The property was in a great Location. 15 minute walk to the central part of town. The entire property was clean and well cared for. We booked a sea view with a patio and used it every day for coffee and wine. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had great showers and nice towels. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious!

Ideal location , great views over the bay , short walk into town , staff extremely friendly and helpful , rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean and spacious , breakfast good quality and plenty of choice , drinks tasty and reasonable prices .

You have to be careful crossing the road into town as it is on the corner and no path .

Beautiful and clean hotel. Location is tricky on the hill and tough to walk to town. AC worked great. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Staff was lovely, spoke English.

Nice views, nice room, nice pool, location is a bit far from town but not something too terrible, I guess you trade the distance for the quit surrounding and views.

We took the room with the balcony and sea views. You get great views but no privacy, the different balcony of the sea side rooms don’t have good separation so you kind of share the balcony with your neighbors, and also they don’t allow you to have sun beds on your balcony which is a shame. The staff is mostly friendly, but when we needed help for booking a taxi, they were a bit aggressive, we were a bit hesitant to book and said no when hearing the price and time available, and after a minute of thinking we reconsider and asked to book, they were angry with us we didn’t say yes when they asked first. I think they can simply say it not available anymore, even if it only a minute after they offered it, and not get angry with us.

The front desk staff were so helpful, they got us checked in early and helped arrange a taxi on check out day! The view was amazing and the room, bathroom, and balcony were exceptional!

Town within walking distance -about 15 mins. Lovely friendly staff. Room clean. Towels changed daily, bed made etc. Breakfast was buffet style which was fine. Great views from our veranda and elsewhere in hotel-of sparkling sea, Sorrento and Vesuvius in the distance. Lush foliage around verandas. There is an upper sun deck with loungers, even better views-fantastic view of the sun setting from there.

Only gripe was not enough storage in room-drawers in particular

Breakfast was very good with good offerings. Location has beautiful view of the sea. This is a bit of a trade off because you have a bit of hike to get into town and the return hike is all up hill.

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed having the small pool which provided excellent views of the sea. Room was spacious, clean and had a safe which we appreciated. The staff were very pleasant and spoke fluent English and was happy to answer question. We also appreciated having the breakfast offered and we ate it on the outdoor balcony. The walk into town took 20-25 minutes along the side of the road. Walking was preferred due to the high cost of taxi transportation.

Stunning hotel in beautiful surroundings, we stayed for 4 nights and wish it was longer. We stayed in a classic double room, really comfortable bed, great air con, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and a really large balcony area with stunning views. The staff do a wonderful job of keeping the rooms and surroundings areas clean. All staff are really friendly and helpful, the prices at the snack bar are reasonable for drinks and food, we didn’t eat there of an evening so unsure of that menu. The walk into Sorrento takes about 20 mins, yes the road outside is really busy but there is pavement for most of it. Sorrento itself is stunning and if I return I’d have no hesitation to stay at Hotel Miramare, thank you. The hotel breakfast was lovely consisting of pastries, cereal, breads, fruit, scrambled egg and bacon. Fresh fruit juice and a coffee machine available. The hotel had a really chilled feel, the pool was lovely for a cool down dip and again had a great view of the mountains and bay.

I loved the view and the style of the rooms. Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel was on an extremely busy and dangerous road. Made it quite difficult to cross.

No bathrobes, no make up mirrors, bad blow dryer, located a 35 min walk down a narrow lane. Scary crossing the street. Then a 35/40 min walk straight up hill. Breakfast was ok. Girl in breakfast area not friendly. Called for wake up calls, never came. 2x. Had mold on my top sheet. Expensive for what it provides. Pool freezing

Such a gorgeous hotel!! The view was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was fantastic! A huge selection of pastries. Eggs, juices, fruit, etc! The room was very spacious and the bathroom was nice too. They also have a full bar! Just loved this hotel!

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfasts were excellent and ans staff helpful

Could get a lot of road noise on balconies and outside spaces. Walking from the hotel required crossing a busy road on a corner with no pavements. Not for the faint hearted !

Location - 15 mins walk from busy noisy centre of Sorrento with amazing views. Modern clean. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Helpful front office staff gave us a list of restaurants and arranged taxi transfer to/from Naples Airport (air con Merc).

Only fault was only shampoo - no conditioner!!!

The room was spacious for 3 people and we had a great ocean view. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The facilities were kept pristine. We would recommend to family and friends.

Location was a bit long to walk to the town square and the sidewalks were very narrow. Too hot during summer to walk to town square so had to spend for taxi rides. Would be nice for hotel to offer shuttles to town square during hot summer months.

We liked the size of the room, and the updated bathroom and bedroom. The balcony was beautiful.

The hotel was a 25 minute walk to the center of town, farther than advertised. The hotel is on a blind curve and very dangerous to cross the road. The hotel staff was polite but not overly friendly. The breakfast spread was kind of disappointing compared to other hotels I stayed at.

I would have like tea making facilities in the room. The location was difficult to walk to from town. I think there could have been a free shuttle bus up to the hotel. Also the reception staff were not friendly at all and they were not helpful with getting around etc.

The only good thing about Hotel Miramare is its location — about a 15-minute walk from the center of Sorrento. 1. The soundproofing is terrible. We stayed in the top-floor room with a terrace, and the walls might as well have been paper. You can hear everything — conversations, footsteps, even when the neighbors turn on the tap. During our stay, the guests next door were showering and packing at 4 a.m., which completely woke us up. The staff didn’t offer any real help to resolve the issue. 2. Breakfast was very disappointing — no hot food at all and extremely limited choices. 3. The room had a very strong chemical smell after cleaning, making it unpleasant to stay in. 4. The hotel is poor value for money. Although we understand it was peak season, the overall quality is far below a true 4-star standard. 5. Durante il nostro soggiorno, gli ospiti della stanza accanto facevano la doccia e preparavano le valigie alle 4 del mattino, svegliandoci completamente. Il personale non ha offerto alcun aiuto concreto per risolvere il problema. 2. La colazione è stata molto deludente — nessun piatto caldo e pochissima scelta. 3. Dopo la pulizia, la stanza aveva un forte odore di disinfettante, molto sgradevole. 4. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero scarso. Anche considerando l’alta stagione, la qualità complessiva è ben al di sotto di un vero hotel a 4 stelle. 5. Il personale è apparso freddo e poco disponibile, senza mostrare alcuna accoglienza o attenzione.

The hotel is located near the downtown area of Sorrento. It is exceptionally clean, with rooms that are spotless and well-maintained.

The hotel is situated right next to a very busy road. Please exercise caution while staying here.

Une très jolie vue sur la baie de Sorrente. La chambre qui donnait coté piscine était grande avec une terrasse et à l'écart de la route ce qui était très agréable. Etablissement propre.

Le petit déjeuner était très basique, loin des standards attendus pour un établissement 4 étoiles. Il n'y avait ni œufs chauds, ni omelettes, ni œufs brouillés. L’offre manquait de produits locaux ainsi que de jus ou de fruits frais : tout ces jus semblait industriel. Aucun verre en vue, les boissons étaient proposées dans de simples gobelets. L’eau, quant à elle, avait une forte odeur de chlore, que ce soit celle du robinet de la chambre ou de la piscine. Pour les amateurs de thé, cela posait un vrai problème, car le goût était altéré par l'eau trop chlorée. Enfin, il n’y avait aucun parasol sur la terrasse, malgré la présence de transats, ce qui rendait l’espace difficilement utilisable en plein soleil. La piscine est petite proche de la route fortement fréquentée et très peu d'espace pour s'allonger.

A perfect hotel and a magnificent view

The location, it was only a 10/15 minute walk from Sorrento centre, the views are good from the restaurant terrace, the reception stay were nice and the rooms were clean and cleaned every day.

The hotel is situated next to a busy road and our room was basically on the first floor next to the road, we didn’t really sleep at all whilst we were there as the noise from the road was so bad - it sounded like we were sleeping on the street it was so loud! Our room key card didn’t work so we had to use an actual key to lock our room whilst we were there which was fine but the reception staff must’ve not told the cleaners our room required this as when we went back to our room after the cleaners had been our room would be unlocked. The air con worked but it never got cold, it was just mildly cooler than outside, it was ok as when we were there it was towards the end of peak summer so not as hot but don’t think we could’ve stayed with the air con not working properly in the height of summer.

Ottima colazione ricca e variegata. Camera insonorizzata e spaziosa con vista mare ma poca privacy se non si faceva attenzione a chiudere bene le tende. Panorama suo golfo. Letto comodissino e tv grande.

Piscina deludente mi aspettavo di più da quello che avevo visto dalle foto. Sembra sporca a causa del fondale in pietrisco. Poca attenzione alla pulizia e al decoro esterno della zona piscina. Presenza di insetti e cmq l'albergo è sulla strada quindi smog e non facilità di accesso con l'auto.

Очень красивый отель. Отличный номер, чистый, очень красивый и атмосферный с прекрасным видом, большая душевая и балкон. Отзывчивый персонал, всегда помогал во всем, что нам нужно было. Бассейн с видом на весь город, но вода была холодной и он не глубокий. Хорошие завтраки. Отель немного далековато от города, примерно 20 минут пешком до всего, но есть автобусы каждые 20 минут (нам это не составило труда)

На завтраке была прекрасная веранда с потрясающим видом, но к сожалению не удалось ей насладиться из-за ос/пчел, которые постоянно приставали к еде. *отель находится прям на повороте дороги, нужно быть очень внимательными при переходе дороги, лучше приезжать на машине

No restaurant - although over the road is excellent with a terrace overlooking the bay. A lot of steps. Entry and exit to car park scary. Not cheap

The soundproofing with next door room was very poor and we were woken up early morning by noisy neighbours. Otherwise we found the hotel very conveniently located.

Sniadania: jak to we Włoszech z reguły bywa coś na słodko, coś na słono (tost z szynką), kawa, soki i tyle. Bez wielkiego wyboru, ale dało się zjeść. Lokalizacja: pod względem widoku - przepiękny widok na całą zatokę, Wezuwiusz, w nocy, widać Neapol. Przepiękne. Z racji położenia na wzgórzu wymagało dojścia do Centrum oraz plażę - ok. 15-20 min spacerem. Całkiem przyjemnego, ale jednak wyjście na kolację trzeba było doliczyć ok. 1 godziny marszu w obie strony. Czystość: Hotel czysty, personel pomocny.

Basen mógłby być czystszy, śniadania nieco bardziej urozmaicone. Podobnie jak piszą pozostali, wyjście z hotelu jest dość niebezpieczne.

Our seaside balcony room had a stunning view of Sorrento and the Amalfi coastline!! The room was clean and had a very fresh feel with the simple white decor that captures the region's cultural style. It had high ceilings and AC that kept us cool and comfortable in the summer heat. The hotel has a pool to cool off as well, and the walk to the beach is quite reasonable too. It's only about a 20-minute stroll down to the main city centre where you will find a ton of restaurants and shops. We loved our stay at Hotel Miramare and would very much recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento!

The hotel is set on a hill with an amazing view. Pool was perfect after a hot day in the sun. Happy hour was pleasant out on the patio. We loved our stay.

Really enjoyed the stay we like to walk so it was conveniently located for us on the top of the hill and an easy walk down to town with lots of options for food. We even stayed in one night and just enjoyed the food and drinks at the hotel bar.

Excellent hotel only slight downside is that the hotel is on a fairly busy road apart from that all staff were amazing we had a garden room (401) with a sea view and what a beautiful sight every morning
