Beautifully clean reception and restaurant. Food varied and really tasty ; for an all inclusive really varied and good. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean Bolt was cheaper than Uber and @€7 into Albufiera or to Vilamoura Marina. So not worth hiring a car. Supermarket down the road Just a lovely place to stay.

Sun beds grabbed before 8am!! Some people not back to them until 10-11 am The towels need to be moved ! And charged ! Really unfair

We went with the two bedroom apartment, although dated it was spacious, nice large terrace and had all required amenities. The general area is quiet but has restaurants within walking distance.

Our room was situated near the north pool three times during our stay they had a movie night running until 11pm in the bar it was really loud and we could hear it from our room which wasn’t ideal with a young child.

Location was great, friendly staff, kids zone kept my toddler entertained.

Gostei muito da estadia no geral! Foram muito atenciosos logo desde o início, permitiram fazer check-in antecipado e usufruir do quarto algumas horas antes do habitual. O apartamento era muito espaçoso e estava bem equipado. A comida no restaurante era boa, os pratos principais estavam bem pensados e eram saborosos. Os funcionarios foram muito simpaticos no geral, com destaque para o Eric, no restaurante, que excedeu as expectativas.

O restaurante tem alguns problemas na minha opinião: - A entrada no restaurante é muito demorada, é gasto muito tempo por cada grupo e cria-se um bottleneck à entrada com uma fila que se estende pelo lobby do hotel, por vezes havendo mesas livres no restaurante. - A limpeza no restaurante deixa a desejar. Quando sai alguém, passam o pano onde passa a procissão, ficam restos de comida nas cadeiras, as cadeirinhas de bebé estão sujas. - A máquina de panquecas estava sempre desligada. Só ligaram um dia, não faz sentido nenhum, até porque conferia mais variedade ao pequeno almoço. - Acho que podia haver mais variedade, quer no almoço/jantar, quer no pequeno almoço.

Pobyt w hotelu uważamy za bardzo udany. Recepcja czynna całą dobę, bardzo pomocny i miły personel. W restauracji było dużo różnorodnych dań, kącik dla wegetarian, pizza prosto z pieca, sery, desery - wszystko bardzo smaczne, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Na śniadaniach kucharz smażył omlety na świeżo. Pokoje czyste, po remoncie. Wyposażone w aneks kuchenny i duży stół jadalny. Łazienka i korytarze odstają od standardu pozostałych obszarów. Recepcja, lobby, restauracja są urządzone w nowoczesnym stylu. Są dwa baseny: północny i południowy. Basen południowy jest bardziej kameralny, trochę mniejszy od północnego. Jest wystarczająco dużo leżaków, obsługa zawsze pomaga je przenieść. Każdy basen ma osobny bar. Do najbliższej plaży Falesia jest 20 min spacerem. Można również skorzystać z bezpłatnego, hotelowego busika, który dowozi bezpośrednio na plażę. Hotel naprawdę godny polecenia!

Hotel is OK but the pools are too small for the number of people staying here and also no adults only option as children use both pools so not a relaxing place to be. The buffet food was generally Ok but had to wait a long time to be taken to a table as only one member of staff has to take everyone to their table. Not a great all inclusive experience and you need to take Ubers or have a car to get around.

The Patio Suite Hotel superou as nossas expectativas, tudo muito limpo, camas confortáveis, incluído o sofá cama, com excelente estrutura, espaço para estacionamento e boa localização. Refeições de excelente qualidade e variedade. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestativos, com atendimento diferenciado. De realçar a simpatia da equipe do restaurante e do piscineiro Gustavo. O serviço de transporte para a praia também merece destaque, motoristas prestativos e muito profissionais.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed for 8 days. The hotel is very nice and all the staff we encountered were really friendly and professional. Our room was clean and well maintained however there was very little storage despite there been lots of room for more. The beds in the bedroom were comfortable for our children however the sofa bed me and my wife slept on was very uncomfortable and my back suffered. The north pool was great and there was always sun beds available. Our children had a great time in the pool however heated pools were mentioned on the website but they must not have been switched on because the pool was Freezing! Overall we had a really nice relaxing week thank you Patio Suite.

Booked as a last minute holiday so had no expectations. We had a lovely week the food , drinks and service were fabulous . Amazing value for money. Would definitely return.

We recently returned from a two week stay here, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It's a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We spent our days at the North Pool. There are plenty of sunbeds and deckchairs. The evenings in the bar have a lovely relaxed feel. It's filled with families talking and playing games. Board games such as chess and tic tac toe are available to take to your table. Entertainment is low key and doesn't overpower the ambience. I can understand some of the comments regarding the food, but personally I always ate well. There is always enough variety to find something you like. Fresh pizza is always available and there's always a pasta dish. Then there's usually two meat and two fish dishes to choose from. The variety of salads is excellent. The childrens section is usually fries and two main options. There's a decent selection of vegan and gluten free options, too. The dessert section is the best of any all inclusive I've been to. Rooms are spacious are clean, with bottled water replenished daily. We had a fabulous time!

Well located within a 10 minute walk of selection of bars and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to Albufeira or Vilamoura. 2 bedroomed deluxe apartment with 2 bathrooms and huge terrace was perfect for 2 couples travelling together. Would highly recommend .

Hotel is situated around 30mins drive from Albufeira old town. There are a few restaurants and shops close by for those choosing the self catering option. There are 2 beach options for which the hotel provides a mini bus shuttle service. The hotel has a relaxed vibe. There’s not much in the way of entertainment in the evening; a couple of crooners and a bit of karaoke. However, there are boardgames and chess on hand with a lot of people bringing cards/Uno to play with family into the evening. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 almost adult children so booked the 2 bed apartment. I think this could have made our experience better than others as heard some say the rooms were a little tight. Our room had a full kitchen, open plan lounge/dining area with with small balcony from it, bathroom, 2 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a very large balcony off the master bedroom. It ieas just that bit easier than with a 1 bed apartment. We were all inclusive and I feel got good value for money. I have read reviews saying there’s not much food but there’s plenty. It’s just rather than 5 plates of the same thing dotted around a large buffet, there’s only the one plate refreshed every few minutes which tbh I’d prefer. The pizza oven/station is a great option and there’s always the trusty nuggets and chips for the kids if need be. The hotel felt a little boutiquey which was nice. One thing to note is the north pool (rectangular) felt cold even in 30 degree heat! However, when you need to cool down, ya gotta cool down and it didn’t stop us using it. Toilets by the pool were largely clean and kept dry which is unheard of and there’s a small children’s club if you wish to avail. All in all, a very relaxed week where we were well looked after. I don’t usually return to the same hotel twice but if this came up as an option when searching for next year and nowhere else was ticking the boxes I’d have no issues returning here.

Siendo un todo incluido, no estaba muy claro que se incluía o que no y las horas.

Estive no Pateo Suite Hotel há cerca de três anos e decidi voltar precisamente porque tinha tido uma experiência fantástica na altura. No que diz respeito ao quarto e ao atendimento dos funcionários, não tenho absolutamente nada de negativo a apontar. Tudo esteve excelente, desde a limpeza e conforto do quarto à simpatia e disponibilidade de toda a equipa.

No entanto, relativamente à restauração, senti uma diferença bastante significativa em comparação com a minha experiência anterior. A qualidade baixou substancialmente. A comida é bastante repetitiva, os pratos acabam por ter sabores muito semelhantes entre si e nota-se alguma falta de imaginação e variedade na oferta. Esperava encontrar a mesma qualidade que tinha experienciado há três anos, mas infelizmente não foi isso que aconteceu. É uma pena, porque este não foi exatamente o hotel que encontrei na minha primeira estadia. Continuo a considerar que é um bom hotel, com excelentes condições e uma equipa fantástica, mas foi impossível não notar que a qualidade, sobretudo na restauração, está a diminuir. Espero sinceramente que esta seja apenas uma fase e que consigam recuperar o nível de qualidade que me fez querer regressar.

La oferta gastronómica del bufé destaca —todos los platos eran impresionantes, especialmente las opciones vegetarianas— y las bebidas del régimen de todo incluido son de muy buena calidad, incluyendo buenas marcas. El hotel se encuentra a 15 minutos a pie de una de las mejores playas: Pine Cliffs. Nos dejaron de cortesía en la habitación agua y vino de Oporto, al igual que se agradece el préstamo de toallas para la playa.

Un inconveniente fue que la zona de la piscina carecía de duchas y había bastante arena de la playa de otros usuarios.

O alojamento era espaçoso, com uma cozinha equipada para fazer refeições se necessário, as camas muito confortáveis, as refeições ótimas e o staff simpatiquissimo.

A limpeza dos quartos era bastante básica, sendo essencialmente fazer a cama.

Muito espaçoso, confortável e esteticamente muito bonito com uma decoração relaxante. Funcionários de excelência. Apartamento bem equipado e muito limpo. Equipa muito simpática e prestável.

As tomadas na cozinha deviam estar em locais mais acessíveis para utilização das outras comodidades. Como a chaleira e a torradeira mas está no meio de uma parede sem uma mesa de apoio. Se não tivesse um cubo com mais entradas não conseguia fazer por exemplo uso da torradeira e da chaleira. Deviam avisar que os quartos, nas mesas de cabeceira, só têm entradas americanas porque não são só estrangeiros que desfrutam dos hotéis. A insonorização não é das melhores.

Os piqueniques poderiam ser mais variados: saladas com mais quantidade de proteina, as sandes poderiam ser mais diversificadas em termos de proteinas englobando por exemplo queijo, bife de frango ou atum ao natural, ovo cozido, evitando as pastas. Outra sugestão é incluir salada de fruta ou fruta laminada.

Suite espaçosa, com cozinha com o necessário para preparar refeições. Funcionários muito atenciosos. Serviço de transporte para a praia.

No me gustó que las sábanas olían a humedad, el colchón del sofá cama era horrible y si pesas más de 20 kg te clavas todo. El edificio es antiguo y está en medio de una carretera transitada. Un hotel muy ruidoso, mucha gente corriendo por los pasillos y en las habitaciones se escucha todo. Las dos piscinas pequeñas y abarrotadas de niños jugando con pelotas dentro del agua.

Das Sofabett war extrem unbequem und für den Preis habe ich mit drei Personen schon besser geschlafen. Das Frühstück war nicht so wie erwartet und eher unlecker.

Very disappointing stay. I found cockroaches in my room, as shown in my photos. The hotel’s reaction was insufficient, and the hygiene level was far below expectations. I do not recommend this hotel until proper cleaning and pest control measures are implemented.

Quase impossível disfrutar das mesmas tranquilamente. Necessita de pessoal para impor cumprimento das regras de utilização. Animação para crianças de duração curta

Pasamos una semana 2 adultos y dos niños y todo muy bien la verdad, tengo varias intolerancias alimentarias y estuvieron pendientes en todo momento y siempre con muchas opciones para comer.

No nos gustó que a la hora de salir y viajando de madrugada quedaron de tenernos un desayuno para llevar (sin gluten ni lactosa) y en vez de tenerlo listo para las 5:00 como acordamos con la relaciones públicas Cristina, el recepcionista solo tenía una nota de que lo tenía que preparar a las 7:00. Tengo que decir que este señor trató de solucionarlo de la mejor manera posible. Gracias.

Sem dúvida, a comida. Tudo perfeito, comida caseira, pratos pensados ao detalhe. Apenas mudava a parte das sobremesas. Falta as típicas portuguesas, como o arroz doce, leite creme, mousse etc….

The place is wonderful all over. Food had an amazing selection every night. Salad was so fresh & lovely. There was a couple of times some of the meat a bit dry or sauce was too watery but other than that it was great. My children are very picky but they always had something. Would have preferred if there was more variety in the entertainment as it was mostly live music. The World Cup did get in the way one of nights though. Plenty of drinks to choose from in the all inslusive & cocktails were nice. Overall we had a fantastic stay & will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 9 nights, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the food in the restaurant was great I couldn't fault it! The free shuttle to the beach was great we used that a lot! Would definatly recommend this hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We travel with 2 children and it was our first stay at The Patio. I must say we were very happy with the family vacation, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Its an amazing and relaxed place, they dont go crazy with rules which sometimes can be obnoxious. Everyone did an extra mile to make us happy, the food and drinks are 5 stars, we went all inclusive and did all of our meals at the hotel, and were happy to find out it was totally worth the money The apartment was very spacious, with air conditioned that actually worked (with individual split units not central, so we can turn on and off and it was very efficient) Pools and bars were great, also we really enjoyed the shuttle to the beach, never felt the hotel very full, it was a great stay We traveled by car, and it was really easy to park in front of the hotel, didnt had to pay anything. I was also able to charge the car in the parking behind the hotel with no problem The main point I have to say I didnt like at all was the sound isolation in the room Our apartment was in front of the main elevators and were really noisy at night, with random party goers arriving at 4 or 5 am and making a lot of noise. This happened daily. I also think the windows should be better insulated as we can hear the sound of passing cars all night (it was loud) Also the sofa bed had a thin couch so it would be maybe a quick win to buy some toppers to give the guests a better night sleep I wouldnt even change anything else, just the sleep quality. Nevertheless we will very likely return next year! As for entertainment I think it should be better (doesnt cost much). Very little entertainment for adults during the day (you had to subscribe some qr code, if you dont then they dont do anything). My experience in other hotels is that the team should do it anyway and motivate people to join, have music in the pool area, do some activities in the pool like zumba or a dj etc hire some more fun singers at night (there was one that was great with dancers and fancy clothes but they were mostly dull all week), we appreciated the karaoke as well as movie nights

All staff members were lovely. Hotel was extremely clean. Apartments were spacious. Only downside the hotel needs more sun loungers for the peak season. Food in restaurant is good but repetitive. Similar at lunch and dinner.

We’ve just returned from a lovely week at The Patio. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was massive, a great place to chill. We were all inclusive and the food was good although the desserts were very samey and bland. We walked to the beach each day- around 20 mins at Childs pace as we preferred the exercise to taking the shuttle. We spent afternoons by the pool which was great but we never managed to get a lounger, they started being reserved, but not sat on, before breakfast. Our daughter loved the mini disco each evening but we didn’t try any other activities. Overall a great stay and we would recommend it!

Located in Albufeira but away from the noisy downtown area. Close to beaches and one of them is a beauty and the hotel has a shuttle bus to go there. The staff is so friendly and ready to help you. The breakfast is to dye for with so much choice. We were accompanied with our 2 grandchildren and they had so much fun at the kid 's pool.Near local restaurants and grocery store walking distance. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are very big with kitchen. Definitely a hotel for families with children. Will be back soon. Jose E.

We really liked the hotel. Clean, spacious family room. We were self catering and ate in local restaurants within walking distance. Amazing golf resort opposite the hotel. Cheap Uber ride away from Albufeira and Vilamoura. In our last couple of days some groups of young lads were there and disrupting the peace of the swimming pool, which shouldn’t happen at a family hotel.

Rooms were excellent and there was a friendly atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Hotel very clean. We stayed in 2 Bed and it had two bathrooms sleeping 5. Rooms cleaned every day. The noise level was a little loud because we were roadside but it was white noise and unless you pay it attention it's not noticeable. it can be loud in the morning. The hotel is situated near some bars and a few restaurants which we used a couple of nights. The hotel food was excellent but maybe a little more variety on the mains but everything else was fantastic. i would recommend this hotel to anyone especially with small kids. Taxi rides to old and new towns and Vilamoura we very cheap and they provide a bus service to beach. Beach was 2.5km walk but well worth a visit. Night entertainment wasn't fantastic but The World Cup was on while we were there so it helped.

We stayed at The Patio Suite in the Algarve for a week in July 2026 with our little one and, overall, I'd rate it 3.5/5. While there are plenty of positives, there are also enough drawbacks that I don't quite feel it lives up to its 4-star rating. The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, from reception to housekeeping. The cleaning staff were excellent, keeping the rooms spotless every day, and the waiting staff were outstanding. A special mention goes to Sao, who remembered guests, room numbers and was fantastic with the children – a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were clean, the food was of a very good quality throughout our stay, and the grounds, although fairly compact, are beautifully maintained. The buffet doesn't offer a huge selection compared to some larger resorts, but what it does offer is consistently fresh and of a very good standard. The pizzas are a real highlight, cooked fresh throughout the evening in full view of guests, so you can watch them being made. Breakfast is also excellent, with freshly cooked omelettes made to order every morning that are absolutely delicious. The pools were clean and well maintained, with a lovely children's pool that's ideal for younger families. There are plenty of comfortable seating areas around both pools. Although the cocktails and drinks are fairly standard, they're well made and often include fresh fruit. The lobby and restaurant areas are modern, clean and have a lovely atmosphere. There's also a kids' club (which we didn't use as our child was too young), and supermarkets are only a short walk away, making it convenient for guests who aren't staying all inclusive. The free shuttle bus to two different beaches is a real bonus. Praia da Oura Leste is a picturesque, rockier beach with several small coves and a good choice of beach cafés and restaurants. This is where the hotel's reserved sunbeds are located, although I'd recommend using the independent sunbeds instead. Praia da Falésia offers a completely different experience, with a huge stretch of soft sand that's ideal for families. It has just one flight of steps to access the beach, sunbeds cost around €21 for the day, and while there's only one beach café, it's the beach we preferred overall. There were, however, several areas that could be improved. On arrival we weren't shown around the hotel or given any information on where the various facilities were located, so we spent the first day figuring things out ourselves. One of the biggest frustrations was the shortage of sunbeds around both pools. Despite signs asking guests not to reserve them, many were claimed early each morning, while the large grassed area remained underused and could easily accommodate more loungers. The all-inclusive snack offering at the north pool is also disappointing, only being available between 4pm and 6pm. Outside those hours you have to pay, which feels restrictive for an all-inclusive package. It was also disappointing that there isn't a shuttle bus into Albufeira Old Town. Other negatives included the dated, underpowered hairdryer in the room and the fact that a twin room is simply two single beds pushed together with separate duvets. The hotel is located beside a main road which is generally quiet, but you can occasionally smell traffic fumes around the north pool. The pool temperatures also seemed questionable, with neither feeling particularly heated. Entertainment is small and low key, which reflects the size of the hotel. There isn't a packed programme of activities or large evening shows, but if you're looking for a quieter, more relaxed holiday, it's perfectly adequate. The self-service washing machines and dryers are old but functional. The on-site market stocks only a small range of items, with few everyday essentials available. Finally, the buffet could be improved by providing clearer food labels, ingredient lists and allergy information, particularly for desserts. Overall, we had a really enjoyable family holiday thanks to the exceptional staff, spotless cleanliness, beautifully maintained grounds and the high quality of the food. While there are areas that could certainly be improved, we wouldn't hesitate to return. However, the issues with sunbeds, limited all-inclusive snacks, lack of information on arrival and several dated facilities mean I feel the hotel falls just short of the standard I'd expect from a 4-star property, making 3.5/5 a fair reflection of our stay.

Staff are pleasant and helpful. But if I were to compare this to similar 4 star all inclusive hotels I have stayed at, it falls short. Food is ok, not an awful lot of choice, pizzas are lovely, and vegetarian section was nice. Breakfast, the highlight was the freshly made omelette. Cocktails are just sugary syrup, so I would stay away from them. Beer /spirits and mixers we good. No complaints. We were surprised that bottles of water aren’t included on all inclusive. Never experienced that before and it was actually rather annoying, as I consider that a basic need. Sunbed situation is dire. In our 50s having to lay on a towel on the grass really isn’t ideal. In fact something I have never had to do anywhere else and we aren’t fussy, any sunbed would do, sun or shade. Rooms are a good size, perfect for a young family. Hotel is quite out the way. You can walk to the beach, but it’s a good 20 mins. Hotel does provide a shuttle. We took an Uber to Vilamoura which was lovely. I will consider staying in that area next time, as there is more to do. In summary if you have young children and are looking for a quiet holiday. This might suit you. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Staff, rooms, location, amenities and food did not disappoint. 15 minute walk to probably one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve and far enough from the crowds in Albufeira. Their pools were lovely when we wanted a break from the beach. 2 bedroom suites were very roomy and perfect for my family of 4. All that you need are just steps away including many restaurants that feel like you are eating with the locals. It won’t disappoint. Will be back 100%

Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of June. Upon arrival was informed the room was not ready yet so we had to wait a couple of hours to be sorted. 2 bedroom apartment that was big enough to sleep 6 easily , 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies , great when you have children as no shared bathroom. Rooms cleaned everyday, hotel cleaned constantly, hotel staff were great, atmosphere is more quiet at this hotel. location in between Albufeira and Villamoura which is ideal for travelling to with resorts, Uber cheap enough to get around.Nice beach about 20 minutes walk or 5 mins in taxi. Pool areas were clean and plenty of sunbeds. Daytime entertainment was non existent! Night time not much better. We spent our nights out as we like to eat out and enjoy the local food. All In all a great stay and would definitely return. Many thanks

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It is located a bit outside of the city centre of Albufeira, but with the shuttle buses to the beaches and an uber app this was not a problem. The service by the staff at the hotel were truly excellent, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The receptionists made booking trips and activities very easy and accessible. We have some serious food allergies in our family. In the restaurant they accommodated this beautifully and all dishes were labeled and labeled correctly, which is an uncommon luxury when traveling. I would recommend this hotel, especially if traveling with children.

The staff here are excellent - always helpful and polite, they understand service. Hotel is well maintained and clean. It’s a well managed hotel and relatively close to faro airport

We were in a room that was not family friendly (directly above the bar) it took us hours to settle our children to sleep. When we complained the staff were helpful and moved our room however we had to wait a long time to get into the new room which meant we couldn't take the children up to the room to get out the heat of the day or relax. It made the first day of our holiday much more stressful than I would have liked. The new room was still noisy and we could still hear the bar but it was better. If we stayed again we would not want a pill view room for this reason!

Public transport non existent but Ubers are very reasonable. Small thing but our oven was broken, and some sinks were blocked in our apartment which they fixed when we told them.
