Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Hospital.
The refrigerator to work, the air conditioner could not be controlled, the collection of people sleeping by the front door in the morning.
Not much.
Really dated. Very overpriced for what you get. Muggy, no air in the hotel. Felt quite uncomfortable invading a Women’s shelter. That’s something I would have appreciated knowing in advance. The residents weren’t the issue. The issue was not being aware that it Is a woman’s shelter.
Close location to the downtown and nearby restaurants.
Lots of junkies around the hotel and on the near streets. It did not feel very safe, especially during evenings.
Nothing.
This is not a hotel, it’s a homeless shelter. I’m not sure why Booking is allowing this place to be rented. There were multiple drug users outside, and a guy literally shot up and nodded off in front of me. I didn’t even make it inside.

Nada
Lugar parece moradia , não é hotel
Clean simple hotel in downtown. Very pleasant receptionist
Repairs to entrance doors looked unprofessional
Location was excellent for our purpose (appt at hospital). Very nice staff. Clean and simple room. We were not there to lounge or spend time in the hotel -- just wanted a decent place to.sleep. We didnt use the kitchenette but it was very clean and very well equipped Beautiful park right next door.
A/c was quite noisy (but worked well on a day of record heat and humidity!)
Having place for parking in the same place. Close to downtown.
Environment. And some people smoking on the front and back of the building. Noise A/C.
Lage sehr im Ghetto, Zimmer sehr veraltet.
La dame à la réception était vraiment gentille
Close to the TTC streetcars. Like 5 minute walk. Close to shopping and restaurants and coffee shops.
When returning late at night, there were many drug addicts near the hotels parking lot and entrance. Sketchy neighbourhood after dark. Just get an Uber to the front door. I’d stay again.
Super helpful staff and amazing views of the Toronto skyline. 10 minutes walk to Street Car stop. It is good value for money.
Not the fanciest, but a great little hotel off the main drag and in a quiet community. Close to good restaurants and parking right at the hotel. Out door parking but everything is monitored. The rooms were small, but had everything. Microwave, stove top, kitchen sink, dishes and utensils for 3 people, TV, air conditioner (little noisy). Staff were great, smiles and helpful.
Air conditioner was a little noisy, bed was was a little small.
The only positive thing I can say was the 2 staff were very kind. The room was very outdated but it was clean
The fact it was a shelter!!! And people were doing drugs at the entrance. I couldn't open a window because the people were screaming non-stop. I didn't feel safe at all. I can't believe I paid over $250 plus parking to stay in a shelter. I was actually planning on contacting booking.com to see what can be done about this.
Due to FIFA gouging and greed we had minimal options financially for a room, stayed at the Hilton in January for about $250/ night, it’s now $1600!😡, my husband had surgery scheduled at Toronto Western early in the morning and an early morning follow-up appointment the next day, we had no choice but to stay in the city. The hotel was 5 minutes away from hospital so location was good, Uber was cheaper. The hotel itself is very old and out of date but clean and relatively quiet except for the constant sirens and people hanging around outside, strong odour of maijuana outside, no amenities, front door was locked at all times, needed a key to get in, the one bed was so noisy that when my husband moved it jolted me awake, room was very small so no room for a comfortable chair to sit on. Given the circumstances we were thankful for the room and the friendliness of everyone. As long as I live I will NEVER patronize a Hilton Hotel anywhere, again!!
Is near queen street
This place is full of junkies. They practically live there and openly smoke crack right at the entrance.
nothing
My experience was very disappointing. The receptionist was very unpleasant and unwelcoming from the moment I arrived. The room, as well as the hotel in general, seemed very old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Honestly, for the price I paid, I expected much better.
Horrible neighbourhood with drug addicts and homeless people hanging out just outside the front door all day. Although the neighbourhood location was very central and convenient, the horrific human tragedies at the front door makes it so we would never use it again. The room was clean and basic, double bed and single bed with a small kitchenette was convenient. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Parking was cheap and convenient where we could use it even the day we checked out.

Nothing It says coffee making and it was not provided. No drinking water bottle, which is standard in hotels. Basically it is s bad hotel in all aspect, I travel world over and what unpaid seems like rip off.
Complete change in management and know off what amenities and service should is provided by other hotels ranked best.
Given the presentation of the property, the rooms were well above expectations. The process of getting to the room seemed sketchy but the rooms were quite nice once we were in them. They're quite suitable for a lengthier stay, quite clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Has a kitchenette, the wifi is fine, the TV is good and there are a fair number of channels.
The exterior is a bit sketchy; it's clearly a converted apartment building that still hosts some long-term tenants. This is understandable enough, given the location just south of Kensington, but people should know what to expect. Getting into the building was confusing; the entryway looks like an apartment building and there's no indication on what to do upon arrival. My daughter and I unsure as to what to do, I was in the process of trying to find the hotel's number when two members of the staff walked by and inquired somewhat shortly about what I was doing there. When I indicated that I'd booked a room they said they didn't have keys and walked away. The manager came by shortly and let us in. The check-in process afterwards was straightforward, but getting into the property was somewhat difficult.
room was simple but clean, sufficient and comfortable bathroom was basic and a little worn but adequate
location was a little far from our central downtown activities
Achei terrivel!
Muy limpio y con opciones de cocina
Insects in the room. Carpet dirty. Everything was very old. Noise from the fridge. Bed uncomfortable
Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and trinity bellwoods park. I liked the parking lot and also the kitchenette that was available in the hotel room. The staff were very nice and there was always someone at the front desk.
I didn’t like that the hotel was surrounded by a lot of homeless people. This is out of anyone’s control however, for new tourists visiting Toronto for the first time, it might be a little bit unsettling.
The elevator and the water temperature
The staff were very nice. The room was clean and quiet. There were no issues of any kind. I would stay again.
Small hotel in residential neighborhood. Adjacent to large park and several blocks to shops and restaurants. Not a luxury experience but more than acceptable when considering Toronto's overpriced hotel & short-term rental market. Probably pleasant during spring and summers. Kept clean & everything works.
I always worry when a plunger is kept next to the toilet.
We had a great stay. The room had really good facilities and a lovely view!
It’s a little bit old.
Everything was a little dated but I was just sleeping there and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Excellent location, clean, good staff
Noise was an issue. Lots of homeless and mental health issues outside screaming all night in that area.
Very convenient for the hospital and nice park
Homeless women at first scared us but they were all very polite and nice to us
many people outside doing drugs
Friendly service at the front desk.
Wasn't really able to control the air conditioning except turning it on or off.
It was very nice and I enjoyed my stay! Beautiful experience
Location, clean, quiet
Baths have no handles for seniors
It’s clean and close to everything
A lady came daily to do some cleaning and made the bed!
The shower head could not turn direction.
Availability. Over 60 600ms.
Freezing cold. Dated rooms, lumpy beds, scary neighborhoods. 2 guys either drunk or high at door outside.
I like the location near Kensington Market, Chinatown and Queens Street. Very clean.
Electric outlets are in odd inconvenient locations. The towels were few and not fluffy. Someone was smoking in another room, despite being a smoke free building -- this is not the fault of the hotel.
The location was excellent. The staff was great and the hotel was kept clean.
The only issue that I had during my stay at all was just the occasional night rumors in the area being loud, but that's to be expected given the location. The location was excellent
Lots of options for shopping as this is what the app is asking for. It's located in part of the old school Toronto scene. Might not be the best location for elderly people as the location is close to a certain aspect of society that sometimes asks for money. The staff is awesome there's nothing to really worry about as I've found this portion of downtown Toronto very sociable.
Vänligt, enkelt och prisvärt. Rent.
Oroligt runt fastigheten med missbrukare0
The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Good value for money.
The neighborhood is sketchy. The hotel was good for what you pay.
Overall it was quite average.
There were intoxicated people roaming around the hotel, which was awful and feels insecure at night. Moreover, there were bad fragrance in the hotel and the blankets were unclean.
This place is a Shelter not a Hotel. An actual operating shelter. We could smell cigarettes smoking in the room. Someone was yelling in the hallway very early in the morning. You can feel the springs in the mattress of the bed. Homeless people were camped at the front door talking about robbing someone. You need to press a buzzer to get in the main office to check in. I feel it is falsely advertised. I didn’t realize it was an operating shelter till I had checked in. I tried to get a refund on my room booking but couldn’t get any money back for the first night. I don’t recommend to anyone.
It was clean and comfortable
Feeling slightly intimidated by the people hanging around outside the hotel, although to be fair they did not harass me at all
A little tired . No elevator to second floor room . We were moved to first floor room . We had out door plot with two mismatched chairs . The gate to that area was broken .
Location
Entrance dirty, locals snorting drugs outside. No tea, coffee, milk in room.
Location.
Hotel has become a home for drug addicts who need a place to stay. They occupy the main door area outside and stay indoors, with health units checking in on them. I understand there’s a need for these people to have a place, but at $330 for a night, it’s not what I expect from a hotel.
This is a barebones hotel, but very inexpensive compared to anything else in the area. Staff are very friendly and the room was clean. We just wanted a place to sleep that was within walking distance to things we wanted to do. This fit the bill. The area isn't that bad, but there are a lot of homeless people that hang out in the parking lot- no one bothered us though. My only real complaint is that this is a non-smoking hotel and we could smell smoke and week everywhere.
