Accoglienza appena arrivati la signora era poco gentile e quando abbiamo detto che il frigo barin camera non andava e la luce del piccolo cortile fuori dalla porta finestra era fulminata

Buona struttura grazie all'impegno dello staff, Alessandra della reception, Pierpaolo, Catello, Andrea e Marco. Massima disponibilità e cortesia. La colazione è nella media delle strutture di questo livello ma vanno attenzionati più dettagli. La piscina dispone di lettini datati e anche qui andrebbero riviste delle cose. Le camere ristrutturate da poco sono molto pulite ed accoglienti. Il servizio di pulizia è top, con cambio giornaliero di biancheria.

Ristorazione e colazione nì... succhi di frutta e acqua serviti a temperatura ambiente, prodotti come crostate, plum cake e muffin sono palesemente acquistati al supermercato. Non manca qualcosa di tipico, migliaccio etc. Marmellate e cioccolata serviti nei barattoli di vetro... O in coppette di ceramica... Esposte al caldo e agli insetti... Le monoporzioni ormai sono imprescindibili! Molti arredi andrebbero rinnovati... Ombrelloni e lettini da sostituire.. Corridoi e ascensore da ritinteggiare... Da menu a la carte ci sono delle portate e poi viene servito altro. I clienti VANNO sempre avvisati se chiedono una pietanza e se ne serve un'altra di modo che possano scegliere.

Posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro di Sorrento in pochissimi minuti. Pulizia top. Rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo. Piscina esterna e solarium ben organizzati con servizio bar. Personale cordialissimo, dalla reception al bar fino al ristorante dove la gentilissima Rosaria ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa

Nice and clean, rooms at a perfect temperature after a long day exploring, friendly staff, lovely pool and sunbathing area, walking distance to Sorrento, very tasty and varied breakfast buffet and also next to a lovely restaurant for an option! Felt like we got excellent value for money and would definitely return for a third stay in the future. Highly recommend!

The staff are great, to be fair, and we’ve been really happy with the service. The one thing I’m not impressed with is the sun lounger situation. When you’re staying as a family with young children, having an umbrella and somewhere suitable to sit is pretty essential. I never thought I’d become the stereotypical Brit abroad complaining about sun loungers 😂, but it’s frustrating that the hotel takes bookings from non-residents for the loungers and they seem to get preferential positions and umbrellas. When you’ve spent a considerable amount of money staying at the hotel for the week, I do think hotel residents should get some priority — particularly families who need some shade for young children.

La cosa non piaciuta il comportamento di chi rispondeva della piscina, praticamente le sdraio erano spesso tutte occupate con effetti personali ma le persone non c'erano....il responsabile alla mia richiesta mi ha detto che non può fare niente..... peccato perché ha guadagnato tanto

Very comfortable and clean. We did late check in and they were very helpful. Great price and the hotel is super close to Sorrento main places to see.

Staff was amazing so nice and helpful the entire vibe of the hotel is wonderful!

If you want to be downtown its not the place for you but if your like us who want to be a little outside of it it is perfect. Taxis and bus is basically at your doorstep when needed.

Extremely comfortable and all the staff was exceptional was sad to leave!

We loved it but if you want to be close to the center of town its not for you but the bus runs by regularly and Taxis are always available to take you to town

Fifth visit to the hotel and no complaints!! Stayed in a superior sea view room. Great hotel, super clean, plenty of sun loungers and great service at the pool. Rooms cleaned daily and towels replaced. Special mention to Catelo in the bar who makes the best spritz. Looking forward to coming back next year, a home from home.

Wonderful hotel. Hotel was in a great location, just outside the main town with great views. Easy accessed by local bus costing €2. Rooms were clean and spacious with large balcony and tea making facilities. Good choice of food for breakfast and food availability from the bar at lunchtime. Evening meals in the restaurant at competitive prices. All staff were friendly and helpful, providing a great service. A special shout out to Castro who's local knowledge and recommendations were most helpful. Pool area and sun bed were mostly quiet and a great place to relax.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. During our stay, we had ants in our room on three separate occasions, including on our bed, which is completely unacceptable. We reported the problem every time, but instead of properly dealing with it, staff simply gave us a can of bug spray and expected us to sort it out ourselves. As paying guests, we should never have been expected to handle a pest problem. My friend and I are both teenagers, and it honestly felt like our concerns weren’t taken seriously. We asked if we could move to another room, but the manager told us there were no rooms available. While I understand hotels can be fully booked, no guest should be expected to sleep in a room with ants crawling around, especially on the bed. The lack of concern and effort to resolve the issue was very disappointing. A pest problem should be dealt with by the hotel, not the guests. Overall, the customer service was poor, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect base to explore and to relax amazing staff beautiful grounds and rooms, the balconies are huge. I never go back to the same place, but I’m planning on booking a solo holiday at hotel ketroole for next year and cannot wait

Pulizia e gentilezza

The hotel is very clean and most of the staff very friendly (particularly the bar staff). The quality of food was good. The selection on the menu wasn’t the best for me. The restaurant next door was very good too. The price of a pint at eleven euros was shocking. Never a problem with sun beds. The hotel is located at a busy junction but you seem to zone out the noise. The layout of the junction is scary and it is quite entertaining to watch the many near-misses. The main down side is the journey in to the town. The bus is only 2 euros can be packed like sardines. A considerable length of the road has no footpath which is also a bit nerve racking. We were charged 30 and 40 euros for one way taxi trips which were 15 minutes at the most. This took the shine off the location.

This place is just fantastic! The rooms are decent sized, there is everything you can think of! You have your own terrace with sunbeds, there is a pool which is just fantastic. Everything is super clean, the staff treat you like if you were royalty. I really-really enjoyed staying here. Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! 10/10 service, staff, room, everything. The breakfast is standard continental but tasty and fresh.

The hotel is relatively basic but the staff are so welcoming and friendly that it’s worth the stay. It was a little further out of town than I would have liked but I’d stay there again

The hotel itself is fine, clean, friendly and nice food. Lots of traffic noise though. My big complaint is that it is stipulated a 20 walk to the centre. There is no way it's 20 minutes for our age group ( in our 70's) and is is such a busy dangerous road too and no path for most of it. Even if we could have done it I am 100 % it would take much more that 20 minutes. There was a bus stop close by but that also means standing on the busy road with no pathright on a corner! Buses were crowded so no seats! We ended up paying 30 euros each way for taxis to get us in and out! I am sure this hotel could lay on a shuttle bus like the other hotels around it. Even if they had a small charge I am sure people would pay it happily.

Vynikajúci moderný hotel s izbami s výhľadom na more s bazénom a barom, s vynikajúcimi raňajkami a ústretovým personálom. Hotel je cca 25 minút peši od centra sorenta, ale autobusová doprava je pomerne častá. Veľmi dobrá reštaurácia je pri hoteli

Vzdialenosť k najbližším plážam je pre zdatnejších chodcov, ale nedostatok pláži je problém celej tejto oblasti

Rent och fint och fanns en liten pool. 20 minuters promenad in till stan. Några i personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Vägen in till stan hade inte trottoarer och var traffikerad av dödsföraktande galningar så kändes inte så tryggt att gå. Busshållplatsen var även den mitt i värsta traffiken så kändes också dåligt. Taxi var väldigt dyrt.

First impressions count, this hotel gave me really good feel, it is absolutely spotless, staff have been brilliant, they’re so friendly.We had back room overlooking vegetation and olive groves,ok not the best views but have had a lot worse views.Rooms really comfortable again spotless the house keeping team must take real pride in their work. My wife and I would stay here again in a heart beat. We have zero complaints and would recommend it highly.

Die Zimmer waren grosszügig und boten viel Platz.

Das Frühstück war eher einfach und konnte uns nicht wirklich überzeugen. Die Lage ist zudem etwas abgelegen. Ins Zentrum läuft man etwa 30 Minuten. Der Bus fährt unregelmässig, und wenn er bereits voll ist, muss man auf den nächsten warten oder halt zu Fuss gehen.

Struttura molto pulita e abbastanza comoda al centro di Sorrento (raggiungibile in autobus - fermata fuori dall' hotel). Personale cortese, buona la colazione con dolce e salato. Consigliato.

There’s nothing not to like…

Just returned from a weeks’ stay at The Metropole and we cannot fault it. Hospitality was excellent and the staff were so friendly and attentive. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing and the rooms were cleaned daily. Special little touches like a bottle of water left each day for us in the room and complimentary water, cakes and sweets in reception, came in handy after a long day out. We had a sea view and could see Mount Vesuvius which was lovely. So much to do and lovely places to eat. We ate in the hotel in one night and the food was good. The restaurant next door serves lovely food too. We didn’t find the road too much of a problem, we walked down everyday which takes about 20 mins to Sorrento and got the no 008 bus back which runs frequently and costs 2 euros each. Public transport is cheap but the taxis are expensive. The pool was lovely and quiet and was never a problem getting a sun lounger. We are looking forward to coming back.

Ho soggiornato una sola notte , il personale è gentile e accogliente . Credo che il lato più forte di questo hotel sia la pulizia nelle camere . La colazione buona ma potrebbe migliorare un pochino pochi cornetti a parer mio . Il resto tutto bene .

Room was big enough, cleaning was done every day, u get 2 bottles of free water every day, staff was friendly and joyful, specially the bar guys. I recommend the hotel for price vs quality.

It said that there is a single bed in the room but actually there were 2 single beds with a big bed sheet. DO NOT EAT AT THEIR RESTAURANT. The food was terrible. We tried the lasagna. They say in the menu that it's fresh homemade. It was something frozen, with some kind of small meatballs and sausages slices inside. It was brought warm'ish. We ate it because we were really hungry and they were the only option available there. I don't recomment the restaurant.

Hôtel facile à trouver et bien situé pour aller à Sorrente à pied. Le personnel nous a très bien accueilli. La chambre était bien équipée et très confortable. Puis nous avons profité de la piscine, malgré qu’elle ne soit pas chauffée. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était bon avec du choix. Nous recommandons cet hôtel et avons passé un agréable séjour.

Mi è piaciuto tutto: un'ottima colazione, un servizio impeccabile, un luogo piacevole immerso nel verde e un'aria meravigliosamente pulita. Se ne avessi la possibilità, ci tornerei volentieri. È un vero peccato che il soggiorno sia stato breve. Consiglierei questo hotel.

Posizione molto bella, in prossimità del centro di Sorrento, raggiungibile in 15 minuti a piedi. Accoglienza eccellente, upgrade della camera non richiesto e concesso. Abbiamo soggiornato il giorno del compleanno di mio padre ed ha trovato in camera ilun graditissimo dolce dello chef con candelina!!!!

Hårda sängar och kuddar. För att gå till hotellet måste man gå en bit efter vägen utan trottoar där mycket bilar körde. Lite högljutt utanför fönstret då bilvägen går precis utanför.

Hermoso y muy confortable hotel. Ubicación tranquila, a pocas cuadras caminando del centro de Sorrento. Desayuno excelente, muy buenas instalaciones (La vista de la habitación al mar y el Vesubio es maravillosa). Personal muy amable y atento a cualquier necesidad. El estacionamiento disponible en el lugar es otro punto a favor. Además cuenta con un muy buen restaurant con excelentes platos y muy buena atención.

Mi è piaciuto davvero tutto: struttura molto curata e pulita, posizione comoda per visitare Sorrento e la Costiera, camere confortevoli e ambienti ben tenuti. Il vero punto di forza però è stato lo staff: tutti estremamente gentili, disponibili e attenti, ci hanno fatto sentire accolti dall’inizio alla fine del soggiorno

Onestamente nulla, il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e non ho riscontrato aspetti negativi

Muy amable la gente de recepción. Llegamos muy temprano (al medioda) y nos dejaron ingresar a la habitación. Nos dejaron ingresar al restaurant cercano al horario de cierre. Muchas facilidades dentro del hotel y la atención es excepcional. Las habitaciones son super cómodas y bellísimas. Nos asesoraron en recepción con los horarios de tren. Realmente muy amables y muy bello el hotel.

No esta tan cerca de la estacion de tren y de los colectivos que van a la costa amalfitana. Pero solo como observación, lo demas es excelente.

Air con appeared to have been disabled meaning the room was stuffy. Opening a window all night is not an option due to the excessively high volume of passing traffic all night long
