I found odd that there is zero option to eat anything in the hotel between 4 pm and 8 pm. I understand that the restaurant closes the lunch session at 4 pm, but there should be some option for people arriving later, either a cafeteria with cold sandwiches or easy fried stuff, or a room service with some basic options. That is not too much to expect in a 4 star hotel, I think. We were received in the bar at 4:15 by a group of waiters that seemed exhausted and eager to tell us that the kitchen was closed and there was nothing to eat, even though the bar and terrace service continued. After a bit of massaging one of the waiters agreed to give us some chips to get by.

I asked for some ice to take to my room and was told there is a supermarket nearby so go and buy it. I'm an international traveller and have never been told that before, totally unacceptable. Reception staff were not welcoming quite frankly rude. There was a horrible smell in the corridor and the bathroom. 2nd day the room was not cleaned despite the sign on the.door saying it was ready to be cleaned. The only thing done was the bed covers pulled up but the bottom sheet was disorganised and not touched. Frankly unacceptable on many levels. We stayed before and had the most amazing time this time I won't be coming back.
