Excellent location.

Location, quiet and comfortable decent size twin room.

Air conditioning was terrible. Had it on max and was cooler outside. They know it's bad and give you a cheap plastic fan to help. Others complained of this as well and they don't care.

When we arrived, we found our room to be a bit small, since we had a good deal of luggage, and being older, we needed a bit more room. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and I asked if we could upgrade. He said no problem, and that tomorrow he would give us a new room, and at no additional charge. by 9am, the next morning our new room was ready. It was absolutely perfect. The breakfast was good, the staff very helpful, and the location was excellent. Also the room was very quite.

One word: Jeremy. This young man is a ray of sunshine. He made us feel welcome and we left with wonderful memories. This will be my go-to hotel in Avignon, because of Jeremy.

Night-time receptionist was rude.

The location, room size, decor, price, air conditioning (life saver) and delicious breakfast and great restaurant decor/dining experience.

No complaints. Great value for the price.

This hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay at! The location is unbeatable—just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which made getting around extremely convenient. Having a great selection of bars and restaurants right downstairs was a huge plus for grabbing a quick bite or a drink in the evening. The room was spotless, with modern decor and very fresh facilities that made for a comfortable stay. On top of that, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone traveling for business or leisure!

There was really nothing major to dislike about our stay! If I had to nitpick, the room only had one table, so there wasn't quite enough surface space to put all of our things. Additionally, there were no power outlets near the bedside, which made charging phones overnight a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great!

Genügend "Raum" im Zimmer. Echte Tassen bei der Kaffeemaschine. Ein "tonloser" Kühlschrank. Ohne Geräusch, weil thermisch. Klimatisiert auf 25 Grad - ohne lästige Geräusche, da zentral organisiert. Eine Leselampe am Bett die das Lesen erlaubt, weil klein aber fein. Ein Lavabo im Bad, das den Namen verdient. Duschen mit kräftigem Strahl - sofort Heisswasser verfügbar. Baumwollene Bettwäsche mit genügend g/m². SO GEHT HOTEL! Herzlichen Dank für dieses Erlebnis.

The hotel is located pretty close to the station.

The room provided looked quite different from the advertised photos. Even though it had two large windows it was facing three other walls of the hotel, so it had zero day light, requiring artificial lighting all the time. On top of that while using the bath sink, there was a strong sewage smell.

Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück sah gut aus. Aufgrund eines Stromausfalls nach einem Gewitter konnten manche Serviceleistungen nicht angeboten werden, daher können wir das nicht beurteilen. Der Stromausfall betraf nicht nur dieses Hotel. Man hat trotz der Widrigkeiten alles versucht um uns den Aufenthalt unter den gegebenen Umständen angenehm zu machen. Tolle Lage innerhalb der historischen Altstadt.

Perfect service, unbelievably tolerant as we mis-booked the room for the wrong date - the gladly re-booked a room for the correct date and even gave us a free breakfast!

Camera spaziosa e pulita con vista sul viale pedonale che porta al Palazzo dei Papi. Personale accogliente e gentile. La struttura non ha un proprio parcheggio ma è di fronte al parcheggio multipiano. Colazione sia dolce che salata è abbondante.

L’hôtel est très bien situé à quelques mètres du centre d’Avignon et des monuments historiques. L’hôtel est très propre et l’échange avec le réceptionniste était parfait. Il nous a indiqué les bons restaurants et les points importants à visiter.

Rigtig god og central lokation. Meget behagelige senge. Stort værelse efter franske forhold. Effektiv og lydsvag AC på værelset. Traditionel fransk morgenmad med passende/tilstrækkelig, men ikke prangende udvalg.

Hotel råder ikke over egne parkeringspladser, men der var en del offentlige P-pladser i nærheden af hotellet.

While the hotel entrance is on the main promenade - the actual hotel is set behind it. As a result the hotel itself has no atmosphere and an empty bar/lounge. It is a good bed for the night but not a hotel that you would visit in it's own right. The "Bristol" name is perhaps misleading.

The shower slab of plastic was slippery Lost power due to storm at 10 pm and it never came back on all night ..we checked out in the morning at 8:15am .. still hadn’t come on by then Too many steps down the hallway .. hard to roll the luggage

The family room was extra large and comfortable. The personnel was very friendly and helpful, and the location is good to walk the city. We were lucky to park the hotel in a nearby street at our arrival but otherwise parking does not seem very easy in the area unless you pay for an underground parking.

The air conditioning was a stand alone unit inside the room. It kept the room cold but it was not ideal because it was more noisy than a built-in one and required a towel on the floor to keep water from spilling. Otherwise all great.

Posizione e disponibilità dello staff

Posizione comodissima subito dopo le mura di Avignone nella parte interna. Consente di muoversi in totale autonomia. Dato il clima "caliente" il condizionatore è stata una bellissima facility.

Forse ma solo una piccolissima nota, l'ascensore unico .. ma eravamo al secondo piano e si raggiunge comodamente con la scala.

Loved this hotel !!! Jeremy at reception was so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Fantastic location on the end of the old town walkable to all sights.

Aircon turned off during the night and did not seem to be as cold as it should. Staff said they would fix it, but if they did, it didn’t seem to make any difference.

Le rapport qualité-prix que nous avons eu, notamment grâce à la réduction Genius. L’emplacement, le style Art déco, le petit-déjeuner et le personnel.

Notre douche n’avait pas de porte (elle en avait sans doute une par le passé, cela se voyait).

Hôtel avec un super emplacement, à quelques pas de la gare et du centre ville. Très calme, nous avons séjourné deux jours dans une chambre très spacieuse. Le petit-déjeuner est bien. Nous saluons surtout la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le professionnalisme du personnel, et particulièrement Jeremy (vous avez été au top).

Unbeatable Location: The hotel's location is excellent and makes exploring Avignon very convenient. Friendly & Responsive Staff: The team at the front desk was generally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room Size: The room size was big enough.

In-room Amenities: There was no complimentary bottled water provided in the room, and the bathroom has no AC and can be hot. Cleanliness Issue: Unfortunately, on the morning of June 24th, 2026, I spotted a cockroach in my room. I appreciated how the front desk make staff handled it. He immediately offered to move me to a new room. Since I had to head out for plans, he had the housekeeping team into the room to address right away and promised it would not happen.

Hotel appena dentro le mura ma comodissimo alla stazione e sulla via principale praticamente a pochi passi dal Centro; ho potuto provare/vedere altri alberghi qui ad Avignone in questi giorni in occasione del mio tour in Provenza e Camargue , mi sono appoggiata più volte ad Avignon e questo è la mia scelta migliore! in futuro non esiterò a prenotare in questo Hotel

Personeel was erg behulpzaam en aardig. Kamers waren ruim en schoon. De locatie is perfect, direct uit het station de stad in rollen. De lobby wordt te weinig gebruikt door gasten, kan je heerlijk in airco vertoeven. Kortom toppie!

De airco op de kamer is vervelend, want slaat telkens af als er geen beweging in de kamer is, gewoon matig. De douche is beetje zacht, maar wel lekker. Would love a mini-fridge to cool my water!
