The staff was fantastic and it was very clean.

The pool was a little shabby and said it was heated and it was not. The treadmill didn’t work.

Needs some work not clean and instead of a welcome free bottle of water I was directed to buy a $4 bottle of water from the vending machine.

Not clean not inviting. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Good location. Breakfast was better than most hotels and the breakfast staff was attentive. We got there early and the person who checked us in kept checking to see if our room was ready.

Microfiber sheets. Needed some maintenance and cleaning. There was mold on shower fixtures that could be wiped off and the curtains were stained with what looked like food spills.

Toilet was broken, put us above the smoking area outside , carpet dirty and the a/ c was too cold and was on the whole night

The location was the best due to us visiting for a family reunion.

The hotel is showing its age and there was mold in the bathroom. The coffee maker did not function prpertly.

The facility smelled. It’s outdated. The room wasn’t clean. There wasn’t a shower curtain on the shower. There was a condom wrapper in the bedroom. Stains all over the floors. The door was hard to open and close. The ac unit you could not adjust and it was so loud when you try to sleep.

It was dated and had a musty smell.

This is my second stay at this location. The property is worn, but generally clean. the rooms are clean. Lobby is clean, breakfast is great. The only thing I don't understand is a strong odor in the upper floor hallways and elevator, but the rooms both times I have been there are just fine. This is a value hotel and worth the $115 ish price.

Easy off/on interstate highway. Very good location. Property looks good from outside. Lots of restaurants in the area as well as other hotels. Lots of parking. Large rooms. Very quiet. Easy check-in and check-out. Good breakfast. Very nice and friendly guy attending to breakfast area.

This is a dated property. Carpets in room badly stained and should be replaced, preferably by hardwood flooring. Swivel chair at desk had large tears in vinyl foam lining; some tears were pretty large. Message light on telephone kept blinking and couldn't be turned out, even by staff. No night light in bathroom. Exhaust fan in bathroom not working. No Kleenex in bathroom. No freezer compartment door in refrigerator.

The breakfast was good. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, but that was about all I could eat on the buffet. I am gluten intolerant, as well as allergic to pork products, so that cut down my choices.

I was appalled to see the condition of the bathtub in my room. There were spots of rust with streaks , the safety grip stickers in the tub were stained and peeling in a coupe places.

The price was fair. Breakfast was plentiful. It was quiet.

We had to call for more towels ( there were 3 on the reservation but not enough towels) and kleenex and several light bulbs were out

We have stayed at this property numerous times due to its location and amenities. For this visit, we not only enjoyed the location but also the parking. We also enjoyed the shower, the breakfast and the cookies at check-in.

Our room was really in bad shape. We could not use the sofa or comfort chair because the springs in the sofa were non-existent and the seating furniture so badly stained. The couch should be disposed of; the chair could be reupholstered. The carpets were also BADLY stained. In the bedroom area, things were a little better although the thermostat did not work. The luggage rack was broken. Overall, this room was downright "seedy." We asked for another room but the front desk clerk said they were totally sold out and there were no other rooms available. The attitude of ALL the employees was really bad; much different from what we have ever experienced before. We definitely noticed an enormous amount of deterioration in this property from previous stays. Unfortunately, we have made a non-refundable reservation at this property on the 16th of August or we would cancel this reservation. We will never stay at this property again. Very sad!

Did not have any extra tiles. The carpet was dirty and lose. The couch was not clean and no bed clothes for it.

It was clean and well appointed.

If you stay in room 107 it takes 20 minutes to get hot water to your room. After running the shower for 5 minutes I called the front desk and they said that is just how the building is made. Some rooms can wait up to 25 minutes for hot water. So don’t be in a hurry to get to work.

The room did not have curtains to block the morning light, so if you can't sleep with daylight, this will be a problem. The carpet had a terrible musty, damp smell. The toilet would not flush properly. The cleanliness needs significant improvement, including the bath towels, which were white but had brown stains on them.

Our first room the tub had dirty residue in it. We then switched rooms and the TV didn’t work. The entrance way when walking in smelled like weed.

The property had a good breakfast selection. My 4 year old is very picky but she was able to find something which was Great!!

The rooms need to be updated as well as house keeping needs to be better at cleaning.( I had to personally clean before being able to relax) The bath tub was full of rust that looked like someone had poop on their butt and rubbed it down the tub. No hot water. AC barely worked. Had to move rooms because I needed to give my child a bath and refused to give her one in cold water. Staff needs to be friendlier, especially with children being around. For the price I paid for my families stay none of this should have been an issue.

Nice hotel with breakfast available. We stayed here on the way to Richmond because they had a hot tub! We got up early in the morning and enjoyed the hot tub before getting on with our day! The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The only issue we found was the bathroom door in the pool room was hard to move because it rubbed on the floor.

It was a good price for a quick over night stay on the way to the OBX

My room didn’t smell but once u opened the door all u could smell was cigarettes and weed. My daughter wanted to take a quick dip in the pool . It was cloudy and dirty looks like it had algae everywhere

It is an older facility, but it is being kept up.

I liked the location of the hotel. I like that it was plenty of parking and the outdoor seating out front made it look homey. The staff was nice.

I did not like that did not have towels at the pool. The pool was ice cold that we could not even use it. The floor in the room had stains on it. My comforter had stains and was yellowish in color. The bed felt damp. The tv was small and the dresser that it was on was disgusting. Kids were running around late at night being extra loud.

There wasn’t a Bible in our room.

Arrived in torrential rain storm. Sat in parking lot 15 minutes before we could get out. Took a while to get checked in - computer issues. Got to room, key didn't work. Left glasses & car keys in room. 5 phone calls to find person who could mail them to us. Do realize weather isn't fault of hotel...but it was frustrating after driving 6 hours.

The staff followed my request about not scenting the room, so it was safe for my highly allergic child. I never got a response to the booking request or email, so I had to call several times to get through and make sure they knew about this need (they did not). However, once I made them aware, they took care of it--greatly appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great.

Entering the side door closest to our room was like walking into a chemical factory, you simply couldn't breath in there. At one point when we came back from dinner, my child had to run down the hall to our room because the hall was just thick with weed smell. The business center printers were both down. there were no directions to connect, and even if there were, both had toner lights flashing indicating that they may not have worked anyway. The front desk staff did not have any information at all about how to use the machines. There was an 800 number to call, but no indications of hours that number would be staffed or if they would be able to actually provide support. Other hotels I have stayed at had clear instructions printed out near the printers, and when you wiggle the mouse of the business center computer, even more instructions come up.

Rene was wonderful! Very helpful and accommodating when I added several days to my stay. She answer all my questions with a friendly smile every time I went to the front desk.

The hotel was affordable. The hotel room was a good size overall but the bedroom does not have too much room. Breakfast is a nice perk. Room comes with a fridge and microwave automatically which isn't standard nowadays. Good amount of outlets in the room.

Room reeked of smoke up on entry so we had to keep the fan/ac on the entire stay. Hotel was unable to identify the origin of the smoke (duh it was the last guests along with the cigarette burns on the carpet). The hot water in the shower was hit or miss. I tried to take a shower in the evening no hot water. Woke up at 2am tried again no hot water. Let the water run for a while (like 5 minutes) finally some hot water. Room had a less than clean look about it. The carpet seemed a bit dull/dusty and the couch has seen better days. There is a charge for a crib- this sends a message that they are not family friendly. After being told about this charge, I will not return here and instead patronize places that don't penalize you for having a child.

I love this hotel. My family and I have stayed in it once a year for the last 4 years. The location is perfect for what we need, it has a pool, and breakfast. Plus it's quaint.

As stated above, this is our 4th stay here. The hotel smelled of weed nearly the whole time. I don't care what people do, but do not like the smell of it! Also, for a hotel that states explicitly no pets, barking was heard. Could have been a service dog, but unknown. The bathtub also needs some tlc or updating. I understand aging, but it appeared dirty.

Well for one I was supposed to have a room on the first floor and it was supposed to have two beds my room was on the second floor and I only had one bed! I was very disappointed when I arrived there

People were constantly cleaning. It showed that they cared.

I didn’t like the water on the floor by the elevator.. from the pool.. Your workers did a great job trying to keep up with it.

The room smelled like a boys locker room after the big game. The cleaning staff made it presentable best they could. Counters and bathroom clean. The bathtub floor was rusty and old and the hotel room needs an update badly. I wore my flip flops in the shower.

The property was easy to find & fairly easy interstate access.

There was mold on the bathroom molding trim & water damage to the trim & door. It took about 12 minutes of letting the water run to get any hot water. The carpeting was slimy to touch & the window curtains had dozens of pin holes.

Breakfast was not that good, I expected better choices for the type of place.
