Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Nice boutique hotel. I really liked the fish-themed decor in the room, very cute. Not right on the beach, but short walk and expected based on the price.
The paid breakfast was a total ripoff… I paid for the breakfast in the hotel $30/day and I was sent to a restaurant behind the hotel where, based on the menu, I would have paid below $20 for any breakfast option. We were given a select menu specifically for Tryp and not a full menu and when I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with a small side of cinnamon apple I had to pay extra! $30 for breakfast with oatmeal and still charged extra for few pieces of apples. Absolutely outrageous. Not too mention on Sunday we were not even seated in the restaurant but in a shack next to it, like a second class customers when in fact I paid more for the breakfast than all the people who walked in from the street most likely had paid! Don’t change for breakfast in the hotel if you’re sending people to a restaurant!

They need to update the fitness center. There was only one treadmill, one bike they did have an exercise bike inside of the room. I will say that that was convenient, but I like going to the fitness room to work out not inside of my hotel room.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Localização excelente e funcionários muito simpáticos. O hotel tem espreguiçadeiras para os hospedes na praia, a 5 minutos de caminhada. As camas eram confortáveis e o chuveiro com boa pressão e temperatura de agua. O quarto tinha limpeza diária. A área da piscina era muito agradável para um fim de tarde, e os drinks do bar eram bem feitos e com preços bons.
A posição onde o aparelho de ar-condicionado do quarto está instalado faz com que o vento seja direcionado para a cabeça de quem está dormindo, e isso foi muito desagradável. Nossa reserva não tinha café da manhã incluído, e no dia que tentamos comprar o café da manhã no hotel, acabamos desistindo pela demora (a própria atendente falou que se estivéssemos com pressa era melhor ir em outro lugar). Não é buffet livre, tem um preço fixo e uma lista de produtos para escolher um deles, e o custo acaba ficando maior do que tomar café nos restaurantes próximos.

Con respecto al Hotel, me gusto las instalaciones y la ubicacion, cerca de la playa, te llevan y ademas tenes un lugar para los clientes del hotel, te dan sombrilla, reposera y hay un empleado del hotel que te asesora y ofrece agua fresca y uno puede pedir un almuerzo.-
que las cartas del menú no tengan redacion en Español.-

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026We had a comfortable stay at TRYP. Nice price compared to all the high-end hotels in the neighbourhood. The room was clean and well equipped. Perfect location for both lazy and active days, close to all best beaches in Aruba. We were snorkeling quite a lot (mostly Boca Catalina) and used public transport only, which is convenient from the bus stop right next to hotel (but you need to be prepared that it’s quite tough to understand the bus schedule at first as it’s not well comunicated). The hotel crew was generally nice and we liked the melex transport to Palm Beach :)
I booked this hotel for our honeymoon and asked them to prepare a little welcome note to do a little surprise for my wife. They promised to do that and also prepare a complimentary bottle of champagne which was very nice, but eventually we received nothing upon arrival 😄 But probably it was my fault and I should have reminded them about that closer to the date of stay (if you are in similar situation, remember to remind 😄)

Piscina ótima, funcionários super educados e falam diversos idiomas fluentemente (inglês e espanhol sempre). Quarto excelente, banheiro excelente, cama excelente. Estacionamento gratuito no hotel. Toalhas para passar o dia. Tudo perfeito! Informei que era aniversário de casamento na reserva e deixaram o quarto com arrumação especial e nos deram um champanhe de cortesia.

They make you feel like they've known you for years, very helpful and they give some good recommendations from entertainment, meals and spots. Please come and stay here for your next trip.

Hotel velho, no elevador tem um cheiro muito ruim. Na recepção apenas cobraram e entregaram o cartão, não deram informação do hotel ou da cidade. O café tem que pagar a parte em um local que parece improvisado, no sol, cheio de pássaros roubando a comida e demora muito para servir. Somente no check-out fomos informados que tem uma cafeteria onde é possível comprar pequenos lanches. O espaço na areia da praia tem que dividir um guarda sol em QUATRO hóspedes, ou seja, um casal compartilha com outras pessoas o mesmo espaço, e tem uma senhora gritando dizendo que quem manda naquela área é ela e tem que sentar onde ela manda (inacreditável), fiquei alguns minutos e fui embora. Tenho categoria Genius 3 no Booking e nos colocaram em um quarto nos fundos onde a janela dava para uma parede. Chegamos um dia mais cedo do passeio e o segundo andar estava quase todo alagado e os funcionários na correria para a água não inundar todos os quartos ):

Reviewed May 20, 2026Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij ieder contact moment. Toen bij het ontbijt het restaurant nog niet open was werd ik door een medewerkster naar het restaurant naast het hotel gebracht waar ik met mijn voucher ook terecht kon.
Ik vond het hotel heel gehorig, mensen die op de gang liepen, deuren die dicht klapten, de koelkast op de kamer die heel veel geluid maakt. Er stond een extra airco apparaat onder het bureau die af en toe zomaar aan sprong en er kwam amper water uit de douche en de temperatuur was niet instelbaar. Wellicht dat de temperatuur wel instelbaar zou zijn maar ik vind het niet economisch om de douche lang aan te zetten voor dat er warm water komt.

Escribí por WhatsApp pero nunca me respondieron, llamé al 0 para recepción y tampoco me respondieron. En mi habitación había una LED quemada que no paraba de prenderse y apagarse. No entendí por qué avisan que cualquier comunicación por ahí, si nunca me respondieron. En el check in no te explican sobre las instalaciones y si ha actividades o no. Es mejor que preguntes todo :).

En las noches se siente mucho ruido en la habitación. Tal vez las ventanas requieren insonorización. También el aire acondicionado es bastante ruidoso.
