Room was good - bathroom a little compact and my one pet hate is a shower curtain - very outdated. However it was very clean. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room. We would definitely return.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Très bel hôtel, conforme aux photos. Les espaces communs et les chambres sont très propres. Le déjeuner était excellent et offrait une belle variété, même si les choix étaient les mêmes chaque jour. Nous étions au 3e étage et avions un très grand balcon avec une magnifique vue sur la piscine et la mer au loin. Nous recommandons cet hôtel, qui est également très bien situé, à seulement quelques minutes de marche de nombreux restaurants.
Seul petit bémol : la piscine extérieure, dont les parois auraient mérité un peu plus d’entretien.

Personal eher unfreundlich, grüßt teilweise nicht. Frühstück ausnahmslos erst ab 8:00 Uhr. Wir hatten einen Ausflug geplant und wollten deshalb ein paar Minuten früher frühstücken. Obwohl um 7:55 schon alles fertig war ließ man uns erst um 8:00 in den Frühstücksraum, das Personal versperrte uns den Weg damit wir nicht reingehen konnten. (Etwas kindisch) Am Pool kann man eher weniger entspannen, laute DJ-Musik. Badezimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Duschvorhang, Föhn mit wenig/bis keiner Leistung). Wir reisen viel, aber Poolhandtücher nur gegen Kaution iHv. € 10,- finden wir für ein 4* Hotel unangebracht.

A piscina exterior com música às terças à tarde e o restaurante da piscina com boas saladas e outras comidas. Bons preços. Adorei.
O facto de ser Agosto, o hotel cheio e o estacionamento privado do hotel nem sempre tinha lugar disponível nesta altura

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Przepyszne śniadania, bardzo miła obsługa w szczególności Pan Claudio, ktory wszystko nam pokazał, oprowadził nas po obiekcie, wskazał co zobaczyć w okolicy. Bardzo duży parking, lokalizacja donra żeby zobaczyć wszystkie uroki Carvoeiro, blisko do wspanialych restauracji. Bar nad basenem również bardzo dobry, basen i leżaki wokół czyste i zadbane - nie mam żadnych uwag do tego hotelu, bardzo dobrze się w nim czuliśmy
Jedyna uwaga, że łazienki mogłyby być odnowione ale to nie jest jakis wielki problem

Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Da mein Freund sich vegan ernährt wäre Hafermilch beim Frühstück super

Check-In We arrived early and were aware that early check in depends on the departure time of the last resident. However, the lady at reception insisted check-in was at 3 pm. I asked would she take my phone no and contact me if the room became available earlier. She refused. We went out, had something to eat and sat in reception on our return. Approximately 1.30 or so we noticed that the people who were arriving were being checked in. We were being ignored in the reception area. I went back to reception and asked to be checked in and was facilitated. Cannot understand the awkwardness of my Check-In process.

Thanks for welcoming gesture😊.Swimming pool and beach bar are beautiful. Plenty of sun loungers. Amazing breakfast with plenty of variety. Good selection to choose from. If you lucky to get room with view to the pool, you will get stunning view to the see as well. Definitely would choose as my destination again.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026El desayuno es muy variado y reponen constantemente, la piscina esta muy limpia y no hay problema de hamacas, el servicio en general(piscina, comedor, bar, limpieza) muy bien y la ubicación del hotel muy buena en cinco minutos andando estas en en el centro del pueblo.
El baño es mas antiguo, tiene bañera y había azulejos rotos, y hay poca luz aunque estaba limpio. Ponía que el cheking era a las tres y no pudimos entrar en la habitación hasta las cuatro y media.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026O Hotel Mirachoro Carvoeiro tem, na minha opinião, dois pontos positivos: a localização e o pequeno-almoço, que, apesar de ser bastante repetitivo, apresenta alguma variedade.
Quanto ao hotel em si, sinceramente, não considero que valha os mais de 200 € por noite. Pelas condições atuais, na minha opinião, está mais próximo de uma residencial do que de um hotel com o nível que seria expectável para estes preços, parece-me que muitos hóspedes acabam por aceitar pagar estes valores sobretudo pelo facto de estarem no Algarve. Não pode ser que, em 2026, ainda se encontrem acomodações nestas condições, os quartos e as instalações estão antigos e deteriorados e precisam claramente de uma renovação urgente. O mais grave são os problemas no banho, algo que, aliás, já tinha lido em comentários anteriores, os chuveiros são velhos e a falta de pressão da água torna muito difícil regular a temperatura, transformando algo tão básico e essencial como tomar banho numa verdadeira dificuldade. É lamentável que, perante comentários anteriores a relatarem problemas semelhantes, aparentemente continue sem haver uma resposta adequada, um serviço básico como este deveria ser uma prioridade. Na minha opinião, seria fundamental que as entidades competentes verificassem estas condições. É uma pena encontrar um hotel nestas condições, principalmente tendo em conta os preços praticados. Fica a sensação de que, se não fosse pela localização, provavelmente teria muito mais dificuldade em manter-se no mercado.

El baño estaba muy anticuado, en la habitación habían fumado los anteriores huésped y olía a tabaco impregnado en las cortinas.

Should have a kettle/coffe machine at the rooms. Also iron and ironing board too.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Komfort łóżka i dobra kawa na śniadaniu. Hotel ma swoje lata, ale jest czysto i wszystko jest sprawne w pokoju. Klimatyzacja pracowała cicho, lodówka chodziła, meble w pokoju chyba niedawno zostały wymienione. Darmowy parking to duży plus.
Pierwsze wrażenie mozna zrobić tylko raz, do hotelu przybyłem po północy, po otrzymaniu kluczy spragniony udałem sie do baru, aby zakończyć podróż małym piwem. Zamówiłem waiss bier i o mało co bym nie zwymiotował, kwaśne z posmakiem stali, piwo sprawiało wrażenie jakby beczka stała tam od wiosny. Skutek był taki, ze juz nic więcej w żadnym z barów niczego nie zamówiłem. Patrząc wieczorem na frekwencję w barze hotelowym, to chyba więcej osób musiało mieć takie doświadczenie jak ja. Czest czytam opinie innych przed przyjazdem do hotelu i często sa one przesadzone, jednak kilka rzeczy potwierdzam: - drzwi w pokoju maja szczeliny przez ktore wszystko słychać, brak wody butelkowanej (ale w Portugalii chyba tak juz jest), śniadania wystarczający wybór, mozna zmieniać wlasne menu by nie było monotonii, jednak hotel czasami też powinien dać coś od siebie zmieniając gatunki wędlin, a kto wie moze zapodać raz w tygodniu jakaś rybę na kanapkę (w końcu jesteśmy nad oceanem).

Avisé de la hora del checking y aún así estuvimos esperando 1 hora y media, mientras los demás huéspedes llegaban más tarde y les daban su habitación. Y ni un perdón, ni un llamo a limpieza para cambiar la ruta, vamos lo normal pq yo soy manager de un Hotel también… Muy mala organización por parte del personal, de la manager concretamente que es quien tiene que coordinar a su equipo, sobre todo al de limpieza. Todos los días hasta las 18-19h no estaba la habitación lista… en fin. Estas cosas son las que re hacen no querer volver, aunque el hotel en si este bien.

O WC dos quartos são pequenos. O gel de banho e shampoo eram muito limitados. O isolamento dos quartos não era o melhor. Admirou-me deixarem levar copos de vidro para a zona da piscina.

La zona de spa tenía muchas cosas fuera de servicio en verano (solo funcionaba la piscina), igual que el jacuzzi que se encontraba en el exterior. El hotel está cerca de bares y restaurantes, pero la zona principal se encuentra al final de una cuesta bastante pronunciada.

Algunas recepcionistas eran un poco antipáticas. Fuimos a pedir unas toallas para ducharnos (ya que todavía no nos habían hecho la habitación y las anteriores estaban en el suelo ya que se salía el agua) y nos dijo que no, que no nos daba toallas, que teníamos que esperar a que el servicio nos hiciera la habitación (ya eran las 5 pm). Muy mal gesto y con cara de enfadada.

The parking was great to be able to have the car to explore the Algarve. The location was also good near restaurants and a quick walk to the beach.
We could not book a massage as the professional was not based in the hotel so it was difficult to find a slot that would suit.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice, and the pool area was absolutely amazing — a great place to relax. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was fresh, tasty, and had a great selection. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The staffs once again has nailed it , I'm a regular client and their service has always left me speechless .
I normally gets value for money but this time I had a smaller room and no sunloungers on balcony I think due to the size of it and may be overpriced compared to the rooms I normally have and as a valued customers . And more chicken and beef sausage at bfast for none pork eater 😉 No big deal just a heads up due to myself being an hospitality management team in the uk 😊

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Ubicación buena, un poco fuera del mogollo del centro de Carvoeiro, así que bien, aunque llegas en dos minutos andando al centro de Carvoeiro. La piscina está bien. Tienes un parking grande para dejar el coche, aunque si está lleno hay sitios cerca. El desayuno está bien también.
El baño es un poco antiguo, con bañera pequeña y cortina.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Buena ubicación, sin nada de ruido por la noche, por lo que se descansa muy bien y las camas con muy cómodas. La zona de la piscina y las hamacas muy tranquila, con bar para picar o tomar algo. Desayuno muy bueno, amplio horario y de calidad. Personal muy atento. Parking incluido en el precio.
El baño de la habitación necesita una reforma, no se corresponde con el resto del hotel, el WC muy elevado por lo que en ciertas ocasiones resulta incómodo.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Close proximity to all local amenities but very quiet and peaceful area also made for a good nights sleep. All staff and security were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned daily by the excellent cleaning team.
Ok so not “dislikes” more nice to haves as possible improvements. The spa needs a revamp The fact a 4* hotel has NO TEA or COFFEE making facilities in the rooms needs seriously addressing. Tip here is to take a short ride to “InterMarche” in nearby Lagoa where you can get a kettle for €15. No gym for the keep fit fanatics although there are loads of nice walks around the local area to be had. Although there is a pool table (€1) per game perhaps some additional games such as darts and football table would be good.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026El personal es super agradable, al recibirte te enseñan todo el hotel. El desayuno es muy completo y de buena calidad. Están reponiendo constantemente. Los camareros están muy atentos. El ambiente es muy agradable y los horarios son muy amplios. Lastima q no cuenten con servicio de almuerzo y cena. Aunque en el bar de la piscina ponen comida, no se cómo será pq no hice uso . La piscina está muy bien con muchas tumbonas. La habitación es amplia y limpia. Cuenta con una pequeña nevera q no enfría demasiado. Las camas cómodas con muchos almohadones. El secador de pelo es de tubo y el champu-gel son monodosis no de dispensador pero reponen.
Por poner alguna pega ,pues lo dicho ,q no disponga de media pensión o pensión completa y q la nevera enfría poco.

Un service de chambre non encore effectué à 16h. J'avise les deux femmes de ménage sur le départ en train de tout ranger pour leur indiquer. Elles semblent acquiescer. Pris d'un doute en ne les voyant pas arriver alors que toutes les autres chambres ont été faites, je leur réitère ma demande 10 minutes plus tard leur indiquant qu'elles peuvent y aller maintenant... De retour le soir, personne n'est passé, les serviettes sont restées au fond de la baignoire, la chambre pas faite... je demande alors à minima de nouvelles serviettes à l'accueil qui va s'enquérir. A signaler qu'après mon départ je reçois un mail de la direction me signalant que cet état de fait serait du à la barrière de la langue. A chacun de juger. Caution de 40 euros demandée pour deux serviette de plage

Nada a comentar, estava tudo perfeito, achei o preço um pouco acima da média mas também entendo que é em função da epoca em que fiquei, certamente voltarei em uma outra oportunidade.
