My son and stayed in the twin deluxe room. Plenty of room and really practical for 20sqm The bakery downstairs is elite. The staff are wonderful, also speaking English. Great location near a beautiful park and about a 20 minute (easy walk) to downtown Shinjuku. Train stations and buses very close- just check the lines you want

We were on the top floor, we started our mornings early but the cleaner would come around 2:30 when we would come back to hotel. We ate at the restaurant on the last night. My main came out 15 minutes after my son had finished eating. It’s overpriced for what you get.

It was in a great area the rooms were bigger than some others but price was reasonable

The room constantly smelt of cigarette, which we found it very difficult to sleep all nights. When it was a nonsmoking room Room was very small, couldn’t move!

Das Frühstück war super, sowohl im Hotel selbst, als auch in der hoteleigenen Bakery. Personal immer freundlich, alles sauber.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein. Man hat kaum Platz für seinen Backpack. Mit Koffer wäre es wirklich schwierig.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and tge beds were comfortable. The location was also great for either walking or taking the metro. The onsite bakery was lovely

We were in a superior double and it felt quite cramped. The bathroom was also small, with nowhere to layout your toiletries.

Es ist weniger ein "nicht gefallen" und vielmehr etwas was man beachten sollte. Bei den normalen Räumen hat man, Tokyo-typisch, sehr kleine Zimmer. Mit grossen Koffern kann es da schnell eng werden. Wenn man froh wäre die Koffer immer offen zu haben oder mit mehr als zwei Koffern verreist empfiehlt es sich allenfalls ein grösseres Zimmer zu buchen.

The breakfast was fantastic, made with high quality and fresh ingredients. The onsite bakery was also bonus. Loved that there was a gym, although small it served its purpose. The park in the day is great little walking route to a nearby train station to take you into Tokyo. Also there’s a bus stop steps away from the entrance also takes you into Shibuya. The reception area was very helpful In transporting our luggage.

Only cons - not bad though, just our preference - everything closes early nearby and wish there was an onsen.

I asked very spontaneous if I could extend my stay for one more night. They wanted to have like €140 for that night. I’m thinking that was a quite high rate.

La propreté, la vie dans l’hôtel, la boulangerie à l’accueil, le lounge pour attendre.

Le seul bémol, c’est la taille des chambres. De plus, l’hôtel est près d’un arrêt de bus mais quand même un peu loin du centre de shinjuku (20 min de bus).

Posizione molto buona, 1km dalla metro. Aveva una bakery per fare colazione buonissima. Ha anche la bilancia per pesare le valige, molto utile

Tivemos uma excelente experiência no hotel! Tudo de ótima qualidade, desde a acomodação até o atendimento. O quarto era confortável, limpo e bem cuidado, e toda a equipe foi muito atenciosa e prestativa. A localização também é excelente. Foi uma estadia muito agradável e certamente recomendamos!

I would definitely stay here again! Although the rooms are quite small (to be expected in Japan) the hotel is very nice! Has a great bakery and restaurant. Everyone is so friendly. We loved our stay here

Die Lage war tiptop, 15 Minuten Fussweg bis zu Shinjuku und ein direkter Bus nach Shibuya.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein.

Super nice restaurant and lobby, nice employees as well, you get what you paid for.

The room was a little small for 2 people but manageable, and the location being at least a 10+ minute walk from any train station entrance was a bit of an inconvenience, but not the worst thing in the world.

L’hotel è in una buona posizione, in una zona tranquilla ma collegata da molti autobus alla stazione di Shinjuku o Shibuya. La camera era spaziosa e dotata di vari comfort. L’hotel dispone di spazi comuni e di una bakery all’interno dell’hotel davvero graziosa.

Il bagno era molto piccolo, anche per la media degli spazi del Giappone.

The location is very okay to explore Shinjuku area and also easy access to train station. This hotel has contemporary- art vibes. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant as “a la carte” and the taste was very good. The stuff is extremely very kind. Overall good experience. Hotel umbrellas and electricity plug adaptor converters (to EU plugs) was very nice touch for an European traveller like me.

In overall Japan, I know the smoking rooms are very closed spaces. in the hotel smoking room, please make the ventilation better and maybe also provide a heated tobacco/vape area Not much space to store your belongings in the queen size room. I am aware the most hotel rooms are small in Tokyo. I guess I expected more drawers etc in these Queen rooms that is not visible in the pictures. (Still manageable stay for up to 3 days)

La posizione è eccellente, a piedi al centro di shinjuko e alla stazione anche il ristorante all'interno dell'hotel e la bakery sono molto buoni peccato che la bakery apra un po troppo tardi per i turisti che escono presto la mattina per girare la città.

Siamo stati 3 notti e fanno le pulizie solo dopo il terzo giorno, sarebbe stato apprezzato anche solo la pulizia del bagno

L’hotel si trova a Shinjuku, ma fortunatamente non proprio a ridosso della stazione JR, una zona che può essere davvero molto caotica. La posizione per noi è stata quindi un buon compromesso: si rimane a Shinjuku, ma in una zona decisamente più tranquilla. Le camere sono piuttosto piccole, ma è una caratteristica abbastanza comune a Tokyo, soprattutto considerando la fascia di prezzo che avevamo scelto. Nel complesso, comunque, gli spazi erano adeguati alle nostre esigenze. La colazione è molto buona e abbiamo trovato davvero gentilissimo sia lo staff della reception sia quello della sala colazioni. Una delle cose che abbiamo apprezzato maggiormente è stata proprio l’atmosfera dell’hotel, molto giovane, vivace e internazionale. La colazione, pur essendo ottima, potrebbe però essere un po’ più varia: durante il soggiorno le proposte erano sostanzialmente sempre le stesse e, dopo diversi giorni, un po’ di varietà in più sarebbe stata gradita. Per chi invece non vuole usufruire della colazione dell’hotel, segnalo la panetteria presente all’interno della stessa struttura: davvero ottima, con una buona scelta di prodotti sia dolci che salati. Anche qui abbiamo trovato uno staff estremamente gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso, un hotel che ci è piaciuto molto, soprattutto per l’atmosfera, la gentilezza del personale e l’ambiente informale e internazionale.

In generale non abbiamo particolari aspetti negativi da segnalare. Come piccolo suggerimento, sarebbe comodo avere qualche distributore automatico in più all’interno della struttura. Anche la smoking room potrebbe essere un po’ più grande: quella presente è davvero molto piccola e, considerando che non è possibile fumare all’esterno della struttura, nei momenti di maggiore affluenza può risultare poco comoda.

The breakfast was amazing, with a cute little bakery. The staff was super friendly.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get a taxi because of the rain? Also there were a lot of hairs in de bathtub that weren’t ours upon arrival.

Perfect location

The hotel was very clean and tidy, room access passcode made it easy to get in and out of the room without need for a keycard. There is a bakery in-house as well as a bar and tapas lounge so there are plenty of food options available. It was also very easy and affordable for us to upgrade to a larger room.

The pillows were a bit lumpy and since there was only one per bed, no real option to change to a different one.

Zimmer zu klein, für den Preis. Ein größeres Zimmer (3m2) größer war den Preisaufschlag nicht wert. Zimmer sehr laut, jeden Koffer, jede Tür, jeden Schritt im Nachbarszimmer hört man durch die Wände. Kein Platz für Koffer oder Gewand.

It was a tidy hotel, with laundry and everything you needed. Has a good bakery in foyer. No key cards for door just type in code. Walkable from Shinjuku station - bus if have bags.

There wasn't much soundproofing so got loud at night. Could hear running, talking and people entering their door codes wrong. Staff are not very helpful they wouldn't help us by calling a restaurant to make a booking for us. Super busy common areas. Smallest of all the rooms we've stayed in Tokyo but made it work.

Everything is in one place, the staff are super friendly, the convenience of getting around was the best.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice are of Shinjuku since you're not in the busiest area but across a park. If you're staying in Shinjuku I would definitely recommend this hotel. The nearest train / subway station is nicely walkable and some bus stations are even closer and there's a Family Mart a few buildings down.

We booked the 17 sq meter room, which was larger than what other hotels in Tokyo offer, but still a pretty small room overall. Totally fair for the price though.

Did not even clean the cups in the room. The fitness center was very crowded no matter what time you came and now water or towels available there.

The Bed is the most uncomfortable bed in any hotels I’ve ever slept in. The big step outside of the bathroom is totally a safety hazard and the quality of the whole bathroom is very flimsy. Rooms are being cleaned every three days and within our stay was never cleaned. Very disappointed and will not return for sure.

cant help it that the bathrooms are raised quite high to get in for seniors. or that most std rooms could be a less cramped. and often with not much outlook, but this is an urban setting afterall. would have liked more countertop space or shelving of sorts at room entrance...the reception area at ground could do with a bit more lighting for us

We found The Knot was very good value for money, our accomodation. The location was very good with the parklands and access to the subway.

The atmosphere when you entered the building. A tapas bar on right and an artisan bakery on left, looks very attractive.

I liked that it was in a quiet part of town away from the main Shinjuku area. The bakery was very good and the staff were very helpful.

The walls are very thin and the room was very noisy with other guests. High price for limited space in room and noisy.

Only stayed in the city 2x nights so wanted somewhere with a great location for exploring and good facilities to share with my teenage daughter. Very clean modern and nicely designed spaces, glorious air conditioning!! Really nice shared spaces with wifi and bakery.

Sound proofing in rooms could be better (we could hear the snorer next door) but genuinely can't fault it otherwise. Had been aware of room size so we repacked and kept our second suitcase in the reception which was really helpful to navigate around a small room.

The rooms are very small, as they are in most Japanese hotels, so many guests congregate in the lobby at a big shared table. This table was not clean.

The Knot és un hotel elegant i modern amb una relació qualitat-preu (125€/nit per dues persones, esmorzar inclòs) excepcional. La situació és excel·lent: a Nishi-Shinjuku, a prop de dues estacions de metro i a quinze minuts a peu de l'estació i el barri de Shinjuku. A més, al davant hi ha un parc (sorpresa: a l'estiu, el cant de les cigales és eixordidor). L'esmorzar és excel·lent, encara que no compleix els meus dos criteris de luxe: cafè exprés (es pot demanar, però es paga a part) i suc de taronja acabat d'esprémer. El personal, especialment el de la cafeteria, és extraordinàriament amable.

La mida de l'habitació: és petita, però ja se sap, som al Japó. I més sorprenent que desagradable, el pany de la porta sembla de caixa forta: s'obre amb un codi, i ell sol passa la balda en tancar.

Szép a szálloda és jó helyen található. A szobák jól felszereltek. A hotel aljában van egy jó étterem és egy fantasztikus pékség, ahol rengeteg féle friss, nagyon finom szendvics és péksütemény kapható.

A 14 nm-es szoba elég szűk kialakítású 2 főnek. Nehéz volt böröndökkel elférni

The hotel was very nice, everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also really handy having a cafe and bakery downstairs.

I'm 6ft tall and the shower was really low and hard to use when I had to wash my hair. There was also a bulkhead over the shower so I couldn't stand up straight without hitting my head.

Great location, really hip vibes, there’s 2 restaurants and a bakery on site, has a lovely lounge area and a gym, it’s beautiful!! The rooms were very clean and comfortable bed.

If you are a tall person, be prepared to shower while cracking your neck down because the ceiling has an additional section right where you’d stay to shower which makes the space so much smaller. Bathroom is tiny but that’s to be expected!

Very narrow space around the bed between the bed and the TV - difficult to get to the window side / get into bed Plug points that looked damaged and my own charging plug kept losing power connection ( one under the TV) The height of the bath tub / shower - not disability friendly The drop in step down out of the bathroom - again not disability friendly My 86 year old mother found this very dangerous and difficult to manage

Rooms and facilities are great. The staff are exceptional and very helpful.

It was a bit further away from the Shinjuku train station than expected. Not too much of a problem except when we had a long day out and about. I would still choose to stay because the property and staff are great

I love the chilled and friendly vibe of the hotel and the many shared spaces you can use. Facilities are great with an added gym , laundry etc… Location is excellent.

A few customers think it’s ok to speak very loudly in corridors at night which only happened a couple of times in a nearly 3 weeks stay but did wake us up.
