Très bon emplacement, bonnes piscines, belle vue mer,calme et bonne climatisation.

1 les cafards dans la cuisine et dont un qui a couru dans la salle de bain. Manque de menage et changt de serviette pendant les 3 premiers jours du séjour de 7 jours . La réception ne donne aucune explication de comment fonctionne le service et l'accès aux installations ou aux prestations de la résidence !

Vagas de estacionamento não eram demarcadas por quarto, tinhamos que para longe as vezes.

Geen grote luxe. Maar net appartement met volledig ingerichte keuken. Fijn zwembad met voldoende ligbedden. Om de 2 dagen werd er gepoetst en kregen we nieuwe handdoeken. Gratis parkeren vlakbij je accommodatie. Airco in de woonkamer en op de slaapkamer.

De airco’s maakten veel lawaai. Een beetje ouderwetse inrichting. Gelukkig hadden we een huurauto. Het vakantiepark ligt wel wat afgelegen.

La struttura non è un resort ma un insieme di multiproprietà che vengo affittate e gestite centralmente; non c'è uniformità delle strutture e la nostra sistemazione era abbastanza datata; l'unico servizio incluso è l'accesso alle piscine. Ho provato a pagamento il gym center, pessima esperienza: personale inadatto nella gestione della clientela, il giorno seguente alla sottoscrizione dell'accesso alla palestra hanno modificato unimaterlamente gli orari di accesso senza darne nessuna comunicazione e rendendo impossibile l'utilizzo della stessa, senza fornire nessuna motivazione valida su tale modifica o scusandosi del cambiamento orario.. per concludere la peggiore esperienza è stata trovare una blatta che correva nel soggiorno mentre stavamo cenando in casa... disgustoso! Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo, resort a 4 stelle ?! Ma non scherziamo!

Location was great (much easier if you have a car) but even without, you can manage. Many restaurants around (you need to be prepared to walk or use their shuttle) , small supermarket, coffee shop/ bar on site. tennis club, great pools. Beautiful walks by the cliffs.

No pool towels but we managed. Some flats / house are probably better situated than others but ours facing the garden was great.

Como aspectos negativos está lejos de todo, incluso de la playa que está a un paseo y la playa más cercana está llena de algas y piedras Estuvimos en el apartamento 237, genial, super grande y limpio. Pero el colchón es super duro

Era bastante sossegado. O apartamento era um T1 para 3 pessoas (casal + 1 criança). Tinha tudo o que eta preciso. A varanda era espaçosa e ótima para uns jantares com vista para o pôr do sol. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo staff da receção que estavam sempre disponíveis para ajudar.

Beautiful clifftop resort with superb views and well maintained grounds and pools. Staff are very helpful and accommodating and food on site is of a good quality and reasonable value. We stayed for five nights and while the accommodation is dated, it is reasonably comfortable and cleaned every other day. Unfortunately as with other reviewers we had an issue with cockroaches in the bedroom - which was particularly upsetting for our young daughter and impacted our holiday significantly. This was despite us ensuring patio doors remained fully closed etc. It is for this reason we will not be returning.

Les + : les piscines, la vue mer exceptionnelle, la proximité de belles plages dans les falaises et Benagil à 2 pas, la taille de la villa et des chambres, lave vaisselle et lave linge à dispo, l heure tardive pour le départ, les jardins magnifiques, la proximité du chemin des 7 vallées suspendues, le ménage fait tous les 2 jours avec serviettes propres et lits fait mais....

Les - : le manque d'animation et de musique à la piscine et au bar, les prix excessifs de la supérette et du bar de la piscine, pour le prix nous aurions aimé un peu plus de "standing" dans le resort, le ménage devrait être un peu mieux fait, la cuisine était vraiment vieillotte (porte qui grince, poignée de porte presque démontée, placard sale, poussière...) si on avait payé moins cher on serait moins exigent ... Petits commentaires supplémentaires : une voiture est indispensable pour visiter le coin, et il y a peu de français dans ce resort....

The amazing location, as being completely immersed in green felt incredibly peaceful. Great facilities, such as the pools, sports courts, and the convenient food and drink options. A nice variety of room and apartment types to suit different needs. Scenic views. Great service with helpful and friendly staff.

However, it is worth noting that some apartments could use more maintenance and renovation to prevent issues with dampness and musty smells, particularly on the ground floors and in the bathrooms/toilets.

Apartamento amplio y curioso. Han ido poniendo parches, tiene de todo pero mezcla cosas muy antiguas con nuevas. Ubicación muy buena y personal de recepción muy atento.

El olor al entrar, la terraza y las amacas estaban bastante sucias, las puertas del armario las podrian cambiar ya que casi no se podían abrir, la tv de la habitación estaba pero sin conexión.

Il nostro appartamento era ubicato all'interno di un campus con 3 piscine, campi da tennis, palestra, ecc. Tutto è molto curato. Noi, tranne la piscina, non abbiamo usufruito dei servizi del resort. Il nostro appartamento era al 1° piano di ottime dimensioni. Ingresso, cucina in locale separato con piccolo balconcino di servizio, soggiorno ampio, bagno e camera matrimoniale. Ampio terrazzo in cui si poteva far colazione o pranzare/cenare. Personale cordiale e presente quando abbiamo avuto necessità. Abbiamo cenato una volta al ristorante del resort, rapporto qualità-prezzo direi buono.

L'interno dell'appartamento è un pò datato. Gli arredi sarebbero da cambiare (partendo dalla cucina). il nostro terzo letto (brandina), comodo ma in parte danneggiato (erano presenti dei ferri esposti del meccanismo di apertura)

Tivemos uma experiência excelente no Rocha Brava Resort! O atendimento foi exemplar desde o início, com uma equipe muito atenciosa, simpática e sempre disponível, inclusive oferecendo ótimas dicas de passeios e lugares para conhecer no Algarve. A localização é excelente, próxima a algumas das principais e mais bonitas praias da região, o que facilitou muito os nossos passeios. As instalações também são muito boas: o apartamento era confortável, com ar-condicionado e uma cozinha bem equipada e funcionando perfeitamente. Adoramos a estadia e certamente voltaríamos. Foi uma experiência muito agradável e que deixou ótimas lembranças da nossa viagem ao Algarve!

L’établissement est très accueillant, c’était très propre et très bien équipé. Le supermarché a l’entrée est très utile. Les bars et restaurants sont sympa. L’ambiance du village est très agréable avec des vacanciers aimable et souriant.

La Clim de la chambre ne refroidissait pas suffisamment, il faisait chaud.

Za mała ilość leżaków i parasoli w stosunku do liczby gości oraz nie reagowanie personelu na tzw „rezerwowanie” leżaków za pomocą ręczników.

קיבלנו דירה ענקית עם בריכה פרטית. הדירה מאובזרת בהכל. 3 חדרי שירותים. מטבח מלא בכל טוב.

התחזוקה קצת בעייתית. הידית של דלת השירותים נשברה לנו. מזל שהיה ארגז כלים במחסן.

Accomodation desperately in need of an overhaul… very dated (stuck in the 80s/90s) & definitely not 4star. Moved to a 2nd apartment due to 1st being unacceptable (dirty & ac in bedroom broken). Facilities are acceptable (Pools are nice), Gardens are pretty. Sports are available (at a price), onsite Restaurant is nice (although slow service/disorganised & a little on the expensive side)… the facilities are why this resort has been awarded 4stars, it’s certainly not 4star accommodation. I would not recommend (based on the accommodation standard).

We had a lovely stay. The resort is great, as are the services and gardens. We played pickleball with our young children which was great. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The nearest beach is stunning.

The beds were quite uncomfortable, and the house is a little tired. The on site shops are expensive, but convenient. If you have a car, its a short drive to a supermarket. Other than the uncomfy/ hard beds, that we loved it.

Estupenda ubicación. Muy bonito tanto el complejo como el entorno.

The bar next to the pool was very good, and so were the bus transfers into the town. Our favourite part was the access to the nice coastline views around the area, which were fabulous.

I feel like there was a lack of staff to show us around the area, resulting in us having to ask reception a lot of questions or being left confused.

Loved that it was close to many different areas in the Algarve we wanted to visit. It had great pools to pick from, large lounging areas around them, many activities for the kids to pick to do, beautiful landscaping throughout, easy access to hiking trails and a little market at the front entrance that was very handy to get some supplies for our stay.

Lo cuidada que está la urbanización y sus jardines. Destacó también la amabilidad del personal de recepción (Vitor fue un encanto). La ubicación es fantástica y un sitio espléndido, con unas vistas maravillosas. En el apartamento teníamos una play station para los niños.El tamaño del apartamento es sorprendente y lo equipada que está la cocina es de agradecer.

Mejoraría bastante la limpieza del apartamento, ya que era muy deficiente y superficial (había tierra, polvo, telarañas y migas). El colchón de la cama de matrimonio está para jubilar. Es casi imposible conseguir una hamaca en las piscinas, la gente reserva con su toalla desde primera hora de la mañana y, en algunos casos, no aparecen por la piscina o se van y vuelven a las horas. La comida de la cafetería de la piscina es de mala calidad y cara.

Resort oferuje całą wioskę domków położonych w cichej, obfitej w zieleń okolicę. Na miejscu dostęp do basenu. W pełni wyposażona kuchnia oraz ogromny taras z parasolami i leżakami. Bardzo cicha okolica. Doskonałe miejsce na wypoczynek. Dobre położenie na wybrzeżu Algarve.

Complejo de apartamentos con muy buena ubicación a un paso de las preciosas playas de la zona y de Carvoeiro. Alojamiento limpio, muy cómodo, con una piscina común y zona de descanso preciosa. La cocina está equipada con suficiente menaje y electrodomésticos para hacer fácil tu estancia

El mobiliario de la cocina y armarios de las habitaciones necesita reforma. Con unas instalaciones más renovadas el precio estaría más justificado

Le calme, sécurité et lieux touristiques

Upon arrival at Rocha Brava we were greeted by friendly reception staff who provided us with lots of information about the resort, things to do in the local area and useful guide maps. We paid for the safety deposit box in our room which was reasonably priced. Our apartment was located directly opposite reception, handy (or so we thought) as the resort is huge. Our second floor room was a good size for a family of four, included two balcont areas and was well equipped for our stay (fridge/freezer, washing machine, dining table, hair dryer, airer, tv...). The rooms were clean enough although there were a few ants in the kitchen and towels were changed every couple of days. Both bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning. We had been told upon arrival that the resort ran three free daily mini buses into to Carvoeiro town so after unpacking we headed down for lunch. The town was lovely, plenty of shops and restaurants although the beach is small. We had arranged for the mini bus to pick us up although the resort is walkable in about 40 minutes. The first night there it became clear that our location opposite reception was not ideal at all - the music from the on site bar next door to reception was so loud we had to to put earphones in to block it out. This happened on about five of the seven nights we stayed unfortuantely. We did go into tha bar for a bite to eat and a drink on one night however the staff were rude and dismissive so we didn't go back. There was also a lot of noise from people being dropped off / picked up and staff coming and going in the morning. The larger of the three pools was closest to our apartment and the only one we used during our time there. We never struggled to get loungers and there was a nice cafe bar too, the area was tidy and well kept, we didn't have any complaints about the pool at all. There is a handy supermarket on site, although expensive it was convenient for stocking up on water and essentials. There are also tennis courts and a gym on site although we didn't use these. We ate in the restaurant once, it lacked atmosphere but the food was nice if on the expensive side. There are a couple of beautiful restaurants I would highly recommend just outside the resort - and Indian called Pashmina, and a more traditional restaurant called Jardim de Farol - people were queuing to get in here so book a table in advance (well worth a visit). We had booked a lot of activities during out stay, many of which were in Albufeira (go here for Parasailing (highly recommend) / boat trips / water based activities) which is about 35 minutes by car -one thing I can say is that Ubers are far cheaper in Portugal - a 35 minute Uber costs about £17. An Uber to Slide N Splash £8, and Praia de Rocha (a huge beach) £11. Although there isn't a lot to do in Carvoeiro itself it is very easy and cheap to get about, everything we did was within a 30 minute drive of the resort. Overall an enjoyable stay but would have been so much better had we had a quieter room.

Obiekt ma już swoje najlepsze lata za sobą ale było bardzo czysto i bez problemu. Mimo że pierwszego dnia zepsuła się płyta indukcyjna to została naprawiona do 30 minut od zgłoszenia :)

El apartamento está preparado totalmente, tiene de todo. La terraza con vistas a la piscina, la piscina , el servicio de limpieza, las instalaciones, aparcamiento gratis... Una maravilla de lugar.

It was absolutely fantastic. Great service, everyone was kind. The facilities were well cleaned and taken care of. They provided a free bus from the resort to the center of Carvoeiro which was great. On the day of the checkout, we were able to store our bags and still keep enjoying the pool for the rest of the day! Loved everything!

The resort is very big and there are several pools scattered across the property. We had one just next to us. The apartment was spacious and had a very nice terrace facing the pool. The apartment had air conditioning in the living room and bedroom. Short walk to the beach.

The furniture in the living room was a bit dated, but I would definitely come back.

Location is lovely and has a relaxed atmosphere however, the cleaning and maintenance of the accommodation is dire. Absolutely definitely not up to its star rating on cleanliness or fittings. General things like cleaning and wiping down of surfaces before letting new guests in are not even done. Cushions on bed are stained, yet kept being dumped back on to the beds by housekeeping until I shoved them into the cupboard so they couldnt find them. The curtains all have dirty marks and sofas are stained. I bought mould killer and disinfectant to clean the bathrooms, which were gross with mould, and kitchen cleaner because otherwise it wouldn't have been hygienic to use, but i draw the line at doing all their jobs for them after spending upwards of 4k for a holiday. We had multiple cockroaches and bizarrely worms in the shower that kept coming throughout our stay. Fourth time here and definitely our last, as every year its going further and further downhill and cleaning is worse and worse. Cleaners come in and clean virtually nothing just flopping a dirty mop around the middle of the floor doesn't clean anything. Toilets, shower, bath and sinks werent cleaned by them during our stay. When we arrived the kitchen was still dirty with handprints from previous guests, grease and dust. The fridge, oven and microwave still had remnants of previous guests' food in. As we didn't fancy having E coli we cleaned it ourselves on day one. Literally no attention to detail at all by the staff. Needs a complete overhaul and simple things like lighbulbs that work, toilet seats that aren't chipped and harbouring bacteria, bathroom fittings should not be left rusty and broken. Clearly nobody actually checks that maintenance and cleaning staff are doing their job properly because these things are obvious as soon as you enter the villa. Seriously disappointed to the point we will not come back after spending previous years here.

Zeer gedateerde huisjes, echt oude meuk. Voelde allemaal een beetje smoezelig aan. Al veel te lang niks aan gedaan. Prijs versus kwaliteit is daardoor slecht, hier komen we niet weer. Het schijnt dat het ene huisje is opgeknapt en het andere nog niet. Ik kreeg de indruk dat de meeste huisjes aan een renovatie toe zijn. Maar daar heb je geen keuze in en de prijs is er ook niet naar. Ik kan het niemand aanraden.

Apartment 628's position is excellent. Pool facilities are good. Rocha Brava Coffee Shop is excellent with lovely staff and excellent food. We have been returning for over 20 years which should say it all.

One of the pools should be made adults only.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Lage an der Algarve perfekt.

2 adultos e 2 crianças, o apartamento era excepcional.Nos quartos os colchões eram super confortáveis, quartos com a/c. Limpeza de 2 em 2 dias, com troca de toalhas.

Deveria haver mais controlo de segurança nas entradas e saídas, e de quem frequenta a piscina. Apesar de haver câmaras de vigilância não é suficiente.

Había hormigas en la cocina, puesto que esta rodeado de jardines y césped del jardín. No me gusta que se anuncie la disponibilidad de Gym, y que al llegar al alojamiento te indiquen que debes pagar por usarlo ya que has reservado con booking. Una pena.

Simply Superb and peaceful resort situated in a quieter part of the Algarve. Rocha Brava is a huge resort spread over a cliff top area with three swimming pools and plenty of handy services within the resort, although a little pricey. We stayed as a family of four in Villa 203, two bedroom villa with garden area. We loved it! loads of space, right next to the big pool but private enough. The villa was as you expect when travelling abroad and had everything a family would need for a two week holiday. The only thing that was a little light was the housekeeping service, but this did not bother us at all as long as we got clean towels handed in. The only other thing we had to contend with was ants, but this was way better than last years cockroaches in Gran Canaria! The main pool is a fantastic space and was always very clean. Don't listen to other reviews about people reserving beds, this happens everywhere in Europe when the brits are in town! There was plenty of beds and we never struggled at all throughout our stay. It differed each day with levels of people, some days busier than others, but because of the surrounding area it never appeared too overcrowded. Be warned though, the pool is VERY deep at points, surprising for a family resort pool. There are also no staff at all around the pool area. Around the pool is a pool bar, tennis club and crazy golf. We signed up for pickle ball on one day which was a great experience for first timers, better than chasing tennis balls all over the court. Due to the location of this resort, the nearest main supermarkets are 10 minutes drive away, including and ALDI. We had a hire car which helped with these runs for shopping, be warned that if you don't then you will have to deal with the overpriced supermarket on site or the SPAR near by which is also expensive. Thoroughly recommend the car hire and this can be done at reception and the car brought to you. For our seven day hire it cost £145. The car allows you to visit nearby Albufiera, Alvor, Lagos, Villamoura and many more! Overall, a superb clean and well presented resort with superb accommodation and services. PROS: Clean, Quiet and beautiful resort Has everything on site you will need Main Pool is 10/10 Accommodation has everything and more! Carvoeiro Town is five euro uber ride Best Restaurant we visited was Pashmina (Indian and next to the resort) Also Primavera Restaurant was top notch! Book a Villa with Garden to ensure the most privacy and space CONS: Housekeeping is a little lighter than expected Onsite pool bar, coffee shop and supermarket are overpriced. Avoid. Not much just outside the resort (Other than the five star PASHMINA) so you will need to commute. Worst Restaurant we visited was Restaurant O Rede at the top of the hill on the way into Carvoeiro. You will love this place! Simply Superb!

As frequent visitors to Rocha Brava we had a great time again. Just a couple of issues regarding the main pool that would have improved things. Firstly people were putting towels on sunbeds early in the morning and not returning for several hours. Secondly people playing music loudly through speakers with no consideration for those nearby. It would be great if there cobe some policing of the pool to enforce a no reserving of sunbed rule and also to remind people of appropriate behaviour

El entorno, las vistas

La limpieza, nada. Hay cosas de menaje rotas como cuchillos, vasos.... Que no tiran .tuve un accidente con un cuchillo roto. La limpieza....mmmm.....no. nada bien. Los focos de la piscina grande están rotos en el mejor de los casos, o a medio arrancar que es peor. El paisaje, espectacular. Las vistas maravillosas

Localização, paisagens, sossego e estrutura.

La ubicación es fantástica para acceder a las playas y a la ruta d elos 7 valles directamente desde el hotel. A poca distancia de pueblos bonitos y playas variadas

No hay nada que no me gustara

Location is great and the resort area is beautiful. Pools are great. Toilet was modern though the sewers didn’t work very well.

The apartments decoration looked like it’s stuck in the 80’s. Old TV with no smart capabilities. No dishwasher which is unpleasant. Poor kitchenware (only three forks, dull cutting knives). Cleaning service was good, however the apartment should have some equipment for cleaning like a vacuum - a lot of sand comes in after a day in the beach which is difficult to clean with no equipment at all. The terrace is at the back next to the driveway and it was so small that the tables and chairs hardly fit on the terrace area - why not in front facing the garden? Some drawers were broken. The apartments are privately owned so they can be quite different - if you’re lucky you might get a modern one with a dishwasher and nice views from the terrace, if you’re not, you’ll handwash your dishes and eat breakfast looking at the driveway. Price is the same.

very beautiful area and a nice swimming pool

The staff isn't very friendly. The guys were mowing the grass under our window at 8 a.m. While we were having breakfast on the terrace, we put the food on the table and went to the kitchen for more groceries. The guy was mowing the grass, and the grass flew right onto our food. He saw it and simply ignored the fact that the grass was flying onto our food. The furniture in the house is old.
