Our room was beautiful and the breakfast buffet was amazing

As the hotel is located across from the Phillipino markets, it was quiet often smelly of rubbish and old fish

The staff are very well trained on hospitality skills. Sea view from the room beyond words to describe.

Un ringraziamento particolare va a tutto il personale, che si è distinto per la grande cortesia, disponibilità e professionalità, facendoci sentire sempre accolti e coccolati. I servizi dell’hotel sono di ottimo livello, curati e ben organizzati. Una menzione speciale merita anche la colazione: ricca, varia e di grande qualità, con un’ampia scelta in grado di soddisfare ogni gusto. Nel complesso, un soggiorno estremamente piacevole, reso ancora più speciale dall’attenzione e dalla gentilezza di tutto lo staff. Assolutamente consigliato!

L’unica nota leggermente stonata riguarda le camere, che mostrano un po’ il passare degli anni e avrebbero forse bisogno di un ammodernamento. Detto questo, sono comunque dotate di tutto il necessario e soprattutto impeccabilmente pulite, aspetto per noi fondamentale.

The parking deserves some cleaning. And the entrance has a swarm of birds that would constantly poop at the guests cars. Our car’s front was covered in white

Breakfast is absolutely amazing; the seafood asam pedas during breakfast is truly the best.

The hallway leading to the room feels a bit dim and somewhat creepy. Adding more lighting or music in this area could enhance the atmosphere and make it more inviting.

Alles was voor ons perfect, super fijne, mooie ruime kamer. Bed, douche en uitzicht op de zee was geweldig. Het personeel waren vriendelijk. Zwembad en gym was geweldig. Hier hadden we nog wel langer kunnen verblijven dan een week. En niet te vergeten, een hele mooie zonsondergang.

Kunnen we niet bedenken.......

Mooi hotel met heerlijk zwembad, heerlijk eten en het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid

海景房，床舒服，早餐豐盛，房間整理好也可以提早check in! 12點退房，也很不錯！ 頂樓的酒吧建議要預約，落日前蠻多人的！很美！

淋浴間會積水，水量不大，房間內的水是玻璃瓶裝，不是提供一般塑膠可帶走的水！ 游泳池的浴巾不能帶進房間，也沒吹風機可用，這點很不優！以這樣的價位來說，cp值不高！

The hotel is centrally located on the waterfront and close to restaurants and bars. The views from our room of the harbour were mesmerizing and had to pull ourselves away from. The pool facilities were shaded and the staff at the bar very friendly. The rooftop bar is the best place in KK to watch the sunset! The breakfast and room facilities were all above average.

They gave us a free upgrade to a sea view room, which was a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and clean. Great location in the centre. All the staff were very friendly. The pool area is nice. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice.

We ate in the restaurant one night and there were very few vegetarian options available.

Great location central to everything. Wonderful helpful staff. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from.

Rooms are quite dated. Shower door didn’t close properly and paint peeling from ceiling in bathroom.

I like the sauna and steam , room was quite good as well.

Breakfast was quite busy and had to wait just to get a table, but food were delicious.

The location was perfect a great spot for watching the sunset and wandering out for dinner/drinks at the waterfront and exploring the market. The room was beautiful and really comfortable we all loved the sea view and the pretty lights in the room. All the staff were all really friendly and helpful and kind.

The pool area is very run down it needs an overhaul of the decking seating and good really do with an upgrade for the level you expect for this hotel.

Location was fantastic and central to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were a bit dated. Shower doors didn’t close properly so water leaked out. Reading lamp didn’t work properly. Paint peeling off the ceiling in bathroom.

The property was in a very good location - close to the beach and close to all the town sights. Easy transport access with taxi's, and walking distance to the wharf for day tours to the nearby islands. The breakfast buffet was awesome, and the room was very comfy. The staff are what made the stay pleasurable. Everyone bent over backwards to help with any questions we needed answered, and nothing was an issue for the staff at all. Each morning we were greeted by Anna who was very pleasant and helpful at breakfast time, as were many others throughout the day. It made a good stay even greater. The pool was good as it has a shade cover - which you need for the hot sun. There was a bottle refilling station and they use glass bottles - heaps less plastic used which was great to see too.

Najlepsza obsługa hotelu z jaką miałem kiedykolwiek do czynienia. Obsługa zawsze pomocna, miła, uśmiechnięta, zarówno w recepcji jak i w restauracji, inne hotele winny brać z tego przykład. Pomoc w organizacji wycieczek. Śniadania ok. Super widok z rooftop bar.

Szkoda, że basen nie został zaprojektowany na wyższym piętrze.

Trop cher pour ce que c’est. Il y avait une odeur de poubelle à la piscine pas du tout agréable. Le spa a une capacité de 2 personnes maximum et toujours full.

This hotel was amazing, my wife and I really enjoyed it. Rocky, the concierge couldn't do enough to keep us happy.

The breakfast spread was excellent. The staff was friendly and did their jobs very well. However, there are 3 matters I wish to highlight: 1. The security box was not working so I called for it to be rectified, A technician came, inspected it and thought the batteries were faulty and so were replaced. The safe box worked but after a short period the safe faulted again. The matter was again reported and 2 technicians came to have a look. After inspection, they reported that the box had been replaced with a different box and the replacent was working well. However, after a short while the box was faulty again. This required me to report the fault for the third time. A technician came and located and rectirfied the fault. 2. The shower floor of Room 1306 has a level which cannot drain the water after a shower. The floor is always flooded after a shower, making it slippery and dangerous. Although the chambermaid always wiped the foor during room cleanini, i suspect the faulty floor level was never reported. 3. There was a time when I dialled "0" for service and the telephone was not answered. I telephoned 3 times before someone responded. This experiebce was annoying and disasterous in emergency situations.

Breakfast was not as good as other places. The rooftop bar is amazing but the live music was earsplittingly loud when we were there which detracted from the relaxed vibe of a gorgeous sunset.

For our first stay in Borneo after a long travel we really wanted a bit more luxury for the first nights. And Le Meridien gave that. The room is great with a stunning view over the ocean. The swimming pool really nice and the breakfast exquisite 👌. We love The Meridien and highly recommend it.

O hotel é excelente, acomodações ótimas, rooftop perfeito para tomar um drink ao pôr-do-sol.Staff excelente, o funcionário Malcom foi extremamente atencioso no check-in, deu várias dicas e disponibilizou check-out tardio, já que sairíamos à noite. Pudemos usar a piscina mesmo após o check-out, sem custo, e foi disponibilizado quarto para troca de roupa à noite. Breakfast fantástico, estilo buffet. Locallização perfeita, em frente ao Mercado Público e Waterfront, com vista estupenda da baía. Fácil acesso a todas as atrações

Spacious room and bathroom. The sea view room had a nice view, you can watch the sunset (much better than the city view). The hotel is located close to a number of markets, where you can buy fruit and eat seafood. It was also a short walk to Gaya Street. Good breakfast with a variety of dishes (though the quality of the fruits could be improved).

The proximity to the fish market means there is an unpleasant smell near the hotel entrance. The entrance is designed for cars rather than pedestrians, and we saw a big dead rat not far from the entrance.

Der var nogle småting. Kunne have ønsket flydende håndsæbe, sæbe til badekaret (man kan ikke tage shower gel ud af bruseren), toiletsædet var skævt sat på, spuleren ved toiletet var meget lav vandstråle. Der manglede at man kunne logge ind på fx Netflix på tv’et.

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. The hotel's location is excellent, with shopping malls, restaurants, and other amenities within easy walking distance. The area is lively and always bustling, largely due to the market located directly across the street, which adds to the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Overall, I would recommend Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu for its comfortable accommodation and convenient central location.

One minor drawback is that there is a noticeable fish smell near the entrance of the building. However, this appears to be unavoidable given the proximity to the nearby market and does not affect the rooms or overall quality of the stay.

Love how spacious the room is, the staffs are extremely friendly and accomodating, the location is very central and conveniently located right across a market and the sea, selections of hotel breakfast are huge.

My only complaint was the gym was closed until further notice during my stay. Was about to do few pumps in.

Big horrible stains on the carpet in our premium room. Shower don’t work correctly temperature was almost impossible to find a middle. Bath also the same.
