Location
The staff service was poor, and the room service was also disappointing.

We had the deluxe king suite in the 12th floor overlooking the intersection. We were initially offered the 9th floor but my request for a higher floor with slightly better view was accommodated. Great room and views with floor to ceiling windows with screen and solid panel covering layers conveniently controlled electronically. Very comfortable bed, nice living room and bathroom, and I loved the closet accessible from both bedroom and bathroom sides. Excellent service all around- front desk, room service (lightening fast), and restaurant service all exceptional and very friendly. Great job by the housekeeping staff. Super accommodating and working with us on times when we were going to be out of the room and were able to clean as soon as we left every time. Spotlessly clean in both room and common facilities! Everything worked flawlessly. There was one of the elevators that was under repair and the elevator waits were a bit long. The breakfast buffet was delicious and worth it. The carved steak section was a real standout- delicious. I had an amazing Italian meal at Cornerstone. Awesome filet mignon with maybe the best reduction sauce I’ve ever had. I loved their take on the baked potato side. Great salad and pasta. The Timber Lounge in the lower level was a feast for the eyes and ears. Beautiful venue, and both the acoustic guitar player and the later all-ladies jazz ensemble were awesome! They book really great talent and it was free entry for hotel guests. I offered to buy one of the desks clocks from the room branded with the hotel name on it as a souvenir, but they sent me up one for free right before checkout as a gift. Nice touch, very appreciated. Nice gym with views, but the gym needed a lot more air conditioning- it was a bit warm for working out. Also a very clean pool with views overlooking the city, but be aware that wearing a swimming cap is required. Not sure if it is a cultural practice, a law, or just hotel policy but take note before going to the pool. Overall 10/10 experience and a real treat of a stay. Highly recommended!

Definitely one of the best Park Hyatt property we stayed in, particularly when it comes to service and attentiveness. Our family was also happy with the selection and the service received of the daily breakfast.
Was looking for to trying this Park Hyatt out, but if I'm honest was a little disappointed. Lobby is fairly small, so during busy check-in/out times plus with guests waiting for the elevators, it does get crowded. Room was nice, though could use a refresh. Our room was on the 14th floor facing COEX. Yes there is construction but fortunately the noise was pretty minimal and didn't disturb us too much at night. Floor to ceiling windows were cool, but interestingly there is no privacy/uv film and you get a clear view of the neighbors if the blinds are open. Also it didn't help when the sun is out the room gets hot and A/C at times struggled keeping room cool, so we ending up keeping blinds closed most of the time. Location is nice, right in front of Samseong subway station and an easy walk to COEX Mall, however with the massive construction there's a lot of traffic so if using a taxi plan accordingly. Main point of complaint, the elevator system is annoying. It's extremely slow, felt like had to wait a minimum of 5 plus mins for it to arrive after pressing the call button. Also getting from the rooms to where breakfast is makes zero sense. For example if your room is on the lower floors like 4-6, you have to take the elevator up to the lobby on the 24th floor and transfer to another elevator to go back down to the 2nd floor where breakfast is served.
From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel genuinely welcome. The service was consistently warm, professional, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every interaction reflected the high standards that I have come to expect from the Hyatt brand. The room was beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and offered stunning views of Seoul. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent quality and a relaxing atmosphere that made every morning enjoyable. One of the hotel's greatest strengths is its location. Situated in the heart of Gangnam, it is surrounded by some of Seoul's finest restaurants, shopping, and attractions, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. As a Hyatt Globalist, I truly appreciated the recognition and hospitality I received throughout my stay. Park Hyatt Seoul combines understated luxury, exceptional comfort, and outstanding service, making it a hotel I would gladly return to on my next visit to Seoul. Thank you to the entire Park Hyatt Seoul team for making this another memorable Hyatt experience. I look forward to staying with you again.
The entire team at the Park Hyatt was exceptionally professional, and the service was outstanding. I have been a loyal guest for many years, and the consistency of the experience continues to impress me. Thank you all for your warm hospitality and continued excellence.
Location, it doesn’t get more central than that. The view from my room was something impressive. The wow effect is absolutely there. Great rooms, big and spacious, modern and with all amenities and more. The bathrooms are a statement. Top 3 of best 5 star hotels I have been to. Breakfast was really good and so was the room service. I would say room service breakfast was some of the best I ever had. Staff is attentive, nice and helpful.
Great location if attending an event at COEX. Beautiful and comfortable guest rooms, comfortable beds, huge bathrooms. Wonderful and helpful staff. Only annoyance is having to go to 24th floor lobby in order to access guest rooms. Lots of shopping and food across the street. Close to airport limousine bus stop and public transportation. I had a triangle shaped room on the back side of the hotel.
I was looking forward to my stay at Park Hyatt and booked the hotel on the basis that it was walking distance to Coex. Overall feel of the hotel is that it needs some attention areas look tired and in need of maintenance. The thing I was most disappointed in was the noise. Despite being on the 18th floor the sound coming in from the roadside was so loud and meant that for the entire 6 nights I didn’t have a good sleep. I spoke to guest services many times who advised wearing ear plugs. This is not a successful remedy as the ear plugs just kept falling out my ears.
Las vistas
No me sentí con el lujo de un 5 estrellas
Libation close to Coex
Annoying reception and lobby needed to swap lists and wait often a long time Lounge access was poor value, no perk really getting that
The view of the room
To much construction around the building
Great stay. Excellent staff. Nice room and BF. Gangnam area slightly far from the tourist sites.
I had one of the best hotel experiences thanks to the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Their attention to detail and excellent service made my stay memorable. This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Seoul, and I look forward to staying here again.
Beautiful hotel! Rooms are very spacious and immaculate. We had a great view from our floor to ceiling windows of Gangnam Square. The staff was wonderful. Ella, as well as many others, made us feel so welcomed and ensured our stay was very special. The buffet breakfast, the gym and the pool were all standouts, Great location, as it’s very easy to travel to different neighborhoods from the subway station right outside the entrance.
We found the property to be beautifully maintained (and quiet throughout the day). What made a huge difference was how considerate and helpful everyone was. Our room was beautiful and all our requests were promptly met with kindness. It’s one of our best experiences at a hotel and employees are a cut above the ritz and the four seasons in the US. Highly recommend if you want to experience top notch hospitality.
Best hotel in Gangnam, and the staff were all well-educated and greeted guests with smiles. Lovely hotel. It is the best hotel in Gangnam, and the staff are well-educated and greet guests with smiles. It's a lovely hotel.
Got a suite facing construction and the staff were prompt to help me get a better room. Everything is in solid condition and staff were very polite and amazing. Location is great too!
We had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Seoul. Traveling with a 4 -year-old can be tiring, but the team made us feel so welcome by granting us an early check-in after our long morning flight. The next day, we had to check out at 4:00 AM. Since we couldn't eat at the restaurant, the hotel thoughtfully packed an amazing and rich breakfast for us. Their attentiveness and care made our trip so much easier. Thank you for taking such good care of our family!
We absolutely loved our 5-night stay at Park Hyatt. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and very accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and were always willing to help with anything we needed. The amenities were excellent and really added to the overall experience. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great selection and was a nice way to start each day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Park Hyatt to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and high-quality hotel experience. We would definitely stay here again.
First time to Seoul! Excellent hotel in a great area step s to train and amazing malls! Wonderful staff amazing views of the surrounding area from the rooms! Front desk and bell staff top notch!! Lovely hotel great location great access! Would highly recommend! Mr Tony at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us- expedited our room and checked on us during stay to make sure we were having great experience! Entire experience team and staff all wonderful! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Seoul!
To be clear: all of the drawbacks are building based -- the service and food all are truly 5 stars!! Pros: 1. Great location! Right across from a subway stop and adjacent to COEX mall which has an amazing food court, shopping etc. 2. Amazing gym facility/spa, and a GORGEOUS pool which clearly is an adult pool so the people complaining about how it is "toddler-unfriendly" should try taking their toddlers to a bar sometime and see how that goes. Come on, people!! 3. WONDERFUL staff who give every interaction with a guest their all. A+++++ plus even more ++++! 4. The breakfast is AMAZING. Absolutely delicious. The only other meal we had was room service bibimbap which also was 100% delicious!!! 5. The bar is lovely and they have music, which is fun! Cons: 1. The rooms are, frankly, not that nice. Sad but true. We had three rooms -- they put one of us on the very bottom floor (4) with a "view" of the parking lot and right next to the elevator. One of the other rooms was a weird triangle shape that made it very awkward to move around the bed. And the bathrooms are so weird -- there is no door at all to the bathroom so it is very...open when it comes to showers and potty time. The "powder room" has a door but it is right next to the sink :| 2. the elevators are an exercise in frustration. There is basically a tiny little foyer on the ground floor and the lobby is on the 24th floor. To get to the guest rooms from the floor with breakfast or from the ground floor where you enter, you need to go up to the 24th floor and then change elevators. To get to breakfast you need to go up to the 24th floor and change. It is a pain and I am surprised it is not mentioned more in the comments because every time we took the elevator it is ALL anyone was talking about as we all waited around for the elevators. Just being honest! I think if you had a nice room on a higher floor with maybe a view, it would mitigate some of the other inconveniences. I wish I could give it 3 1/2 stars...3 is not enough but 4 may be too many.
The building, bright and spacious rooms
Rooms are bit outdated
Excellent hospitality. Wonderful accommodations. Staff were very amazingly helpful. We're plan our return to Seoul next year and will likely stay at the Park Hyatt.
الترتيب والموقع

High end. Wonderful attentive staff. Helpful concierge.
While the floor design creates a special atmosphere, having the lobby on the top floor and a separate elevator to the guest rooms from the lobby going down is quite inconvenient for getting in and out of the hotel quickly. A bit annoying when in a bit of a rush.
The Park Hyatt Seoul Pros: - has some amazing people working there - applied a suite upgrade and enjoyed our suite - breakfast was wonderful - subway was right there when you stepped outdoors Cons - poor restaurants esp Timber line - Location is in the midst of construction which could be bothersome for some. We actually slept ok but for many the sound of construction starting at 3 am would be bothersome. Walking out of the hotel and even crossing the street was impeded. - no globalist recognition beyond being thanked by the lovely woman who check us in - management at no time greeted us or asked about our stay except one Manager on Duty who was problematic We didn’t enjoy our stay in Seoul and we realized objectively it was due to the property. We will give the city another try in the future but it won’t involve any revisiting of this property
Amazing room, clean, great service as expected of a 5 star hotel.
It was a great shame that the unit itself and the toilet were facing other units, which defeated the purpose of the floor to ceiling windows. Rating would’ve been a 10 otherwise.
Love this hotel when in Seoul and will keep coming back for business. The restaurant on the second floor was lovely too. The rooms are elegant and super spacious and I love their bathrooms.
The staff friendliness was outstanding, particularly all the bellmen! Hotel was tidy, including the room. Meals need to be improved to reach the "Park" Hyatt level.
Everything was superb 👌 Got early chevk in by 9 am Thanks to Oscar for rooms sending me beautiful fruits and chocolates Very nice property Staff is amazing
Have to think ..
Our family had a fantastic stay including my young children. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Melissa was very attentive to all our matters and we really appreciated her follow up. The front desk was also very helpful when we needed assistance. You can't beat the location of the hotel since it sits on top of the best subway line (green) and is across the street from Coex. We were aware of the ongoing construction but it didn't bother us (you can hear noise but it wasn't so loud as to be disruptive). If you have a room facing Coex, the view is amazing. Looking forward to staying again!
Prime location, great amenities, and easy access to public transportation. The room had an amazing view and great service from the staff. Will definitely be back next time we visit!
Overall hotel is slightly below expectations. Some renovations ongoing but noise was acceptable and ear plugs provided. Warmth and hospitality was average and customer service was slightly below what you expect at the Park Hyatt. Conceirge was attentive however. Slightly under whelming if you are expecting typical Park Hyatt experience.
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel with extremely lovely, professional, helpful staff. I felt very cared for, especially when I was in a rush to leave for the airport bus stop (staff will call a taxi for you to get to the the city airport terminal, which is close as the crow flies but because of construction and intersection design, may be annoying to walk if you have luggage and it happens to be raining). The bathroom is WONDERFUL with an extra deep tub in the shower, but best suited for solo or couples travel as there is a glass panel in the shower visible from the bedroom without any option to cover. There are thoughtful amenities in the room that were appreciated and very much in line with the Park Hyatt brand. Cons: There is extensive construction occurring outside the hotel (transportation infrastructure) which wasn’t communicated at booking. I had requested a quiet room and didn’t hear anything, so this may not affect your stay. I did see that the rooms are aging with poorly repaired areas of damage (see photo of closet door handle), scratched up floors, etc. My main gripe was the shape of the room I was assigned, as it felt quite cramped and was a bizarre triangular shape. I was not prepared for this room as the website doesn’t show any photos of this room and it felt like it was half the size of a regular room. I’ve included a diagram of the floor, the room happens to be situated at an awkward choke point in the design. I am an Explorist (not the highest status) and did not expect an upgrade at this very busy hotel, but also was surprised to be assigned such a tiny room, which truly felt like a downgrade. Admittedly, I booked this reservation the day prior and was told at check-in that the hotel was fully booked and there was no other option for another room, but photos of this style/type of room should really be up on the website so there are no surprises. I would not recommend this room for any parties greater than 1. This was an unwelcome introduction as it was my first time at this hotel. I think if the location is convenient for you (Samseoung Station exit number 1 is literally outside the front door), go for it as it is a beautiful hotel with great staff! However, this was a disappointment after a fabulous stay at the Andaz Seoul Gangnam. If future business stays required me to stay at this hotel, I would request anything but an -04 room.
a classy option in Seoul for Hyatt loyalists. smaller and more boutique than the Parnas/Intercontinental across the street, but still having a good location next to Coex. The food and beverage options here are great if a bit smaller than the comparable options at hotels like Shilla / Four Seasons. Construction noise can be a bit much at times if you're facing the subway and on a lower floor, but there's nothing the hotel can do about it and this should hopefully pass in time. I would come back again for sure.
We were greeted very warmly by the staff. We enjoyed our stay very much. Park Hyatt will be our choice of Hotel for our future visit to Korea
One of the best in Seoul for sure, it’s the highest end in Hyatt group Good location in Gangnam with other hotels, luxury malls and posh restaurants. But Gangnam under heavy construction Lobby and rooms are well designed and luxurious. Accessibility is complicated as selected lifts go to the room, lobby and restaurant . The suite only has 1 toilet and 1 sink. Great Le labo toiletries Gym very nice albeit only medium size Breakfast very good, wrote a seperate review 9/10
Having visited Park Hyatt Seoul annually for over ten years, we have built a deep connection with the property. It is because we care for the hotel that I wanted to share some constructive observations to help maintain the high standards we have come to expect. Property Maintenance & Hardware While we noted the partial renovations from a few years ago, the guest rooms are beginning to show their age. To remain competitive with Seoul’s evolving luxury market, the property would benefit from a comprehensive makeover, similar to the recent, impressive transformation at Park Hyatt Tokyo. Atmosphere & Odor Issues We noticed persistent odors in key areas that detracted from the luxury experience: * 15th Floor: A distinct "burnt linen" smell in the corridor near the utility room. * The Timber House: Noticeable musty/sewer-like odors in certain sections. Dining Experience – Cornerstone After an exceptional dinner in 2025, we chose a private room for a birthday celebration this year. While the "Primavera Nobile" course was generally well-received, the dessert (Ricotta Cream-filled Choux) was a significant disappointment. Unlike the light, crisp pastry we’ve enjoyed at PH Milan, these were soggy with stale-tasting cream. Unfortunately, all seven guests felt this ended an otherwise lovely meal on a poor note. Commendations Despite these concerns, the service remains a highlight. We would like to extend our special appreciation to: * Erin Kim: Who was wonderful in looking after every small detail of our stay. * Jake Park: Whose warm smile and friendly greeting we look forward to every year. We share this in the hope of seeing these areas addressed by our next visit.
The location
Small hotel, and no good hotel facilities
Love love love Park Hyatt , they are so sweet to prepare the birthday surprise and I love it so much !
Even though it has been almost a year since our stay at Park Hyatt Seoul, I still remember what a wonderful experience we had. The hotel was very clean, beautifully maintained, and the location is excellent for exploring Seoul. I would also like to give special recognition to Bentley, who welcomed guests at the entrance and opened the doors. He greeted us warmly every time we arrived and made us feel truly welcome. His kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. Great hotel, wonderful service, and we would happily stay here again.
Park Hyatt Seoul is centrally located in Gangnam -- so basically part of the "new city" as compared to the "old city" on the other side of the Han River. It is similar to Park Hyatts that may you have experienced in other countries. The closest I put it to is Park Hyatt Toronto. Service is top notch, and absolutely no complaints. I had the largest corner suite room, with more TVs than I needed, but the Beosound *and* Bose soundbars were nice touches. The bathroom has heated flooring and double vanities, which are always appreciated. The toilet has a washlet -- it's not a Toto, though -- and so a bit inferior (splitting hairs?). I was there on business, and appreciated the large desk with plentiful outlets. Similarly, there were outlets to the sides of both vanities, as well as outlets above both bedroom nightstands. It's little things like this that can really make or break a stay. Every is super, super nice. Laundry service, non-express, was in by 9 or 11 am (I can't remember which) and out by 6 pm. When I travel for business, I go for "easy" and "seamless" -- I want everything to just work right, and I have no complaints with the Park Hyatt in this respect. I received an email ahead of my reservation that due to construction I may hear noise at times in the room. I was on a lower floor -- the 8th floor -- and frankly couldn't tell that there was much if any noise. Maybe 10-20 minutes a day? Absolutely not a problem. I visit Korea at least once a year, and this is my go-to hotel. Large rooms, for a reasonable price. Oh, one last thing -- I'm vegan, and they cater to vegans. There's actually a complete vegan in-room menu. Very unusual for an Asian hotel. My personal opinion with Park Hyatt is that it's a hair under Four Seasons, and two hairs under Mandarin Oriental. That's not a negative, as those are both fine hotels. If you are expecting "over the top" service at Park Hyatt, you may be disappointed. But if you are expecting solid, luxury service, it's your hotel. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Great location with the circle loop metro / underground station at doorstep
Didn’t like how you have to go from your floor to the top floor ( reception) then back down again.

The facility, service, amenities and design
Could not find much
I was in Gangnam for a couple of weeks in February specifically to get some work done on my face, as a middle aged man losing my battle against gravity. I could not have chosen a better property for my recovery stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While definitely not the newest property, every space is very well maintained. But what really made our stay stand out was the staff. Everyone from the bell desk to housekeeping were so helpful with our requests as my mobility was a bit compromised in the post op period. The concierge, specifically Ms. Lee Yeojin, really went out above and beyond to accommodate our random needs, such as finding a place to purchase a wedge shaped pillow or finding a hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinic open on a Sunday. The manager allowed me to take my breakfast in my room as my face was a swollen wreck for the first few days after surgery. We really felt looked after by everyone at the hotel. A true 5* experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Seoul, hopefully in a more fun capacity!
Beautiful establishment located in the heart of Gangnam Street just steps away to the main mall and attractions. Room is super user friendly the weather control unit is the best ive ever had in any hotel in my whole life! Nice bathroom and view, I didn’t try any of the outlets but room service was 10/10! What makes this hotel really special is the incredible dedicated team they’re blessed to have. Very special thank you to Elena, Jo Leo and everyone at concierge for making my short stay a very special one.
I loved my stay at the Park Hyatt Seoul. I arrived very early in the morning and they allowed my to check in to my room early, which I really appreciated after a 15 hour flight. The staff was professional and welcoming. My room was amazing and honestly, it was hard to gather the energy to leave such a nice room! But with only 3 days in Seoul, I showered and headed straight out. The CBD (central business district) location wasn't ideal for the sightseeing I was doing, but the subway is super efficient and right outside the front door of the hotel. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Seoul.
Mixed bag. As a Globalist, I default to Hyatt where possible, and the Park Hyatt Seoul has an excellent reputation, so I chose it for a five-night stay. Rooms – Beautiful, spacious rooms with excellent bathrooms, bathtubs, and city views. Blackout blinds are very effective, and the building’s slim design means very few rooms per floor, which adds to the sense of privacy. That said, higher floors are essential. The small premium for rooms above the 15th floor is absolutely worth it. I voluntarily downgraded from a suite on the 9th floor to a Deluxe room on the 22nd—and it was a clear upgrade. The Deluxe double rooms on higher floors are actually nicer than the lower-floor suites. On lower levels, traffic and construction noise are noticeable. Service – Professional, polished, and consistent with expectations of a top-tier Seoul hotel. Location – Samseong/Gangnam itself is nothing special. Fine if you’re here for (financial) business, but tourists should expect to rely heavily on public transport. On the plus side, Line 2 of the subway (the central loop) is directly at the entrance, which makes getting around easy. Spa / Fitness – The pool is attractive and offers good views, but it’s shallow and on the small side. The fitness center is solid, and the spa area with sauna and hot/cold pools is pleasant, though more functional than memorable. Breakfast / Food – Unfortunately, this is the hotel’s biggest weakness and the main reason it falls short of five stars. Breakfast can become extremely busy after 09:00–09:30, with waits of up to 25–30 minutes for a table—unacceptable at this level. If you’re seated in one of the quieter back rooms or corners, the experience is fine; elsewhere it’s crowded and chaotic. The “freshly squeezed juices” are actually tetrapak juices, though you can order fresh ones. The à-la-carte egg/breakfast menu is limited. Service is friendly and efficient overall, though a few orders were forgotten. Breakfast ends at 10:00 on weekdays and 10:30 on weekends—both should be extended by at least 30 minutes to better distribute demand. In-room dining is poor. Across two rooms, we tried several options: spaghetti (bland), burgers (oddly soapy), and Asian dishes (adequate at best for the price). This was the worst food experience I’ve had across more than 25 Park Hyatt stays worldwide. We ended up eating at the nearby McDonald’s more often than we ever expected. Conclusion – I would stay here again for the rooms—on a high floor only—but the food and breakfast experience prevent this Park Hyatt from earning a five-star review.
This was the most amazing stay! I surprised my Fiancée with a trip for her Birthday. She was extremely pleased with our stay. The employees were so sweet. They wished her a happy birthday. They were accommodating to all of our needs. Amazing hospitality! The room was immaculate with the perfect view of the city. The amenities were amazing. Our favorite was the Timber House. We love live music and every performance was amazing. They even sang Happy Birthday to my Fiancée. Big thanks to Larry, the bartender there. He curated the best cocktails and made our nights with his amazing energy. Very foreigner friendly. We’ve stayed at a few hotels in Seoul. Overall this was by far the best! We will be back.
No complaints
Always amazing to be back at my favorite hotel in Seoul. Park Hyatt Seoul truly feels like a home away from home. I love the beautiful wooden floors, the truly high ceilings, and the stunning view overlooking COEX. The design feels warm, elegant, and timeless. The staff are always welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. With the updated breakfast and consistent top-tier service, it remains the absolute best hotel in Seoul. Highly recommend!!
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Seoul many times over the last couple of years and it is my go-to hotel in Seoul. I have always looked forward to its warm and elevated experience and consider it my home away from home. Hyatt member benefits are always consistent which is important to me as a top-tier Globalist. The highlights are the deep soaking tub available in every room type and breakfast buffet. The bathroom and bedrooms have a great view and the decour is "quiet simplistic luxury." Also love the granite floor in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet has excellent options for western and Korean cuisines and staff are very proactive and attentive. Cannot wait to return.
Thanks to Billy, who assisted us at check-in, our stay started on such a positive note—we immediately felt genuinely welcomed. His professionalism and exceptionally kind manner made a strong and lasting impression on us. Over the past several years, we have typically stayed at the nearby Parnas Hotel whenever visiting Seoul. However, after this experience, we truly feel that we would like to choose Park Hyatt for our future visits instead. This decision is largely due to Billy’s outstanding service and attitude. In addition, the room service and guest services were consistently comfortable and attentive throughout our stay. As this visit took place shortly after surgery, we chose Park Hyatt over Parnas primarily due to concerns about carpeted flooring. Yet beyond the flooring, every aspect of our stay at Park Hyatt was more pleasant and reassuring. Please be sure to extend our sincere compliments and appreciation to Billy. He truly made our stay memorable.
Incredible views, amazing room (especially the bathroom - wonderful soaking tub and the huge wet room + amazing natural light for THE best make-up application ever!), super clean, great service, delicious breakfast, convenient location to Coex Mall... we will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you are visiting Seoul!
As always the hotel , staff and service impressed on all levels . The aesthetic and the functionality of the rooms never get old . Food always fantastic . Looking forward to my next stay .
Lovely Park Hyatt hotel that lives up to its reputation for wonderful service and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety of international and local cuisines and fresh fruit. Subway station is right outside front entryway of hotel, so is very convenient. Floor to ceiling windows with electric shades with lovely vies overlooking city
One of the nicest properties I've stayed at in Asia. We were offered a complimentary upgrade to a premium suite which was incredibly spacious (with a separate living area, bedroom area, and massive bathroom). The amenities (spa, gym, pool) were exquisite. They provide Le Labo branded toiletries in bathrooms and Aesop toiletries in the spa. These small but effective details and offerings made our stay here feel so luxurious.
早餐好吃!
As a Hyatt Globalist for over 12 years with extensive experience staying at top-tier hotels worldwide, I was very disappointed with the service at Park Hyatt Seoul. The overall experience fell well below what I expect from the Park Hyatt brand. I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday and informed the hotel in advance. I was told that a suite upgrade would be provided. However, when I arrived at 3:00 p.m., the suite was not ready and I was told it would be available around 4:30 p.m. The staff offered me a downgrade to a regular room for immediate check-in, which I found unusual, so I chose to return later. When I came back at 4:30 p.m., the suite was still not ready, and I ultimately waited until around 5:00 p.m. to check in. During this extended wait, the staff were unfriendly and disengaged. I was not offered a place to sit or any refreshments, which is typically standard at comparable Hyatt properties in similar situations. The staff appeared focused on their screens rather than acknowledging guests or showing any sense of care. I also asked whether an alternative premier suite might be available due to the delay but was told this would require an additional charge, with no flexibility shown. While the room prepared with a small birthday cake and the breakfast itself was nice, the service experience was deeply disappointing. During a recent two-week trip to Asia, I stayed at several other Hyatt properties, all of which provided significantly better service. Unfortunately, Park Hyatt Seoul did not live up to Hyatt’s top-tier standards, and I do not plan to return unless the location leaves no alternative.
I love the layout of these rooms - lots of usable space, lighting and temp controls next to the bed, spacious and bright bathroom. The location is good for CoEx, staff are friendly, and the breakfast is very good quality with a broad range of options. The Le Labo bath products are lovely. Wifi very fast. The hotel is starting to show some age in places. The Toto toilet seems like a lower end model, and the hair dryer needs upgrading. All the analog clocks show different times (in addition to being unnecessary) The gym is only open 6am-10pm, which is limiting (especially for people with jetlag). Also, I was told sneakers were required and asked to leave the gym and go rent some, even though my personal trainer advises I lift weights barefoot. and someone else was in crocs. Frustrating. There is a ton of construction around the hotel. The windows are well-insulated but some noise gets through. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a higher floor.
I like that it was clean, location was perfect (easy 10 min walk to Coex mall), service was impeccable . Everyone from the bell service to the concierge, reception and the duty manager were very willing to please and go above and beyond what is expected to delight the guest.

I stay a lot. and enjoy the spacious rooms, amenities, spa, and the food. from cornerstones breakfast and timber lounges drinks adn entertainment is an awesome valve in a perfect location
We had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Seoul with my parents. The location is excellent, conveniently close to COEX Mall and the City Airport Terminal, and the complimentary taxi service for guests was a great added benefit. Although I can’t mention individual staff names, every team member we encountered was professional, warm, and genuinely caring. From the very beginning, the welcome was excellent. The front desk proactively offered early check-in, and the staff consistently anticipated our needs — including clearly explaining Hyatt member benefits (even as a basic Discoverist member) before we had to ask. This made our stay feel effortless and truly relaxing. The breakfast was also very enjoyable — compact in size but thoughtfully curated with high-quality selections. The sauna, while small, was more than enough for me to relax after my morning workouts, and the gym was excellent. For dining options, if you’d like to enjoy an authentic Korean fermented soybean stew, there is a great local restaurant just around the corner at a very reasonable price. In addition, COEX Mall is easily accessible via the underground walkway, offering countless restaurant choices, as well as food courts in the nearby Hyundai Department Store. Overall, the proactive service and heartfelt hospitality truly set this hotel apart. We felt genuinely cared for and would happily return.

On my second visit to Park Hyatt Seoul, this time with Globalist status, the service went above and beyond my expectation. I had stayed at other luxury hotels in the interim, including at other Park Hyatts and even at this location last year (which I remember fondly and is the reason I booked it again this year), and somehow they still managed to exceed my expectations. The concierge was helpful with restaurant booking information, and even helped us secure train tickets to Busan and back, so we didn't have to fiddle with trying to get a foreign credit card accepted on the korail site or go through a third party site. The valet downstairs stored many of our bags while we did a weekend trip to Busan and returned everything to us packaged even more nicely than when we left it with them (they had placed my already packaged souvenir in a separate bag marked fragile without my asking them or even hinting, and my coat was hung in a Park Hyatt garment bag not just for their safekeeping, but also for me to take with me to the airport). I have had similar amazing experiences at other Park Hyatt properties as well, most recently in Kyoto. They really just unburden you of everything as soon as you arrive, and ensure that you are fully taken care of until you are absolutely beyond their reach (aka they help load everything into your taxi to ensure it is properly stored for the ride and thoroughly instruct the taxis so they know exactly whom in your party is going to which terminal with which bags). You will also find this property to be a great value. Finally, despite not being centrally located, Samseong station entrance is right outside the front door, so even with extreme weather conditions you can easily get around without much trouble.
All the staff were amazing. We were on a flight arriving very early and they were able to check us in at midday. Everyone is very helpful and smiley - the bellboys and girls, front of house, lounge staff, bar staff. Concierge arranged a whole bunch of shared and private tours for us, which were all great.
The speakeasy bar in the basement had very loud (too loud) music on Thursday and we were told by staff we could only sit on a certain table if we bought a bottle. No one was enjoying the loud music, you couldn’t talk to your friends. For this reason it was half empty, please have a rethink what you are trying to do here. The day before was nice as it was a violinist and the right level of background music. I personally didn’t think the cocktail quality stood up to the £16 price tag tbh.
I had a truly relaxing solo stay at Park Hyatt Seoul. The highlight of my experience was the staff – especially a kind manager who helped me when I forgot my earphones. I had only just mentioned it to the concierge downstairs when I was invited back upstairs, where the manager kindly reassured me and even offered a complimentary tea while they searched. It turned a stressful moment into a lovely memory. I also want to mention Lilly at the front desk, who was warm and professional at check-out. The room had a breathtaking view, the rooftop pool was beautiful, and both the room service and spa food were delicious. I also appreciated the complimentary welcome wine in the room. Overall, I felt cared for and at ease. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for a luxurious and personal experience.
Really beautiful hotel with amazingly attentive staff. I would recommend highly recommend for events or business travellers. Location: However for leisure, this hotel is just slightly too out of the way from key areas in Gangnam, requiring a taxi or subway station to get generally anywhere interesting that isn't a mall. Much of Gangnam's best is about 10-20 minutes away via car or subway. Rest of Seoul is 45 minutes - 1 hour away! Room: We booked a standard king room, was asked which direction we would like to face and was told this hotel does not do free upgrades regardless of your hotel status. We got assigned an amazingly large room but it was very empty, no chaise/couch as advertised and so we swapped to a smaller room ironically with a chaise. Staff: Some of the most friendly/helpful staff I've ever come across at any hotel anywhere in the world. Billy was super patient with us and found us the best room he could manage without breaking the rules.
Built in 2020 during the covid years , this is a new and gorgeous property, befitting the Park Hyatt brand. Beautiful lobby with sculptures, ponds, monster carp The suite equally nice of course with modern amenities and le labo toiletries. Even the workdesk has 3 different power sockets for whichever country you’re from Gym is medium sized and good Breakfast at the chinese restaurant and wrote a seperate review One of the best hotels in all of China.
