De grote van de kamer. Het is ook toe aan een opknap beurt, buiten en binnen. Daarnaast beter schoonmaken. Veel kalk resten in badkamer en losse kitranden. Bedden waren netjes.

Bei der Buchung war mir ausdrücklich ein Zimmer mit Blick zur Kathedrale angezeigt worden, das habe ich aber nicht bekommen, sondern einen Blick auf das Restaurantgebäude. Auf meine Nachfrage hin bekam ich gesagt, da könne man nichts machen, das sei eben so. Im Vergleich zu deutlich besseren Hotels, in denen ich bei meiner Rundreise war, völlig überteuert. Die Lage ist gut, der Rest eher Standard. Merkwürdige WLAN-Absicherung mit Zimmernummer und Name, die erst ca 30 Minuten nach dem Einchecken funktioniert, und die eine Anmeldung für mein TomTom-Navi unmöglich gemacht hat.

Die Zimmer sind relativ klein und man hört zum Teil die Gäste in anderen Zimmern.

Kamer was zeer oud en zeer klein, zo klein dat ik 20 cm tussen muur en bed had om in te stappen, airco was defect en wastafelkraan had ook kuren. Er was geen plaats voor een nachtkamerkastje en we moesten uit de koffer leven, want er was geen kast. Ook haken om iets op te hangen zoals een jas waren niet aanwezig. Ontbijt was voldoende maar wel enigszins smakeloos. Personeel was niets op aan te merken.voor 200 euro per nacht

Great Breakfast lots of choice, friendly, helpful staff. 10 minute walk into the harbour area with lots of restaurants. Adjoining secure locked Multi Storey car park which you have to pay for but i didn't mind as it gives you peace of mind knowing that your car is in secure parking. Would definitely return.

Le camere che al piano inferiore sembrano delle cantine , i pochi servizi che ci sono, l odore sgradevole nella camera , problemi con il phon che è bruciato ( il gestore l ha cambiato ed è stato gentile nei nostri confronti). Per l esperienza vissuta lo classifico un specie di motel di passaggio indicato per motociclisti e camionisti. Non lo consiglio per turisti

Die Lage ist wunderbar für einen Besuch im Zentrum von Bayeux, der Kathedrale und auch nah zu den D-Day-Stränden. Klimaanlage konnten wir im August gut gebrauchen. Gut für den Hund war die Wiese gleich hinter dem Hotel. Kotbeutel kennt man hier aber kaum - selbst mitbringen!
Zimmer sehr winzig.

Accueil moyennement sympathique. Un peu cher pour ce que c'est (à la même période j'ai payé moins cher pour des chambres plus grandes et moins impersonnelles).

The breakfast area was very crowded; quite a throng of people around the self service buffet. Decor a little dated and some minor maintenance needed, e.g Sink plug did not go fully down.

Day 1 shower cold no hot water cold shave. Breakfast coffee machine not working, toaster not working breakfast cold so nothing good to say about breakfast. Place needs a good clean cob webs everywhere. Otherwise great location but probably wouldn’t stop there again.

Kamers zijn vrij klein. Ontbijt van 6.30 uur tot 9.00uur, in de vakantie periode vind ik een ontbijt die om 9.00uur stopt wel wat aan de vroege kant.Tijdens ons eerste ontbijt werkte de koffie machine niet meer en waren de broodjes op. De receptie balie staat in de ruimte waar ook het ontbijt is, dat is niet een ideale situatie. Ik zeg niet dat het allemaal slecht is maar er zijn zeker nog wel verbeter punten.

Had the feel of a motel rather than a hotel and the shutter on the front window took some getting used to. The gap between one side of the bed and the wall was quite skinny and awkward. Breakfast choices were limited considering the price paid for BnB board.

So for us the location is good and we have stayed here on several occasions and find that the Campanille model is a good fit for a night or two. Beds are certainly comfortable although with Bayeux being a popular and very picturesque town ( currently no Tapestry though) it is well used and perhaps could do with a slight makeover, but very difficult to do with a constantly used hotel.
We wouldn't say that there are things we didn't like as we know what we are getting with the Campanille model. There are always going to be something that can be improved on and if there is one thing it perhaps is decor , which, in a well used hotel, you will be constantly up against. Overrall though, a good nights sleep, a good shower and a good breakfast (we didn't eat in) but we have most certainly had a reasonable evening meal too.

Bathroom was clean, but toilet was used without cleaning the water :/ unpleasant arrival. Photos of landscape on the website but no views from room window. Basic tea service inside the room is outdated.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026The parking facility is good as is the pedestrian access to the centre of Bayeux. The restaurant facility is satisfactory and is helped by an excellent buffet facility.
The overall room accommodation was very tired and for more than a one night stay, somewhat cramped.
