El personal de un restaurante y del bufet nocturno, la falta de detalles para los clientes, muy caros las consumiciones de lo que fuera (bufet, restaurante, cafetería)

La habitación que nos dieron era de una categoría superior a lo que habías reservado. Ha sido un detalle muy bueno. Las comidas y las instalaciones eran excelentes.

El garaje debería de tener un marcador para indícar los estacionamientos vacíos, ayudaría bastante a los clientes. En la recepcion,o no nos informaron que el SPA tenía un coste adicional..

El buen servicio, la amabilidad de todos los trabajadores, la tranquilidad. La comodidad de todas las instalaciones, destacando la habitación y la cama...una auténtica maravilla todo.

Nada...no hubo nada que nos nos gustara.

Nuestra estancia tuvo aspectos muy positivos, pero también una experiencia que considero importante trasladar. Al segundo día encontramos tres cucarachas en la habitación. Lo comunicamos en recepción y el trato fue muy amable: nos cambiaron inmediatamente a una habitación incluso mejor. Sin embargo, esa misma noche encontramos otra cucaracha en la ducha de la nueva habitación. Volvimos a comunicarlo y el personal actuó rápidamente, desinfectando la habitación. Quiero destacar que en todo momento el personal fue de 10, muy atento y profesional, y también disfrutamos mucho del desayuno buffet y de las piscinas. El hotel en general está algo antiguo, la nevera es diminuta y no hay enchufe al lado de la mesilla, aunque mantiene unas instalaciones muy agradables. Precisamente por tratarse de un hotel de 5 estrellas, creo que la presencia de cucarachas en dos habitaciones diferentes es un problema que debería revisarse y solucionarse de forma exhaustiva. Entiendo que pueden producirse situaciones puntuales, pero encontrarlas en varias ocasiones durante una misma estancia genera bastante malestar y hace que la experiencia no sea la esperada para un establecimiento de esta categoría. Espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para evitar que vuelva a ocurrir, porque el trato recibido por el personal y el resto de la estancia fueron realmente buenos.

When I checked in to the hotel, the feeling was strange. This is a very large resort, a lot of rooms but there is no clear instructions to show where is your room, I spent almost more than 15 mins to get into my room with no assistance from any front desk staff. I would classify the experience to find your room is horrible. To be fair, the breakfast and dinner is very good, and there is live entertainment at night which is awesome. Enjoy really much on the food and shows. I will give a full mark here.

the concept and design of the place, we found out from locals that it was built after a local village and central church with the main outside area built as the central village square. The reception area is impressive, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is of good quality and varied. There is entertainment in the village square every night, which is a great bonus for vacationers with families/children. There is an extensive spa/sauna on a lower level for those who want to enjoy a bit more quiet hours. And the fact that the resort is directly linked to the other Lopesan resorts in walking distance, meaning one can also chose to have dinner in any of the others and enjoy a slightly different scenery is nice. It caters very well to family vacations that prefer the easy all inclusive service!

The other side of the coin is again its size: it is absolutely huge, which means it is incredibly busy, can be quite noisy in some parts (luckily we had a room all the way at the back side of the resort with an ocean view balcony, which was quiet, though took some walking to get to the eating area at the front each day). Pools area is large and many beds, however one could have trouble finding a bed available at times. The room itself was quite spacious and cool, with a large bathroom, which was nice. But: the beds were too hard for me (but that might be down to personal taste), there was no coffee machine but only a rather beaten small water cooker and instant coffee, the wifi was terrible (having to log back in constantly and reach was poor), the floor were not cleaned every day, there was some randomness to providing clean towels each day, and - surprising, given the hot weather - aside from two small water bottles on the first day, no more water provided in the room, one had to buy from a supermarket or the bar on the premises. A most surprising feature in the room was a weird contraption hanging on the wall under the TV that was supposed to be the refrigerator. Extremely small, one could only fit two bottles of water in it) and extremely noisy! Generally disappointing for a 5 start resort!

El spa, aunque la tarifa es aparte, la atención muy buena y el spa bien, aunque había demasiados clientes dentro.

La atención del personal del hotel, excepto el metre del restaurante que fue atento y cordial, el personal del hotel es como que al ser español parten de que tratas de estafarles o algo así, y están como a la defensiva, no me gustó sentir esa sensación. Los precios han subido mucho pero el hotel no es el que era hace 15 años, la atención es del corte expuesto y eso hace sentir incómodo.

En general espectacular el sitio es la segunda vez que repito

**Una experiencia decepcionante en mi segunda visita** He vuelto a este hotel porque mi primera experiencia fue magnífica y, precisamente por eso, decidí repetir. Sin embargo, esta segunda estancia ha sido bastante decepcionante. La primera noche me alojaron en la habitación 2140, situada en el apartamento F, justo en la zona exterior de la piscina. Desde las 21:00 horas había bastante ruido en los pasillos, aspiradoras, niños pequeños, familiares entrando y saliendo, etc. Quizás tuve la mala suerte de que la habitación que me asignaron estuviera en una de las zonas más ruidosas del hotel. A las 23:30 aproximadamente me cambiaron a la habitación 5106, donde pude descansar algo mejor. Aun así, me acosté alrededor de las 00:00 y a las 05:00 de la mañana ya se escuchaba nuevamente la aspiradora, además del ruido del ascensor. Evidentemente, descansar en estas condiciones fue complicado. De hecho, estuve deseando llegar a casa para poder dormir y descansar tranquilamente. También me llamó la atención que, cuando llegué a recepción con mi equipaje, la recepcionista me preguntara si necesitaba ayuda para llevarlo. Creo que este tipo de detalles deberían cuidarse más, especialmente cuando un cliente llega con sus maletas hasta recepción. Por las molestias ocasionadas me indicaron que me darían una habitación frente al mar. Sinceramente, creo que habría sido mejor no crear esa expectativa, porque las vistas desde la ventana eran básicamente dos palmeras. En definitiva, me voy con una sensación de decepción, especialmente porque esta era mi segunda vez en el hotel y la primera estancia había sido realmente magnífica. Precisamente por aquella buena experiencia decidí volver, pero esta vez la estancia no estuvo a la altura de lo que esperaba. Espero que el hotel tome en cuenta estos comentarios, especialmente en lo referente al ruido y a la asignación de habitaciones, porque una buena noche de descanso es fundamental para disfrutar de una estancia.

La estructura es acogedora, luminosa y está decorada con mucho gusto, utilizando materiales de buena calidad. Muestra habitación era muy espaciosa, con todos los espacios bien pensados. El personal es, en general, atento y profesional, aunque hemos encontrado algunas diferencias en el trato y no todos han sido igual de amables. Una mención especial merece todo el equipo de limpieza, tanto los encargados de los jardines como el de las habitaciones y las zonas comunes. Durante nuestra estancia hemos encontrado todas las instalaciones impecablemente limpias y cuidadas.

El gimnasio olía a humedad y el dispensador de agua no generaba agua fría, sino únicamente agua natural. El minibar tampoco enfriaba correctamente. Compramos dos botellas de agua y las dejamos en la nevera, pero después de varias horas seguían sin estar frías. En cuanto a las hamacas, consideramos muy positivo que no se puedan reservar. Sin embargo, el problema es que los socorristas, o el personal encargado de supervisarlas, no prestaban suficiente atención a este aspecto. Muchas hamacas permanecían ocupadas durante más de dos horas sin que hubiera ningún huésped utilizándolas, lo que dificultaba encontrar una hamaca libre según en qué momentos del día. No es una estructura ecosostenibile y no se fomenta el reciclaje.

Alles perfect, zeer grote kamer (zo groot als 2 hotelkamers!) met buitenzitjes, inloopkast, veel opbergruimte, grote badkamer, bad en douche, veel zwembaden, heel uitgebreid ontbijt en prima dinerbuffet voor allen wat wils, zeer goed onderhouden terrein / gehele locatie, uitstekend amusement in de avond, veel stoelen rondom zwembad, er wordt op "handdoek" leggen gelet maar er zijn overigens meer dan genoeg strandstoelen, temperatuur zwembaden heel goed, winkelcentrum in de buurt, goede parkeergarage 2 laags, heel sympathiek personeel, je wordt echt als gast beschouwd! Handig systeem met kamerkaartje, kun je ook alles mee betalen, snelle in- en uitcheck service, veel horeca op boulevard langs het hotel, autoverhuur in de nabijheid (wij regelden dat via Sunny Cars in Nederland: perfecte service, alles inclusief dus geen discussie in het buitenland; huurauto aan hotel gebracht).

Las piscinas climatizadas

Nos entregaron las habitaciones después de lo previsto, llegamos a la hora y no estaban limpias. Era imposible encontrar hamacas libres ya que la gente las reservaba desde muy temprano y ni si quiera se encontraban en ellas. Las guardaban durante todo el día y no llegaban hasta por la tarde. Solo había huecos en las hamacas “unique” las cuales estaban todas prácticamente vacías y no puedes disfrutar de ellas sin un costo extra. Colas inmensas cada vez que ibas a coger algo de comida en el buffet cuando llegaba tu turno ya no había comida y tocaba esperar a que repusieran.

El trato maravilloso del recepcionista Adrián ante el problema que tuve en el cajero automático que se tragó mi tarjeta. Fue súper amable y me ayudó muchísimo. Un gran profesional y atención excelente. Instalaciones preciosas y confortables.

Que la camarera de piso me tocará a la puerta de la habitación a las 10:12 de la mañana el día del check out cuando la salida es a las 12:00.

Se trata de un hotel fabuloso y único. Tiene una arquitectura muy original . Reproduce un pueblo de la isla de Gran Canaria. La recepción sería la iglesia y las habitaciones están en las casitas. Las piscinas y los jardines parecen un oasis. Se trata de un hotel familiar pero con zonas como la piscina tranquila destinado a personas que buscan descansar. Ofrece actividades varias como el agua gym a las 12:00 horas. Las habitaciones son grandes (del tamaño de mi apartamento) y con gran balcón desde el que se puede contemplar el cielo estrellado. Los bufés son muy variados, cuantiosos y suculentos. Es limpio y seguro. El personal es educado, amable y muy profesional: lo mejor del hotel.

A beautiful hotel with amenities commensurate with its deserved 5 Star rating. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with a high standard of cleanliness maintained by dedicated and friendly housekeeping staff. The grounds are beautifully manicured and cared for, meaning you are sunbathing by one of the numerous pools surrounded by natural greenery and landscaped gardens. Dining in the main restaurant is a buffet style self-service experience where the choice, variety and quality of food is superb and easily caters for all tastes and dietary needs; an experience made even more enjoyable by the friendly staff attending your table or the chefs preparing some of the dishes at the various food stations. Noise was never an issue. The location of the hotel meant street noise was minimal and, on the hotel grounds, we chose the quiet pool away from the daily activities organised by the hotel's animation team. Overall an outstanding hotel where the friendly staffs from Reception, Catering, Housekeeping to the Gardeners were all dedicated in ensuring your comfort and relaxation and, as a result, heightened our holiday experience. Outstanding!

Bei der Ankunft mussten wir unsere Koffer im Dunkeln sehr weit selbst transportieren und haben das Zimmer in diesem riesigen Hotel beinahe nicht gefunden.

I would not class this as a 5 star hotel waiting staff are rude they stretch over you to get plate's, grab your plate before you put your cutlery down, in the 11 days we were there they only replenish our drinks tray 4 times even though we requested it to be replenished at reception,

We have just returned from our latest (10th time here ) holiday at the Villa Del Conde and it was all that we had remembered. The room , food, and staff just made it a perfect time .Even before arriving my e-mails to the reception were answered promptly and helped us achieve our room request. Set out as a typical Canarian village it was beautiful, right on the sea front beside the newly built promenade that led into a nearby shopping area and gave us easy walking and lots of interest. So enjoyed it that we have already booked another visit later this year .

One of my favourite holiday resorts. There’s everything you need and the bar/pool bar staff is brilliant.

Location :- Brilliant. The hotel commands a terrific spot on the Atlantic coast. The hotel is on many levels making the most of the views. I love that I can get anywhere within the grounds without using a lift. When we go out my husband and I either meander along the prom or just sit and watch the sun go down enjoying the sound of the waves lapping on the rocks below. Very relaxing. Atmosphere:- Again Brilliant. We come here because we can completely relax. We stay around the quiet pool which means no noise is allowed which means napping 😴 is easy 😂 There is waiter service which is great as we love our Ice chocola snack in the afternoon. Bliss 😀😀😀 There are also many sunloungers and umbrellas so getting to sit around the pool is not a problem. The Rooms:- The room we have, we have asked for (not available every time) it’s a great room on the ground floor so I do not need to use any of the lifts. It has a separate shower so It meets all my needs. The roomed cleaned everyday. What more do you need 👍😀 Value :- this is not the cheapest hotel however the value aspect is having great staff, good food and accommodation. We have been coming here for many years and know we will have a great holiday. We also get a great reception from some of the staff that remember us. Love it 🩷 I count value not in money but memories. Noise level:- always kept at a decent level. There are no noises after 12am. What more do you want. To sum up:- the Villa Del Conde is the best holiday hotel as it meets both our needs. We even booked up for next year before we came home from this one!

There are many great hotels in the island (Villa del Conde one of them) but what differentiates one to other is the personal attention dedicated by the staff. Massive thanks to Gregorio and his line manager Pablo for being so accommodating in a special weekend at the hotel. It was my third time there and will definitely come again

Just arrived back from a week at this hotel, we was a bit concerned after reading some reviews but we had the best time, hotel was amazing, staff friendly, rooms large, comfortable and clean, room service daily, tea and coffee facilities in room, breakfast was great no queues, excellent selection of food and drinks, pools brilliant always sunbeds available, good entertainment, location was excellent, will definitely be returning, Thank you for a great experience.

I really enjoyed the excellent breakfast with its wide and high-quality selection. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered plenty of room to relax.

## Guest Review – Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso The resort is visually impressive and well maintained, and the breakfast selection is excellent. However, one major issue made my stay extremely difficult: the evening events are so loud that sleeping is almost impossible. At 21:20, the noise level in the room was extremely high, even with the curtains closed and the TV turned up. For guests who need to rest or have an early departure the next morning, this is a serious problem. A premium resort should ensure that events do not disrupt basic guest comfort. Additional points: - Balcony lighting far too bright at night. - No active beverage service at the pool. - Very limited English communication among staff. - Room phone with heavy static, making reception difficult to understand. - Smoking areas poorly marked despite a non‑smoking claim. Positive: - Beautifully maintained property. - Large and refined breakfast selection. Overall, the loud evening events significantly affected sleep quality and should be addressed urgently.

Loved this experience with the family. 100% recommend.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit mehreren Pools

This hotel has the charm of an old Spanish villiage, with beautiful landscaping and an excellent variety of pools. There is something for everyone. There is plenty of animation and entertainment for those who want it, and peace and quiet easily found as well. The rooms are very comfortable and well planned out. We particularly like the half board upgrade option to eat at the other Lopesan restaurants nearby. The staff were without exception lovely, kind and helpful. It felt like an authentic Canarian experience in spite of the size of the hotel. Thank you to Carlos and the reception ladies for their hard work to make our stay absolutely fantastic.

No había intimidad en la terraza, no dalimos en ningun momento. No había presión en la ducha, salía un chorro muy flojo. El aire era ventilador, estaba programado asi y pasamos micho calor.

Ya son varias las veces que visitamos este complejo y cumple con las expectativas que buscamos: comodidad, buena ubicación en relación con la piscina con la que queríamos estar cerca, servicio atento y rápido. A esto añadimos el servicio de habitaciones, un aspecto novedoso para nosotros.

Solo que después de cenar, no había picoteo en los locales del complejo que estaban abiertos después de la cena y el espectáculo, por lo menos hasta las doce de la noche.

En general todo está muy bien.

Por señalar algo a mejorar es q se nota el paso del tiempo en las fachadas y aunque los jardines estaban limpios, esperaba ver más vegetación y más verde en general.

Tout était très bien. Les piscines très agréables, températures parfaites pour se baigner, les chambres très propres. Petit déjeuner très bon et varié.

First time at this hotel, went with my husband he booked it for me a after a resent health problem...... Absolutely lovely hotel, fabulous position for the beach and shops or just a stroll after dinner. Staff where friendly, pool side was restful ( by the quiet pool and shallow pool ), half board was good ( nobody over indulging) food was amazing very good choice and my husband never complained once to me, we liked the rest and the chilled atmosphere that must we've come home and booked for next year.....

Pros - Meloneras is one of the nicer, quieter areas of South Gran Canaria - Property is beautiful and well maintained with lovely pools and gardens - Rooms are sizable with huge bathrooms, good hot water and water pressure - Comfortable beds & pillows - The Staff are great. Helpful, friendly, and mostly multi-lingual - Despite 561 rooms and being near capacity some of the time, hotel never felt full or crowded - Not the mad rush for poolside sun loungers & the quiet pool is lovely - The food at the buffet was really good and the selection was great Cons - Only your first 2 bottles of water are complimentary, after that it's €3 per bottle - beware the room upsell at check-in (we did it and were happy for it though) - Specific to room 5137, there was a recurring issue with a sewerage-like smell that came and went, probably from A/C or ventilation. - Teeny, tiny, narrow room fridge. - There are limited AC sockets in the room - Tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc rarely restocked TL;DR My sister-in-law raved about this hotel after an autumn visit like 15 years ago. I have looked up the Lopesan Villa del Conde (VDC) regularly when planning holidays ever since, and it's always been either booked out or too rich for my blood. So this year during the holiday search, a 10 day stay at VDC came up similarly priced to low-frills B&B properties in Gran Can, so we booked it. We ended up booking half board as it was also very affordable. We got the sea-view room upsell and went on a post-flight, wobbly legged forced march to look at what we had vs what we could have - fifth floor ocean view and of course the view won (extra 430€ for 10 days), slightly larger balcony but otherwise room was the same. We did not get our complimentary water which was a bummer and despite asking reception twice for it. Breakfasts were great with something for most; dinner was also excellent most days with a great selection and variety. We're a bit spoiled fro all incl hotels, so wine & water was an added expense every night. I never asked about BYO & corkage, but it would be great if it was offered. Evening entertainment was really quite good. Live music was phenomenal. After dinner drinks at the main bar were lovely with prices similar to places down the promenade and healthy pours of spirits. VDC is probably too classy for ice machines, but it would be a nice add to make room drinks a little easier - although I think some of the mini-bar packs come with an ice bucket and you can get free ice from the bar. The thing I find most annoying was the lack of free water. Really? I'd really recommend either providing free bottled water or providing filtered water stations throughout the property. There's a well stocked Gordillo's mini-mart a 10 minute stroll down the promenade where you can buy large bottles or packs of bottles of water. Another issue is that the fridge is tiny and narrow, so you're limited for space to chill drinks. Also, the room restocking for coffee, tea, etc is weird - the restock staff come around separately from the cleaning staff and if you have Do Not Disturb up, they skip you. On our floor & building, they came between 10AM and 1PM, so keep that in mind if you need milk or more coffee. Alpendre for lunch is really nice if a little on the expensive side. Despite the nitpicking, the hotel is quite nice and we had a good time. If we return to Gran Can in the future, we'd stay there again. Special thanks to Javi at Buffet for the laughs and the impromptu Spanish lessons.

Es imposible que no te guste algo

Great hotel. But sadly standard's have slipped over the past few years which detracts from the whole 5 star experience. Preference given to spanish/ German guests. Bar staff have a very poor attitude towards customers and there is no thought on presentation for Cocktails. You get better drinks at one of the local bars and they cost less. Not major things but they definitely detract from what you would expect from an otherwise excellent hotel. Overall I would say this is a good 4 star hotel but never a 5 star Not good value for money!!!

Beautiful hotel, disappointing service. This hotel may look five-star, but unfortunately the service and guest experience fell far short of what I would expect from a luxury property. I booked a suite for my children and a separate room for myself. On arrival, I discovered the suite came with additional benefits, including access to a special breakfast area and lounge. Despite the suite being designed for four guests and occupied by only two, the hotel refused to allow me to accompany my own children unless I paid an additional €40 per day. As a result, my children barely used the benefits because we wanted to spend time together as a family. Throughout our stay we felt more monitored than welcomed. Staff repeatedly checked room cards, questioned us and even approached my children at the pool to ask about a lunch bill that was not assigned to their room and had already been covered. Other issues included: * Housekeeping entering my room despite a "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed, while I was undressed. * My children's suite not being cleaned despite displaying the "Please Clean Room" sign. * Tea and coffee not being replenished and attempts to charge for basic refreshments. * Room service failing to answer the phone for over an hour. * Undercooked chicken served via room service, after which I became unwell. * Constant attempts to clear plates while we were still eating. * A "Relax Pack" that turned out to be a single bath bomb for two people. * Early pool closing times and numerous extra charges for facilities. To be fair, I do not believe the staff were the problem. They appeared to be following management policies. The issue seems to be a culture that prioritises rules, upselling and policing guests. The hotel itself is beautiful, but we never felt relaxed. Instead of feeling like valued guests, we often felt watched, questioned and unwelcome. I would not return. UPDATED Luxury hospitality is tested not when everything goes well, but when a guest has a genuine complaint. In this case, the hotel's response was disappointing, addressing only a small part of my concerns while ignoring the more serious issues that had the greatest impact on our holiday. I included the final paragraph based on the hotel's direct email response (not on TripAdvisor), which I received after following up. I believe the way a hotel responds to genuine complaints is an important part of the overall guest experience. What is perhaps most disappointing is that this could have been an excellent holiday. Every hotel experiences occasional service failures, and most guests are understanding when they do. What distinguishes a five-star hotel is its commitment to resolving those issues and restoring the guest's confidence. Instead, despite evidence supporting my complaint, the hotel's response largely ignored the most serious concerns and focused on justifying its policies rather than acknowledging or remedying the failures that genuinely affected our stay. That, more than anything else, speaks volumes about its approach to customer service. I would again emphasise that I believe the staff were simply following management policy. Unfortunately, those policies appear to prioritise strict enforcement over flexibility, discretion and genuine hospitality.

Everything, the best hotel ever

Everything. I travelled most of the world and this is the best hotel I even been in.

very solid hotel, nice environment - very friendly staff - the food (morning/evening) was OK - just not always on the right temperature - hygiene maintenance was very good in the rooms, restaurants and throughout the whole complex - just somewhat outdatet. General impression : to be recommended.

Excellent hotel, great location and great staff

What an amasing hotel. Staff are superb. The hotel itself is fantastic. Rooms very spacious with comfy beds and walk in wardrobes. Also there's a large bathroom with separate shower. I booked a standard room with view and received stunning views overlooking the pool and sea. There were always plenty of sunbeds around the many pools so that was also a bonus. It has a lovely promenade which will take you to a small shopping area and choice of 2 beaches. The bus station is also close by for travel to other parts of the island. The buses are clean and cheap. I will definitely be returning to this fabulous hotel, it' got everything that you need, and the staff are amasing too. I didn't try the spa but was told it was 1st class, so maybe I will try it out next time. P.s Ask for a room close to all the main amenities.
