this out and the next day they were still louder than most but not quite as boisterous. The area around the pool is mixed patio and lawn. There are a good number of loungers and especially good was the fact there is not a mass stampede to book them in the morning. A few people did get the towels down before breakfast and dad stood guard, but if you arrived before lunch there was a good chance that you would get one. The staff were pretty reasonable in policing them. You could disappear for a while and have lunch or a dip in the sea etc for an hour, but he did regular checks and if anybody took the mick and disappeared for a few hours without at least one of the group using them then he would remove towels etc to allow other people the use, this was carried out especially when it was a bit busier and people were looking , but would be a bit more lenient if it was quiet. Overall the policing was very fair. The pool bar opened at 11:30 and is reasonably priced, with plenty choice and friendly staff. Nice area to grab some shade for a half hour with a drink or snacks (hot or cold) while being able to keep an eye on the pool or loungers. We used it pretty much every day. There is entertainment most nights and this seemed well attended and received, even though we didn't use it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and is definitely worth considering and we will again The situation at South Carihuela is great. Directly on a great wide promenade that goes unbroken for miles, and is flat and well used, giving great walking access to the whole beach area. There are bars, restaurants, and beach club / chiringuitos along it's length that cater for every taste and budget. You will find something that suits. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and spoke English. There is a lovely tiled avenue on the backside of the promenade buildings that has even more bars , restaurants etc. You could be here a month and not eat in the same place twice. Gets busier about 21:30 , and some places advise booking in advance, but you will get a seat somewhere within a few steps. In amongst the eateries are loads of beach shops selling everything you could want for the beach, and gifts (tat). There are also more normal shops that sell groceries, clothing, gifts etc. Plenty to rummage if that is your thing. This extends to Benelmadena too, past the Marina, which itself is a hive of activity and more lively than Carihuela One street back you get plenty Supermercado which are slightly cheaper than the beach front, and if you are willing to walk 10mins then there LIDL, ALDI, Carrefour etc which have normal supermarket prices There are plenty of the more opportunities vendors selling fake goods, t-shirts, hats, bags, trainers mostly. They are to be found on the promenade with their stuff layed out on sheets or wandering by , including bars restaurants. They will ask politely and just walk on if you politely say no thanks, only a couple tried to push a little bit and chance their arm but even then they were not oppressive. Plenty people but from them and they have a lookout system to give a warning when the local beach police patrols are coming. Although technically illegal the police do not seem heavy handed, they are polite and organised and plenty people were buying from them, so maybe a reasonable balance has been agreed. Wasn't our thing but if you like to barter then give it a go and you might get a decent bargain. It's all fake or stolen but all looked decent. This is just a "brief" summary of the local area and being a pretty big conurbation there is plenty more to explore We enjoyed it very much and will be back

Fairly average I would say, possibly a bit overpriced for a three star. My biggest concern was the lack of sunbeds, even as early as 10am there clearly aren’t enough for the number of people staying here. I can see from previous posts that the hotel used to be very proactive in removing towels from sunbeds not being used, unfortunately this is no longer the case. We saw numerous beds with towels on for the whole day and not being used. When we asked the pool guy for assistance he said to find an empty sunbed and put a towel on it to reserve it! The very thing they claim to discourage - or purchase the Bali beds at €20 per day which were available. They need to reduce the number of paid-for Bali beds and increase the number of sunbeds. Surprised there was no water in the rooms, also the cleaners never touched the glasses we had used the day before, a little odd. Food was ok, location superb. Not sure if I’d return but was nice to visit this part of Spain

En general estaba todo bien, ubicación genial, la habitación nos dieron con vistas a la piscina. Íbamos con un bebé y nos pusieron un parque cuna sin problema. En el restaurante todo genial, variedad de comida. Piscina muy limpia. Tanto el personal del restaurante como el de la piscina muy amables, el chico de la animación también muy atento.

Deberían de poner animación también los domingos. En el restaurante otra tostadora y otra persona en la zona de la plancha porque una sola persona no da a basto. Mal acceso para entrar por la puerta principal del restaurante con cochecito (no vendría nada mal una pequeña rampa) los que habían en el restaurante nos ayudaban a bajarlo y subirlo. Parking muy pequeño, luego tuvimos suerte de encontrar hueco en la misma calle. Son pequeñas cosas sin importancia, con el tiempo todo se podrá mejorar.

Stayed at the Barracuda many times before, and as always, we loved it there again. Staff are superb, especially on reception, had a fabulous room overlooking the pool, and the rooftop bar has a stunning view of Málaga, Torremolinos and towards Benalmádena. See you again in September

The service of the staff on reception is very poor and rude. The tiles in the pool were broken. No facilities to shower on last day. Staff extremely rude when asked if we could have a room to shower in.

We stayed for the first time in January, we returned in March & have today (26/06/2026) just returned from another stay. We will be staying again in October so obviously like it. Our 2 previous stays were Half Board but this time we just did B&B, mainly due to the vast number of places to eat nearby. We prefer Lunch as our main meal and tend to eat about 3-4pm so thought it would be best. Have noticed that they were doing Full Board, not sure if that's just for those who book direct & for the summer season, but it is an option. The only downsides are that the WiFi only works inside the main Hotel, not in pool area or even rooftop bar ( which is a terrific place for a drink ). There is no air con in public areas, unless it is on too high!. Another great thing we spent a day on the Balinese Beds, these cost 20euros for 2 which includes a bottles of prosecco and snacks, there are other options. It was worth it. Also we could leave towels without them being taken away, as you pay for all day usage. I was pleased to see that they do act on towels reserving normal sunbeds & no sign of the inhabitants because they have decided to go on a shopping spree! All the staff are lovely, helpful and happy, although checkout this morning was funny as man thought we were asking for a taxi & we wanted to store our cases whilst we had breakfast, soon sorted. All in all another lovely stay and looking forward to next time.

Nyrenoverad matsal med mycket bra frukost, stor variation, det mesta finns, kock som gör omelett på plats bland annat. Går att sitta ute eller inne.

Städningen kunde varit bättre, framförallt duschen och när man svabbar golvet behöver man ta under sägarna också. Sängarna är otroligt hårda, men det går om man lägger filtarna i garderoben som "bäddmadrass".

The room and apartment view from the balcony was exceptional, especially as it overlooked the beach directly. The location was also excellent, as it was close to everything. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
