Struttura un po’ datata per cui andrebbe rinnovato soprattutto in alcuni spazi comuni .. ma è comunque confortevole ed elegante

Everything was perfect!

The in room dining took almost 2 hours just for an order of a mushroom soup and an iced latte. I think the hotel should buck it up its in room dining services to be on par with its overall excellent performance

Tutto molto bene come ci si attende da un albergo di livello. Colazione ricca e di buona qualità. Camera impeccabile: materasso, cuscini, bagno.

どこにでもすぐにアクセスできるところ。飲食店やコンビニ、スーパーも徒歩数分で行けるので、非常に便利だった。スタッフもみんな親切で、ニコニコ対応をしてもらえて良かった。

設備がとにかく古い。最初はハイアットなのに、この古さはなんなの！とかなりがっかりしていたが、2日目以降は立地が良いので設備は気にならなくなった。

The buffet was superb! The Lounge was also fabulous and a great way to end the day.

We were on our honeymoon and loved much the room we upgraded too which was spacoius and had a sea view. The Club lounge had professional staff and good varieties every day, i would suggest they have vegan options and soy milk or oat milk as well.

The room were pricey and didnt match the outdated furniture or the uncleaned carpet, but that was it, everything else was worth it of course

Perfect location- markets, waterfront, jetty to the islands, shopping and restaurants. Restaurant in the hotel is amazing, so were the breakfasts. Lots of space as well.

We got a free upgrade for our room, the room was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of sockets in the room for us to charge our equipment. Too bad I made mistake booking a room without sea view, I expect the view to be exceptional.

We had to pay for the parking and the parking was a bit small and we had to climb a few steps of ladder to reach the lobby. Luckily our luggage were small.

The location was great and the staff were really friendly. The pool was also really good.

Unfortunately the hallway and our bedroom smelt quite strongly of cigarette smoke. The breakfast selection was not great for westerners & vegetarians.

Breakfast was good., although the rolls were hard - but the fresh bread excellent. Room need more checks like one of the closet door did not turn the light off as the sensor was out of alignment, and the weighing machine needs battery level checked.

Better check list for facilities provided and ensuring all lights and switches functional. The message button was on (flashing) during my whole 2 night stay.

Looking a little tired

Exceptionally clean room, well-appointed, and had everything you could need. Excellent location, and two steps outside, you are at the seafront. Lovely private pool area for guests and the breakfast options were plenty and delicios (though i would aim to get there >1h before they close as otherwise things run out). Evening retaurant options are also very good- if you are a guest you get half price. A very good nasi lemak and nasi goreng!

I could not speak more highly about my 8 day stay here. The location is perfect with views of the waterfront and sunset; the hotel was very clean; the bed was incredibly comfortable; the food and drinks in the restaurants were delicious, plentiful and high quality; and the staff were kind, caring and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in KK - wonderful for solo travellers, couples or families.

The staff in the regency lounge were excellent. We requested to move to a higher floor due to outside noise and this was done without question. The choice of food in the regency lounge was varied every evening and good quality of food and choice.

Floor 5 executive king suite was too noisy on the Friday night but nothing the hotel can do about this.

It’s a bit dated for the price but it’s okay :) The balcony overlooking reception is just silly. There was not enough place to hang dry clothes

The food was amazing, we ate here almost everyday during our 5 night stay and they have a great variety of options and everything is cooked really well. The view from our room was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, as is the sunset view from the pool. The gym, sauna and steam rooms are all well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful and were excellent at helping me with food options catering for my allergies.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience with World of Hyatt at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the comfort and hospitality provided. One detail I genuinely value is that the hotel still provides a water hose in the bathroom. This is something many international and 5-star hotels no longer offer, yet it makes a significant difference for Muslim travellers like myself, as it brings a sense of ease and comfort, just like being at home. The hotel is also very well located, with easy access to seafood spots and nearby attractions such as Anjung Kinabalu, making it convenient for guests to explore and enjoy the local experience. I hope the hotel will continue maintaining these thoughtful features, as they truly enhance the overall stay. Thank you again for the wonderful service.

Use a Vacuum cleaner Cleaning the lobby and atrium at midnight. Call the frontdesk but still make a lot of noise

Rooms are tired with a few maintenance issues. We also found toe nails on the carpet when we checked in :( The drop-off entrance and parking area looks run-down.

It is located in the heart of the city. Hotel is well maintained and experienced staffs are helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. Will recommend my friends and love ones to come here.

Lovely staff. Evenings go by the pool and watch the sun go down over the ocean with the bar serving you a beer. Facilities are clean and easily functional. Reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff are always smiling and willing to help. Everything near by. Boardwalk literally across the street.. Highly recommend visiting the hotel. Really enjoyed my stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Kota Kinabalu, and it was a truly exceptional experience! The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Location fantastic. View across the street the waterfront. Shopping centres, food etc within walking distance. Staff helpful and polite. Discounts on food and drink if you are staying there. Huge room. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing

Location: walking distance to many places. Went to the weekend Gaya Night Street Market and Sunday market. Just 2 blocks from the hotel. Suria Sabah shopping mall also a couple blocks from the hotel. The Todak food market also 20ish mins walk. Room space is big! Our standard room was also upgraded to City View room :) Staff: very warm and welcoming. Informative and very helpful.

A wonderful welcome from the team at Hyatt Regency and this made our Hari Raya celebration in Kota Kinabalu even more memorable and special. For us the greetings at the front desk is the beginning to a great/not great start. The staff genuine enthusiasm is key to make you feel welcome or otherwise. Arrival at Hyatt Regency was definitely a warm genuine welcome and our immediate thoughts - we will be back to Hyatt Regency for our next visit to treat ourselves and to be happy for the service we pay and receive. Thank you Hyatt for your hospitality and care. If you happen to be there during hari raya, don't missed out for their Hari Raya Buffet Dinner, delicious culinary experience for sure. We are definitely happy with our stay and the food and service we received.

We came back to stay here after 10 years, and it was just as memorable. We were in KK for four nights and chose to spend our final night here. One thing that stayed with us all these years was the buffet—and it certainly lived up to expectations. It’s easily one of the best hotel buffets. I’m not usually a buffet person, but we ended up enjoying both the dinner and breakfast, and the variety and quality were excellent. The rooms may not be as modern as Hyatt Centric, but the service we received more than made up for it, it was truly warm and attentive throughout our stay. The pool, bar, and spa facilities ticked all the boxes, making it a relaxing experience. As members, we also received some discounts, which was a lovely added bonus. There’s also a great café next door that’s worth visiting. Overall, a wonderful stay and one that brought back great memories.

A little more vegan choices for meals.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. As if the location wasn’t already enough. Our biggest thanks to Shohel who kept our room so clean and tidy with beautiful flowers and towel sculptures on the bed. The resort was quieter than normal due to the Iranian conflict, I hope their livelihood returns soon when flights and people transiting through middle ease can return safely.

As my wife and I leave after sixteen days at the Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu, I'm struck with how much this location has grown on me over our stay. On first appearance, it seems like an old and dated location. It opened in 1981, so it does show some wear versus many of the new Hyatts we've stayed at. However, I've reminded myself not to judge any hotel by first impressions, because this hotel got better and better with each day we styed. The food is outstanding and everyone at Tanjung Ria restaurant practices a high level of service excellence, welcoming us by name each day with big smiles and kindness. Although the gym was under renovation during our stay, we appreciated being able to walk to the Hyatt Centric for use of their facilities, and took full advantage of that. We fully enjoyed the Gaya Street Api-Api Food Market on each Friday and Saturday we were there and went snorkeling twice at Tunku Abdul Rahman, once on public ferry and the second time with Borneo Dream, which I HIGHLY recommend. I was given great advice by the front desk for getting my laundry cleaned off-site at Kye Laundry, a much appreciated referral that I would give to other guests. As a Hyatt Globalist, my status was recognized with an amazing suite upgrade (low occupancy season), and access to the Club Lounge. Chef Rashi was cooking in the lounge during our stay, and he is one of the best resort chefs I’ve seen. His cooking is outstanding, he anticipated when things needed to be refreshed, kept the food full and hot, and showed a great deal of pride in how the buffet looked, always stirring, rearranging, cleaning dirty tongs, and helping the guests have the best food experience. If I still had my catering company, I’d try to steal him as an employee 😆 AND, our room really MADE the stay, waking up each morning to a waterfront view, the boats coming and going, as well as the evening lights on the water. It was a BIG part of our enjoyment. We will definitely return. This is a bargain location for Globalist members that you should not judge until you enjoy ALL it has to offer.

I requested a lighter to light my daughters birthday cake but after a very long wait, we only got a box of matches. And the box of matches didnt even work so my daughter had to celebrate without a lit candle.

建物は年季が入っていますが、さすがはハイアットさん！という安心感があります。 スタッフの方々の立ち居振る舞いがとても自然で、決して押しつけがましくないのに、こちらが必要としていることをさりげなく察してくれます。 朝食のレストランでも、ラウンジでも、廊下ですれ違う時でさえ、温かな笑顔と丁寧な挨拶。 滞在しているうちに顔を覚えてくださり、「今日のドレスも素敵ですね」と声をかけてくれたり、体調を気遣ってくれたりと、細やかな心配りが随所に感じられました。 私が急に体調を崩してしまった際にも、適切にアドバイスをいただき、クリニックへの付き添いまでしてくださいました。 海外で体調を崩すと心細いものですが、スタッフの皆さんの温かいサポートのおかげで安心して回復することができました。

Breakfast buffet was more of the same things everyday. Roti chanai was too thick. After the second day I was getting bored. Rather go out n hv variety outside for a fraction of the price
