The room was comfortable and had everything you could ask for. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially in the breakfast area. They were proactive and kept going around asking guests if they needed anything

I think everything was fab except a minor issue with staff misunderstanding the checkout date and another being that my kids didn't get the toiletries kit or towel and we had to request it. And the kids towel wasn't replaced after cleaning the room

I didnt had breakfast, but the food at Dera was very very good.

The checkin experience was not upto the mark. I go the room at almost 3PM..

The hotel satisfied me in every way. The buffet breakfast in particular was outstanding. A nice variety of dishes without being overwhelming. The check-in/check-out experience was personal and pleasant.

Recently had a memorable stay at Taj Chandigarh and was given a very good welcome by Rajat the front office manager and Mansi who ushered me and escorted me to my room. Would like to thank Sous Chef Nipun who made sure I got my choices. Also the lady who was serving in Club Lounge was very prompt. A big thank you to the restaurant team during breakfast who served with a smile. The Chauffer Chand was very efficient in his work and was with me throughout to guide me. At checkout would like to thank Mansi and her team at the reception who made my check out easy.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Taj Chandigarh. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. A special thanks to Chef Chaitanya for creating such amazing dishes and for personally taking care of us. His hospitality and attention made our experience even more memorable. Also, a big appreciation to the service team—especially Ganesh—for their polite and attentive service. They made sure everything was perfect throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic 2-night, 3-day stay at Taj Chandigarh. The hospitality was outstanding, with smooth check-in, complimentary tea/coffee, and a welcome drink that set the tone right away.The buffet breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the special cake and decoration for our anniversary made the celebration truly memorable. Rooms were neat, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel’s location is excellent.A big thanks to the wonderful, helpful staff who made every moment delightful. Located in heart of the city, this property is well planned and close to Rose Garden of Chandigarh. The Chef Balvir Singh is incredible.

Dined at Cafe 17 during our recent stay at Taj Chandigarh and was thoroughly impressed. Chef Balvir Singh and Akshay made our meal exceptional—helping us curate the perfect selection of dishes and delivering prompt, attentive table service. ​A huge shoutout to Mansi Pandey as well for organizing a wonderful birthday celebration for my wife. I booked for king size bed but was offered twin beds and forced to upgrade to suite. The hotel needs renovation as things are cracking.

Staff is amazing, Bharti at reception, Pankaj and Akshay in the restaurant.

Some workable maintenance i have seen in the men's rooms on lobby level and in my shower it looked like black mold on the bottom.

Awesome and courteous staff especially Mr Rahul Kumar, the duty manager handled all queries patiently and provided solutions to the point. Must mention Mr Tejender, the guard at gate provided a very welcoming experience while entering the premise. Very well trained staff and overall excellent hospitality.

Major events like FIFA could have been covered and access provided on TV

We have been coming to Dera at Taj for the last many years. The food and ambience has stayed the same and the staff is always warm and welcoming. The food is just amazing. If we were to choose a fancy new place vs Dera, it’ll always be Dera. Kudos to the chef !

Mr Gaurav was present full time during dinner. He ensured all meals order that it came on time.

Location, taste of food, food & beverages staff at breakfast & dinner buffet especially Mr.Pankaj who was always smiling & helping us.

Well this was my 6th time visiting Taj, Chandigarh & Taj is known for its warm welcome & great staff but this time your staff was not upto the mark. We were welcomed nicely by front desk but the people who were arranging tables at buffet were standing still. No smile, no info & during check out the person was quite nervous. Your staff seemed more confused, nervous & cold this time. Don't loose your uniqueness that is your warmth, otherwise we guests needs to search for some better options nearby...

Taj luxury promise

Room size was not as expected.

Stopped at Taj Chandigarh for a night while driving back to Ahmedabad from Shimla. The Good: Check-in was seamless, and they kindly upgraded our room due to my Platinum loyalty status. The room was good, and the In-Room Dining we ordered twice was absolutely delicious. Check-out and the arranged airport drop-off were also handled flawlessly. The Bad: The breakfast service was a disaster and felt like a 2-star establishment, not a Taj. The restaurant was chaotic. We were seated at an unprepared table with no water, no napkins, and missing cutlery. I had to chase down staff for everything. To make matters worse, the staff and managers exhibited highly unprofessional behaviour—completely ignoring our table while crowding around a foreign couple to give them VVIP treatment. A server did eventually bring us a good Amritsari Kulcha from the kitchen, but the overall experience was a huge letdown. I left feedback about this exact breakfast issue in July 2024, so it's clear management isn't reading reviews or making changes. If you can't handle the breakfast load, add staff or open more space. Everything else was great, but breakfast was unacceptable.

It was my birthday celebration stay, and taj's service was excellent. Special efforts by Harjeet, mansi and yamini really made my day. A special thanks to the staff of Taj chandigarh for making my day special.

Air conditioner was not working.I had to use a table fan during my stay.

A special thanks to Mr. Rajat, Front Office Manager, for arranging a generous late check-out, which made our stay even more comfortable. The food was excellent, and we truly appreciated the chef personally taking the effort to prepare something special for us. It's these thoughtful gestures that make a difference. A warm, professional team and genuine care for guests. A perfect 10/10 from us.
