Room was filthy, hair on the wall in shower and gunk on the head board above one of the beds, and the floor wasn't even swept! And no one around to complain to!! And when we did, kinda felt blown off!

I hoped to enjoy the pool facilities however; the hot tub was disgusting. My kids got in and immediately out. They smelled, hairs and film stuck to them and they felt "sticky". The pool was decent but did not seem clean. In my room it smelled and the mattress was too soft to sleep on. I maybe got 3 hours of sleep a night.

The location and the free parking were about the only positives.

The overall facility was filthy. The pool and hot tub were disgusting. The room was gross - we found what appeared to be poo on the floor. The entire floor in our room was sticky. The breakfast was not what is shown in the pictures.

Really like the size of the room, but the bed was really broken down some of those rooms probably need new beds I know mine did, the remote control for the TV it was terrible put new batteries in it and was the same terrible had to stand directly in front of the TV to change the channel other than the Bad and the TV everything else was good

For two nights and two full beds, the value was good.

The room we had (300 I think) had a broken screen, so we were unable to open the window without bugs getting inside.

We stayed for a week and the garbage piled up and I had to ask for bags and where to get rid of it. Ran out of toilet paper in our room. The hot tub was terrible it was extremely foamy and dirt ring around the edge and on the foam

We know someone came in and remade the bed but didn’t change the bedding. It was all sandy and the floor was sandy too. It hadn’t been cleaned with a wash cloth even left on the floor.

The pool water was really cold 🥶 We just want a hotel with pool for the kids and get that. Cold water horrible we don't going to stay there anymore.

The breakfast was very simple but good. We were happy to have hard boiled eggs on our third morning. Service was a blessing, I think her name was Trish. She was very helpful, pleasant and hard at it. The bed was comfortable and quiet in our area.

The hot tub was not functioning. There were no instructions for the tv in the room and no local dining suggestions or hotel welcome guide in print. Most beach hotels have tide tables available.

Room not cleaned. Bed mattress old and worn out. The room was not dusted. Bed comforter had red spots in it and sheets looked unclean. A staff member entered the room unexpectedly, luckily my wife and myself were not undressed. Our towels and washcloths were not replaced the next day.

Little things, like the basket was missing from the coffee maker in my room and the back was missing from the remote control in my friend's room. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as I'd like.

My room was not ready until 5pm when check in was supposedly 4. I was given an hour later for checkout.

Pillows were pretty worn and small and there seemed to have been sand in the bed and we washed are feet before getting in.

The furniture was horrible. The bed was so soft that we woke up really sore, the chairs where also so low that it made it had to get up and the ottomans where taller then seats of the chairs, so kinda worthless.

How close it was to the beach and the lake

They charged me extra when I got there, it was only a few dollars but still it should have been all paid for online then when I get there they want to charge me again, also my room wasnt ready when they said it would be and they moved me to another room with zero view

Very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism or customer service skills from the man running the front desk. Completely rude and dismissive. Will not be returning.

I liked the patient staff at the front desk and the lobby/gift shop area.

The room smelled overwhelmingly of a perfumery cleaner. The plastic toilet seat in our room was bubbled and peeled from some kind of chemical reaction. It should have been replaced. The shower made a high pitched whine that was very aggravating. There were visible stains on the love seat in the room. But the very worst part was the pool area. The hot tub had about a foot of gross foam all around the perimeter. The foam had dirty brown areas and the edges of the hot tub had a lot of mold. The pool was filled with children and while many parents were there supervising, there was repeated running and cannon balling into the pool. It was like a dirty and chaotic circus. Sadly we did not enjoy that highly marketed feature of our stay.

One of the night managers was very helpful and friendly. It was one of the more budget-friendly places in town.

They charged you a $7 fee per day on top of what booking.com charged. The room was not very clean there was trash under the beds. The waffle iron for the continental breakfast was filthy. Also we requested an ADA room and was supposed to have a walk-in shower and that was not the room we were given

The property was clean, and our room were spotless.

Oddly the mattresses were so squishy, that it was unsafe and not stable to get in and out of bed. I was concerned my elderly mother was going to hurt herself.

The staff by far made the experience. The night prior we had stayed at the Surftides and was a horrible customer service experience. The staff at the Ashley were great, especially Daniel who was informative, knowledgeable, took care of getting us extra sheets and blankets, pleasant and just great. Any staff we asked for help was willing to answer questions. Great customer service. I also like the soft couch seating in the pool area.

There wasn't anything I "didn't" like persay. But as someone with Diabetes, it would have been nice if they expanded their free breakfast to include some sort of protein. It was basically just muffins, cereal, and waffles. But for the price free breakfast anything fits well with in book and the kiddos loved the waffles.

The staff was nice. There was a women who helped me during breakfast as i was struggling moving my children to different seats, and there was a man who helped us when our card wouldnt open the pool room.

There was a bad smell in the room upon arrival. I tried to open the windows to clear it, but the window screen was not all the way in and my toddler kept insisting on looking out and leaning into it. There was very thin bedding. The TV wouldn’t work, it kept saying “service unavailable”. The body wash in the shower was empty. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was colder than devils lake was earlier in the day and it also really needs a deep clean (people are writing in the grime on the tiles!). It does resemble the photos however the paint on the ground of pool is peeling off and the front desk is outdated. Breakfast bar was a good feature but there were no labels on anything so we weren’t sure what to use for cereal. Walls were paper thin and some guy was aggressively yelling at another person for over two hours, the room above us had someone walkingback and forth all night

Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The room was spacious with a large counter area. We had two queen beds with a couch and chair as well! Plenty of storage space. There was a hand soap dispenser which I prefer over a bar of soap for washing hands. Staff was friendly. Able to get our room more pillows despite being busy. The market by the front desk offered a variety of snacks, food, and drinks along with other items.

The walls were very thin. We had a connecting door between our room and another and the kids in the other room kept opening it and rattling on the door and screaming. The shower made a really loud noise while it was on which may bother others sleeping. Our body wash dispenser was broken. Our toilet clogged from a small piece of toilet paper. On the weekdays there was no hot breakfast and it was always the same which I feel should be different if I’m paying an amenity fee for each day. Keycards erase easily if too close to a magnet, even with the sleeve on. There’s no housekeeping while you stay unless you request. I did ask for my trash to go out and we were gone for over 12 hours and came back and it was still full. The hot tub looked dirty on our last night there, you could see it in the foam.

The older gentleman at the lobby desk could be nicer . Breakfas was terrible and in a small and very crowded room. The sink is outside bathroom (?). There is zero shelf spsce in the bathroom, so you don't even have a space to leave your clothes or glasses when you take a shower. The shower was noisy. There were sone stains on the bedsheet.

The breakfast was fine, coffee really good! The location is perfect, in a safe area and to everything.

Dirty, rude staff, wrong room given and nothing they could about it. Bed didn’t have the correct size sheets and they couldn’t find ones to fit. Ran out of breakfast options Hotel staff made guests wait for a second elevator so they could go first. No clock in pool room, employee came in and yelled “get out, it’s closed” and glared at everyone as they dried off and gather their belongings. I could go on and on

I loved the location to the beach and stores it was ideally located. Everything was clean and done nicely in the room.

I wish the breakfast area had some dairy free milk options to go with your coffee. The pool area was nice until all the family’s and kids came in running around acting crazy and splashing you or screaming. They really should have family set hours and kid free hours for those who don’t have kids can enjoy some quiet pool time.

I really loved the family suite. Was very comfortable. Staff was great as well! I would only recommend a way to get quarters easier from the front desk to do laundry and maybe some more noise buffers like carpets in the rooms so it absorbs the noise of the footsteps on the ground. We did hear our upstairs neighbors at times walking around. The room was spacious and perfect for our family. The pool was clean and nice. Parking was easily accessible. I would stay there again!

Amenities charge was too high. I didn’t use the continental breakfast due to limited variety of food offered and I had no use for the pool or weight room.

The location of the hotel was ok. Nothing bad nothing exceptional.

Well what irritated me from the get go is the $7.00 amenity fee. Really? No notification of that until you pay and sent a confirmation email, which I didn't look at. No message saying anything about it until your confirmation, seems sketchy. There's no "hot breakfast" or casino shuttle on weekdays. Hot breakfast, I didn't care about, but breakfast is lacking. Most motels have at least yogurt, they have none. The floor in our room felt sticky, I didn't want to walk without shoes. Also the air conditioner had leaked water on the floor, so floor by window had a puddle of water.

Convenient location, extremely friendly staff, room was clean, roomie and comfortable. Continental breakfast was a bit more than expected, bread, muffins, English muffins for toasting, hard boiled eggs, as well as fresh fruit, fresh made waffles, coffee and juices.

The staff were great! I was having an extremely bad day and I was a little rude but the staff were great! They kept their professional attitude and didn’t shame me for being honestly dumb. I do not want to apologize once again. Overall the place was nice and clean. Would stay there again. Oh, I also forgot my earrings, and they were so kind to call me and let know that one of the staff members found them. They kept them for me for almost two weeks, when I was finally able to go get them. Excellent service
