Die Zimmer sind recht dunkel und würden ein wenig Update vertragen. Für ein Moxy dann doch sehr hochpreisig.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026We liked that it was in the center and within walking distance of our itinerary. Our original hotel cancelled due to emergency renovations so we decided to stay here because of the reviews.
Finding it! We searched high and low for the hotel itself and figured we would then find a parking space. I wish I had known Google was sending us to the parking garage. It wasn’t apparent to us that was where we needed to be. The rooms are tiny. We didn’t realize what a “Moxy” Marriott was but nevertheless was comfortable. No AC but we did ask for a fan.

Much smaller than I expected, once I opened our carryon suitcases, no where to even stand, and the mattress moves. Location is ok, university town kind of feeling, a few restaurants and ice cream shops.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Die Lage ist super. Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof- auch Spätabends. Am Morgen kann man gemütlich in den schönen Läden im Flon einkaufen.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es bis spätnachts ziemlich laut ist (Ausgehviertel) und frühmorgens bereits die Putzequipe kommt. Aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist das kein Problem.

Nachts extrem laut, da sich alle Nachtschwärmer der Stadt auf dem Innenhof vor den Fenstern (ohne Lärmschutz) versammeln und bis weit nach Mitternacht durchmachen. Dafür kommt ab halb sechs Uhr Morgens die Strassenreinigung und räumt in der nächtlichen Begegnungszone auf

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Le personnel était incroyable, les employés au bar nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement à notre arrivée et nous ont apporté toutes les informations nécessaires (y compris l'utilisation de la clim, qu'ils pouvaient nous fournir un ventilateur en plus sans soucis etc) dès notre arrivée. Ils nous ont aussi directement informé quant aux transports et comment nous déplacer dans la ville. Le pass de transport de Lausanne nous a été envoyé par mail la veille ce qui est appréciable.

Leider war es nicht so sauber. Im Bad haben wir Flecken und Haare gefunden. Auch die Bettwäsche hatte Flecken. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt zur Strasse raus, mit offenem Fenster war es zu laut.

Le personnel de l’accueil est professionnel voire agréable. Tous les hommes et la jeune dame asiatique sont vraiment prévenants. Il y a une jeune dame dont je ne connais le nom ( qui porte des lunettes ) qui n’a pas à être à ce poste.

The amount of noise coming from all the streets surrounding the hotel was absolutely insane. The area in front of the hotel felt sketchy in the evening and at night, and there were police everywhere. There was no proper air conditioning, and it was hard to sleep with the noisy ventilation (that, honestly, didn’t even cool the room).
