The room was cozy and clean. I liked the scenic painting as well. The soap, and shampoo was pleasant too. I would have liked it if they had tea in the room.

The only thing I thought might be a problem was the train noise but it ended up not bothering me at all. I think I was so tired after all the hiking.

Fiz uma reserva para 3 pessoas: eu, minha esposa e minha filha de 2 anos. Ao chegar no quarto, notei que só havia utensílios de cozinha (pratos, copos, tigelas, talheres) e toalhas para 2 pessoas. Voltei à recepção para solicitar um kit extra. Fui atendido por um homem que se mostrou bastante irritado, afirmando que o quarto no qual eu estava era somente para 2 pessoas, que eu não deveria estar ali, como se a culpa fosse minha por ter escolhido aquele quarto específico. Eu expliquei a ele que fiz a reserva pra 3 pessoas, via Booking.com. Ele então disse que os sistemas internos do hotel e o Booking não conversam muito bem, que o Booking jamais deveria ter alocado um grupo de 3 pessoas naquele quarto. Que se eu quisesse reclamar, deveria entrar em contato direto com o Booking, que então ligaria para eles para admitir que estavam errados. Acredito que quem me atendeu estava nervoso por entender, equivocadamente, que eu estaria exigindo uma cama extra para minha filha. Por fim, após uma conversa absolutamente desnecessária e que me deixou bastante frustrado com o hotel, consegui os itens extra de cozinha e banheiro para a minha filha.

There is a railway just behind the lodge, so it's very noisy when the cargo train passes. Also, surprisingly there is no breakfast! The staff was not very helpful, whatever we asked we got not much help!

Die Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Im TV war ein Kaminfeuer eingeschaltet. Wirklich süß gemacht. Das Personal ließ uns sehr lange im wirklich schönen Aufenthaltsraum auf unser Zimmer warten. Die Geimschaftsküche war super. Allerdings wäre Geschirr und Besteck sehr hilfreich gewesen. Lage konnten wir nicht wirklich testen. Da wir nur 1nacht dort waren. Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Big room with a fireplace and views of the mountains. Staff was very helpful in showing us places to go with directions. Although we had to climb some steps, the room was close to parking and also walking distance to many restaurants and sights.

Ran out of hot water two times for our party of three. Expensive for the room and value but Canmore is expensive and we did book last minute. Also, there is a train that runs behind the room that didn't bother us. Good windows and earplugs provided, which we didn't need.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Basecamp Lodge. We requested the honeymoon celebration package which was very cute. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, the shower had really great water pressure, and we enjoyed the use of the smart tv to sign into our own Netflix account. The place seems very secure and we had our own code to get into the room instead of a key card which was nice. Staff were very friendly. It is a close walk to the downtown Canmore strip. We could control our own climate which was also nice. Our only very small complaint was that there a few very wet spots on the carpet that never seemed to go away. We thought it might have been cleaning products but they never dried so we think they may have been some kind of leak. It was a not a big issue just slightly annoying as we kept accidentally stepping on them with socks on.

Our first night stay had some issues, shower water is not warm enough, feeling cold and around midnight, the fire alarm woke us up because the battery was low. The second night was okay.

Apartment hatte alles um glücklich zu sein. Sehr sauber. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Vollausgestattete Küche. Parken war kein Problem. Lage zum Supermarkt und zur Stadt. Sehr guter Komfort. Kostenlose Heißgetränke oben in der Lobby.

Preis ist schon etwas hoch. Sauna wurde nicht richtig warm.

Enjoyed our stay at Basecamp Lodge. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location is perfect! Walking distance to the popular Bagel shop (next door). The room was well appointed with two very comfortable queen beds. We could hear the train in the distance but it wasn’t distracting or bothersome. It never kept us awake. (The hotel kindly provided earplugs, just in case). The hospitality area had a fancy coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc machine, an ice machine, a tea kettle with various types of teas and a microwave. The room has a refrigerator and a coffee maker. We would’ve loved to have a microwave in there too. The shower was strong and invigorating with nice bath products. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The next time we’ll try the Basecamp Resort next door. It has a hot tub on the third floor (no elevator, steps are outside). A word of advice: if you have trouble climbing stairs, request a room on the first floor. There are no elevators.

Comfortable place, kind staff welcoming us, good shower, spacious room, nice brewery to eat just actoss the street. Trains you could totally hear but didnt bother us!

Parking a bit tight but manageable

The property was a good distance to downtown and offered parking. The rooms were very clean and well kept.

The hotel is next to the railroad tracks making it hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper. We also had no hot water after one person showered so had to space things out between evenings and mornings. It should also be noted there is no elevator so request the lower level if needed for accessibility.

My friends and I stayed at Basecamp Lodge Canmore during our trip to the Canmore area. The location was great and incredibly walkable. The rooms were clean, but the pillows were a bit worse for wear. We were there only for one night, so it was fine overall. The only complaint we had was with the shower curtain. It was on its last legs and kept pooling in the middle, which made showering difficult because we needed to continue to adjust it and water kept pooling outside the shower.

施設自体の居心地は大変満足でした。 Booking.comから予約したのですが、そちらのアプリ内からのメールでプリチェックインの案内が来て、リンクからチェックインできると案内があり、早速しました。 そこで、個人情報などを入力し、送信してしまった後に、Booking.comから、個人情報などは入力しないように、とのメッセージが入っていることに気がつきました。 最近リンクに飛ばせて情報を盗む詐欺などが発生しているためです。 私がリンク先から個人情報を送った後、アプリ内のメッセージやり取りの画面では受付完了、の返信がないままの状態が続いたので、 自分が送ったリンク先は大丈夫だったのか？と とても心配になりました。 結果的には何も問題はなかったのですが ドキドキ心配したのだけが残念でした。

Great location! Right in the middle of canmore. Lots of restaurants all around. Banff only 25 min to the east. Great location for hikes like Ha Ling and Grassi Lakes. No breakfast, no pool, no hot tub all known by us because we read the amenities. However there is also no outdoor seating which is kind of a bummer since you are surrounded by beautiful mountains but unable to sit outside and enjoy them. Otherwise very clean, friendly helpful staff.

Overall it is a good stay if you travel to Banff. Room was comfortable, shower was strong and bathroom had nice products. There is a coffee machine in the room, also a common area with some kitchen supplies (coffee machine didn't work there). They also have a sauna, we didn't have a time to use it. The hotel is close to cafes and some hikes in Canmore.

A train tracks are behind this hotel and you can heart trains at night with window open, but it didn't bothered us so much after a long day (earplugs provided). Parking spaces are tight and overall parking is small, but looks like it is enough for all guests. But if you have a big car, inform a hotel I guess or choose different one.

I was kind of upset. We've stayed at this location twice previously and love our room stay and everything. This time we were in town for a friends wedding and my birthday so we decided to spend a little more money on a room to upgrade. The unfortunate part was the quality of the room went down even though we paid more. The shower situation was ridiculous a half glass wall which stopped 0 water from getting out so the bathroom floods everything time you take a shower. There was water damage on the walls due to that. The water pressure was so bad I had to go to my friends hotel to wash the conditioner out of my hair. As well as being placed in a front of hotel room on the ground floor so we couldn't have our windows open because on multiple occasions people came looking through our window. So it was a disappointing experience. Will Be more skeptical to book in the future.

The room was spacious and comfortable. My husband is still talking about the fabulous shower! The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is located conveniently enough to be able to walk to the center of town.

We love the room we stayed for 4 of us (a family with 2 adults sons). Spacious & clean. A bit noisy when the trains passed-by, but it is ok with us. We like to sit on the "common lounge" with beautiful view, complete with a microwave, coffee machine and sink to wash our dishes. There are a few restaurants next door. The staff is also helpful whenever we inquire something.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and wanted to share a few suggestions that could have made the experience even better. * A hot tub on the property would have been a wonderful addition and would further enhance the guest experience. * The bathroom amenities were excellent. I especially appreciated the quality soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. One item that was noticeably missing, however, was body lotion. I ended up having to go out and purchase some, so including lotion as part of the standard amenities would be a thoughtful touch. * Sara and Joseph were very kind, friendly and extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. * The location is good and connected well to a bus service close by to Banff (Roam no 3 ) within a walking distance . * Restaurants and grocery stores are all close by too.

* As there are no elevators available, assistance with luggage for guests staying on the second floor would be greatly appreciated, particularly for those with mobility concerns or heavier bags. * We asked for room cleaning as we had stayed for 4 nights...and they came, but did not replace the 3 towels for 3 guest...they only left 2 towels. *They didn't even bother to take away and replace the dirty glasses ...they just left them in the room sitting there dirty. *The shared kitchenette lacked any plates or cutlery...what do you eat in or heat your food in ? *The shower had great pressure and hot water but left a horrible puddle in the bathroom and the bath mat had to be squeezed every time one of us had a shower. * We had a king suite which had a king bed and a sofa bed too .the sofa bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and the springs could be felt when you slept on it. * The constant noise of the train was quite disturbing when you wanted to sleep.

Unfortunately, our stay at Basecamp Lodge in Canmore was very disappointing. The bathroom was extremely unhygienic upon arrival: hair everywhere on the floor and in the shower, as well as a heavily soiled toilet with urine on the toilet seat and even on the floor. After we complained, the bathroom was only cleaned superficially. During our entire two-night stay, there was also no room service at all. Even at checkout, apart from a brief “sorry,” there was no serious response. Absolutely unacceptable for the price and the expectations.

The shower, it has a partial glass wall but the actual shower head has a flow that can’t be adjusted. The entire bathroom including the bathroom sink and the toilet gets sprayed on and soaking wet. The bathroom walls are already warped.

Absolut schlechte Lage des Zimmer‘s. Erdgeschoss, jedes Auto fuhr direkt an 3 Fenstern vorbei. Jeder Gast der ausstieg konnte ins Zimmer schauen. Ständig lauter Zug Verkehr. Einfach ein ganz schlechte Zimmer Lage.

Our stay at Basecamp Lodge in Canmore was absolutely amazing. Cozy atmosphere, beautiful mountain views, and such a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the Rockies. Everything felt warm, clean, and welcoming — we can’t wait to come back again.

Property was easy go get to. The room was clean . It’s by the railway. Train does go by within close proximity. But it wasn’t overly loud, and it was actually a nice sight to see the train travelling along the mountain background.

There is parking, but some spaces are tight.

I wish it was just a little closer to downtown, but that’s only because the weather was cold that day so on a warmer day it would not have bothered me one bit!

The parking is difficult with a bigger vehicle but the staff accommodates by reserving stalls specifically for bigger vehicles.

Check in and check out process was very smooth and hassle free. Great coffee machine, community space, super clean and nicely furnished room etc. The entire property felt very well lit and airy.

Parking space could be slightly bigger, also presence of a microwave in the room will be highly appreciated, as in the off season many restaurants close sooner or are closed, it will be easier to heat up ready to eat meals if needed.

Staying in Canmore instead of Banff was the right decision. We liked the town, 20min driving from Banff. Lodge was a great find. Would stay there again. Clean rooms, nice staff and free parking

Bathroom was a bit small.

Terrible stay- avoid. We stay in Canmore 10+ times a year. This was our first with Basecamp. What they don’t tell you is that they back onto the train track and the train runs on schedule every 30 minutes. So if you are facing the track don’t plan on sleeping. On top of it our unit was fully cleaned and we asked if we could check in 30 minutes early (checkin is 4pm). We had dinner reservations and were hoping to freshen up. It was a hard NO, the code switches at 4 and they don’t do early checkin. There were 5 other groups we could see waiting for 4pm even though the units were ready. We also didn’t know that there was a unit below ours and our kitchen was above their bed. Our first noise complaint was at 6:30pm when we came back post dinner from walking in. The second one was at 8pm as we sat at the dining table playing a board game. The person in the unit below was trying to sleep it was Good Friday so both a holiday and a Friday night. We were asked not to walk on the main floor kitchen/living room or make any noise. $550 for 1 night where we had to be quiet after 8pm due to their terrible layout and NO soundproofing. There are so many places in Canmore. Choose anywhere else.
