Mountain Modern Jackson Hole

I chose the property because it was the drop off location for my group tour to Yellowstone National Park. Being from out of state and not knowing the area I defaulted to stay here.

The front desk staff were less than welcoming. They were hurried and talked more amongst themselves than to the guests checking in. The room was well appointed but the entire property is old and noisy. This was the most expensive hotel stay I have ever had and it did not meet my expectations. Especially to find out, on the morning of check out, that the restaurant attached to and advertised in the hotel did not offer any complimentary breakfast or coffee. There was a hot buffet set up apparently for a larger tour group that was staying at the hotel but regular guests would have to pay ala carte for food. Considering the rate that was charged, the least they could do was provide a simple continental breakfast for all guests. I was not the only guest who was confused and disappointed by this set up.

I wish a dresser or drawers of some sort were on our room. The size of the room could have easily accommodated something.

There was a noise between the walls of the bedroom that I could hear every couple of seconds almost like it was in the piping. It kept me up even with using earplugs.

The price of the rooms was outrageous for the quality of the rooms. I was also not impressed with the lack of noise control. The ear plugs was a nice thought.

We had a really great room over the Triple M bar/restaurant, with a lovely long balcony and a good way off the highway. We loved how close we were to town and all the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the bar was never noisy. We did hear our neighbors but they provided earplug which was quite thoughtful. The toiletries smelled nice and included everything you might want. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which was really handy. The bed and bedding was really comfortable and faced a fireplace so the tv was off to the side. We didn’t use the fireplace but it would add a nice ambiance. We are big tv watchers but someone else might find the tv location inconvenient.

We could hear our neighbors when they came in at night so the soundproofing could definitely have been better. To add a couple little nitpicks (overall not a big deal): there was no shelf or anything in the shower to place our own toiletries, the room had hooks but no hangers if you need to hang a dress or something nice, the clock radio had outlets to plug in a phone cable but there were no outlets at all on either bedside that weren’t in use (there was one near the luggage bench), there were no luggage racks (just one bench) so a suitcase had to be put on the ground.

Bathroom extremely small. Shower curtain did not reach floor, flooded bathroom. No elevator. Paid for deluxe King got a standard King because I couldn't climb stairs. Worst $600 room I've ever been in. Total disappointment. Would never recommend this to anyone. Take it off your list. Not worth $100.

They ripped me off. I had two rooms booked and last minute plans changed and only needed one room. Despite having vacancies, they charged me for the empty room! A complete lack of customer service. Terrible. I would never go back.

Great location, bust extremely small space. Smaller than a college dorm room and no desk. It worked great for just my daughter and I, but for $600 a night I expected a lot more. Bets were however very comfortable and in Jackson everything is over priced anyways we found out. It had been 32yrs since I’d been out west. Haha

Hotel was nice and hot tub great.

I had two rooms booked...one for me and one for my friend. My friend had to go home early and the hotel would NOT credit me for the unused room! And there were vacancies...so there was NO reason not to refund me the unused room. Terrible policy. I would NEVER use this hotel again!!! No care for the customer at all!!!!

Bathroom extremely small, had to back into it to sit down. No creamer for the coffee. Pillows extremely fat so woke up to my neck being severly pinched.

The rooms were super clean and the beds were really comfortable. We slept incredibly well. Additionally, I had seen reviews saying the walls are thin and that it’s easy to hear through them but we found it to be perfectly quiet and didn’t hear a thing. Overall, we had a great time!

Being it was a motel instead of hotel. My family and I are more than capable of carrying luggage to 2nd floor; obviously elevator would be out of question but something like a dumbwaiter would be awesome!

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was great for making breakfast and lunch.

The receptionist was responsive when we brought the cleanliness issue to her attention and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was essentially the same, but we appreciated her willingness to help.

We paid approximately $1,500 for two nights, and the property did not match the impression given by the online photos. It felt like a basic, poorly maintained motel—not a property worth anywhere near what we paid. Shortly after entering our room, our son was running back and forth while stimming, and the bottoms of his feet became completely black from the floor. I had to wash everyone’s feet and make sure we wore socks and shoes so we wouldn’t touch the floor. We showed the receptionist a photo, and she moved us, but the second room was not much better. We tried to make the best of it, but we were so disappointed and uncomfortable that we left the next morning and did not stay for the second night we had paid for.

Love this chic little Mountain motel. Especially love the pool on a hot day very clean and comfortable.

The motel was well appointed with two nice pools and hot tubs. I liked the decor.Cute restaurant with some game tables and outdoor sitting areas. Great location. We could walk to shops and good restaurants.

The floors were really creaky and we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around early in the morning and late at night.

Would not recommend to anyone. They state it’s pet friendly but there are no designated pet spots (they said just find some grass around the property). We were also not given the pet bed or bowls as stated on the website. The rooms are very noisy, the fridge made some awful noises and the AC unit was blowing humid air. Way to noisy and inconvienent parking if you have kids or heavy luggage. Not to mention the exposed doors and I also had somebody trying to break into my room at 3am. Felt unsafe and not very protected. I went to the front to share my concerns about my stay and the front office wrote down my name and number and said the manager would call me within the hour. I never heard from him so I called them and the manager was very inpolite and inconsiderate.

Great Modern Motel for a Town Basecamp! We had a nice stay at Mountain Modern Jackson Hole. We booked a classic room without the efficiency kitchen layout, and the setup was perfect for a clean, nicely renovated modern motel. The staff was friendly, and it overall seemed like a very family-friendly resort. The location is incredibly convenient, offering a quick walk right into town along a main road. We also had a great time at the local rodeo during our visit! After long days of exploring the area-Grand Tetons etc, the pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect for relaxing and unwinding in the afternoon. We loved the local dining scene as well and thoroughly enjoyed having dinner at Glorietta Trattoria, Snake River Grill, and the Silver Dollar Bar.

Very over priced for quality of room with no breakfast. Noisy connected rooms. Window looking onto walkway couldnt have blind open or everyone walking past can see you lying on your bed.

I absolutely love staying at Mountain Modern. We stayed in a King suite with a full kitchen and patio. The location is great, just 5-10 minute walk to all the best restaurants and shops in Jackson. The pool is perfect for a day after adventuring and The Triple M has delicious food and bev options. Will certainly be back ASAP!

Loved it here! We stayed in July 2026 with a 9 year old in a one bedroom (two queen beds) room with two bathrooms, a kitchen, a sitting area and a balcony. The kitchen was much larger than expected (or even needed, but if you wanted to cook here you easily could!), the living room provided a nice extra space for us and the two bathrooms made the morning routine more convenient. We could sit on the balcony at night without disturbing our son. All very nice. Upon entering the room, we noticed a chalkboard word search which was a really cute touch - we spent time looking for words every time we walked through. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well. We were on the third floor and there's no elevator so heads up. Our son swam in the pool which was beautiful and there was an on site market and restaurant, which we didn't use but we heard from others was wonderful. The map of the property makes it look like you need to park far away but the reality of the property is that everything is actually very close. Very nicely kept property, clean rooms, recently remodeled. Would stay again!

No breakfast included. The Triple M onsite was understaffed. The building we were in (there are several) had trucking loading, unloading, beeping etc every morning at 0800 waking us up.

Issue with our refrigerator /freezer 1dripping water everywhere. Didn’t have another room available for us to change too so had to wait an hour or two for them to change out the fridge freezer after we eat already unpacked very inconvenient, but they did fix the problem.

The location was superb and the value is the best in Jackson. The staff went way above and beyond to assist us with luggage/item storage for a few hours. You won’t be disappointed!

The location of the property was fantastic! It was easy to walk around the town.

We were in the upper floor, so for us all we had was a squeaky floor. Our friends were staying below us, and they heard every footsteps in our room. I was able to drag the chair over to my side of the bed, but I don’t understand a hotel that does not have some sort of platform on each side of the bed as a nightstand.

It didn’t have a fitness center

The crazy parking and configuration of the place was very uncomfortable. We could not always park near our room…walking over a block to the space. The coffee maker didn’t work, the toilet room was ridiculously small, the shower leaked. And the noise when anyone walked by or upstairs made it evident that the building was shoddy and old. Then there was the fact that to have privacy, the shade had to always be down. This made the room dark and depressing as the lighting was dim. The coffee in the coffee shop was awful.

We were on the ground floor as we requested, but the noise from above was really high. Suggest a second floor room next time.

The location is great - localized in Downtown. There are a few walking-distance restaurants. The room is clean.

The sound isolation of the room was bad. It was very noisy, especially when we stayed at the first floor. We requested to move to the second floor on the second night. Then the experience was even worse. We were called by the front desk and they knocked our door around 10:00 pm to ask us keep our voice down.. We didn't even talk much. It was just a few steps when we walked around the room.

We chose to stay in Mountain Modern for 4 nights during our current USA road trip from the UK. Only a couple of blocks away from the super popular Jackson square with the antler arches sits the Mountain Modern. It is also just a small (15 min) walk to the rodeo if you are fortunate enough to go along with restaurants and shops literally on your doorstep. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The reception we got when checking was really appreciated - so a huge thank you to the front of house team. Once checked in there is ample onsite parking. If you are staying in one of the upper rooms there are no elevators. Not huge problem but something to take note of. We chose an upper room as we were aware some of the lower rooms can be noisy if you have inconsiderate neighbours. The room was an absolute delight. A small kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave and sink. The bathroom had a great shower with fantastic water pressure. There was a desk on castors which made for a perfect area to set up for photo editing and social media posting etc. Being on castors meant we could position the desk near a window with a view to the hill and the greenery. The bed was super comfortable as was the couch. Ample space to hang clothes and also hide away suitcases. Onsite there are laundry facilities, ice machines, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub. Whether you are here for the "Jackson Scene" or the countryside, Tetons, landscapes, walking and hiking or just passing through I cannot recommend Mountain Modern highly enough. It is priced in the mid range for Jackson so although not cheap it is a great cost effective way to stay super close to the centre. Great job Mountain Modern - we will definitely be back!!!!

I liked the long bench for luggage. Staff at the reception were great.

The microwave and the coffee maker were plugged in but there was no power to the outlet, similarly with one of the lamps. We were on the main floor. One could hear every step that the occupant took above us. something also fell over with a giant crash in the above room, and woke us in the middle of the night. The traffic noise could be heard because we were in the room closest to the road.

Very cute property with great views. Good location to walk to things. Rooms were comfortable. Never had used the soap they provided, loved it and curtailing into an order for home!

Parking could be tough. That was the only downside.

The location of the property was fantastic! About a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping within walking distance. The beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed in a room with bunk beds. Great for traveling with kids! I wish more hotels offered bunk beds. There was ample parking.

The staff was friendly and helpful when I arrived, especially very late at night.

There was a wool accent blanket that smelled like feet and the smell transferred to my puffer jacket, specifically to the pocket where my gloves and mask were. I had investigated the source and it was definitely the blanket, because it smelled like someone else’s odor. I know decor blankets aren’t washed as thoroughly as white sheets but the smell was really bad, I ended up trashing my new jacket.

Location great. Parking lot full and tight. The sloping angled parking are was not friendly to motorcycles. No breakfast included is ridiculous for the price. The very small and expensive onsite coffee shop adds an 18% service charge and then asks for a tip for no service… go elsewhere… breakfast for 1 person costs approximately $25-$30. Rooms were nicely updated with a sporty modern touch.

It was a beautiful motel in the heart of Jackson. Very cute, clean and well located. Loved the pool. I definitely would stay here again!

The walls are thin! They do provide complementary ear plugs which helped but we had some noisy neighbors.

The hotel was clean overall. The location was amazing as you could walk to everything. The staff were nice and when asked for items they were quick to respond and show up at your room to provide the items.

The only downfall was the noise. However, we had a room over the cafe; which was not bad, but definitely I think being on the top floor made a big difference.

It has a cute asthetic! The place is very clean and offers great amenities. They even include ear plugs for light sleepers!

The only knock I have is that it seems to have a floating floor. We were on the first floor, and all footsteps echo, even your own.

The beds are comfortable and the suite was spacious. The management was very respectful and responsive. Nice to hang by the pool after hiking. Liked that we could walk to good food. The building mad Eid concrete provides the kind of quiet one need for a good night sleep.

The first building we stayed in had zero soundproofing so road and human noise is pervasive but we also had the misfortune of being subject to outrageous behavior of guests above us all night.

We were on the lower level of the hotel and the room above us. You could hear every move they made, and it was hard to sleep. Also, the water pressure in the shower was pretty pitiful.! also in the description it said it had queen beds and it was definitely a full-size bed so that was a little bit of a letdown!
