Nothing! I was worried about the lack of onsite parking : it was so easy with close by local pay lot, very reasonable .

The hotel is right in the heart of everything! The staff was super. Desk staff spoke excellent English, so if you are a timid American, this place will make you feel safe.

It was all good. Maybe a better lounge area for relaxing out of your room.

Location and cleanliness

No elevator, extremely small room, hot water wasn’t hot, shower was so small that you’d have to get out of the shower to pick up the soap if you dropped it

The staff was excellent and very efficient. the location was central to everything and is only about fifteen minutes to twenty minute walk if necessary from the train station. Nothing was left out. It is an amazing place to stay. You never heard or saw the room cleaning folks. It’s very very quiet. Room size and baths were first class. I would recommend anyone stay at this hotel if you’re traveling to Bayeux or the war sites in Normandy, Saint Michelle.

The room was clean. The staff were exceedingly pleasant.

The room was tiny; we could barely move around the bed (and we are not large people). There was noise late at night and early in the morning, as our room was right over the street.

La ubicación es excelente. Junto a la Catedral y a varios restaurantes. La limpieza también muy buena y las camas muy cómodas. La habitación estaba muy mona decorada. En la planta de entrada. Tiene Aire Acondicionado y caja fuerte. Fácil aparcamiento gratis, junto al hotel. Buen desayuno, muy completo. Tiene kettle para hacerte un te o un café.

La habitación tenía 2 camas amplias, y eso hacía que con las maletas abiertas se quedará un poco justa de tamaño. El hotel aunque es muy mono por dentro y por fuera, no tiene ascensor.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a convenient breakfast at hotel. Location was perfect for meeting our tours to Normandy and Mont St. Michel.

Excellent location bang in the centre. You walk out straight into the pedestrian area with a great vibe. Although the busiest part, it is not one of those cities that you keep bumping into people. The room was very good, clean, super comfortable with all the things one would expect. Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Parking - it is a hassle to park. There is free parking from 1900 to 0900 but you need to find a place, which is not always easily available. Staff - we booked 2 rooms (one double and one twin), clearly stated in our booking and they prepared two double beds. Instead of apologising and addressing, they tried to place the blame on us when the booking was super clear.

Very nice boutique hotel. Right at the centre, you can’t get any more central than this. Parking that they mention is close by, park free from 19 to 9am. The most important was , staff was the friendliest I have seen for a long time. Whomever I talked to helped out with everything , answered questions, even gave advice (the Bayeux cathedral light show advice was very very spot on)

Flexibility of staff was wonderful, no issue allowing us to participate with breakfast, though we hadn’t planned it in advance. immediately booked a car to take us to Mt. St. Michel upon our request for next day and the location was in the middle of everything in Bayeux.

Well located in middle of central city, comfortable beds and linens, nicely appointed room and accommodating staff.

We faced the Main Street of central city. With the window open it was noisy early evening. However, with the window closed no problem. We open the back window in the bath and/or the air conditioning worked very well. Problem solved.

Very clean and comfortable. after two weeks in mobile homes it felt very luxurious. Great location within walking distance to the restaurants and shops and the cathédrale. Helpful staff who told us about the light show at the cathedral which was great.

Weinig negatiefs op te merken. Ontbijt zou uitgebreider mogen.

The location could not be better. Staff amazing and just everything was perfect.

Got a parking fine as I erroneously expected pmt on exit and not at arrival (my own stupid mistake). So be warned to Pay for parking on arrival.

The room was very comfortable and the AC was excellent, which was key as it was so hot in France. The location was excellent, right in the heart of town and totally walkable. Even though we were on a main "tourist" road, the room was totally quiet. The hotel had some very interesting WWII relics to view, great photos. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Amazing location. We used it as our hub as rented a car all around Normandy. So many restaurants and shops to walk and see. Downtown is a pretty city and they had a market going on when we arrived. We enjoyed it.

We had one issue with the room where there were urine stains and hair on one of the beds. Even though the bed had been made you could tell no one had really checked it or changed the linens. When we reported the issue they weren’t sure what to do. Eventually they brought us new linens but we had to make the bed etc. They didn’t really help at all or report it to the morning manager. Other than that room was nice and fit our needs.

Wonderful staff! Very helpful and accommodating. Place is centrally located and has a very homey vibe. Would definitely recommend. We visited during a heat wave and the AC was amazing.

This hotel is so cute and in a great location within walking distance of so much in the touristy part of Bayeux. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated and the rooms were very comfortable, great AC, and lots of spaces to hangout outside of your room. The staff were so helpful with instructions for parking and we were always able to find a free public space within 10 minutes walking for our rental.

The room had been recently renovated, but the bathroom was not and certainly could use some updates. Our bathroom had an old mildew scent that got increasingly worse during our stay but otherwise was lovely.

La professionalità, la simpatia e il calore umano dello staff pronto ad accogliere le nostre ( tante) richieste e a risolverle con estrema sollecitudine. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Ottimo il servizio navetta per Mont Saint Michel. Molto buona la colazione ed estremamente gentile il personale della sala. La pulizia degli ambienti è impeccabile.

La chambre no 21. La fenêtre donnait dans le couloir de l’hôtel!!! Très déçu. LA réceptionniste, très froide, n’a pas voulu entrer en matière pour un changement de chambre avec une fenêtre «  normale «  Heureusement, LE réceptionniste nous a proposé une chambre NORMALE.

We were in Bayeux to visit the Normandy beaches. This is a great location for such a trip and our tour company picked up just a short five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is also in a great location with numerous restaurants, cafe’s, bars and a grocery store right next door. It’s also an easy fifteen minute walk to and from the train station.

Wall’s were maybe a little thin. We could easily hear the people next door.

Location and clean-

The location was great, close to shopping, restaurants/bars and even a small grocery store. Close to tourist places & the Tourist Info center. There is a quaint courtyard to sit in also. The rooms were a bit small, but nice! The directions to the hotel are a bit misleading as there are 2 entrances, The one given on the site is the one on the small walking street, not a place you can drive up to if you are traveling by car. There is another entrance on the other side, by the courtyard. This is where the small parking area is located, maybe 10 cars. That street is Place de Quebec. It’s very handy.

The hotel is older and does not have an elevator, so you need to walk up the stairs to get to your room. If your room is 204, that’s actually on the 3rd floor.

Lovely hotel in a great locatiin. The staff and owners of the hotel were very accommodating and friendly. They made us dinner reservations and offered several recommendations for dining. The location is excellent, right in the center of town. They have a shuttle that you can book to St. Mont Michel, which is a bonus. The room was large and windows opened onto a view of the main street. I would stay here again.

There is no elevator, but the staff brought our bags to the room which was very helpful. We didn't like the breakfast. They don't y have a cooked breakfast. Eggs were offered, but the scrambled eggs were precooked , not cooked to order. The croissants and pastries were mini and looked like supermarket items, not bakery items.

Su situación a pocos minutos de las playas del Desembarco de Normandia, museos y otros lugares de interés. Bayeux es un pueblo muy bonito con una catedral impresionante y edificios que le hacen parecer un pueblo de cuento. El hotel es muy bonito, tiene mucho estilo. Las habitaciones son un poquito pequeñas pero la cama es muy cómoda. Está situado al lado de un supermercado y varios lugares donde comer. El desayuno es muy bueno, con bastante variedad. El personal de recepción no habla español pero intentan entenderte como sea, fueron muy amables.

El agua caliente dura poco, a veces pasabamos un poco de frio para ducharnos. Asi que recomiendo duchas de 2 minutos!! Jajajaja

Der kunne godt være et ekstra stik eller noget på venstre side af sengen jeg ligger med ilt apparat og skulle benytte stikdåsen henne ved toilettet og så var det kolde kogte æg til morgenbuffeten samt en lidt mærkelig konsistens på de scrampelt æg som virkede som lidt pulveragtigt men alt i alt udenmærket ellers

Nice breakfast served each morning which was easy. Close to pickup for tour. And bar for the evening. Staff lovely and gracious.

I did not enjoy the room door needing a key to open from the inside. Seems like a safety concern. But that could be a normal France/ European way.

Center of town location excellent. Nearby and convenient to the tour pickup location. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in very late in the evening without any problems. I loved the historic feel and appearance of the Churchill, as well as the name. Great hotel for a good night's sleep too.

Excellent customer service from all the staff. Mattieu drove a group to Mont Saint Michel - excellent! The breakfast service is excellent along with a good variety to select. Love the scramble eggs.

I was in town for a tour of the Beaches of Normandy. The hotel was walkable from the train station. There were plenty of restaurant opportunities close. It was a great experience.
