The Hampton Inn continues to be a clean, safe, comfortable, and convenient overnight stop on my journey (especially as a solo female traveler).This was my third stay at the Hampton Inn. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much!

System down we were unable to even stay. No help from staff to fund other accommodations. Had to drive 45 min out of way to find an available hotel

It’s very confusing to get to because there are two of the exact same ones in the same town. Not much parking, The parking is tight and the place was packed. We couldn’t get any more blankets or pillow when we asked. Woke up with back pain.

The location was very convenient.

The front desk personnel. I booked three rooms. Arrived at approx 3:40. One room was ready which my whole family used for what I thought would only be 20 mins since that was the official check in time. Second room became available at 4. Third room not available until 4:30, which was very difficult being I was traveling with my 80 year old mother on a long road trip who just wanted to lay down and nap. Also, her TV was not fully operational and she did have to have someone come to assist but they were unable to. When I indicated to the front desk person that I thought check in was at 4 p.m., he countered by saying that since we were able to get into the one room at 3:40, it all evened out. Did not feel that was appropriate in any way, shape or form. Will never stay at that particular Hampton Inn again.

Room was to be cleaned every 2 days. On day 3 I had to call for a housekeeper, towels, etc.

It was clean, an attractive room, walk in shower, counter space in bathroom was good, good-sized armoire that can hold extra suitcases & hang up a lot of clothes. Nice breakfast. Lots of parking, 24 hour person at the desk. Friendly staff. Location to shopping, very good.

No fan in the bathroom, bed was a bit uncomfortable, shower head high up on the wall making hard it to change the spray.

Breakfast was good. The room was sufficient, comfortable and clean. Just spent one night. Staff was friendly that we were in contact with. Depesh was conscientious of our concerns and was helpful after check in and after our settling in and was friendly.

When we arrived, there was only one staff member working the desk and he had to ,unknowingly to me, go to a complaint so I was there wondering how to check in. So maybe have a sign or note to put up just in case a new guest shows up, they know there is staff coming at some point. We did have an issue with the bathroom lighting. It was dimming and brightening at will but with just one night, we didn't care.

Too many kids from multiple soccer teams running the halls, and no parents or anyone from staff took any action. For breakfast no juices to be seen, only beverage was coffee.

I know the hotel was renovated because this wasn't my first time staying at this address. But your showers in the bathroom should be a little strong in water pressure, I think. The lighting in the room should be improved, and also the TV channels not happy.

The beds were extremely hard, which made it hard to get to sleep. The light in our bathroom kept flickering.

Im Zimmer links von uns hat ein paar offensichtlich für 2 Stunden (von 00:30-02:30 Uhr) lautstarken Geschlechtsverkehr gehabt (ooooh Daddy…), im Zimmer rechts von uns muss ein Tauber gewesen sein, der seinen Fernseher die ganze Nacht auf Lautstärke 100 hatte. Dazu kann das Hotel erstmal nicht viel, aber: - wieso kann ich einen Fernseher in einem Hotel überhaupt so laut machen? - wie schlecht kann ein Hotel bitte gedämmt sein? Man hat jedes Wort von nebenan gehört. - Durchgangstüren gehören generell verboten und sind hier offenbar gar nicht Schallisoliert. Zum Glück mussten wir das nur eine (fast schlaflose) Nacht ertragen. Die Zimmer sind so hellhörig, dass ich davon abrate dort zu schlafen. Fazit für uns: Wir kommen nicht mehr und weichen auch an anderen Orten auf die Konkurrenz aus.

The girl at checkout was not a good steward for your hotel. she was dismissive, hard to deal with and, quite frankly, she was lazy.

It was convenient to downtown for dining options.

Not really about not liking the property but a concern about the bathroom. I found the tub extremely slippery and not from soap. I used the safety bar to get out from the shower but while moving around in there, I was concerned for my safety and balance. I was also concerned for the safety of my 97 y/o mom and 73 y/o sister in the adjoining room. I think those appliqués would be warranted. I had asked twice about gluten free bread or option but was not addressed either time.

i left hotel on Saturday 4-18-2026, room 219. my husband and I started itching and scratching on our way home . i had to go to the Derm and spend $42.00 on pills and creams and pray it works. i’m so unhappy with Hampton Inn South in Fredericksburg, va.

J'y suis allée au moins une fois par an depuis plusieurs années avec mon service dog (toujours sans frais.) Et cette année il voulait me charger $ 50.00 Après argumentations, ils ont accepté de faire comme mes visites précédentes. Ce qui est bien et apprécié. J'avoue cependant que j'hésiterais a y retourner pour ne pas revivre cette argumentation à chaque fois (c'est un stress inutile) car c'est un endroit que j'aime bien.

Stay away from room 109 especially if you have allergies or sensitivities to smell. The smell of mold is beyond subtle and like nothing I have experienced in other hotels. If we hadn't just driven for 10 hours and got in late we would have asked to have the room switched. We went to sleep thinking the a/c would take care of the smell but it remained pretty intense and horrible. Even with allergy meds I woke up horribly congested. Also the room shares a wall with the lobby bathroom so every flush was echoing against the headboard. And finally there is a lightshow in the bathroom anytime you turn the light on. I've been to other Hamptons and never experienced this before which is why I booked here, but wow this my worst hotel experience ever.

I was trying to sleep in the hotel. There was a loud noise that disturbed my sleep throughout the whole night. It sounded like a large vacuuming sound or air pressure sound in the pipeline. I looked out the peep hole no one was there cleaning. I never found out the source of the noise. Upon checking out of the hotel. I requested a printout receipt. The hotel overcharged me. I was told that everyday price increases. I enformed them, I booked through booking.com at a set price, and what it stated the charge should be. Thankfully, they did reimburse me. Communication needs to be better between hotels and booking agents. So, service will go much smoothly for customers.
